Actually, I recently bought Ash's album 'Free All Angels' which has got Shining Light on it...the main reason I got it.
Track 12...'Nicole'.

Had to look up the lyrics cos I couldn't understand them.

I think I'm probably one of the worst off. I doubt my name will ever be in a song considering no one outside Ireland has ever even heard of the name Orla! Also Spanish people seem to find it amusing that it is quite similar to the word 'hola' (but not really) as I realised as some Spanish cleaners started singing 'Hola Orla' over & over as they were cleaning the room!

But at least I can take comfort in the fact that it has a good meaning: Golden Princess in Irish. I don't think you could get a much better meaning than that.
