Hey everyone~ Thank you all so much for the feedback! It really means alot to me! Keep it commin! Anyway, here's the next part!

Part 9

The next morning, Maria had a hard time getting Colin ready for day care. She tried everything, but he relentlessly threw his cloths and shoes, and jacket out of her hands. He even hid in his closet and mind warped her as she frantically looked for him. Finally Michael stepped in and explained to him that he would bring Liz to see him as soon as she woke up. Finally, a few tears later and many hugs, Jason strapped him into his car seat and they were off. Flopping on the couch, she curled up next to Michael. “I wish I didn’t have to go to work today. You and Alex are lucky, you get to stay here and study. Then when Liz wakes up, you get to sit around and hang out while I’m slaving away filing papers and getting coffee for my boss.” She groaned as Michael chuckled. “Speaking of coffee, I could use a cup. How about you?” He kissed her on the head before he got up and walked to the spacious kitchen. “No” came Maria’s reply as she head toward the stairs to her and Michaels room. “I have to get ready. Thanks anyway though.” Michael smiled as he set about cleaning the last remands of the forgotten dinner. With a wave of his hand the dishes were clean and put away. He gave Maria a light kiss as she grabbed her car keys and headed out the door, just then Alex came walking in the kitchen. “I heard the commotion this morning. Colin didn’t want to leave did he?” Michael smiled at him. “Yeah, he even mind warped Maria as he hid.” Alex laughed at that. “When did he stop being a little kid and become an unruly teenager?” Michael looked at him. “I think that would be when he became 18 months, only it’s not months to him, it’s years!” Alex chuckled as Michael set his breakfast down in front of him. “That’s the last of the pan cake mix, we’ll have to go to the store today sometime.” Alex nodded at him. “Ok thanks I can do that later. I don’t have much studying to do today anyway.” Michael nodded at him just as Liz walked into the kitchen. “Morning boys. Is Colin gone already?” Michael rushed to her side, “Liz, you shouldn’t be out of bed. All you had to do was ask for me to come to you! You should be resting!” Liz looked at him. “I’m fine! Really! I just have a massive head ace, that’s all Ok?! SO CHILL!” She gave Michael a kiss on the cheek and went to pour herself some coffee. “By the way, how did you like Colin’s little warp game this morning?” She asked with a smirk. Michael looked at her. “That was you wasn’t it? I didn’t think he could hold a warp that long. I should have guessed. We all thought you were asleep.” Liz yawned. “You know how hard it is to sleep once Colin is awake?” She asked “It’s like trying to sleep through the Monster Truck Races at the Expo Center. It would never happen. To much noise going on in my head! ”

Suddenly the phone rang. Liz reached to grab it but Michael got to it first. “Hello?” He asked. “No…she’s not awake. Can I take a message? No, I’m not going to wake her up. I don’t care…Look, you’re the one’s that said she some time off. Calling her to discuss anything is not….”He didn’t get to finish as Liz flew the phone out of his hand. As it landed in her own she put it to her ear. “This is Liz. Oh, Hi Agent Johnson. Yes, Yes…I don’t know if I could. Yes of course I’ll try…Hey, I said I’ll try. I can’t promise anything though, my powers are still exhausted from yesterday…fine. No…I’ve got to go see Colin this morning. Michael promised to take me as soon as I woke up. Yes, fine two O’clock should be fine. Yeah, ok. Bye.” She sent the phone flying to it’s cradle as she glared at Michael. “Mike, you can’t lie to them. They wouldn’t have called if they knew I was still asleep!” Michael glared right back. “You’re the one who’s supposed to be off right now, what could possible be so important that couldn’t wait until your better?” Liz looked at the ground. “They need me to do a find and rescue. Agent Krich went missing last night and they need me to find him. It’s no big deal, I’ll go in and find him, then I’m out. At least I won’t be going anywhere. They are coming here at 2 O’clock. Now are you taking me over to see Colin or am I taking Prince over there?” Michael sighed. “How about you take Prince and I’ll meet you over there? You could do with the fresh air.” Liz nodded. “Fine, I’m going to go get ready and get him saddled. I’ll see you when you get there.” Michael walked over to her and pulled her into a hug, “you know sis, have I ever told you how stubborn you can be?” Liz hugged him back. “Many times, but it doesn’t hurt to hear it once more. Stubbornness has come in handy when it comes to survival don’t ya think?” She looked up at him, her big brown doe eyes smiling at him. Kissing her on the forehead he changed the subject. “Alex and I are going to the store today, anything you want?” She shook her head no and headed out to the stable. “I’ll see you boys later.” With that she was gone

Liz gave Sonny’s ears a gentle rub as she headed toward the sable. Whistling softly to the horses, they came cantering to the barn, Prince in the lead. She filled their water and feed, and threw them all hay. Gathering Princes brushes, she entered his stall and started to groom his already gleaming black coat. Finally satisfied that he was clean, she went and gathered his bridal and English saddle from the tack room. Prince was eager to go. It wasn’t often that Liz rode him so early in the morning, and it was both their favorite time to ride. The mist still clung to the hills as Liz lead him out to the yard. Swinging her leg easily over his tall back, he waited for her to put on her riding helmet and let down the stirrups, adjusting them to fit her short legs. Jason had been worried about Liz buying Prince at the Amish auction in Hillsboro last summer. But Liz had fallen in love with the gleaming 16.5 hands high stallion right away, and it was obvious Prince felt the same way. Over the three years the group had lived in Wisconsin, money had not been a problem. Especially when Liz demanded a hefty sum for her work at the FBI agency.

Whistling for Sunny to follow, Liz and Prince started their warm up for the five mile journey ahead of them. Prince was the only thourobred on the farm. Most of the other horses were Quarter Horses or Arabians, also there was Colin’s Shetland Pony by the name of Beauty. Finally giving Prince his head, Liz fell into the familiar beat of his canter. His long strides carried them quickly down the road where the path started behind neighboring farms that would lead them to the small town where Jason and the others lived. No one questioned Liz when she would ride Price to town. Even though it was against the law to ride horses in the town. But the local Sheriff was from Antar, and was very loyal his queen. Sighing as the town came into view, Prince slowed to a trot. Flaring his nostrils, he understood what the town meant. But it didn’t stop his frustration for wanting to go faster and longer. Liz smiled and patted his neck. “I know boy, on the way home, I’ll let you have your head for as long as you wish…you can run your little heart out.” Prince gave a prance sideways as if he understood every word that she was saying. Liz looked over her shoulder, seeing that Sonny had kept up, she let the lab go in front, tong hanging out in happiness. Reaching Jessabella’s house, Liz dismounted and tied Prince up to the hitching post that Jason had installed just for her.

Liz smiled as she listened to Colin’s happy babbling in her head. Before she could even reach the door, his head popped through the little doggy door. Sonny barked excitedly as she tried to push him to the side. Soon, Jessa opened the door with Colin half in and half out. All the kids gathered around excitedly as she bent and helped Colin out gently. He hugged her around the neck tightly and she gave him a kiss on the cheek. “How’s my little man? Huh? Are you being good?” Colin nodded excitedly as he wiggled to be let down. Dropping his feet to the porch, he reached for her hand and lead her into the house. Colin didn’t really need to speak telepathically, his eyes told everything. Just like his father, his eyes told everything his soul was feeling. Liz sighed as the familiar ache returned, as it always did whenever she thought of Max. Jason stood in the doorway eyeing her carefully. She just stood and looked at him. Finally satisfied he asked “How are you feeling?” She walked over to a chair. Pulling Colin into her lap, she wrapped her arms tightly around him. He sighed as he laid his head against her chest and went back to watching TV. “Fine” she finally said, looking at Colin. He got the message and turned to walk into the kitchen. Holding Colin for a few more minuets, she finally eased herself out of the chair. Kissing him on the forehead, she held his cheek. “I’m going to go talk to Uncle Jason for awhile, Ok? You stay here and watch TV.” He nodded and Liz went to go walk to the kitchen.

Sighing she stood by the counter as Jason handed her some pills and a glass of water. Thanking him, they walked out onto the pouch. Jason waited for her to start. “Jas, I’m fine, really. You all need to stop worrying.” Jason didn’t say anything. Finally he looked across the yard. Not meeting her eyes he said. “Michael called me, he said you didn’t look fine last night.” Liz grumbled under her breath. Finally Jason met her eyes. “Liz, your self destructing.” Liz shook her head. “No Jason I’m not. I’m fine this morning. Really. Even Prince thinks so.” She smiled at him, trying to ease the tension in the air. “How often do you come home these days, unconscious and full of so much energy it‘s visible? Even though your out cold?” Liz sighed again. “Ok, so I admit. Sometimes, I can’t control it and I pass out. But it doesn’t happen all the time!” Jason looked at her hard. “Your body can’t take all of this. You know that better then anyone. You need to balance out, you can’t take this all on by yourself.” Liz returned his hard stare. “And I guess your proposing that I just stop and let them take Colin?” Jason didn’t say anything for awhile. Finally he spoke. “Liz, you know that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying you need to explain to them what is going on and wait for Max to arrive. Other…”He didn’t finish as Liz jumped up. “Max isn’t here and may never be here. I can’t wait for him to show up and expect for those bastards to understand what the hell is going on. Christ Jason! We all have to admit it, Max may never come back. You even said yourself, Isabel going to get him may not guarantee his return. She may never return herself! How do we even know if she made it?! She’s been gone for months! It’s not like she asked for anyone’s opinion on this little mission of hers.” She stopped to get her breath, light headed. As she lifted her hand to swipe the hair that was in her face. She tried to hide the crackling green bolts that ran up and down her hands. Jason noticed though. Grabbing her arm before she fell, he helped her sit as Colin came running out of the house. Standing in front of her, Colin rested a little hand on her cheek, pulling the access power from her into him. Trailing his hand down her cheek, his little finger brushed her lips, before relishing contact. But not before Liz snuck in a kiss to his palm. Smiling at him, she pulled him into a hug. Jason got up and walked in to the house. Liz took Colin’s hand and they went and played in the back yard. After awhile, they heard Jessa greet Michael.

Walking around the house to avoid their worried stares she lifted Colin on Princes back. Prince loved Colin just as much as Liz and didn’t shy away from Colin’s excited squeal’s. Swinging her leg behind Colin she lifted herself onto his back. Michael came to the front door. Leaning against the door he crossed his arms and looked at her. Finally he walked over and looked up at them. Handing Liz Colin’s riding helmet he said. “Alex just called, Agent Steven’s called to let you know they are on their way.” She nodded. Swinging Prince’s head around, she thanked Jessa, Jessa just smiled. Turning to Michael she added. “I’ll see you at home bro. I’d like to get pizza or something tonight…if that’s Ok with everyone?” Michael just nodded. Finally she whistled for Sunny. As the dog came bounding out of the house, she wrapped an arm around Colin and gave Prince his head. Prince, knowing Colin was on his back started out with a smooth trot, nearing the edge of town, he picked up his pace as Liz nodded to those who stopped and bowed slightly to her. She had never gotten used to that, but figured it came with the title. About fifteen minuets later, she slowed Prince down and she asked him to halt. Sliding to the ground. She lifted Colin to the ground. Taking his helmet, she let him run ahead as she lead Price lazily down the path. Sunny following close behind Colin’s quick little steps.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the feed back! I hope you lurkers will leave some some time. Anyway, here's the new part!

Part 10

It wasn’t long before she noticed Adam coming up on them riding one of the groups four- wheelers. As he neared, Sunny pushed Colin to the side of the path. Adam slowed, finally reaching Liz and Prince. “I thought I’d find you out here. The Agent’s are at the house. I figured you’d have Colin with you, and since I know how you like to walk the rest of the way, I thought I….” “Adam!” Liz barked “Your babbling! What is it?!” Adam blushed. His crush on Liz had blossomed into love, but he never reached out and grabbed it. Knowing it could never happen. “They said they have activity…” Liz’s head snapped up. Reaching for Princes reins she easily lifted herself onto his back. Colin came over as Adam slid to the ground, already understanding. “Colin sweetie, Mama has to run to work. Are you going to be Ok playing with Adam until you reach the house?” Colin nodded grinning and he grabbed Adam’s hand. Liz smiled wistfully as she nudged Prince into a gallop, mouthing a ’thank you’ to Adam.

Manika lead the small party down the ramp of the ship. She signaled for her men to fan out and search the area. Finally Max and Isabel followed. Isabel had explained to the group that the FBI most likely already knew of their landing and it wouldn’t be long before they came to investigate. So they wasted no time in turning the shield on for the ship and set out on foot. They were about fifteen minuets from the little town of Burk. There they planned on renting an SUV that would take them up to where the main community lived.

Max looked around, things smelled so different here on earth, the air was heavier and carried the smells of the planet and made them richer. He shook his head. He had to keep focused on the mission at hand, Liz. Thinking about her made his stomach do the familiar flip flop. He could already feel the familiar tingling that was her at the edge of his mind, and it was making him giddy. To see her again, to look into her eyes and hold him….Isabel noticed the giddy look on his face. She snapped her fingers to get his attention. “Max, don’t start smiling yet. Your not everybody’s favorite person these days. In fact, some may be down right hostile toward you.” Max frowned, he wasn’t really looking forward to the confrontation with everyone, especially Michael and this Adam guy Is had told him about. He didn’t like the idea that another guy was after Liz, and he was grateful that Isabel had showed up to let him know what was going on, although he was mad at himself for not reacting to his bad feeling, Years ago, the group had promised each other not to pass off their ’feelings’ as nothing, because an uneasy feeling among them was nothing to be ignored. Signing, he ran to catch up to Isabel

Liz finally slowed Prince as she neared the house. Maria was waiting for her at the stables and took Princes reins as Liz thanked her and ran for the house. As she neared she noticed Alex sitting outside smoking a cigarette, a nasty habit all of them had picked up over the years, Liz mainly because she could feel every time Michael needed one and it was hard to fight. Alex yelled something into the house and Agent Stevens immerged followed by thee other Agents. She saw Agent Johnson and nodded to him. Out of all the agents that she worked with, Agent Johnson was the nicest to her and treated her more like a person. She noticed the grim looks on their faces, and felt her stomach tighten. *This can’t be good* she thought. Reaching Alex, she grabbed her own cigarette from his pack and lit it up. Sitting in an empty chair, she leaned back, sighing. Everyone followed suit, as they pulled benches and chairs to sit with her and Alex. She looked at Agent Stevens and waited for him to speak. He only eyed her. Finally she spoke. “Adam says you found activity, what’s that all about?” She leaned forward. Stevens just looked at her, finally he said. “It was nothing as far as we can see. I’ve had agents combing the whole area for anything unusual, but they came up with nothing.” She nodded “Where was this activity?” Agent Johnson looked at Stevens, when he saw he wasn’t going to offer any further information, he spoke up. “About a mile and a half from the town of Burk. That’s about two and a half hours from here.” Stevens glared at him, looking back at Liz he said again “But it’s most likely nothing” Liz looked down at the ground. “Nothing isn’t nothing when it comes time to us, especially when we have feelings…” Alex’s head jerked up at her statement. “You have a feeling?” Liz nodded. Looking around at the faces around her she added “Yeah, and I have a feeling something BIG is about to happen, something that will affect all of us.” Alex paled. When Liz got a feeling like that, it meant that that something was going to affect them all in a bad way.

After talking some more, Liz connected with Agent Krich. Finding him, he looked grateful to see her, but also a little annoyed. “Jeeze Liz! I thought you would never get here!” Liz smiled. Agent Krich was another one of the Agents that was nice to her. “Sorry bud, had some other important stuff…activity stuff, you understand.” He nodded. After he told her all that he knew, Liz broke the connection with him. Now awake, she looked at Agent Steven’s and told him everything that Agent Krich had told him. Satisfied that they come for what they needed, they stood and walked toward the town car. Johnson turned and waved at her before getting in.
Michael arrived at the same time as Adam and Colin. Colin raced up the hill toward Michael as fact as his little legs could carry him. Grabbing Michael finger, he led him over toward where Alex, Maria and Liz were all discussing Liz’s feeling. Michael looked around the group. He already knew about Liz’s feeling, and it only amplified his own sense of dread. “What should we do Michael?” He turned to look at Maria with concern. He still had not gotten used to everyone looking to him for what they should do in sticky situation. It was hard when so many people you cared about were involved. Michael grabbed a chair and sat next to Maria, lifting Colin into his lap. He shrugged “I don’t know, wait I guess. Jason says there hasn’t been any word from Antar, and I don’t think we have anything to worry, Kivar is dead and I don’t think this feeling is something we should worry about. Unless it has something to do with Liz…” he stopped when he noticed Liz glaring at him. He sighed. Bringing up Liz’s condition was something he learned a long time ago not to talk about. He grimed at the sound of her voice as she spoke to him *don’t even think about bringing that up Michael. You know how much it upsets Colin!* Michael stared at her *Fine Liz, but when ARE we going to talk about it?! You can’t just keep putting it off! Max may never return in time to help you, and then what will happen?* The group watched as Liz paled. By now, they were accustomed to the silent conversations between Liz and Michael and the staring contests that accompanied them. Liz jumped from her seat when Michael brought up Max. Taking Colin from him she yelled over her shoulder, “I’m ordering pizza…so if you want some, you better let me know what to get.” Liz slammed the door on her way in. Everyone glared at Michael. “What?!” he asked. Adam just looked at him from where he was standing. “You brought up Max didn’t you?” Maria just glared at him. “Michael how could you? You know how she gets if he’s mentioned! It’s all she has left to hope for.” she stood as Adam continued. “Izzy is going to come back Michael, just because you lost hope doesn’t mean she has.” Michael looked around at the group. “I can’t lose her, we have to find another way. I only voiced what we are all thinking. We have to talk about this. We all know what is going to happen to Colin if she dies, and I know that we have to find a way to stop it.” They all looked at him, Alex stood saying. “That may be the case Michael, but it doesn’t mean we have to upset her over the situation, she already feels guilty enough, I know she’d be dead right now if she didn’t have the hope that Is reached Max and is on her way back.”

Inside the house Liz curled up on the couch. Tears she tried so hard for so long finally finding their way down her cheeks. The situation seemed hopeless, and yet she remembered Max words to her in his letter. “don’t let hope fail you, I will return…” Those word were all that kept her going these days. Colin crawled into her lap, straddling her. “Mama?” he asked. She looked at him, his big amber brown soulful eyes stared back at her. She gave him a small smile and brushed his raven black hair out of his face. He was a spitting image of Max, even down to the slightly out turned ears. Pulling him to her in a big hug she sighed. Max words weren’t the only thing keeping her going. The love for her child was her pillar of strength, letting him in, she once again was amazed at his wisdom. *hey sweetness, how are you?* *I’m Ok mama, but I don’t think you are…* Liz laughed. Sometimes, she wondered who was the parent and who was the child. *sweetness, I am fine, as long as I have you, I will always be fine.* Colin looked at her. A slight frown on his sweet face. *do you feel it mama?* Liz looked at him, a frown of her own on her face. Sliding her hands to cup his chubby cheeks she stared hard into his eyes, as if the answer to his question lay in his amber puddles. *what am I supposed to feel Colin?* Colin broke the staring contest and pointed out the big window that graced the living room. *he’s out there mama…I can feel him, he’s coming for you.* Liz stared at her son. Hearing the words that Max had spoken to her so long ago. ’I’m coming for you’, startled her. *Colin, we’ve had this conversation before sweetness, daddy is far away, doing important things. He can’t just come for me, that’s impossible.* Colin snuggled against Liz and sighed. *Mama, she’s coming too.* Liz was getting uncomfortable with this conversation with her two year old. Staring out the window she asked him the question she feared. *Who’s coming Colin? Who is she?* Colin shook his head, indicating he didn’t know. Just then, the group piled in from outside. Noticing the strained look on Liz’s pale face Maria sat next to her and pulled Colin into her own lap. Liz gave her a small smile. Turning back to Colin Maria asked. “Ok buddy, what would you like on your Pizza?” Colin lit up at the mention of Pizza, it was rare that they ordered in pizza, but like every young child, it was on his list of favorite foods. Answering her question with a smile he yelled with his mind *pepperoni and black olives…and lots of Tabasco sauce!!!* Maria laughed as he hopped off her lap and ran around shouting “pizza! Pizza! Pizza!” Finally Michael swooped down and threw him over his shoulder swinging him around. Causing him to squeal with delight. Alex grabbed the phone from Liz and put in the order. No one noticed that Liz had stood and was staring out the window into the growing darkness. Finally realizing that is wasn’t Max’s sudden appearance she was dreading, it was ’she’. Whoever she was, Liz knew that if Colin could feel her, then she was not something to be taken lightly. She thought about telling Michael about her and Colin’s conversation, but decided against it with a shake of her head. She then decided that later, after dinner, she would take Prince on that promised run to freedom.

I know I know...I haven't been around to post. Ok, so that's a lie...I've been around, just really busy. So here's the next part. Sorry it's so short and everything, but I should have another out within a few days.

Part 11

Isabel slept peacefully beside Max in the back seat of once of the SUV’s that Manika had rented to drive them to the community. Manika sat quietly in the front seat as the older man with no name drove. Finally, Max couldn’t take the silence any longer. Leaning forward in his seat he spoke to the two quietly. “So are either of you going to explain who you are?” he asked pointing a finger at the man who drove. Manika looked at the man, then turned in her seat so she could talk directly to both of them. “Max, I don’t think…” Before she could finish the man spoke. It was the first time Max had ever heard him speak and he was amazed at the gentle gruffness it held. “It’s Ok, Mannie. I think it’s time we told his highness who I am, and what I am doing here. Now that we are a way from Kayla, I don’t see what it could hurt.” Manika eyed him wearily. “Fine…I don’t like it though Sir.” The man just smiled at her. “He’s going to find out sooner or later Mannie. Especially once we see Jessa again.” Manika smiled at him. Turning back to Max she told him. “This is my trainer, Rath.” Max was stunned. He had heard stories around the palace about this legend warrior. Manika continued. “He’s Michaels father, and your uncle.” Max could only stare at the profile of the older gentlemen. So this was his fathers protector. Isabel had filled him in on all the stories that Jason had told them about Michael’s father, but meeting him in real life was different then listening to stories that held such legendary folklore on Antar. Questions were flying through Max’s mind, but he remained unable to form a coherent thought, finally he was able to force out a “oh” for the sake of understanding. Manika turned to him and smiled, “I see your surprised your highness…” Max could only nod his head. Leaning back and looking out the window, it was another while before his curiosity got the better of him. “So…just what are you doing here? I mean, I thought you were dead?” Even glancing at his profile, Max could see that his question hurt the older man. Max couldn’t help but chuckle when he grunted in a ’oh so Michael way’. He was silenced though with a look in the rear view mirror. “I should have died that day…not your father.” Max could only look at him. “What happened?” Rath only shook his head, indicating he didn’t want to speak about it. Max nodded in understanding. He suddenly perked up as his connection with Liz became more clear. Speaking to know one in particular, he whispered, “We’re close…” Manika heard him and turned in her seat. She stared at him with no expression, once again amazed at the connection between her King and his love. She watched as he scrunched his brow in concentration. “What is it?” She asked. Max gently shifted Isabel off his shoulder. The sudden movement brought her out of her slumber. “Liz is upset about something…I can’t quite…” he paused. “She’s blocking me…most likely unconsciously…but….” he continued to mutter in incoherent sentences as both Manika and Isabel peered at him with worried expressions. “Max, what is it?” Isabel asked worriedly. “Is Liz having another fit?” At her question Max snapped out of his daze. “What do you mean fit?” He asked with a worried expression. Isabel shook her head. “It’s nothing…really.” Max turned to face her. “Don’t tell me it’s nothing Izzy, what do you mean by fit…are you talking about her control here?” Isabel shook her head. “Max” she sighed. “This whole situation has a lot more going on then just her not being able to control her energy. She doesn’t have an outlet for her energy, so it consumes her, and I mean consumes her. She’s out like a light when it’s socket has been over loaded. She has to be reset and it gets harder to do every time that happens.” Max stared at her before turning to Manika. “How much longer?” he asked. Manika looked at Rath. “Maybe an hour and a half…I don’t really know, we’ll get there around evening I guess.” Max looked at Rath. “Can’t you step on it?” Rath grunted. “This an’t Antar your highness, I can’t break any laws.” Manika looked at him. “I’ll cloak us, relay the massage to the other vehicle to keep up.” With that she closed her eyes and concentrated, cloaking the small caravan as it made it’s way to the group.

Liz made her way outside to the barn with a sigh. She had been restless waiting for the pizza and decided she would eat when she got back from her ride. She wasn’t really hungry as it were anyway and she just needed to be free. Whistling for Sunny, she threw a bridal over Princes head. During these types of runs Liz never bothered with a saddle, loving the feeling of Princes muscles rippling under her as he ran. It was a feeling of pure power and grace that she craved. She was just about to mount when she spotted Michael leaning against the barn watching her. “Where you going to tell anyone where you were going?” he asked impatiently. “Michael, please don’t start…I need this.” Michael nodded in understanding. “I know sis, but how the hell am I supposed to protect you if you won’t let me in?” Liz huffed, willing her emotions to disappear before she lost it. “Michael, please can we not do this right now?” Michael shook his head as he walked forward and patted Prince on his neck. He stared up at Liz as she sat atop the extravagant animal. “When are we going to go through it Liz? You keep putting it off, and you need to face it. Especially with the feelings your having, you can’t just ignore them…you know that a horrible idea.” Liz nodded as a single tear rolled down her cheek. “I know Michael, but I can’t face it without Max here with me. I know you can’t understand that, but that’s how I feel. I miss him Michael, more then anything in this world. Colin is the only thing keeping me going but I am so tired…” With that said she turned Prince and let him loose, quickly putting distance between her and all of the pain. Michael sighed as he turned toward the house, never noticing the eyes that followed him as he walked inside before turning them to where Liz had disappeared.

About fifteen minuets after Liz left, the caravan of SUV’s pulled up outside the groups home. Isabel sighed as she looked around. It had been fall when she had left and from the looks of it, it was the beginning of summer if not later. As everyone gathered around her she pulled Max aside. “I think it would be best if I went in first. You won’t be well accepted back, especially by Michael.” Max nodded sadly as he watched her make her way toward the house. Isabel approached the door slowly. With a sigh, she entered the kitchen. Closing it behind her she smiled as she listened to the commotion in the other room. She listened to her nephew babble on and on about pizza. She turned quickly as she heard someone make their way to the kitchen. “Liz, did you change your mind….” Alex stopped as he stared at the person standing their. “Isabel…” he whispered. “Isabel!” he said louder as he rushed toward her taking her in his arms. His shout brought everyone running to the kitchen in a flash. Everyone yelled as Isabel let the tears flow down her cheeks. After everyone said their hello’s Michael turned to her. “Is Max with you?” Isabel nodded. “Where is he?” As she filled them in, no one noticed as Colin sneak by and out the door.

Max leaned against the SUV and took in the beauty that surrounded him. The sun was low in the sky and it’s orange hue splashed color in the sky. Colin stood and stared at the group of people, looking for the man in the pictures. When he found him, he slowly made his way forward. All eyes turned to him, making him squirm, but he never took his eyes away from the tall man that his mama had told him was his father. Manika was the first one to notice the little boy that slowly made his way toward Max. There was no doubt that this was the heir. He was a spitting image of Max, his black hair falling across his forehead and into his amber eyes. Manika changed a glance at Max but he was studying the sky, so she elbowed him. He was about to say something when his eyes fell on the little boy who was now standing before him. Amber eyes met amber eyes as Max knelt down before him. Colin stared at him father, fidgeting shyly. He slowly lifted his hand and ran it across Max’s face, opening a connection and showing Max everything Liz had gone through while he was away.

Hello people...This is going to a long part due to the fact that I may be moving here in a couple of weeks. I'm still working out details. So I hope this will tide you over.

Part 12

Isabel sighed as questions were thrown at her. She answered them as best as possible, finally she held up her hands. “Guys…I don’t know everything…but Max can answer them better. Where’s Colin?” When she brought up the little boys name, everyone looked around. “Colin?” Michael called. Maria went back into the living room only to find that he wasn’t there. “He’s gone…” Everyone fled out the door and around the house only to stop in their tracks. They stared at the sight before them. Max was holding Colin in his arms, tears ran down his face as Colin clung to his father. Max looked up as he heard them approach. They stood their awkwardly finally Michael stepped forward. “It’s nice of you to finally make an appearance your highness.” he spit out sarcastically. “Michael” Maria said gently placing a hand on his arm. “Clam down and let him explain.” Michael stiffened as he reached for Colin, the little boy looking back and forth between the two. Finally Adam stepped forward and took the little boy. “I don’t think he should be here for this, I’ll take him inside.” Max nodded sadly as he watched the little boy squirm, trying to get down. “No! Ouchy…No!” Adam sighed as he tried to hold onto the squirming child, yelping when Colin zapped him. “Colin!” Colin didn’t even look at Adam as he landed on his feet and ran to his father, clinging to his leg. He stared up at Michael with wide eyes. “Unca Mikey” he whispered. Michael knelt down to his level. “Buddy, you shouldn’t zap people, you know that isn’t nice.” Colin shook his head. “I don’t wanta go…don’t make me…puease don’t make me go.” Max knelt down next to him. “Colin, no one is going to make you go anywhere. I’ll be right here.” Colin shook his head. “NO!” he yelled, turning into Max he wrapped his arms around his neck and clung to him. Michael sighed as he stood. “Well then…” Max stood also with Colin in his arms. “Where is she Michael?” Michael just stared at him. “I don’t see how it is any of your business Max.” The group that had arrived with Max and Isabel gasped at Michaels straight out defiance of their king. “Michael…” Alex warned. Michael turned to them. “NO! I am not playing his game. He just picks up and leaves, not caring about Liz or the rest of us.” Max stepped toward him. “That’s not true Michael! I did it because I wanted to keep you safe!” Michael turned to him, pointing at him accusingly. “Keep us safe Max! That’s bull shit and you know it!” Michael scoffed. “You tell that to Liz every time we fought to keep her alive. Tell that to Colin every time the FBI tried to take him because Liz couldn’t get out of bed. Tell that to us, who stayed behind and waited. Waited for you Max!” “Jesus Christ Michael, lay off of him all ready. It wasn’t all roses for him either! I didn’t go all that way just so that you could have your testosterone fights. He’s here to help!” Michael smirked as he turned to her. “Yeah, what…he’s going to fuck her and then leave her just like he did last time. Fixing the problem for a short while, he doesn’t give a shit…never really did.” A small cry cut the argument short as they all turned to Colin as he buried him head in Max’s neck. “Mama!” He whimpered. The group was instantly surrounding Max. “Colin…” Adam said gently. Colin only shook his head. “Mama!” He cried as he turned wild eyes to look at them. “Michael!” Maria yelled. Michael stood still as he concentrated on Liz. “Shit!” He whispered. “What!” Max yelled. “Michael where is she?!” Michael looked at the group. “I don’t know…we got in an argument and she took off on Prince. Fuck…I knew I should have sent someone with her. Fucking Shit…” Before he could utter another word a car screeched to a halt. Jason and Jessa jumped out. “Where is she!” Jason yelled running toward them. “Michael, where is she!” Michael shook his head. “I don’t know! She took Prince for a run. What the hell is going on!” Jessa approached Colin. “Love…” she whispered brushing his bangs out of his eyes. Everyone gasped as they watched him amber eyes slowly turn to gold, then darken dramatically. “What’s going on!” Maria whimpered. “Colin…where’s Mama.” Jessa whispered calmly. Colin only stared at nothing as he clung to Max. Max’s own eyes turning a swirl of black as Colin pulled him into his connection with Liz. “There was a stranger in town today asking where Liz was. She wasn’t from the community. Something is going down and it’s happening right now, something big.” As soon as the words left Jason’s mouth a scream filled their heads. Making them all scream in agony as pain washed threw them all, throwing them to the ground.

Liz sighed as she relaxed into Princes gallop. His long strides carrying them to freedom. After about a half hour, she reigned him in. He snorted in protest but slowed him pace anyway. Sunny finally caught up, her tongue hanging out to the side in happiness. Liz stroked Princes neck, praising him. As they walked under the trees, Liz guided him off the trail leading them through the brush to the small stream that ran through the woods. She allowed herself to bask in the evening sun as Prince stood in the small stream, drinking it’s cool water. Liz was pulled out of her day dreams when Sunny barked at something in the distance, causing Prince to shy sideway. “What’s going on girl…” she asked the lab as she watched with concern as her hackles rose and she growled at something only she could see. Liz scanned the woods around her, fear prickling along her skin, causing her energy to jump. She nudged Prince out of the stream, turning him back the way they came. She felt eyes on her, and she didn’t like it. No one knew of this stream…at least she didn’t think they did. She only found it by chance on day when she wandered upon it by accident earlier that year. Calling for Sunny, she nudged Prince to go faster. When they made it to the trail, she kicked Prince into a canter as she heard crashing behind her. With a small whimper, she glanced behind her only to be thrown by an invisible force. With a yelp she flew from Prince’s back and hit a near by three, crashing to the ground. She groaned as she sat up, Sunny instantly by her side. Sunny licked her face, growling as she pranced around her. Liz looked around her, not seeing Prince she pulled Sunny’s head to her chest, clinging to the dog. “Sunny… what’s going on.” Sunny just whimpered as she crawled into her lap, trying to shield her owner. Liz’s attention was drawn up the path to where she could see a figure walking toward her. In a panic Liz pulled herself to her feet and took off down the path as fast as she could. Running for home. She tried to pull Michael to her, but was distracted by a yelp behind her. Turning her head, she let out a cry when her gaze fell upon her beloved dog twitching on the ground behind her. In the distance she heard a yell in a sing song voice . “There’s no point in running…you can’t get away.” A chocked sob left Liz’s chest as she continued to run. She was so far away from the farm…so far away from Michael. Tears blurred her vision as Liz tripped, giving her assailant the time to throw her again. Liz flew threw the air and landed on the ground with a thud. Liz groaned threw her sobs and tuned over on her back. *Michael…* she called with her mind, only to find nothing. Backing herself up against a tree, Liz lifted her shield around herself as she watched in horror as the figure made themselves known. “We meet again sweet Ariya.” She whispered. “Your shield will help you with nothing.” Liz let out a scream as she felt the power from her attackers energy hit her shield, flowing right threw it.

“MAMA!” Colin screamed as he picked himself up from the ground and took off running. “Colin!” Everyone yelled running after him. They watching in horror as Prince came charging into the yard, eyes wide, Colin right in his path. Max threw a shield around his son, causing Prince to rear up in fright, pawing at the blue dome. Jason quickly grabbed Princes reins, pulling him away from the small child. Max quickly wrapped his son in his arms, trying to sooth his hysterical cries. “Jason…what the hell is going on!” Michael yelled. “I should be asking you the same question Michael…open the damn connection!” Michael swore. “I can’t! She’s blocking me!” Jessa shook her head. “I don’t think it’s Liz that’s blocking it.” everyone turned to her. “What are you talking about?” Michael asked her. Jason sighed. “Max, can you feel her?” Max shook his head. “I could feel her a little earlier, but it was all…I don’t know. I could feel her but I could also feel that she couldn’t feel me.” Maria started to cry… “some one please tell me what’s going on!” she yelled. Finally Manika stepped forward. “Jason.” she acknowledged him, Jason nodded him head, looking past her to Rath. It was then that Jessa noticed him and gasped. Running toward him, she threw herself in his arms. Rath sighed as he wrapped his arms around the small women. “Jessabella.” he whispered. Michael watched wide eyed as him mother started sobbing uncontrollably. “Ok…” he started. “Someone PLEASE fill us in!” Max smiled. “Michael, he’s your father.” Michael was struck dumb and could only stand there as he met his father’s eyes. “Reunions later” Manika said. “We have to get your sister back.” She told Michael. Her words snapped him out of his shocked daze. “Sister? As in real sister?” Manika nodded her head. “That’s why the connection is there Michael. It’s a long story, it can wait until later. First…we have to find Liz.” Manika turned to Jason. “Kayla was none to happy when she heard about Liz, she tried to get me to help her in some scheme…I don’t know what it is because I told her I wanted nothing to do with it.” Max and Isabel gasped. “Kayla has her?” Manika nodded. “It’s either her or someone working for her, look….She wasn’t happy about Ariya and when she found out the Liz bears Ariya’s essence she kind of…I don’t know. She went on and on about how she got rid of her once she could do it again.” Max stared at her wide eyed as he listened to Manika talk. “Why didn’t you bring this to my attention sooner!” he demanded. Manika lowered her head. “I’m sorry your highness…but I didn’t think she would go through with anything.” Max turned away, rubbing Colin’s back smoothening as the small boy drifted to sleep, Max’s shirt soaked in his tears. “Ok…first off, we have to find her. Michael where does she go when she takes her rides?” He asked. Michael shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know Max, she would never tell me.” Max looked at him. “Are you telling me as her protector you let her wander off on her own?” Maria cut in noticing the rage that filled Michaels eyes. “Not now! Look, Prince came from that way…why don’t we just head in that direction.” Everyone nodded. “I know where she is.” a voice spoke up. Jason sighed as he turned to Adam. “What do you mean you know were she is?” Max spoke up. Adam glanced nervously at his father, Jason nodded for him to continue. “I sometimes follow her, there’s a stream at the edge of the property, it’s off the path. She goes there to relax.” Max was about to ask why he would follow but decided against it. “Fine.” He said. “You’ll take us there.” With that he headed into the house. “Michael, get the four wheelers from the barn.” Jason commanded. Adam and Michael took a few of Manika’s men and headed toward that barn. “There won’t be enough of them.” Alex spoke up. “Even if we double up, there won’t be enough.” Jason nodded at this. “I’ll take Queen.” Isabel said as she headed to the barn to get her mare ready. Maria nodded and followed suite, saddling her own chestnut gelding. Max attempted to put Colin down, but the small child wouldn’t have it as he clung tightly to Max’s shirt and whimpered. “Max” Jessa whispered. Max turned toward her. “Take the child with you.” Max shook his head. “We don’t know what we’ll find. I don’t want him to see this.” Jessa nodded in understanding. “She’s right.” Jason said. “He’s seen her in her worst, if Kayla is blocking your connection with Liz, you’ll need him to get that started. There’s no way she can block his connection with her.” Finally Max sighed. “Fine, but the first sign of trouble, I want him out of there.” Jason nodded in understanding. With that, he climbed on a four wheeler with Colin in his lap, nodding to Adam they were off.

Liz whimpered as she tried desperately to reach Michael. She could tell Colin was asleep and she was glad for that. She drifted in and out of consciousness trying her hardest to break free from where she was dangling. Her toes barely touching the ground as she twisted her wrists in their binds. Moving her head around, she tried desperately to see where her assailant was hiding, but found no one around her. Sending her energy out, she cried out as another energy blast hit her back, causing her skin to bubble as the heat swept through her. Finally with a cry, she gathered with little energy she had left and put up her shield, sobbing as the effort pained her. She could feel herself losing control as she fought the struggle within her. She knew she had plenty of power, but was terrified to let it all out. Soon though she felt herself drift to a place free of pain. A place where she could relax as her energy pulsed from her, causing the air around her to snap and crackle with her energy. Closing her eyes, she drifted away to this better place, unaware of the caravan that pulled up in the clearing or Max screaming her name as he ran toward her. She didn’t care, she was so tired, so exhausted and she knew if she just let go, she could escape the all the pain all the heart ace that threatened to consume her. As she drifted thoughts of Colin filled her mind. Groaning she fought. She couldn’t leave him, she loved him…he needed her. She fought the battle within her, half of her willing herself to let go, the other half wanting, no needing to stay for her baby. The half of her that wanted to let go told her that he would be taken care of, that Michael wouldn’t let anything happen to him. The other half fought those thoughts. Willing her to not let go, to be there to see him grow, to shield him from his enemies, from those who wanted to take him, use him, the FBI. His amber eyes haunted her, calling her as she felt him cry for her. With a cry she let it all out…the pain, the heart ace, the anger, her love for her family, her rage at the person who would do this to her, and the rage for those who wanted to hurt her son…she wouldn’t let them win, she couldn’t. Pain ripped through her body in a searing heat as she screamed before darkness took her world. She sighed as she let go, unaware of herself falling, her energy snapping the branch that had held her up, unaware that she hadn’t taken down her shield or the fact that no one could help her with it up.

Max pulled the four wheeler to a stop with a cry at the sight before him. Liz dangled from a tree, her toes barely grazing the ground. “LIZ!” He screamed running toward her. Her cloths were torn, the large cuts and burns evident on her skin as blood soaked what little fabric covered her body. He was just about to reach her when a shield went up, zapping him as he was thrown to the ground. With a groan he sat up, Michael came up and took Colin from him. Standing he checked to make sure Colin was all right. The small boy slept as if nothing had happened. Turning back to Liz he tried despratly to reach her only to be thrown back again and again as he was zapped. Laughter turned his attention away from Liz as the rest of the group gathered around him. “You think you can save her?” a voice asked. Stepping in front of Liz he glared at the figure that sat on a rock by the edge of the clearing.

“Kayla!” Jason growled walking forward. “How could you do this?” Max whispered as he stared at him mother. “How could I do this?!” She asked loudly. “I am doing you a favor! I’m cleaning up your damn mess is what I am doing.” Max shook his head. “What mess!” he shouted. “I love her!” Kayla smirked as she walked forward. “You also said you loved Ariya. God Zane! I don’t know how many times I have to tell you. She’s infiriour to you. She’s nothing!” Max growled as he advanced toward her, ignoring the shouts behind him. He threw up his shield right before Kayla threw a energy blast at him. “Don’t ever say that she is nothing…she is everything!” Kayla shook her head. “That’s where you are wrong son, your ruining our blood line! I won’t let you ruin generations of the purist blood because of some infatuation with a Zenith!” Jason walked toward her. “What are you afraid of Kayla, truly afraid of?” Kayla scoffed at him. “I am not afraid of anything.” Jason shook his head. “I don’t think that’s the case Kayla. I think your afraid of the power Zeniths hold.” Kayla smirked at him. “And your not little brother, this coming from a man who ran in fear. You saw what they are capable of. You watched as Kivar took over our home with a wave of his hand. Can you really stand there and tell me that your not afraid of how psychotic Zeniths are? I mean, what’s to say that Ariya is nothing like Kivar?” Jessa came and stood next to her brother. “Kayla, listen to yourself. Not all Zeniths are like Kivar, you know that. Kivar was crazy and yet you killed an innecent girl because of your fear. How could you?” Kayla walked closer. “I could because I am trying to protect my son. Ariya only wanted power, just like Kivar, only she tried to weasel her way in. Kivar tried the same thing, only he wasn’t counting on Vilandra turning on him the last second. They used my childrens love to gain power! I was not going to sit there and do nothing!” Tears ran down Max’s cheeks as he listened to them talk. “Liz would never do that!” he whispered. Kayla laughed. “When did your precious Liz pay attention to you Zane. Don’t tell me, I already know the answer. When you told her who you were. Don’t think I am blind, she paid no attention to you until after you saved her. Am I right?” Slowly Max lowered his shield.

“Don’t listen to her!” Maria screamed fighting desperately to escape Adam’s grip from where he was holding her back. “Max! Don’t listen to her! Liz noticed you a long time before that, but she never knew! She felt the same way you did…why didn’t you go to her sooner!” She screamed. “Max, she loves you1 You have to hold on to that! Remember what you wrote her! ’don’t let hope fail you!’” Maria finally broke free and ran to stand in front of Max. “Max!” She whispered, pulling his gaze down to hers. “Your what has kept her going these past couple of years, your words have helped her hold on. Don’t listen to her. Liz has loved you forever just like you loved her. She was just to shy to let you know. You know this is here!” She placed her hand over his heart. “You have to feel it in here Max, please don’t let her win!” Tears ran down Maria’s cheeks as Max focused on her words. “No!” He whispered hoarsely, “I won’t listen to you!” he said as he turned his gaze back on Kayla. Kayla only laughed. “It doesn’t matter if you do or not son, my will is already done. As her energy goes, she will die and she will take that mud blood of a son with her!” Max gave a strangled cry as he turned to his son laying in Michaels arms. It was then that he noticed how pale he was. Rushing over he scooped the child into his arms holding him close.

“Colin” he whispered. “Colin you have to hold on…please don’t let go.” Everyone watched in awe as Colin opened his eyes, their pale gold hue glowing in the failing twilight. Panting softly he whispered “mama” with that he once again closed his eyes. A scream pierced the air around them as Max turned horrified eyes to Liz. Her body started to glow in a shirring white light, heat pierced the air as it rushed them. Max was thrown back, clutching his son to his chest as he landed on his back. A thunderous snap was heard and everyone watched horrified as Liz fell to the ground with a sickening thud. Her blue shield shining brightly around her as she lay on the ground. Everyone looked around them dazed. “What just happened?” Adam whispered. “She did it again.” Alex whispered. “Did what again?” Jason asked as he stood, helping Jessa up from the ground. “You one asked me how she killed Kivar, well you just witnessed it. I’ll bet you’ll only find a pile of ashes where Kayla once stood.” Alex told him. Sure enough, as everyone turned to where Kayla had stood, a pile of ashes were all that was left. “We don’t have much time!” Yelled Rath as he ran for the group of teens. Everyone tuned to Liz, tears ran down Max’s cheeks as he desperately tried to get to her. “Max” Jason called out to him. Max turned to the older man. “You have to connect with Colin to reach her, he’s already there with her, it’s the only way past the shield.” Max nodded as he looked down at his son. Sitting on the ground he placed Colin laying in his lap. Running his hands through Colin’s soft black hair he opened the connection, right away he was in.

The place he found himself in was so peaceful. Not to hot and not to cold. The soft wind rippled the tall grass that surround him. As he looked around he spotted Liz holding Colin in her lap, both staring up at the clouds above. He could hear her soft voice as she talked with their son. Colin turned his head in Max’s direction. “Look Mama!” he said. Liz tuned her head and stared at Max. She gave him a small smile as she stood, holding onto Colin’s hand she walked toward him. She stopped in front of him. Max gave her a small smile before pulling her to him, crushing her in his arms. “I’ve missed you!” he choked out. Liz wrapped her arms around his waist. “Not as much as I miss you.” she whispered. At her words he pulled back. He stared into her eyes. “Liz, you have to bring down you shield. I can’t get to you if your shield is up.” Liz looked at him oddly. “What are you talking about Max. look around you, there is no shield. Your right here with me and Colin and now we can be happy.” Max shook his head. “No Liz, this isn’t real…you have to wake up sweetness, you have to let me in.” Tears ran down Liz’s cheeks. “I don’t want to wake up, because when I do, you won’t be there with me and I will once again be all alone…I can’t do it anymore Max, I need you with me.” Max gave her a small smile. “Sweetness, I will be right there when you wake up, do you trust me?” He asked gently. Liz nodded her head. “I trust you with my life.” Max gently captured her lips with his. Liz moaned as she leaned into the kiss, wanting more but Max pulled back. “Then trust me with this Liz, let down your shield.” Liz closed her eyes as she felt Colin squeeze her hand. “It’s Ok now Mama….you can wake up now.” Liz let out a small sob as her world slowly disappeared around her and Max faded from her sight.

Everyone watched as Liz convulsed on the ground, her shield shimmering before it slowly faded. Max opened his eyes slowly, seeing Liz twitch in front of him he quickly handed Colin to the nearest person and crawled to her. Gently lifting her head, he eased it into his lap. He hovered over her, gently brushing her hair out of her face. “Liz!” he whispered. He looked up at the group in front of him. “I don’t know what to do!” He sobbed. “I don’t know how to fix her!” A lonely wail erupted from his throat as he leaned his head against her. “I’m so sorry!” he sobbed. “I’m so sorry, God Liz please Sweetness, open your eyes. Please love…I’m so sorry for leaving you! Please open your eyes…don’t leave me here!” He held her tightly to him, not noticing her arm as it snaked around his neck. “Max” Liz whispered weakly. Jason noticed that Max was to hysterical to notice Liz’s weak movements. “Max!” He shook his nephews shoulder. Max looked up at his Uncle, it was then that he noticed that Colin was awake and alert. He snapped his gaze back down to Liz’s face to find her smiling weakly up at him. With a shout of joy, he gathered Liz up in his arms, kneeling on the ground. She gave a whimper of pain as he crushed her to him. With a guilty smile, he laid her back down and healed the worst of her injuries. Colin wiggled out of Isabel’s grasp and ran for his mother. He peaked at her over his fathers shoulders and was rewarded with a big smile. “Thank you buddy!” Liz told her young son. Groaning she sat up stiffly. Max helped her to her feet and wrapped a protective arms around her waist before lifting Colin clumsily in the other arm. Colin didn’t mind though as he placed a kiss on his cheek. Liz turned to face him. “Are you really here? I mean, like here and now or am I still out and dreaming this…but then my body wouldn’t hurt so much…” She trailed off as Max captured her lips in a sizzling kiss. Colin placed a hand on each of his parents heads as he looked on, causing intense flashes to occure. Jason looked on fondly as the healing process began. The need for air brought them apart. “No Love, I am really here. And I will always be here, never again will I leave you.” Liz smiled up at him with tears in her eyes. “Lets go home Max, I just want to go home.” Max smiled gently down at her. Takeing her hand, he lead her to one of the four wheelers. Sitting Liz and Colin in front of him, he headed for home, leaving the rest of the group watching as the young family disappeared into the failing twilight.

TBC... I don't know when I'm going to be able to do another part. Lord knows I didn't have a regular posting time for this fic. I may end up putting it into a sequal about how Max and Liz's realtionship works out and Max getting to know his son. I'll let you know....
