"Ah! Poor guy..." She responds with sympathy. "But now he's DEFINITELY a fool!!!" I chuckle at the screen. She seems to know exactly what to say to get a laugh from me. Must be a natural talent. “College huh? College is great isn't it" Best four years of my life. I pledged Alpha Beta Zeta. “Of course thats when I met Sean but....meh.... onwards and upwards..." I’m glad to hear that she his moving forward.

"So what type of music do you like?" he inquires thoughtfully. Great question. "I'm guessing your not too keen on Metallica" She adds wistfully. “No. Not really.” I reply happily. “I am more of a Counting Crows man myself. ‘Colorblind‘ is haunting beautiful. What‘s your favorite song?” I ask very interested.

I can't help but snort at that. Well it was kinda obvious. “I am more of a Counting Crows man myself. ‘Colorblind‘ is haunting beautiful. What‘s your favorite song?” Oh that song is great. Hmm...he does have good taste.

"Ah well I'm going to have to show my true colours and amit my favorite song HAS to be Sheryl Crow's "I shall believe."" I tell him, hoping he doesn't think thats sad. "I guess I'm kinda a romantic." I say biting my lip. "But a close second and third would have to be Gomez's "We haven't turned around", and James Blunt's "Your beautiful"" I reply, sighing to myself.

It takes a moment before the words pop up on the screen. "Ah well I'm going to have to show my true colors and admit my favorite song HAS to be Sheryl Crow's "I shall believe." Great Choice. At least she’s not one of those pop tart’s who is into Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. I like a woman who appreciates quality music when she hears it. "I guess I'm kinda a romantic." Aren’t we all? When you get to the root of it all human beings want the same thing. To love and to be loved.

"But a close second and third would have to be Gomez's "We haven't turned around, and James Blunt's "Your beautiful" Wow, it’s like she’s sifting through my Cds. “That sounds remarkable. I’m actually going to a Gomez concert in a couple of weeks.” I type getting more and more excited with every word I enter. “How do you feel about Lifehouse?” If she loves them as much as I do it’s fate. I’ll marry the woman right now.

I can't help but notice every detail of her face. She smiles faintly before closing her eyes. I can't help but grin as I watch her face. She looks so.... ecstatic... so... perfect.

I watch as she flutters her eyes open and stares into mine. She has the most gorgeous eyes. She's leaning closer towards me, and I can't help but think that she's amazing. I see her eyes setlle on my lips before looking into my eyes, and smiling. She then does the cutest ducking of her head, looking embarressed.

Without words, I gently cup her cheek so she looks up into my eyes again. I smile at her before moving in and gently brushing my lips against her own. The kiss only lasts a moment before I pull back and murmur, "Sorry... couldn't resist."

“That sounds remarkable. I’m actually going to a Gomez concert in a couple of weeks.”

Oh my god... he's so lucky. Wow... Gomez... thats so totally cool...

Quicker than usual, he replies,
“How do you feel about Lifehouse?”

Did he really just ask me that?!?!

"Lifehouse?! They're amazing!!!" I quickly reply. "I totally love them! It's like they know my soul..." I bite my lip and reply. "Sorry..... I hope I don't sound too over-enthusiastic....please tell me you like them too?" I say hopefully. If he's a fan maybe he wont think I'm a total freak.

Her response is almost instantaneous ."Lifehouse?! They're amazing!!!" Wow, she took the words right out of my mouth. It‘s as if it‘s kismet. I‘ve met the woman that completes me. Now if only I could meet her outside of this electronic box and spend some real quality time together. I think we could make a real connection. "I totally love them! It's like they know my soul..." That‘s it! Gidget whoever she happens to be is also my soul mate.

"Sorry..... I hope I don't sound too over-enthusiastic....please tell me you like them too?" She adds a little apprehensively. I quickly jump in so there are no misunderstandings. “Like them? There are one of the best alternative bands of all time! ’Hanging by a Moment’ is such a fun song and it describes how love can be an adventure. It’s profound message is that: You never know how your going to make it through but as long as your together nothing else matters.” I sigh in contentment.

“What’s your favorite Lifehouse song?” I feel like I know her so well that I can guess it. I’m going to say that since she’s a romantic at heart hers will be ’Everything’. Probably the group’s best work.

"I don't mind," she practically whispers. "I rather liked it."

Ok I am the date doctor. I know what you're meant to do in said situations like this. I made a...probably too big a move. But as much as she enjoyed the kiss I absolutely should not do it again until the next date. If there is one of course.

So now I need to make conversation...let her know who I am...what I'm like.

"Do you wanna go get some air? We could talk where I can hear you properly!" I tell her as the music becomes even louder than before.

It's like he knows the exact words to say. It's as if he knows who I am... like he knows I'm Liz Parker and has been stalking me.

Oh come of it. Course not. Moondoggie is way too perfect to do that.

"Everything," I reply immediately. "No question. But a very close second would have to be "You and Me". Its just how I imagine love to be like."

I bite my lip for a moment before saying, "Ok....this is so... strange. I can't believe you like the same things as me."

She smiles and simply nods her head. See... I knew it. I gently take her arm and lead her through the busy crowd.

And its this moment when a load of big guys who look like footballers come barelling on to the dance floor. And the way that big guys do.... they completely ignored me as they practically run me over, knocking me hard on to the floor....

Where I'm lying so close to the couple who are dancing madly that the guy of the couple kicks me in the face.

"ARGH!" I yell out as my nose starts bleeding badly. It feels like its broken. Fuck!!!

I try to stand up but it hurts sooo much. I'm never so accident prone! I'm a smooth guy...

What the hell...OW MY NOSE!!!

"Kyle your gonna be ok, lets get you over here alright."

"My...dose...." I mutter painfully as I manage with Tess's help to stand up. Everyone is glaring at me. One, this isn't good for all the normal reasons like I feel embarressed. But this also isnt good because... I don't want people to pay too much attention to me. Its not good in my line of work.

I stumble painfully away from the dance floor with Tess's help. We would be right in the middle of course...

As soon as we get off the dance floor I hear gasps from the table's around us. It's only then do I realise that my blood is now all over my shirt and dripping on to my pants.

I make eye contact with my friend at the bar and I immediately see him pick up the phone. I'm presuming he's trying to get a first aider here....

And then I see he only rang three digits.

Damn! Do not tell me I'm going to the hospital...
