I stand there...shocked.
"Who is having a baby?" I ask. "And if Tess is hurt why didnt she tell me? And plus, for the record, Maria told me she didnt even like me."
I know Im going to get a bad response back.....but I have to know about the baby and Tess.

"Because they didn't want me back" I whisper quietly to myself.
"Right. Well...see ya Max" I say quietly preparing myself to hang up.

A tear rolls down my cheek...God why did I mess everything up so much?
"Right" I say again.
I look at the floor...I tell myself to hang up....
"IloveyouMax" I say quickly before replacing the reciever.
I sit on the floor of the phone box and sob.

I close my eyes tightlly when the sound of the dial tone fills my ears. I refuse to cry...I am suppose to be stronge...I am their protecter...her protecter. I have failed them....I allowed myself to get distracted and sometime while I was in my own little world Liz got hurt..I don't how and I don't know why. All I know is that I need her...I love her...and if that makes me selfish so be it.
