But I cant sort myself out Isabel. I cant. The only thing I can think of to help me is to get some sort of closure. Dont I deserve that?"

Why does he have to make things so difficult?

I look at him for a moment trying to make up my mind...really how could it hurt if he were there?

Alex will just have to bear it..."Okay...you can come.' I say softly

I smile. "Oh thank you. Thank you sooo much Isabel. I swear you wont know Im there if you dont want to. Ill hide somewhere at the back...Oh thank you so much, you dont know what that means to me!" I gush.

No...she LITERALLY doesnt know what that means to me.

"I understand if you dont want to but...do you think I could....give you a hug?" I ask.

I head downstairs and ask where Isabel went. The servants said she went to a hotel...
I quickly get into a carriage and ask the driver to take me to her.
We need to discuss it realistically. I know Im a jerk. If she wants him there then...I guess he wont harm anything.

Isabel

"Can I give you a hug?" he asks innocently

What harm could that do?

"Yeah...I suppose it's okay if you do." I say none to enthusiastically

"Yeah...I suppose it's okay if you do."
I smile as I walk towards and hug her. "Thank you so much" I say loving how it feels to have her in my arms once more.

I walk into the hotel and ask the reception if Isabel had come this way. I give them a description and they said she went in the elevator.
I get the elevator and the bell boy tells me she got off on this floor.
Why did she come here?
I wak down the hallway and hear voices. I look to my left to see an open hotel door.
Inside was Isabel hugging Victor.
I stare at them for a moment as my heart drops to my feet.
"Right" I say.
I know they heard me as Victor looks at me and I can see him give a....well...an unreadable look.
I turn on my heel and get back in the elevator. The doors shut and we start going to the ground floor.

Isabel

Victor envelops me in a big hug...a little too tigth for my comfort

"Right." I hear a very familiar voice

Oh no...ALEX!

I push Victor away hastily..."Why did you let him leave?" I ask as I make for the door "I have to explain this."

"I didnt realise it was him, Ive only met him the once..." I say quickly. "Can I help at all?" I ask trying to help convince her that I really do want to be her friend.

I get out of the lift and jump back in the carriage. It immediately starts to take me back to the Bannings estate.

Isabel

"I have to go Victor...I will talk to you later." I say hurrying away

I run to the elevator..I have to stop him,he'll jump to conclusions as always.

Looking around the lobby I don't spot him anywhere....damn!he was quick.
I race to my car and head for home...he's no where in sight

So I wait outside...we can talk in the garden

I try to figure out what I do now....get my stuff and go where.....
Would the Valentis let me back in?
I doubt it.
Maybe I could stay with Michael or Max...
As we draw up at the house I get out of the carriage...
How did he get here before me?

Isabel

As soon as I see the carriage draw up to the front of the house I walk over determindly

"We need to talk...right now Alex." I say taking his hand and pulling him away from the carriage and down the garden path

"I know you jumped to conclusions." I say "But what you saw was innocent."
