"Can I come in?" she asks brushing past me.
"Of course" I tell her.
I sit on my bed and look up at her. I pat the bed besides me. "Come and sit, I dont bite" I tell her.
"What is it I can do for you Isabel?" I ask as I look her up and down.

Ignoring his request to sit by his side I seat myself in the sofa opposite the bed

"I don't want you to coem for my wedding ceremony." I say quickly

I pretend to look shocked for a moment.
"What? Im hurt Isabel" I say putting my hand to my heart.
"But your brother...he already asked me? He wanted a friend...are you going to deny him that?" I ask. "I mean, what harm will I do. I admit, I love you Isabel, but as your friend I want to see you get married. Do you not consider me as a friend? Do I not deserve an invitation?"

Damn!he's such a good actor.
I look at him for a second,my resolve wavering
"That's the problem...we aren't friends." I state before getting up to pace

"You might be Rory's pal but you and I stopped being friendly a long time ago.Having you at my wedding ceremony will just make everyone uncomfortable."

I come to a standstill in front of him "So I'm asking you not to come...you're welcome at the reception later on,though."

That sounds a little silly but if it will make Alex happy then I really don't care

I stand up angrily and go to the window. "Get out" I say quietly. "If you really believe I would do such a thing get out now Isabel." I say in a pained voice.

I stand at the door hesitating...he sounds so sincere that I tempted to give in
