L-J-L 76 Yes Brian saw Serena heal a bunny.
Eve Yes Brian has known for a long time. Serena had only broken up with him a few months before she came to Roswell. Why he waited this long to come after her is still unknown.
Carolyn We don't know if Brian can be trusted. Serena is going to have to be careful.
Part 33
Liz sat out on her balcony needing to get away from the crowd.
"Liz?"
Liz turned to see her mom coming out the window.
"Hi mom."
"Liz, I just wanted to let you know I never told your father Serena wasn't welcome."
"Mom, I don't blame you. I forgave him. But it still hurt that he didn't let me know my sister."
"Liz, I have never been happy about that choice of his. But it wasn't my place to say anything."
"I know. So how did you find out about dad?"
"Well, first you should know that Serena's mom had been a friend. This happened about three years before Serena was born. Donna and I had been at the lake. Just laying on the beach and talking. Your father was down the beach and watching both of us. Neither of us really paid much mind to him. But then a scorpion crawled up and stung me."
"What happened then?"
"Your father had seen it, and knew that it was poisonous. He took out a pocket knife and cut where I was stung on my leg. Then he placed his hand on it and there was this glow. Next thing I know the poison was gone and so was the cut. He told us then he was an alien and made us promise not to say anything. Neither Donna or I ever did. He and I started to date shortly after. We had gone to a party and had a fight. Both he and Donna got drunk. They had sex that night. Serena was born six months later."
"Were you angery that he slept with your friend?"
"A little but I also knew that it would never have happened if he hadn't been drinking. That is the one thing you will need to be careful with. Alcohol and your antasrian DNA don't mix very well."
"I already know that."
"You haven't been drinking have you Elizabeth?"
"No mom! Remember, how Maria entered me in that blind date contest, and I won?"
"Yes. You were set up with that college boy!"
"Yeah. Well Kyle was drinking with some of his buddies and driving. Ended at Max's. Well Max ended up going with Kyle only to drive him. They ended spying on and then crashing the date. Well any way at some point Kyle got Max to take a very small sip of whatever he was drinking. Well let's just say it is a good thing that only one who saw anything was Kyle who was very wasted at that point."
"Ok well anyway. When your father found out Donna was pregnant he did offer to marry her. But she told him no. That she knew that I was the one he was in love with. All she wanted from him was to be there for the child if they had powers."
"Which he was."
"Yes. Serena started to show signs of powers around a year old. You on the other hand never showed any. Other than maybe the ability to learn somethings rather fast."
"I do have them."
"I know."
Liz reach over and touched her mom's sweeter changing it from yellow to an emarld green.
"Yellow really isn't your color mom. Green is a better color for you."
"I see Isabel is rubbing off on you."
"Well she does have a great sense of fashion."
"Yes she does. Let's go back inside."
"Ok mom."
Liz and Nancy headed back in the window.
"I am getting too old for this." Said Nancy
"It's not that bad mom."
"Oh honey there is one more thing I want to talk to you about."
"Mom we have have had the sex talk more then once."
"I know. But this is something you need to know. Human birth control weather it the pill, or condom or whatever. Doesn't work very well with your alien DNA. So just be sure that when you are with Max be sure you are ready for the possibity of becoming a mother."
"I will remember that mom."
"OK honey."
Nancy gave Liz a hug and when to find the others.
