"I think I might go visit them in a few days then. I really do wonder how they're doing." Tess says

"That will be a good idea." I say getting up and stretching "Because I have to go in to the country for a few days next week and won't be back for two to three days."

I walk over to my dressing chamber,"Besides I'm sure Isabel will be delighted to see you.She must get lonely there without her family."

I know that Tess is also away from her homeland but she didn't have the family Isabel had growing up so she has to real ties except to her brother and even that at times I have my doubts about.

"I need to send off some messages to Euralgon this morning so I better get dressed and ready for the day." with that I disappear in to the bathroom

~KIVAR~

I am so startled by her response that I almost lose my balance on Thunderbolt. Quickly recovering, I feel my heart swell at her words, as well as the lower parts of my anatomy. I am almost shaking with need to hold her now. I literally shake my head a bit to calm myself down but it does not help. I do not want to scare Vilandra or upset her and I promised to spend the day with her and buy her a present. "Come on, we can talk about this later this evening. The market is just the next street over." I pull her close and kiss her briefly before pulling back and carressing the side of her face with my fingertips. "You've made me the happiest man alive, Lonnie."

Thunderbolt is getting restless so I pull away from Red Lips and head for the market with her riding alongside me. I take deep breaths trying to calm my boiling blood, my racing heart, and my swelled manhood.

Isabel

"Come on, we can talk about this later this evening. The market is just the next street over." he says somewhat breathlessly and my eyes sweep over his face

"You've made me the happiest man alive, Lonnie." I feel a lot happier now and I kiss his fingertips before they drop back on to the reins

I know he's controlling himself.We haven't been intimate for many weeks and the last time we were it wasn't really making love.It was more just going with the motions so to speak.I was so detached from it that it was like I wasn't there at all.

"You really don't have to buy me a present Kivar." I tell him as we come in sight of the market "This day has been enough.I've enjoyed spending time with you again."

~KIVAR~

I smile at her. "I've enjoyed the day as well. But since we're here, you might as well have a look around. Then we'll head back to the palace and rest before dinner."

A group of children playing with a dog pass in front of us and I pull up on the reins quickly so as not to run any of them over. A group of puppies is with them and I point them out to Vilandra. "Look, Lon, aren't they a good looking group of puppies. Would you like one to take home if they're for sale or the owner's looking for homes for them?"

Isabel

"Look, Lon, aren't they a good looking group of puppies. Would you like one to take home if they're for sale or the owner's looking for homes for them?" Kivar says pointing to a group of puppies

I nod excitedly,"Yes,they're so cute.I like that brown and white one."
I used to have a dog back on Antar but I gave him to Xan when I got married so having a new dog will be nice.

Elisabeth

My father's and Alex' words had somehow calmed me down and I let myself fell back in the chair. "So soon?" I purse my lips and then I chuckle. "Well, I hope they want be dissapointed about me." I'm really getting nervous now about all this news and wish nothing more then to tell Maria, my best friend, about it. "May I go back to my room, father?"

~KING JEFFREY~

I frown slightly at Liz's words and pull her into a hug. "You could never disappoint anyone, my little Lizzie." Pulling back, I nod at her and Alex. "Of course, you may go. Alex, do you want to go with her or did you have more to discuss with me?"

~KIVAR~

I nod at Vilandra before dismounting and gesturing to one of the small boys in the group. "You there, young man. Come here, son," I say in a friendly way. He walks over slowly and nervously and I ask, "Do you know who owns the puppies? Are they for sale?"

"Yes, sir. My father owns the dogs, sir. The smallest red one we are keeping but the others are for sale. Their father was a good hunter," he says enthusiastically.

I look around and see a man rushing towards us. "Is that your father there, boy?" I ask, nodding at the man. The boy nods and I straighten as the man nears. "Hello, there."

"Oh, your majesty, I'm terribly sorry if the children and the dogs were bothering you and..." he looks a bit surprised as he looked up at Lonnie. "and the queen."

I hold up my hand and shake my head. "No, sir, they weren't bothering us. I was just asking the boy about the dogs. The queen has taken a fancy to the little brown and white one. I myself would be interested if any of them has a tendency to be a good hunter. How much do you want for them?"

He nods enthusiastically. "Oh, yes sir, they are good dogs, the whole lot of them. The small girl that the queen eyed is the only girl of the litter but she holds her own, she does. As for a good hunter, I would suggest the all black one. He is always into things but minds well and is eager to please."

I move to help Vilandra down and pick up the puppy that she had spied. "Here, my love, look her over and make sure she's the one you want." I turn back to negotiate a price for them. I get a good deal on the hunter and the man won't hear of payment for whichever of the dogs Lonnie wants.

Isabel

Kivar starts talking to the owner of the puppies who seems only too pleased to be doing business with the King.

"Here, my love, look her over and make sure she's the one you want." he says after I get down from Red Lips and he hands me the little puppy who had caught my eye.

She wiggles about in my arms but licks my fingers and yawns in my face and I laugh.I know that I want her."I'm sure that she is the one I want Kivar." I say after he finishes speaking to the man "May be he should have the puppies sent over a little later.It might be awkward taking them back on horseback."

ALEX

"No father, there is nothing that has to be discussed immediately so I wouldn't mind escorting Elizabeth, if she doesn't mind the company." I reply, smiling at my baby sister. "But I'd like to talk to you later if you have time." I say, turning back to the king.

With the danger of war beginning and us having *guests* here soon, there probably are a few things that have to be discussed.

I watch Vilandra with the puppy out of the corner of my eye as I inspect the little black one that the owner had suggested to me. The puppy licks my hand and yips a little. Then he moves to chewing on my fingers. "I'm sure that she is the one I want, Kivar. May be he should have the puppies sent over a little later.It might be awkward taking them back on horseback," she says and I nod.

"Yes, that's a good idea. Sir, would you mind having the two puppies sent over to the palace? I'll be happy to pay you extra for your trouble," I offer.

He bows and nods happily. "Oh, no sire! I'd be happy to do it for you! We'll have them bathed and cleaned up and delivered to the palace before nightfall."

I nod and hand him back the little black dog. I take the muzzle in my hand and turn the puppy's face up to me. "I think I'll call you Charcoal for your color," I tell him and he yips at me. I laugh and turn to Vilandra, holding out my hand for the dog. "What will you call her, my queen?"
