Part 9:

Liz looked around the pod chamber as Max and the other's, excluding Michael, followed her in. Max had demanded that she tell them who she really was or he would turn her over to the FBI. Deciding the only way was to finally explain the truth she asked him to take them to the pod chamber. Max looked around the small cave getting the feeling that he had been there before, "Max, you get the feeling that we've been here before?" Isabel asked him going over to the pods.

Liz looked back at the comment, "We all have, Michael, me, you, and Max...this is where we were born." She explained.

"Wait, what do you mean, you?" Maria asked nervously, "You are Nasedo aren't you?" She exclaimed getting scared.

Liz shook her head, "If you guys had just asked instead of threatening I would have told you that I'm no killer, hell I didn't even know Nasedo was until we arrived here."

"Then what are you?" Max asked glarring at her.

"I'm the fourth...I guess it would be better to start from the beginning." Liz said touching her pod. "The reason I told Michael about who I am first was because he's my brother in our past life."

"Past life?" Tess said unbelievably.

Liz rolled her eyes, "All four of us, we lived on a planet called Antar...You and Isabel were antarian royals," She explained looking at Max, "As soon as you were betrothed and wed you were to become the King of Antar, your name was Zan and your sister's name was Vilandra."

"We were royalty?" Isabel asked shocked.

Alex looked at Liz, "You and Michael were betrothed to Zan and Vilandra?" He asked catching on.

"Gross..." Isabel said disgustingly.

Liz laughed, "Yeah, my name was Ava and I was at the time a peasant, but my brother Rath was Zan's second in command which automatically put me in line to marry Zan. Let's just say Ava and Zan were not to pleased about that." She said smirking shaking her head she continued, "Nasedo was assigned to protect us from our enemies, he's the one who made it possible for us to live now. He took human dna and alien dna combining it to make us hybrids."

"Half human and half alien." Max said to himself.

"Right, he thought it was a good idea in case anything happened to us and we would be able to come back if needed to. It's a good thing to because when the war started all hell broke loose." She said looking around the cave. "After Zan married Ava, Vilandra started having an affair behind Rath's back with our enemy Khivar."

"Why, I wouldn't..." Isabel started to say but Max placed a hand on her shoulder gesturing to let Liz continue.

"Right you wouldn't, Vilandra didn't know at the time that Khivar was trying to start a war with Zan. When Vilandra found out she went to tell Rath and Zan but was killed before she reached the gates. Rath found her and seeked revenge along with Zan. Zan's parents insisted that he try to find peace but when Zan's father was killed in the process of the summit meeting and your mother died of a broken heart it only fueled Zan to seek revenge." She said taking a deep breath. "Khivar sought out hurting Zan any way possible, pretty soon the planet was dying due to Khivar's acts and Rath soon died protecting his sister..."

"How did he die?" Maria asked upset.

Liz looked down, "Ava was kidnapped after Zan left for war and Rath went after her only to find a trap waiting for him. Zan soon came back and found Rath hung and Ava in the bed they shared in a pool of blood. He was so distraught that Khivar was able to defeat him."

"Where was Nasedo during all this? He called himself your protector after all." Tess said disbelieving everything.

Liz looked down, "By the time Nasedo returned to Antar he soon discovered that everyone died, and started the process of sending us to earth hoping that we would learn how to identify our enemies, he never expected us to be split up."

"Let me see if I got this right, you were betrothed to him," Alex said pointing to Max, "And Isabel was betrothed to Michael." Liz nodded, "But if your like them how come they never knew about you?"

Liz opened the book, "They probably would have felt something towards me if they hadn't supressed their powers for so long. Since I've used mine, I was able to see things whenever I touched any one of them. I was able to connect with Michael so he could see that I was telling him the truth..."

"When you say connect..." Maria said raising an eyebrow thinking they had slept together.

"No, Maria, I'm his sister for god's sake." She said shaking her head, "I didn't want to tell you guys because I didn't want to force you to follow a destiny that you guys didn't choose."

Isabel looked at Max, "I don't understand..."

"I can connect with you guys, maybe it will show you somethings that you don't understand..." Max looked at Isabel before nodding, "We have to hold hands." Liz said before taking each of their hands. "Just let your mind blank out and take deep breaths." As the room got quiet Maria looked at Tess who was seething with anger and Alex who looked like he just saw a ghost, looking back at the trio she noticed a fine sheen of sweat appear on Liz.

Flash-(all of them seeing the flash)

Rath and Zan first meeting

The connection broke causing Max and Isabel to gasp, looking around they noticed that Liz had fainted from the energy she used, "Oh my god, Max...is she okay?"

Max rushed to Liz's side, placing his hand over her head he looked back up at Isabel, "Help me get her to the car, she's unconcious. We need to get to Michael's." He said to the others.

"Wait, what did you see?" Tess said stopping Max not wanting to take Liz with them.

Max shrugged her off, "Not now, she passed out before we could see everything, but we saw enough." He explained before looking at Alex, "Help me get her up." Alex nodded.

Maria looked after them as they led Liz to the car, she turned to Isabel, "Is it true?"

Isabel had tears in her eyes, "Yes..."

"Then Michael's going to be pissed." Maria said nervously before following after them.

Part 10-

Michael's Apartment-

"What the hell happened?" Michael yelled helping Max get Liz out of the jeep. Isabel and the other's quickly followed the two inside the apartment as Michael laid Liz down on his couch.

Max ran a hand through his hair, "I don't know, one minute she connected with me and Isabel, the next she just passed out." He explained looking at Liz with concern.

Michael glared at the other's, "What the heck was she doing with you guys anyways?"

Isabel looked at the other's guiltily, "We um, we confronted her..."

"What?" Michael yelled angrily.

"Well, you wouldn't tell us anything, so we had to do something!" Tess yelled frustrated.

"Shut up!" Max and Michael yelled at the same time.

"Look, we just wanted to talk to her, she showed us who she really was and who we really were. Why didn't you just tell us?" Max asked with confusion written all over his face.

Michael shook his head, "Because she was worried that you guys wouldn't like her for who she is now."

"That's ridiculous." Maria said rolling her eyes, "She needed to tell us because of what this Nasedo character is up to."

"Is it ridiculous though?" Isabel asked the other's causing them to look at her, "Think about it, Max, put yourself in her shoes. Coming to a new town to find out who the other's are and then taking a chance of telling them only to find out they might be FBI or something. Add onto that, that we get these feelings we know her, it's enough to cause doubt." She explained. "I'd feel the same way."

Max nodded, "Yeah, I guess I would too."

Liz started moaning in her sleep causing everyone to turn and look at her, "She's probably going to be out for awhile...she told me whenever she uses to much power she gets weak." Michael said looking at her arms crossed across his chest.

"Can't you heal her Max?" Maria asked concerned.

Max shook his head, "She's not sick or anything, she's just sleeping..."Max said brushing a lock of hair out of her face.

"What do we do?" Isabel asked to the other's.

"I say we leave, she'll be fine." Tess added sarcastically, "Besides she bet..."

"Tess, you really oughta learn when to shut up." Maria said patting her shoulder. Tess glared at her, "Look chica don't be glaring at me or I'll give you something to glare about." Maria threatened.

"Why you..." Tess started to say but Michael stepped in front of them, Michael turned to look at them both. "Whatever, don't think space boy here will always be here." She added before flopping down on the couch. Maria rolled her eyes.

"We need to think of something to do about Nasedo." Michael said after calming the two down, "Liz said he's due back in a couple of weeks, he headed to New York for this meeting."

"Right, well, as far as we know he wants Liz pregnant and wants the throne, right?" He asked himself aloud.

"Right, but what's the point?" Michael asked him confused.

Max shook his head, "I think I have an idea but we'll need to talk to Liz first, we'll meet first thing in the band room tomorrow." Looking at Liz, "Let her sleep tonight...we need to head home though." Michael nodded.

"Call us if you need anything." Isabel said heading out with Alex and Tess in tow.

"Maria you coming?" Max asked her who noticed she was hesitating.

Michael came up and hugged her, "We'll talk later." Maria nodded against his shoulder before heading out with Max.

Band Room-

Michael entered the band room and noticed everyone was already there, "Where's Liz?" Max asked looking behind him as if to see Liz follow.

Michael scratched the back of his head, "Well, see that's the thing, she's kind of well..."

"She's not coming?" Alex said interrupting him.

"She's kind of hurt..." He added, "She knows she lied to you all, but she still thinks you guys were out of place."

Flash-

"No, Michael, I know I'm not innocent in this whole thing, but they had no right to just grab me like that." Liz said pulling her shoes on.

Michael nodded, "I know, but still, they were worried about their safety...you have to understand that..."

"I don't have to understand shit, I'll handle Nasedo myself and after that I'm out of this god forsaken town."

End Flash

"God she has some nerve, you know she lied to us...not the other way around. It's a good thing you dumped her Max, didn't I tell you she was crazy, she made me lose it that day in class." Tess said coming up beside Max.

"Who said I dumped her?" Max asked raising an eyebrow. Tess looked at him shocked, "Maybe you should head on to class Tess..."

"Wh...what?" Tess asked confused and shocked.

"Where's Liz now?" Max asked turning to Michael ignoring Tess. He couldn't believe how immature she was being. He thought that maybe she was willing to give Liz a chance for his sake but seeing her the past couple days made him realize she was never going to let go.

"She's at her locker." He said to Max. Max nodded before grabbing his bag and headed out the band room.

"Where you going?" Maria called after him with a smile. "So, who wants to make a bet?" Maria asked turning to the to other's causing Alex and Isabel to laugh and Michael to roll his eyes.

As Max approached Liz he noticed the fatigued look she had on her face. Frowning he looked around the halls before approaching her, clearing his throat Liz looked up surprised, "Hey..."

"Aren't you suppose to be in the band room?" Liz asked sarcastically.

Max nodded, "I guess I deserve that. I wanted to apologize...you were right, you didn't deserve how we, how I treated you." He started to explain, "It's just, you started this whole secrecy thing with Michael and then I saw that book and I was surprised..."

Liz shut her locker, "Instead of abducting me why not just ask what the book was?"

"I tried to ask you what was going on, maybe not with the book but with Michael and the whole secret...but you wouldn't tell me." He said getting frustrated, "Liz, I just...I just want to get to know you, for who you are now...can't you give me a chance?"

Liz shook her head, "I don't think I can, look I'll work with you to figure something out about Nasedo but after that I'm gone." She explained before starting to walk towards class.

"Why?" He asked stepping in front of her.

Liz looked at him, "You don't trust me and to tell you the truth after the things that were said I don't know if I can trust you. What kind of relationship would that be?"

"I said something's in the heat of the moment, I would never have acted on them..."

"What happens next time we get in argument? What's to say you don't get angry then?" She added before heading to class.

"Liz!" Max called after her, "I want to be friends if anything, let me at least try to earn that."

Liz looked at him a moment, "We'll see." She said nodding.

"Can I walk you to class, as a friend?" Max offered innocently.

"You think Tess would think highly of that?" Liz said adjusting her backpack.

Max shrugged, "Who cares? I'm not her property..."

Liz smiled, "But..."

"Milady, shall we?" He asked offering his arm interrupting her.

"Don't think this means all is well, I know I'm not all that innocent in this, but neither are you." She said firmly, Max nodded, "But it's a start...maybe this afternoon we can work something out about Nasedo."

"Sounds like a plan."
