"Huh?" I asked in a daze "what do you mean 'what now?' "

I found myself seated next to a woman eating a tremendous amount of dessert and apparently enjoying doing it which I found amusing since most of the women in the room tonight wouldn't be caught dead eating the amount that was on this one's plate.

"Oh...just appreciating the sight of a woman who actually eats properly." I answered in my most charming voice

"I don't know...I just thought that...you might not want to kiss me all teh time or you would get bored" I said.

I looked at the polite man next to me and smiled. "Well, I don't see the attraction of being a skinny girl with nothing on her when she could enjoy herself and let the guys have something to hold on to."
I wipe my hand clean on a napkin and hold it out to him.
"Miss Pumpinell"

There he goes again...his insecurity rears it's ugly head again.I have to put an end to this once and for all

"Alex I love everything we do together...whether it is kissing,holding hands,arguing or just plain and simple talking.What do I have to do to prove to you that I am really devoted to you,I want to be with you." I asked

"Tell me and I'll do it."



Victor

"Duke Victor Van Dyke" I said taking her hand and kissing it "pleased to meet you Miss Pumpinell"

"Are you alone here or do you have an escort?" I asked

I sigh. "Isabel I know you do. It was just a joke. I just thought you might want a change of pace or something else to do" I tell her.

I sigh. "Well, I should have but apparantly he's gone home ill. Or at least thats what his blonde, leggy friend did. You would have thought after I came all this way to see him, but there you go. I expect that blonde woman has that guy wrapped round her little finger. But I will have the last laugh, you will see. No one takes my man away from meeee." I tell him. "What about you Duke Van Dyke?" I ask. "Im sure a lady must be in the wings of this place looking for you"

Isabel

I relaxed instantly,the tension form my shoulders dissipating immediately "Oh,thank goodness...I thought you were going to go all 'Insecure Alex' on me all of a sudden like earlier today" I teased

"We could go back downstairs if you want,I can get dressed again." I offered


Victor

"Well actually I am alone tonight but I had been hoping to surprise a special lady but she disappeared shortly after I arrived with her puppy dog following her."

"Ha bloody ha!" I mutter. I then turn to her and I can't help but smile. "If thats what you want to do then sure" I tell her.

"Well Duke Van Dyke, it looks like we've both been ditched for two idiots. God what ever does my Aleeex see in her!" I say in exhasperation.

Isabel

"Okay...if you're up to it I'll get into my dress again but you'll have to help me zip it up." I said as I walked to the closet and took the dress out and pulled it off the hanger

"Close your eyes until I tell you to open them." I quickly took my pyjamas off and slipped into the dress "Okay you can open them now,come over here and zip me up." I said smiling



Victor

My ears picked up when she said Alex
"Did you say Alex...Alex as in Earl Whitman?" I asked curiously

I walk over to her and begin to zip up her dress. But I can't help but look at her back's creamy skin. She is so beautiful. "There" I said with a smile. "All done" I pronounced.

I look at him curiously. "You know my Aleexxx? My little Early Pearly Sweetie Pie Aleeeex?" I ask amazed. "Wow, I didn't know he was sooo well known!" I said in amazement. "He must be worth more than I thought!" I add.

Isabel

I turned around and gave him a light kiss on the lips "Thanks sweetie"

I walked over to the dresser and began piling my hair up on my head and aplying some light make-up



Victor

I wanted to barf and laugh at the same time hearing the names she had given him...no wonder the guy took off when she arrived

"Do you know Isabel?" I asked

I watch her hands as they do her hair...her movement are so graceful. "No problem" I tell her quietly smiling, and watching.

I look at him. "An Isabeeel? I do not know a Isssaaabel. The only person I know here besidesss here is that blonde wretched woman who was in the poool with my Aleeeeex earlier." I tell him. "How do you know my Aleeeeex?" I ask.
