"It's ok" the girl - Xadalyn - said to me. In English. Great, at least now I understood her. What was made me amazed was the way he fixed the thing that fell down.
"You guys are probably tired and its getting late. I'll get someone to take you to the guest quarters. Maybe their finished talking by now anyway. Come on let's find out" she said and started walking - Xan followed her, so I followed Xan.
Xan kept looking behind him though, to watch if I was there and close to him. I kept rolling my eyes because of that. He treated me like a little kid. Maybe I was a little kid. Hm.
We stopped for a while. I didn't listen what they said. Just waited until we were walking again and followed Xan. We were taken to a room. I looked around, wanting to say "wow" but didn't, cause it would've sounded stupid.
Though I ended up doing something more stupid, because the things in the rooms were so cool looking. I touched the few of them. I was sprosed that I didn't hear anything from Xan, so I turned to look at him. He had closed his eyes....oh well.
I heard a knock from the door and turned to look at it. A girl walked in. The same girl I had seen before.
"I suppose this is quite different for you all" she said.
"People on Antar aren't accustomed to knocking, huh?" Xan said. I was going to say that she had knocked but then Xan continued. "Different? Oh, hardly. Just a whole new landscape, a world full of hocus-pocus, a language I didn't even know I could speak, and a sister that I had absolutely no knowledge of before today. Would you call that different?" he said.
I looked at him a little confused, but let it pass.
"Xan, the girl did knock the door" I said to him. "I heard it. You were daydreaming so it's not a suprise you didn't hear it"
Then I though about what he said. "What do you mean, 'sister'?" I asked.
