Chapter Six

There was a knock on the door as Isabel jumped up to get it. She wearly opened the door but then woke up when she saw the look on Max's face. "She's here!" he said in shock. "Who is?" Isabel said seeing the look of fear in her brothers eyes. "Tess" Max cried. "What Tess but she is dead?' Isabel said in aw. "No she not dead! Tess is here in the house." Max said in a shallow whisper. "Where is she?" Isabel said with concern. "She is in my room she is hurt really bad. Come on." Max said taking Isabel hand running towards his room.

Isabel bent down to the entangled body laying on the floor. "Here help me Max." She said as she lifted Tess up from the floor while Max grabbed her legs. "Take her to the bathroom so I can get her cleaned up" Isabel said as they both carried her body across the hall. "Shh we have to be quite Mom and Dad are asleeep we don't want to wake them" Max said in a whisper as they opened the bathroom door.

Isabel lay Tess on the floor and started to draw a bath. "Max can you go and get me some towels and some pajmas in my room. " Isabel said. "Sure" Max said as he ran into Isabels room. with in a few seconds he was back with two towels and some pink PJ's. "Thanks. I'll take it from here." Isabel said as she took the towels and closed the door.

Max stood in the dark hall way still in shock as to what happened. It was a nightmare he keeped on saying to himself "I'll wake up soon and it will all be over." He whispered to himself as a mixture of emotions flooded him. he was scarded that Tess was back after all she did kill Alex and tried everything in her power to break him and Liz up with her mindwarps.

God Max even sleepted with her as a resullt of them. However he still was concerned about her safty. He never wish harm to come to her she was always loyal and stuck by him. However he never loved her not in that way. Liz was the only one who had his heart. Max then croached down on the floor in frount on the bathroom door scared and afraid while tears filled his eys as waited until his sister to finish cleaning Tess up.

Isabel took off Tess's torn and dirty cloths and placed them on the counter she then eased her into the hot bath. Tess sighed but was still slipping in and out of conscience. " God what happened to you." She whispered to Tess. It looks as through you have been drugged." Isabel said to herself while she took a wash cloths and rubbed it with soap while she cleaned Tess's wonds.

Tess and Isabel had been close for sometime Isabel was the first friend Tess made at West Roswell High School when she moved to Roswell with Nascado. Isabel had liked Tess becasue she could relate to her in terms of what it was like to not belong being popular and always having guys hit on her. However Isabel became cautious when she saw that Tess was watching her, Micheal, and Max and their every move especially that of her brother.

Later they all learned that Tess was infact an Alien and one of the four who had been sent with Isabel, Max, and Micheal to earth in the 1947 crash and had been in the incubation pods with them in the Granolith chamber loacted in a huge pointed triangel cave in the Roswell desert.
However Tess had taken longer to be born so it took 16 years to find her again.

Isabel did save Tess's life once when a skin named Congress Whitaker had caputred her. Isabel had saved Tess killing Whitaker in the process. However Isabel wasn't too fond of Tess after she learned that she killed the only man Alex she ever loved. However seeing her in this state she could help but let her heart cry out to her. After all she was at one point her friend and one of her kind

She then went and got a picture and filled it with water and placed it beside her. Isabel then took some shampoo and lathered up Tess's hair before cleaning it with the filled picture of water. Isabel cared for Tess like a mother would a baby. Once she was clean. She helped Tess out of the bath and dried her naked body.

Once she was dry she helped her into the clean and comfortable pajamas. She then lifted Tess to her feet and drapped an arm around her for her to lean on while she walked her to the door. Isabel could of sowrn she heard Tess whisper "Thank you Isabel." but she wanst sure.

In a few minutes the bathroom door swong open and Max jumped to his feet seeing the sereal sight before him he helped Isabel dragg her across the hall. "Max she has to stay with you my room is too far way I think she was dugged? I think she can't hold up much longer." Isabel said with a concerened tone. "OK" Max said as they dragged Tess into Max's room and into his bed. Max helped her under the covers she gave out a small sigh saying "Thank you" and with in seconds she was fast sleep.

Max and Isabel staired at fragel creater in frount of them for awhile still in aw as to what just happened. "Do you think she will be ok?" Max asked in a cautious tone. "Yeah I think so. Sleep and rest will help her for now." Isabel said in a whisper still staring at Tess's sleeping body in the moonlight.

Max then went to get his sleeping bag from the closet and placed it on the floor next to the bed. "Isabel is it ok that I leave I have to get to Liz. I need her." he said as fear and concern filled his eyes. Isabel could see his brothers need as gave him a hug. "Sure I'll stay here with Tess until you get back. Tell Liz not to worry and stay strong we will get through this." Isabel said as tears filled her eyes."Be safe." And with that Max climbed out of his window into the night.

Chapter Six continued

The light sinned in Liz's room as her and Maria sat cross legged on her bed eating Ben and Jerry's vanellia ice cream. "Wow I still can't believe all this is happening I mean that I am actually here in your room again sharing a night with Ben and Jerry." Maria said as she took a bit full of ice cream. "I know can you believe this whole Alex thing I mean it's so shocking I can't believe he is alive.

I did some research on Robert Frost that Isabel had ask me too only thing was I didn't find any information that would connect to finding Alex." Liz said as she dug into the pint for another scoop. "Don't worry knowing this crowd I am sure we will find something." Maria said laughing. "Yeah I am sure we will."

"I talked to Kyle the other day he seems to be hanging in there. He is so excited about finding Alex as well but he is still upset abaout losing Tess. I am sure he will be ok." Liz said with a concered look. " Yeah I am sure he will I mean it's Kyle he is strong so I am sure he will be ok I mean we have been through a lot these past few days. "Maria said looking at Liz with caring eyes. "I am sure you are right.

"So how is Micheal?" Liz asked. "Oh Micheal is fine yeah through it's a little scary how much he and my mom have bonded. he is going to see if he can get his old Apt back which will be nice and he might even go back to West Roswell High and gratuate!!!" Maria said in shock. "Wait Micheal gratudating thats great!!! Wow that would be something. I am glad things are well with you too. I mean I know how hard it was for you two at times but I have seen you guys get really close this past month esp on the road and thats great." Liz said smiling at her friend.

Maria smiled "Yeah it is, god he drives me crazy sometimes but I love him." She said with a huge smile. "So how is Max?" Maria asked Liz as she took another bit of ice cream. "Oh Max yeah he is great." Liz sighed I still can't believe we are married and finally together after all we have been through it's amazing I never felt so happy. Liz said beaming.

Maria smiled. "Thats great Liz so how is he?" Maria said as her eye brow arched upward. Liz stared at her "I just told you Maria he is fine." Liz said looking at her friend as if she was crazy. "I ment in bed Liz." Maria said laughing. Liz could feel her face turn three shades of red all at once.

"Maria I can't believe you just asked that." She cried all embarrassed. "Sorry I was just wondering I bet he is good though right." Maria said laughing. Liz smiled and from the look on her face Maria knew what she was thinking. "He is I knew it." Maria said laughing. Liz jumped up from the bed. "Oh my god I can't believe we are having this conversation. OK so if you must know judgeing from that one time yes he is! Ok happy now!" Liz cried all flustered while Maria sat there laughing the whole time. Maria then jumped up "Wait Elizabeth Parker I don't believe that you and Maxwell Evans only did it once!! There has to be more then that one time?" Maria said in shock.

Liz sat back down on the bed and looked up at her friend. "No Maria thats the truth we only made love once on our wedding night I know that sounds crazy being it's me and Max but it's the truth we just never had the time I mean with running away from the FBI this past month and then being home. I mean we didn't even have a honeymoon." Liz said as she looked in the eyes of her friend. Liz then smiled I mean we will have our night eventually I mean who knows it might even be tonight you never know with us." she said laughing.

Maria smiled and then laughed. "Sorry I asked I am sure you two will. If it makes you feel any better Micheal and I haven't either." She smiled and then gave her friend a hug. "Wow it;s so nice to be home and to talk like this again. I missed this Liz.I amso happy we are safe again." Maria said as she squeezed her friend tight. "I feel the same way." Liz said as they broke form there hug.

Liz then took the container and spoons from the bed and headed towards her door. Her and Maria headed downstares to the kitchen as Liz placed the container of Ice cream in the freezer and the spoons in the sink. "Wow it's late I better get back. I don't want to face the rath of my mom if you know what I mean." Maria said as she looked at the clock. " yeah it is late. Boy am I tired. Liz said as she and Maria made there way to the frount doors of the crashdown.

"Thanks again for comming over Maria." Liz said smiling. "Any time I mean who do you think you are dealing with here" Maria said as she pointed to herself.

She then opened the dark wooden door and turned to Liz "Oh yeah and If Romeo should happen to stop by for any reason tonight do what Juliet did and sease the moment ok!" Maria said smiling and the she shoting “O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?...Come gental night and bring me thy Romeo!"

Liz started pushing Maria begging her to stop. "Ok OK thats enough! You made your point! That's enough! Please stop!" Liz said as the blush creapted over her face turing it a deep red embarrassed by her friends antics.

Maria laughed and then said "Alright! Alright! Sweet dreams Liz." She then bowed to her friend as she walked out the door. “Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say good night till it be morrow." Maria said dramaticly as she walked into the dimmly lighted street as Liz closed the door behind her shacking her head.

Liz smiled as she made her way through the blue diamond back door and climbed the stairs up to her room. She opened the door and quickly changed into her red night gown. She then brushed her teeth and got ready for bed.

Liz made her way to her bed and pulled the covers down as she climbed her tired body into bed. She pulled the clover up over her and turned out her light and with in a few seconds she was fast sleep.

Chapter Six continued

A cool breeze whipped past Liz's brown hair causing it to blow softly in the moonlight she let out a small sigh as she sank deeper into sleep.
Max ran until he saw the huge flying sauser in frount of him as the Crashdown Cafe came into sight. He quickly made his way up the fire escape on to Liz's balcony. He could see her bedroom window was open so he quitly climbed into her room.

He stood there frozen as he watched Liz sleeping peacefully. He then made his way onto her bed and gently brushed her cheek with his hand. Liz's eyes blinked open as she reached up with her hand and slowly touched Max cheek. She could tell by the wetness of it that he had been crying.

She sat up in bed and whispered " Max whats wrong." as she looked at him with concerned eyes. Max could feel his thoat getting dry he gulped and then said "Liz Tess is back." as a look of fear filled his eyes. "What Max she is dead I was there when she killed herself I saw the Special unit buliding blow up with my own eyes!." Liz said now more awake. Max looked at her trying to find the words.

"No Liz she is alive she is at my house in my room sleeping. Isabel is with her. She looked badly hurt. Isabel said she might even of been drugged." Max said still in shock he was telling Liz this. "Believe me I wasn't sure if I shoud of blasted her right then and there but then I looked at her she looked like she was in so much pain. I am so scared. I though this was over with. I didn't know where to go so I came here." Max said as tears filled his eyes.

Liz stood there in shock as her heart dropped hearing the news about Tess being alive. Never had she thought she would return. "Wow this is all too confusing. First Alex and now Tess." Liz said as her thoughts drifted. She then looked at Max as fear took over his face. "God if I lose you again Liz I don't know what I will do." He said as tears ran down his cheeks. "Shh Max come her." Liz said as she pulled him closer to him and placed a passionate kiss on his lips. "Your not going to lose me. No matther what I will always be there right beside you I will find a way to be with you." Liz said as she cressed Max's face in her hands.

"I love you Liz." Max said as he kissed her. they stayed like that for awhile until they broke form there kiss." I need you." Max said as he whispered into Liz's ear sending a shiver up and down her spin at the sound of his voice. "I want our souls to be one. I want to love you. I miss you. Please Liz let me love you." He said as he started to nibble at her ear. Liz sighed. "Then take me Max I am all yours.Let me heal you and love you." Liz said as she started to gently kiss Max's eyes, then she kissed his nose, and finally she kissed his lips passionaly as she slowly unbottoned his shirt.

Max's shirt fell to the floor exposing his chest as Liz's eyes windened with desire at the sight she saw. Max then slowly started kissing her futher and futher down her neck while he lowered the straps of her red satin gown until it was off her exposing her nacked body. He threw her gown to the floor as they kissed passionaty. "Oh Liz" Max groaned with each sensation he felt when he touched her. "I missed you so" He said huskly as his hands ran through her hair. "I missed you as well" Liz sighed as she slowly started to unzip Max's paints.

She then pulled his jeans off his body as they fell to the floor while they passionatly kissed each other. She then teased him and shapped the top of his boxers. "Ouch that hurt." Max said playfully. "Sorry Mr. Evans I didn't know you were the hurting type. " Liz said laughing. "No I am just the glowing type." Max said as he took Liz's arm and using his powers made it glow in the moonlight. Liz smiled "I love you" She whispered. "I'll be more gental this time." She smiled as she slowly pulled his boxers off exposing the rest of his body.

They stopped and staired at each other at the beautful sight they both saw before them as they gazed at their naked bodies in the moonlight. Max then pulled the covers down and placed Liz on the bed while he got into the bed next to her.

He then placed the covers over then as he hovered over the tiny body. "I don't want to hurt you." he said shly as he staired into her deep dark eyes. Liz looked up at him and smiled. "You won't hurt me. I trust you." She whispered as she kissed him. Max held Liz in a long embrase....

"Oh my god they are coming" Tess screamed as Isabel woke with a jolt. She ran to Tess's side. "Don't let then get me" she whispered. "Who?' Isabel said as she held Tess. "Please don't let then get me." Tess whispered as her and Isabel rocked back and forth.

"Shh it's just a dream you are safe now." Isabel whispered. She held Tess for a long time as tears streamed down her cheeks as she slipped in and out of conscience.

Isabel dried her eyes and held her until she was fast sleep again. She placed the covers over her ."God what happened to you. She whispered "Shh you are safe now! Go to sleep. Dream Sweet dreams." Isabel said as she leaned in and kissed her fore head. She then chouched down into the sleeping bag before falling asleep again.

"Oh my God Max don't stop!" Liz cried as her body arched in the moonlight. Max held her close as he moaned. "Liz" God if she only knew what she did to him. They both then kissed each other passionatly as their orgaism ripped through there body.

"Max!" Liz groned as her body pulsed with each sensation. "Liz" Max cried as they both fell on top of each other and on to the bed. "I love you" Max said breathly as Liz listened to the pounding of his heart beat. "I love you" She whispered breathlessly.

"Stay with me tonight." Liz sighed. "I will but we have to get to Isabel before sunrise." Max said sleeply. "OK." Liz yawned. Max leaned down and kissed her. "You are amazing." He sighed as he looked down at Liz who was already fast sleep.Max sighed and closed his eyes and soon the both of them were in a peaceful sleep.

Chapter Seven

Liz opened her eyes as the rays of early morning peaked through her window. She sighed and looked up at Max who was staring at her. "Morning" she whispered as she kissed him. "Sleep well?" Max said smiling as he squeezed her tight. "Yes I did." She whispered and then got up from the bed. "I'll be right back." Liz said as she put her bathrob on and turned to Max. "Where are you going." Max asked couriously. "You see." Liz said smiling and in the blink of an eye she was gone.

Max sat while his eyes gazed in a dazed look as to where Liz had just been a few seconds ago. He sighed if she only knew what she did to him. "I am so lucky." He thought to himself remembering the night before and how they made love.

In a few seconds Liz was back. "Close your eyes."she whispered loudly Out side the door. She waited until Max's eyes were closed then made her way towards the bed. Max sat up in bed with his hands over his face. "Can I look now" he said smiling. "Not yet and no peaking. Ok open your eyes. Max opened his eyes and saw a tray of hot coffee, toast and strawberries in frount of him. "Wow what is this for." He said in shock at sight in frount of him. "Well I figured that breakfast in bed was just the thing to celebrate our home coming." Liz said as she leaned in and gave him a kiss.

"I know It's not much. But it's what i could find this early in the morning with out waking everyone." Liz said smiling as she took a piece of toast. "No Liz this is great." Max said as he took a sip of coffee. "Thank you Liz." Max said smiling. "It's about 5 I figured that would give you plenty of time to get home to Isabel." Liz said as she and Max shared a piece of toast.

Max had forgotten all about Isabel staying with Tess last night. he had been too caught up with Liz to remember. "Yeah that will be fine. I hope Izz is ok." He said taking a strawberrie. I'm sure she is." Liz said concered. Max then feed the strwberrie to Liz. "Um sweet" she said as she eat the berrie.

They finished their breakfast. "We better get going.No time to shower I guess?" Liz said as she went to take the tray to bring it down stairs. " No you can take one at my house if you want." Max said. "Or we can just take one together to save time?" Liz said innocently. "OK." Max said in shock as to what he just heard. "OK let me bring this down stairs. I'll shall return." Liz smiled. "I'll be wating." Max whispered.

The warm water felt good against Liz's body as her and Max stood in the hot shower. "This is so weird but exciting." Max said shly not knowing what to say as two of them both reached for the soap. They laughed nerviously. "You first Max I insist." Liz said. "No Lady's first." He smiled and then he had an idea.

"Here let me have it." he said as he took the soap from her hand. Max took the soap and created a lather in his hands and then started to clean Liz's body. Liz laughed. "Max you really don't have to do this." She said smiling. "I know but I want to." Max said as he pulled her close and kissed her. "So much for saving time." Liz laughed.

Max smiled as he rinsed her body clean. He then went to get some shapoo and washed her long brown hair. "Thanks" Liz said after she was clean. "Now it's your turn." She smiled taking the soap from him. Liz cleaned Max and then kissed him. "Your all done." She smiled. "Not yet." Max said as he pulled Liz in for a long passionate kiss while the steam of the hot shower englufed them.

They then got quickly dressed. "Thanks I think that was the best shower I ever had." Max said breathlessly. "Your welcome anytime." Liz sighed. She then took his hand as he lead her through the window and on to her balcony.

They then desened the fire escape on to the pavement. "Liz squeezed Max's hand and lookig into his eyes " Remember we create our own destiny! Don't worry we will get through this." Liz said softly. Max leaned down and kissed her. "I know we will." He whispered. And with that they walked hand in hand towards the Evans house.

Chapter Seven Continued

Tess open her eyes as Max helped her up onto the proped pillows. "Here drink this it will help you gain your strength back." Max said as he handed Tess the glass. She took it wearly and drank before handing it back to him. Max placed it onto the night stand next to her. "Max where is Zan? I want to see my son." Tess said wearly.

Zan was both Tess and Max's child that had resulted from when her and Max slepted together one night in the observatory after Alex had died. However Max was mindwarped by Tess and never knew what was happening or going on that fateful night of passion.

"Zan is safe don't worry. He was adopted last month by a very nice family my parents told me." Max said as he looked at her with cautious eyes. Her fever was still pretty high and Max took a small wet wash cloth wipping her fore head of the beads of sweat that were forming there.

"You had a rough night I head. Isabel told me. Tess what happened to you?" Max asked as he looked into her glazed eyes. Tess closed her eyes and let out a depth breath. She then opened them and Max could see the look of fear in her eyes. She then slowly opened her mouth and in a very soft tone whispered the words "The White Room. I was placed in the White Room."

She said as her breath became staggered. Max stood in shock as she begain to tell of the fateful night she blew up the Special Unit.

"After I talked to Liz I walked through the gates. I entered the building and searched until I found the file room. It was easy to locate alright all the security guards were by it. I then used up every single ounce of energy to blow up the building with a mind warp. I thought the blast from it would of killed me however it didn't.

I lay unconscience for I don't know how long. When I opened my eyes there was a huge fire people were running everywhere trying to escape. I tried with all of the strength I had left to pick myslef up off the ground thats when I felt the blow of cold concrete againts my skin as the Special Unit FIB Security knocked me down and captured me.When I woke I found myself in a white room strapped down to a steal bed and stripped of my cloths only wearing scrubs.

Tess's eyes were wide with horror as tears filled them. Once I was there I was tourchered. They tried to cut me open and they probed me with the strange machine on my head trying to see how my mindwarp worked. When they weren't satificed with that they then started drugging me to weaken my powers and placed me in a clold dark room for research. I tired everything I could to escape but I was too weak from the drugs. For days I sat there in that room wishing I could just die.

Finally one day I remembered how Nascado had escaped so many years ago. So I planned my rought for my escape I had it all worked out except for one thing my mindwarp had to work. I found new ways to save my energy.I did small thing mind retrevial tricks until I was ready. I waited until it was dark out and after the guard had locked me in my cell for the night thats when I did it right before he shut the door.

They all though I was sleeping when I really was in the underground passage ways until I saw it the beam of moonlight out side the tunnal. For days I ran until I was in the woods one night and I saw the huge royal V in the sky it was then I knew that you were still alive. I didn't know what to do or where to go so that is why I showed up here."

Tess finished her horrible tale as Max looked at her in shock. he staired at her for a few seonds and then tears filled his eyes as memorys flashed back to the tourcher he had experienced in the White Room so long ago. Micheal, Tess, Isabel and Nacado has saved him that day but it was Liz who was his true savior she is what kepted him alive and made him fight for a way out. Max brushed a few tears from his face and whispered "I am so sorry" Tess looked up and him

"You know I never asked for any of this Nacado was my guardian and I was his little princess or at least thats what I had to be the perfect child. How I hated him for it and everthing he stood for. He was a killer and would enforce the same morals on to me. "It dosn't matter who sufferes or dies as long as you get home." He would say to me.

He told me that if anything ever happened to him that I was to follow through with Kaivar instruction for the pack he made with him 40 years ago to bring the royal 4 home with Max's unborn son no matter what the cost.

I never ment to hurt or even kill Alex I hated myself for it but I was told that in the end I was to be rewarded for my efforts. No instead I was shunned a pon once I reached Kivar and he found that I didn't deliver the three of you and that Zan was human. So I was sent back.

However I was not recieved well here either. I figured being I was the one who had killed and had hurt so many. It was only natural that you all wanted me dead I wanted me dead. So when I heard you were being hunted doen by the FBI and there were files on you all I figured I would go and destroy them for you killing myself in the process. You know go out doing something finally right with my life but no I had to suffer fo that as well and now here I am drugged with a high fever and all alone.

She said sobbing as tears fell down her cheeks. Max hugged her rubbing her hair. "Shhh it's ok. Shhh you are safe. You are home." Tess laied down on the pillow while Max wipped her tears with the wash cloth. "Tess don't ever think that you are worthless." He whispered. Max looked at the frail helpless creature on the bed in frount of him as she slipped in and out of conscience as her fever grew.

"Max I want you to know that you are so lucky oh so lucky you found love. The love you always searched to find. You found it in Liz. Tess said as she looked at Max's wedding band ring on his fingure. She smiled "Thats all I wanted to find someone to love me. I never knew what Love was. I now know you can't beg for it or use people to get it. It is stronger and deeper then that.

Thank you for last night and how you took care of me. I nerver asked you to but you and Isabel did. Thank you. I am so blessed to have found the six of you again. Tess reached her hand up to Max's cheek and dragged her hand across it before it fell back down to her side. "Thank you for everthing."

Max looked into Tess eyes there was so much hurt and pain inside of them yet so much hope and strength. He squeezed her hand. "Get some rest." Max whispered. Tess closed her eyes and in a few minutes was fast sleep.

Chapter Seven Continued

Max made his way downstairs were Liz and Isabel were sitting at the kitchen table. "How is she?" Liz asked with a cautious tone. "Not good her fever is rising and she is starting to get the shakes as a result of the drugs." Max said as he sittiing down next to Liz. Isabel looked at him for a few minutes taking a sip of coffee.

"Max what happened to her? She was up most of the night having terrible nightmares. I was so worried." Isabel said looking at her brother with concerned eyes. "Isabel you were right she was drugged." What do you mean Max she was drugged?" Isabel said as fear took over her eyes. Tess was captured the night of the explosion and was placed in the white room.

They tourched her there and placed her into a dark room for testing. Her mindwarp was draned cause of the drugs. However she gained her strengh back a little bit at a time until she escaped. She ran and hid out in the woods until she saw the royal V in the sky. Max said looking at Isabel as her eyes widened.

"Max that was the signal that Micheal and I sent out to Alex trying to reach him." Isabel said in shock. Max continued telling the story it was then she knew we were alive. So she came here to the only place she knew she could go to."

Max said as he finished the story. Both Isabel and Liz stood in aw as to what they just heard. "Oh my God Max Tess was in the white Room" Liz whispered softly remembering the last words she had said to Tess that night before she walked away "Hey, Tess. You're not gonna let them throw you in the White Room, are you?" She remember how Tess smilied and answered "No" before she walked out of the car and threw the gates.

"Max is she ok. Never in my life did I wish that tourcher on anyone especially not Tess. But how do we know she is telling the truth?" Liz asked Max looking into his deep amber eyes. Max turned and looked at Liz and then Isabel he paused before answering.

"Look I know that Tess had lied and used us in the past. I am not jumping to her side by saying this, but seeing her up there weak and draned I realised that she was not faking this what she told me was real and I believe her." Max said as he reached down and squeezed Liz's hand remembeing the words Tess had told him about finding the love he had searched for in her.

Liz and Isabel I want you to know that we are safe. She is not a threat to any of us." Max said as he looked at Liz with loving eyes. "She nearly died out there in the woods but I think there was a reason wy she lived and that she found us again." Max said as he smiled at Isabel and then Liz.

"We have to tell the others they are not going to believe this." Isabel said amazed at the past events frm last night. "I'll call Maria,Micheal, Valentie, and Kyle. " Liz said as her thoughts wondered " I guess Klyes prayers were answered he is going to be she happy" Liz thought to herself as she looked at Max and Isabel.

"Maybe she can help us Max?" Isabel said as she reached for her brothers hand across the tabel. She squeezed it as tears filled her eyes. "Isabel what is it?" Max said softly. "Do you remeber how I told you Micheal and I went into the woods that night?" Isabel said as her eyes widened in aw. "Well I had a vision of Alex in the woods by the lake there were voices and then he started running. I wonder if that was the FBI chasing after Tess that I heard? Maybe she can tell us about where Alex is!" Isabel said all excited.

Liz looked at her and smiled. "Isabel I am not sure maybe but Tess is still recovering from the drugs. Give her a few days and we shall see. The best thing we can do for her now is to let her rest." Max said as he made his way towards the counter.

"Isabel you look exhausted." Liz said as she staired at the bags under her eyes. "I am." Isabel yawned getting up from the tabel. "Izz go to sleep and get some rest you have done enough for one night. Thanks." Max said giving her a hug. "Anytime." Isabel said sleeply as she made her way towards the stairs. "I am going to bed. Good night." And with that she headed up the stairs towards her bedroom.

Liz sat at the table looking at her empty coffee cup. She then got up and placed it into the sink then wrapped her arms around Max's waist. " I still can't believe this is happening it seems so unreal." Liz said as Max rubbed her back. "I know." He whispered.

"Max can we really trust her?" Liz said as she held on to him tight. "Come here" Max said as he then moved Liz's arms so that he was facing her and looked down into her deep brown eyes. "Liz I want you to know that we are safe. It's over! Nothing will come between us not even Tess." He whispered with all of the love and devotion he had for her with his voice.

"Hearing Tess talk about the white room made all of those painful memories surface in my mind again as to when I was there, but thats when I realised that I was so lucky to have found you. You make me feel alive. It was the only way I survived the white room. You loved me and taught me what love is and I am gratful for that. I love you." Max said as he cupped Liz's face in his hands.

Tears filled Liz's eyes. "Oh Max..." But before Liz could say another word Max leaned in and touched her lips enginiting the sparks inside them with a long and tender passionate kiss.

Chapter Eight

Isabel shut the door to her room and made her way to her stero. being she had such a rough night taking care of Tess she thought that some music would help her sleep. She plopped on her bed exhausted and closed her eyes as the soothing tones of Beth Orton filled her room. With in a few moments she was fast sleep.

The song "Stars All Seem to Weep" filled her room as Isabel sank deeper into her dreams.

Stay true to the things I knew when I was younger,
When food and love was all there left to hunger.
It's when I stray from that truth as I grow older,
Too much leaves an empty hollow hunger.

Isabel was in an old 1940's night club as she sat at the bar dressed in a long red dress while she listened to the music of Beth Orton playing in the background. She sat there drinking her martinie until she could feel a hand apon her sholder. "Would the lady care for a dance" the voice said from behind her as she turned to see who it was dressed in a tux. "Alex." Her face light up at the sight of him giving him a great big hug. "Hm it's so good to see you. How are you?" Alex smiled. "I'm great now that you are here" Alex said as he embrased her. They held each other tight. "So Isabel how about that dance." Alex said as he looked to the dance floor and then back to her with loving eyes as he extended his arm to her. "I would love to! Shall we." She said as she took his hand and arm in arm they made their way to the dance floor.

"I think about you on a moon lit night and the stars all seem to weep.
When there's so much love to lose there's never any time for sleep.
Look at me doing all these things without you we always left, And you were untrue;"

They made their way to the dance floor and swayed to the music as the looked deep into each other eyes.

"Whereas where we tried hard not to go to,

I think about you in the moon lit night and the stars all seem to weep."

"Alex it's been so long? How did you find me at this place anyway?" Isabel said as she held on to him. "Ok Isabel you got me." He said smiling." Well you remember when we all went to Vagas and how we danced in a night club. You told me you always would of loved to have gone to one in the 40's so I figured I try this place to see if you were here you would always visit me here when you would dream walk me remember." Alex said as he pulled her closer to her. "You right. I guess I enjoyed your dreams better." She said smiling

Alex twirlerd her as she dipped into his arms. He pulled her up towards him and smiled. "Isabel you know the woods thing sending the signial of the V was very cleaver." Alex said as he brushed his hand through her long gloden hair.

Isabel eyes widened how did he know about that. "Alex I had a vision of you in the woods runnning away from these voices why?" She said as her hand brushed up against his cheek.

"When there's so much love to you there's never any time for sleep,

Alex looked deep into her eyes. "I can't tell you. You have to trust me I am safe for now." He said smiling at her. "Besides I am just happy to be here with you." he said as he spun her around again. Isabel caught her balance and held on tight to his arms.

"Whereas where we tried hard not to go to,
I think that's how I finally came through.

They laughed "But Alex I found a piece of the Robert Frost poem with teh words written on it "The Woods are lovely dark and deep but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep. what does it mean?" She said as she gently rubbed the back on his neck.

"It's when I stray from the truth as I grow older,
Too much leaves an empty hollow hunger,
Too much leaves an emptying hunger,"

"Isabel your smart you will figure it out. I can't stay long." Alex said as he pulled her close so that there foreheads were touching. "No stay please stay. Isabel whispered "Isabel this is a dream you will wake up soon." Alex whispered as he held her tight." Alex when will I see you again?" She sighed "Well that depends on you If I have a feeling I know we will meet again." He said softly. " Alex how will I know I am close. How?" Isabel whispered as concered filled her voice.

Alex then kissed her passionatly awakinging something inside her she hadn't felt in a long time. They stayed like that for a while and lingered on each otheres lips. "Don't you worry my beautiful Ice princess there is more fire inside you then ice then you think. Your beautiful you know that. You will find away." He said as he kissed her one last time.

Isabel held on to him tight. "I got to go." Alex said as he pulled away from her. Isabel held onto his hand "Alex I need a sign anything. Please help me I am dying with out you" She whispered as tears filled her eyes. "Look towards the lights in the snow." He whispered. They kissed one last time and with that he was gone.

"Living without you,

Living without you."

Isabel opened her eyes just as the last few cords of the song filled her room before going slient.

Chapter Eight Continued

The door swong open as Tess steared hearing the sound. Liz enter holding a tray. "Liz" Tess said sleeply. Liz froze at the sight in frount of her as her heart started pounding as the lost emotions all flooded back to her again. Despite what Max had said to her about Tess not being a threat she still was scared.

"I um..." She hestated as her nerves started to race. "I brought you some breakfast." Liz said as she made her way to the bed holding the tray. She steadied the tray and placed it down next to the night stand her hands shacking as she begain to make Tess a cup of coffee. Tess reached up and gently took hold of Liz's arm. Liz turned and froze as she saw her hand gripping her arm. "Liz I am not going to hurt you." Tess said softly while looking into her deep brown eyes.

They both staired into each others eyes for a moment until Liz realised she still had the coffee cup in her other hand. "Here I hope it's how you like it. I added extra sugar." Liz said as she handed her the cup. Tess took and sip "Um perfect just the way I like it extra sweet." She said smiling. Liz smiled. "Tess Max told me and Isabel about what happened to you. I am so sorry." Liz said as her nerves camled down. She sat on the bed watching Tess eat her breakfast. "How are you feeling?" Liz said as she looked into her deep blue eyes. "I am still very weak. My fever broke this morning which is good but I still have a long way to go." She said taking a bit of her tabassco saused eggs.

"Um this is so good I haven't had a meal like this in months." She said smiling. "Good I am glad. Just rest you will be back to your oldself in no time." Liz said. "Tess I want to ask you a question. It's about Alex. Do you know where he is." Liz said with concern. "Alex? Liz, Alex is dead." Tess said looking at her with a questing look. "You mean you didn't know he was alive?" Liz said in shock. "Alive! Alex is alive! But how?" Tess said as her eyes widened with aw.

"Well Isabel had a vision and her and Micheal went to the woods to see if they could find him thats when the sent out the royal V to try to contact him it was the same V you saw that night. Well Isabel found a piece of paper in the woods with the words form a Robert Frost poem with the words "The woods are lovely dark and deep but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep. We have been trying to reach him and figure out what it mean since. Are you sure you had no idea he was alive." Liz said looking closer at Tess.

"Liz I am sure I knew nothing about this. Please believe me. I thought he was dead as well for all this time." Tess said as she took hold of Liz's hand. "You know I never wanted to hurt Alex he was my friend as well. I felt terrible after I was the one responsible for his death. And then after using you and everyone I never thought I would be able to live with myself again. All I wanted to do was die and I almost did in the White Room. But I lived maybe this is Gods way of giving me a second chance to make things right again. I will promise you I will try to help in anyway I can to find him and bring him back." Tess said as she looked deep into Liz's eyes as tears filled hers. "Thank you Tess" Liz whispered.

She then got up and took the tray way from her. "So I hear that you and Max are married congratulations! I always had a feeling you two would tie the knot someday. When did it happen?" Tess said as she caught glimps of her diamond ring. "Wow nice rock! I approve." Tess said shacking her head impressed by what she saw."But how did Max afford it?" Tess said with a questioning tone.

Liz was a little caught of gard as to the question she just heard. " Oh this?" Liz held her hand out so Tess could see her ring better. "Well Max actually used his powers and turned a piece of cole into a diamond for me right in frount of my eyes. He said he saw it done in the movie Superman III. Thats how he proposed. It was so beautiful. He proposed on my balcony while we were toasting marshmellows."

They both laughed. "Yeah we got married after our graduation from West Roswell High School while we were still on the road being chased after the FBI. We had the cermoney at a chruch just outside of Roswelll. It was a beautiful day and a really nice cermoney. It was one of the happiest days of my life." Liz said smiling as her mind drifted back towards that day.

Tess smiled. "Liz your so lucky! Do you think I will be as lucky to find the love that you and Max have?" Tess answered as she looked up to her with big loving eyes. Liz squeezed her hand. "Tess I am sure you will. Now get some rest you will need it for this afternoon when everyone comes to see you." Liz said as she squeezed her hand one last time before leaving the room closing the door behind her as Tess drifted back to sleep.

Chapter Eight continued

"Yeah so you and Maria can come over this afternoon. Tell Kyle as well as Valentie and Mrs. Deluca as well. Maria can you call Liz's parents and let them know." Max said as he sat at the kitchen table with the portable phone in hand. "Hey Maria can you call Liz's Parents and tell them to meet her at the Evans." Micheal called to her from the kitchen.

Maria walked into the kitchen to see that Micheal was on the phone. "Sure I can. Micheal who are you talking to?" Maria asked with a questioned look on her face. "It's Max, Tess is back." Micheal said as he rested the phone apon his neck.

Maria's mouth dropped. "What! Micheal is this some kind of joke! Tess is dead." Maria said in shock as Micheal placed his hand over the reciever and said "No she is here in Roswell and is at Max's house as we speak." and then went back to talking.

Maria ran up and grapped the phone from him. "Maria stop it!" Micheal cried as she tore the phone out of his hand. "Hello Max if she does anything to you or Liz or Isabel I swear to god I will kill her! Are you ok! Where is Liz? Is she with her? Max is Liz ok!" Maria frantaclly said holding a hand over her fore head to clam herself down.

"Maria relax. Calm down. Liz and eveyone is fine. Look Tess was captured and put into the White Room she still is pretty drugged and is fighting a fever. Micheal will fill you in on the rest of the details. But everyone is safe. Ok! Relax." Maria composed herself and took some deep breaths "Ok as long as you guys are safe." she said and pulled out a bottle of some Cypress oil to clam her nevers down as she handed the phone back to Micheal.

"Yeah she will be fine. ok Maxwell. I'll tell the others. See you later" Micheal said hanging up the phone. He then went over to Maria and gave her a hug and kissied her forehead. "Shh we will be alright everything is going to be fine." He said looking into her eyes. "Ok" Maria said as she gave Micheal a kiss.

Maria smiled. "Ok I am starving I have to eat something before I pass out! This heat is killing me" Amy said fannig herself she walked into the kitchen. Micheal and Maira laughed and with that they sat down for breakfast.

Max clicked the button turning off the phone and placed it back on the reciever. He hadn't notice while he was talking that Liz had come in and placed the tray down next to the sink. Max looked up startled to see her and smiled. Liz was at the sink cleaning the breakfast dishes. "So how is she?" Max said as he watched her.

"Oh Tess is fine her fever broke which is good but she still is really weak. She didn't know Alex was dead and was shocked that he was alive. She said she would help us in anyway she could. but she still has a long way to recover from the tourcher she was through so it might be a while before she can help us. Who were you talking to on the phone with just now?" Liz said as she looked up from the soapy sink to see him.

"I was talking to Micheal and Maria that Tess was back and that they should tell the others. Maria was kind of shaken up but I think she will be fine." Max said as he made his way towards the sink. "Oh yeah I also told them to tell your parents you were here didn't want them to worry about you." Max said as he took the plate from Liz's hand and started to dry it with a towel. "Oh I completly forgot. My parents would have killed me. I didn't even leave them a note. Thanks. for saving me." Liz smiled .

"Anytime." Max said turing to her with a look of desire in his eyes. Liz reached up and drapped her arms around his neck. "Now where were we?" She said as she kissed him passionatly. The dish crash into the sink as Max's hands moved down towards her hips lifting her up and on to the Island countertop in the middle of the kitchen. He started to slowly unbotten her shirt as their passion grew.

"Max we can't" Liz breathed heavly. "I know" Max sighed as his face burried itself inside her chest as he kissed her cleavage. Liz gasped with each sensation. She then lifted his face and kissed him hard while she unbottoned his shirt. "But Max what if your parents catch us." She said breathly in between kisses. "They won't." Max said as he lifter her from the Island and on the floor so that the Island was hidding them.

Max reached down and started to move his hand inside her open shirt to find her bra strap. He unclasped her bra slowly while Liz removed his shirt. "Liz" he moaned as he hovered over her body. "I need you." He said huskly in her ear as his growing desire ripped though his body. Liz kissed him passionaly as she kissed his neck and then bear chest. How she missed him she needed him as much as he needed her.

"Liz don't stop" Max said as he moved down towards her jeans. Slowly he found the botton and opened them. "Max" Liz goaned as her desire grew and then in one sweap he lifted her slowly up towards him as their kisses became more intense.

"Morning" a voice belowed from the room. As Max bolted up from behind the counter causing Liz to fall down hard on the cold floor. "Ouch!" Liz whispered as she rubbed her head and started to clover her body. "Dad" Max said breathlessly. "What are you doing up this early?" Max said still trying to compose himself. "Oh just wanted to get a head start on the day.What were you doing down there anyway." Mr.Evans said with a questioned look.

Max froze that was the last thing he needed was for his dad to find out her was ravashing Liz right on their kitchen floor he thought to himself. Max hestated and then said "Oh I was just looking for the frying pan I wanted to make breakfast for you and mom. I guess you caught me." He smiled.

Mr. Evans smiled "That was sweet of you son but your mother and I were going to go out for breakfast this morning. I guess I will check and see if she is ready to go.Wake Isabel up before 10 will you you know how she likes to sleep late" He said. "Sure thing Dad." Max said as he watched his father leave and make his way upstairs.

Max waited for a few seconds to see if the coast was clear. He turned and nodded to Liz "Wow that was close" She said as she buttoned her shit. "So I am now a fying pan?" She said laughing. Max smiled "Good save" Liz said as she patted Max on the back. "Yeah I guess we have gotten good at this. You know making things up after all of these years." He said smiling at her.

In a few seconds they both could hear the frount door close as Max's parents left. Shortly after Isabel emerged into the Kitchen with a look of aw on her face, she smiled and then said "Alex sent me another sign!"

Chapter Nine

Max and Liz both turned to each other and then to Isabel as there eyes widened before they both said together with excitement "Another sign! But how" Isabel smiled well it just happend when I was asleep.

I had this dream and Alex was there. He some how knew about Micheal and I being in the woods and sending the Royal V. I am not sure how he knew but he did. Then I asked him about the vision I had of him running. He told me that he couldn't tell me now as to why he was runing away from those voices I head." Isabel said as she sat down trying to collect her thoughts and make sense of it all.

"What about the Robert Frost poem you found Izz did he say anything about that?" Max asked as he look in aw at his sister. "He told me that I would figure it out and then just before he left he told me "look towards the lights in the snow!" Isabel said as a huge smile crepted it's way across her face remembering the beautiful dream she had of him.

"I wonder what he ment. Look towards the lights in the snow?" Liz whispered to herself as the gears in her mind started turning. She the looked up as if to say she cracked the case of the centuary. "Wait I think I know what he means. The Robert Fost poem that you found Isabel is called "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" Maybe thats what he meant and by looking over the poem more maybe we can locate his where abouts." Liz said all excited.

Max staired at her in aw god how he loved how her mind worked. Isabel looked at Liz "Do you think it will work? I mean that explains the snow but the lights I am not sure." Isabel said trying to figure out what Alex meant.
"I am sure we will figure it out. If Alex is out there we will find away to reach him. Maybe Tess can help us get a little closer to where he is as well. Max said smilng. "This is amazing Isabel that he can communicate to you in dreams. I wonder if he will contact you tonight? Can you dreamwalk him at all?" Max said still in shock as to the news he just heard.

"Well I haven't yet but it is worth a try." Isabel smiled and then looked at Liz seeing her hair all wild. "God Liz what happened to you! It looks like you were stuck by lighting. Your hair is a mess!" Liz blushed and then smiled "No I wasn't struck by lighting Isabel. It was more like a frying pan. Liz said turing to Max as he smirked.

"Well what ever it was you look a mess. Here let me take you to my room to get yourself looking some what normal." Isabel said getting up from the chair. "Honestly Max I can't believe you! Isabel said eyeing her brother. Max shrugged his sholders "What" He said with a smirk as he slightly laughed."You really should to be more careful! Mom and Dad were right upstairs! If they heard you!" Isabel said with a threating tone.

"Isabel I swear nothing happened" Max begged as his laughter grew. "Yeah right! Sure, Nothing happened!" Isabel said giving her brother the eye. "OK enough I don't want to even think about what went on here! You know I didn't need a mental picture like that this early in the morning! Aw I think I am going to be sick! Isabel said waving her hands in the air trying to blot out the image she saw in her mind while Max and Liz laughed.

"I can't believe it the perfect Liz Parker and my brother doing it in my kitchen! Come on you upstairs!!" Isabel said as she pointed to Liz signaling her to leave. She smiled to Liz as she left the kitchen. Isabel then turned gave a threating look to Max before she left the room smiling to herself as she made her way up the stairs.
