"Please...please don't make this so hard...You don't know what Sebastian's like...he'll kill you just to spite me."

Suddenly I feel the need to get away from the lake so I take his hand and shimmer back with him to my apartment.

"You have to promise me you will keep safe,stay near your friends,they can protect you."

"Well....ummm" I look at him. "Max...please just tell me....I know you have power....I can sense it...you used it on Maria...please just tell me. Im very understanding."
I feel so perfect in his arms...I wish he would hold me tighter....
Oh God...
I quickly leap away from him...I sense that then...that flicker of affection for him...
And I cant do that. I mustnt. Thats why I dont date.
I turn around so Im facing my destroyed products.
He will probably think I jumped up to get away from him because he didnt tell me...or that I dont trust him.
Great....now I feel even worse.

"Your the one making this hard. How do you know Sebastian will kill me? For all we know I could die of a heart attack tomorow or right now even. What I am saying is any of us could die at anytime. Death is a stupid escuse to stay away from people you care about."

I smirk. At least shes not a total idiot.
Then she shimmers out.
I turn to my trackers. "Keep following her. But right now I need to find a lonely little human to take prisioner.
My war on Roswell begins now."

I miss the warmth of Liz's body the secound she pulls away from me.

"I can't tell you....I am sorry."

"He will...I know he will and it will painful and it will be because of me and I couldn't bear that." I say touching his face "You deserve happiness and that is something you will never find with me as long as Sebastian stays in control."

I nod mutely still facing my broken shelves. I miss his arms around me... I just want to be in those arms....
God stop it! I have to stop this.
I look around my shop, and silent tears begin to trickle down my cheeks...not only because of the shop....but because I cant be closer to Max.

Liz begins to cry again and as if on enstinct I wrap my arms around her wanting to protect her from the world.

"Because I know I'm right when I say I can't give you that happiness.Sebastian thinks he's in love with me all of a sudden or he wants me for himself and he will stop at nohting if he can't have me...he'll destroy everyhting else."
