Carolyn Liz will be much safer once she bonds with Max.
max and liz believer Things will be much better for Max and Liz once they bond. But I don't think you will have to worry about Kivar much longer.

Liz walked into the garden and felt strong arms wrap around her waist. She leaned back and looked up into Max's eyes.
"I know when your test will be." Said Max
"Yeah?"
"Liz, there is something you should know. Right after you pass the test we will have the bonding part of our marriage. Basically the legal part."
"When will this be?"
"In a week."
"A week?"
"Yes."
"Wow. That is so fast."
"Yeah."
"So uh what happens during this test?"
"All I know about it is you will be taken into the granalith chamber. It will just be you and the priestess. Other than that I don't know."
"I guess I will just have to wait and find out."
"Yeah."
Liz turned to face Max and and gave him a kiss.

The group of soldiers moved silently threw the house. They had to be careful not to be caught. If they were they would all be dead. They were on a planet that they had no right to be on. As they moved threw the shadows closer to the master suite they could hear loud grunts and muffled cries. They burst threw the door to find their target on top of a young girl. Two of the soldiers moved quickly and pulled him from her the leader of the group gave the order and four blasters were aimed and fired at the target. His screams were only heard for a moment before he fell silent forever. All that remained of the target was a pile of dust. The leader of the soldiers, picked a blanket off the floor covering the girl then releasing the chains holding her to the bed. She pulled the blanket tight and stared at him.
"None of my men or I will harm you. My name is Michael, we were sent by the King of Antar to deal with Kivar."
"What will happen to me?" Asked the girl.
"I will take you for medical care then it will be determined what becomes of you. What is your name?"
"Christina."
"OK Christina, do you have any clothes you can put on?"
"No. He wouldn't let me have any."
Michael ran his hand through his hair. Not knowing what to do. Then he watched as one of his men took off his jacket then his uniform shirt, before removing his T-shirt and pulled it off handing it to Michael.
"Sir give this to her and my jacket."
Michael smiled and took the shirt and jacket. Then he handed them over to the girl.
"Thank you Lt. Zane." Said Michael
Michael and the soldiers turned so that Christina could dress. Then they led her out to their waiting ship to head back to Antar.

Jenny was finishing putting some of Liz's clothes away when Liz's walked in.
"I am almost done. Did you need something Miss Liz?" Asked Jenny
"No. Take your time, and Jenny and didn't I tell you that when we are alone you don't have to be so formal."
"Sorry."
"It's ok. I have noticed that you and Zane have been spending a lot of your off time together."
"I'm sorry is that not a loud?"
"It's fine. You can spend your off time any way you want."
"Thank you."
"Jenny, do you like Zane?"
Liz watched as the young woman's face turned pink and a smile spread across her face.
"Yes. He is so sweet and kind to me. He knows what that monster did to me and still likes me."
"Zane, is a good man."
"Yeah he is. By the way I haven't seen him since early yesterday."
"He had to go on a mission with Michael."
"What kind of a mission?"
"I don't know."
"He will come back safe right?"
"I have every faith that he will. He really cares about you."
"Really?"
"Yes. Jenny it's OK if you are falling in love with him."
"I don't even know what love is. I was an orphan."
"Let give you some advice follow your heart. If it is telling you that what you feel is right then listen to. Your heart will never lead you a stray."
"OK. I have some things I need to take care of."
"Ok see you later Jenny."
Liz watched the young woman go and knew she was fighting her feelings for the personal guard. Liz knew very well what Zane was doing. But wasn't going to get the hopes of either Jenny or Kat up that the monster from their nightmares will be gone from their lives forever.
