"Maybe." he says after what seems like ages
Okay! Not quite the enthusiastic response I was hoping for.

"We really should get going, the others might already be waiting for us. Or start wondering what we're up to."
That's true.Liz might get annoyed if we show up late after the effort she put in to organizing the event.As for wondering what we've been up to...well...let them keep wondering.Not like they don't have thier little flirtations going on.

Damn committments!

"You'll have to move first."
Smiling at him I oblige and get up off his lap,adjusting my top and going to the little mirror by the door and running a comb through my hair.Taking my gloss out of my purse I reapply it and turn to him.

"Ready if you are."

Alex

Sighing, I watch her as she moves to one of the mirrors. I was kinda hoping she'd refuse to get up.

"Ready if you are."

Smiling, I lean down to kiss her neck before looking at her again. "Give me a minute, I will be right back." With that I walk into the bathroom of the guest room, washing my hands and splashing some water on my face. Too bad that I don't have time for a cold shower. Of course, I'm also checking my face for any signs of lipstick, don't want Kyle worrying me again.

"Okay Ms Evans, lets go and meet our friends." I smile at Isabel as I join her and the cat again. "Oh, what's the name of your cat?"

Isabel

"Okay Ms Evans, lets go and meet our friends."
Happily I take his hand and open the front door,so glad that this day has turned in to a good one again.

"Oh, what's the name of your cat?"
Shutting the door behind me,I answer,"Her name's Misty and if you don't look sharp she'll jump on to your lap everytime you come here,so don't pamper her too much."

As we go down the stairs I ask "Shall we take your car?"

Makes sense to do so since he is in all likelihood heading back to my place later tonight so we might as well go in one car instead of us both taking our cars.

"Unless you want me to drive?" We walk out of the building and look at both our cars

"Her name's Misty and if you don't look sharp she'll jump on to your lap everytime you come here,so don't pamper her too much."

"Okay, I'll pamper you instead then." I laugh as I put my hand on the small of her back.

"Shall we take your car?" "Unless you want me to drive?

"No, lets take mine, after all, you were driving me on my make-over day. Just don't get too drunk." I tease. "I hope you don't mind that I forgot to shave earlier." I refrain from mentioning that with everything happening, shaving was the least of my concerns.

"Oh, we didn't get to have our coffee date." I suddenly remember. "I was really looking forward to it."

Isabel

"I hope you don't mind that I forgot to shave earlier." he says as we get in to his car

"Frankly speaking,I never even noticed but now that you pointed it out...I kinda like it but don't get ideas and grow a beard again." I roll my eyes before laughing and put on my seat belt

"Oh, we didn't get to have our coffee date.I was really looking forward to it."
Reaching over I place my hand on his thigh,in a gesture of affection,"There'll be tonnes of coffee dates to go on later Alex and anyway...we can have coffee at the carnival.That's going to be like a date after all."

I keep quiet as he pulls out on to the main road and then add,"We have to ride the ferris wheel."

Alex

I don't think that pointing out that with the beard, I was never freezing in winter will help so I remain quiet and just smile at Isabel. But it is certainly good to know that I can 'forget' to shave every now and then.

"There'll be tonnes of coffee dates to go on later Alex and anyway...we can have coffee at the carnival.That's going to be like a date after all."

Yeah, with the big brother near who might pop up next to us at the worst moment. Okay, I don't really know what said worst moment could be but ... I wouldn't be surprised if Max appears out of nowhere once or twice today.

I grin at the excitement I hear in Isabel's voice. She didn't really strike me as the ferris wheel lover but ... I'm just getting to know her and learning these little things about her is the best part of being with her. ... aside of one two other nice things.

"Okay, if you want to." I tell her with an easy grin, briefly glancing at her. "hey, btw what's your favourite color?"

Isabel

"hey, btw what's your favourite color?"

"It's blue,even though I don't wear a lot of blue but if you noticed there are plenty of shades of blue and green in my apartment.But I love to wear pink and red."

After lowering the window a bit I look back at him,"What about you?"

Alex

"What? You think I noticed anything else besides you while I was in your appartement?" I ask with raised eyebrows, "You look amazing in red - even more than usual but the color your pj's from last night have fits you too."

Concentrating on the traffic again - I do want us to make it through this trip alive after all - I wonder what will happen when we come back to her place or what she wants to happen.

"What about you?"

Huh? Did I say that out loud? Oh, no the colors, thank god, that's what she's asking.

"I also like green and blue a lot, orange aint that bad either. You can't really tell from my home though cause sadly, there's not much color in it."

We are both quiet for a moment, "What's your favourite ice cream? I'd just like to know so I can prepare myself for eventual ice cream wars in the future in case we have the same taste."

Suddenly there's a mental imagine in my head of candles burning, a tube of ice cream and one naked Isabel Evans on my bed. Clearing my throat embarrassed, I'm glad that she can't read my mind.

Glancing down at the hand on my tigh, I ask, "Are you trying to tease me again, Iz? Not that I'd mind, i'd just like to know."

Isabel

I nod my head in approval when he mentions orange.I like that colour too but don't wear it often.At least we like the same colours.

"What's your favourite ice cream? I'd just like to know so I can prepare myself for eventual ice cream wars in the future in case we have the same taste."

"I'm pretty standard when it comes to ice cream." I state "My favourite is Belgian Dark Chocolate.I can just keep eating that the whole day.Once when I had gone to spend the summer with my cousins I ate so much of it that I put on 5 kilos." I chuckle at that memory

I notice that he seems to zone out for a bit before he comes back to the present, "Are you trying to tease me again, Iz? Not that I'd mind, i'd just like to know."

Huh!? Oh...he means my hand.
"Well no I wasn't but if it's distracting you then I'll keep it to myself." I say with a cheeky grin and place it back in my lap

Damn my work! They insisted I worked on a patient and now I'm sooo late for Liz.... man this sucks! I am SO tempted to speed, but even in franticness I don't speed as I head to the carnival. But I still drum my fingers impatiently. Oh God... what if shes gone with Kyle somewhere? What if they get back together and I never get to sleep with my obsession! I mean... all day my minds been somewhere else. I REALLY need to bang her and get her out of my head!!!

Finally I make it and I park wherever I can and pull out my phone. God please don't let her be with Kyle... I know things were happening with that Tess chick but still...
I quickly dial Liz's number and hope.
