Chapter 10
The past two weeks had been extreme hell for Max and Liz. Jason still hasn’t woken up, and paparazzi were going crazy with pictures, and articles on the ex-actors recent tragedy. The harder Max tried to keep his personal life intact, the harder the people tried to interfere. It was getting restless, and so hard to deal with, Max didn’t know how much more he could deal with. As if the issue with Jason and the tabloids wasn’t enough, the police had found evidence to believe that the robbery was just a ploy and that the man who had shot Jason was hired to do so. With everything going on, Max now had to worry about keeping himself and his family alive.
“Max.” Max, who was currently seated in one of the hospital chairs, staring out the window, turned around to find his ex-wife holding two cups of coffee in her hands. She brought one hand out offering him the coffee. “Thanks.” He took a sip from it and continued to face out the window.
Liz took a seat next to Jason’s bed, grabbing his hand; trying to keep her tears from falling. Jason was her life, he was her everything. She had already lost one of the most important things in her world 4 years ago, and she wasn’t about to loose him too.
“I’m so sorry Liz. This is all my fault.” Max brought Liz out of her thoughts and she turned around to see him looking down on the floor as tears rolled down his face. It broke her heart to see him like that.
“Oh, Max.” Liz sighed. She didn’t want him to think that, there were just psychotic people in the world, who felt happiness from harming a little boy, but that was not Max’s fault.
“No, as much as you can say it isn’t, it is. All of it is. Please, I just need you to hear this. I just..need you to understand.” Max forced himself to look up and bring himself to look into her soulful eyes. It was time that he told her everything that he had held in for the last 4 years.
Liz nodded at him and listened to him as he went on.
“I never should have left that day I found out you were pregnant. The whole reason that you lied to me was because you wanted me to be happy, with my career, and you felt it was necessary. You thought once I knew I would take that plane back home and leave everything, and you were right. You were my everything Liz, I’d do anything for you. I never understood why you felt that you had to lie to me, because as long as I was with you, nothing else seemed better. Then when I saw you pregnant, you expected me to stay with you. I should have stayed with you, but instead I left. I left with Tess, I left you alone, pregnant with my child. God, Liz, I can’t even say it. I was so wrong, and it’s all my fault. I barley even called you, I was gone for months, and I knew you were pregnant. I knew it, I could have dropped everything, but I didn’t. I don’t know why, and I wish so much that I did, I wish it so much. I love you so much Liz. I don’t even know what I was thinking. I wasn’t even there for Jason’s birth. I wasn’t there, and I can never forgive myself for that. I’m a horrible person, I’m so sorry Liz, I’m so sorry for everything.”
Liz watched as he cried and couldn’t take it no more and got up and wrapped her arms around him. At that moment something awoke in both of them. Max wrapped his arms around her tight. It was the moment they were both waiting for, they were together, in each others arms, after so long, and it felt so good; it felt like they were finally home.
“It’s ok Max, It’s ok. It’s not only your fault, I never should have lied to you in the first place. I never should have kept him from you. I never should of lied. I should have known, you’d be happy. I’m sorry too. I never should have asked for that divorce Max, I never should have asked for it. I was so in love with you, I still am. I was just so hurt.” Liz cried into his shoulder.
“I’m so sorry I hurt you Liz. I never wanted to ever. That was the last thing I ever wanted to do, and I did it. That’s why I filed for the papers Liz. I failed myself, I failed you. You’re my everything, I love you so much it hurts me so much. I hurt you so bad, and I don’t let myself forget it. Not one day has gone by that I didn’t think about you, and how happy we could of been, how perfect our lives would have been, but I had to mess it up.” Max hugged her tighter against him. Liz closed her eyes tight.
“I guess there is no such thing as a perfect life.” Liz whispered. She finally realized it. For so long, she wished her life to be perfect, but there is no such thing as a perfect life. What’s life without some mistakes? How would you learn things, if you never made any mistakes?
“I just wish things could go back Liz, I just wish that so much. Could they go back?” Max asked.
“I don’t know anymore Max. Things have changed so much, I’m not sure that they can.” Max nodded, not letting her go. That was good enough for him; to know there was some hope left.
A knock on the door interrupted the couples little reunion. Hesitantly, they pulled apart. They wiped their tears and called out to come in.
“Detective.” Max said getting up once the detective working on Jason’s case walked out.
“Evening, Mr.Evans, Miss Parker.” He said nodding in their direction; a manila folder under his arm. “Have you got some news?” Liz asked getting up as well.
“Actually, yes I do. I got an anonymous letter this morning, a long with these pictures. The letter said, it was the key to your investigation. I was wondering, do you know these people.” He grabbed the folder from under his arms and placed it on the table, opening it up. Max and Liz’s eyes widened as they saw the pictures. Max grabbed the pictures and shuffled through them; Liz peering from behind him.
“This was my manager, Kyle Valenti, I fired him right before I retired. The woman is Serena Walker.” The pictures were of Serena, Kyle, and the man who shot Jason. The two were handing what seemed like a picture; probably Jason’s, and an envelope; that probably held money. Liz looked at him.
Serena Walker That was the woman she had seen Max with all those years ago.
“I’ll put a warrant out for their arrest. But, would you happen to know, why this Serena Walked would want to be involved?” The detective asked.
Max ran a hand through his hair and sighed. “I haven’t seen her in over 3 and a half years. She was my old make-up artist for my first movie. We were really close while I shot my movie. She was like my little sister, I told her everything. I guess she took it wrong, and tried to sleep with me. I refused to, and she went psychotic. She threatened me that she’d get back at me, and after that I started receiving, weird letters. I wasn’t sure if it was from her or a fan. I was going to report it, but out of no where they stopped coming.” Max explained. Liz stared at him wide-eyed and then turned around looking down at the ground. She was breathing heavy, and she felt very dizzy.
“Liz!” She heard Max’s voice but it seemed so far away. She was so wrong about everything. She just assumed the worse, she was so wrong.
“LIZ!” She tried to reach out to him but her world went black around her.

Liz had been out cold for the last hour and Max was starting to get worried. The detective had put out an arrest for Serena and Kyle, but none of that mattered. Right now, he was to worried about Liz.
Liz slowly opened her eyes and looked around her surroundings. She was no longer in Jason’s room but in a different hospital room, and she was laying on one of the bed. She turned to her left and found Max talking to himself.
“Max?” She asked weakly. Max jerked his head up at her voice.
“Oh thank god your ok!” He cried out.
“What happened?” Liz asked.
“You fainted.” He answered stroking her hair soothingly.
“I..” Serena Walker. She remembered why she fainted.
“What happened?” Max asked worried when he felt her drifting away.
“Serena, I know her. I mean I don’t know her. But I saw her. With you.”
“I don’t understand.”
“It was after Jason was born. I was just so upset, and I went for a walk I think. I was thinking about us, and I had been so wrong to ask for a divorce. I wasn’t thinking rationally, and I wanted to give us another shot. Then I saw you with her. God I’m so stupid.” Liz ran her fingers through her hair sitting up.
“Wait you thought I was with her?” Liz nodded her head.
“Your hand was on her knee, and I just didn’t know what else to think. Then the papers came and I just signed our love away. I’m so stupid.” Liz banged her head against the wall behind the hospital bed.
“Hey hey, stop that. I don’t want to black out again. God knows, my poor little heart can’t handle it again.” Liz laughed and looked down at her hands. She had been so wrong about a lot.
“People make mistakes. I’ve made a lot, and it was only instincts for you to think that. I don’t blame you. I just, can we try to work things out. Since we’ve laid all our cards on the table. Do you think that we can try to work things out. I’m not saying jump into things, I’m just saying, can we just try to be friends again.”
Liz looked up at him and into his pleading eyes.
“Yeah. I think we could.”

Hey guys! I just want to say thanks for all the feedback. Sorry it's taken so long but RL has been really hectic. I'm sorry that this part is short, I just really didn't have time to write but I promise the next one will be extra extra long.

Chapter 11

“Where are you going?” Max asked, picking his head up from the pillow he was just resting his head on. Liz turned to him. “Oh you’re up, sorry did I wake you?” Liz asked as she shuffled through her purse; looking for her keys.
I'm broken in two
And I know you're on to me
That I only come home
When I'm so all alone
But I do believe
“No I was up. Where are you going?” Max asked again. “I just got to get some food. We have nothing in this house.” Max had been staying over the house for the last couple of weeks; that way if there was any new news from the hospital about Jason, they would both be there to hear it.
“You want me to come with you?” Max asked getting up from the couch. Liz shook her head no. “No, it’s ok, I’ll be back soon enough. Michael and Maria should be coming over soon.”
They’re friendship had developed rather quickly, they were almost inseparable, which was surprising. But, that was the thing with the two of them, they’re love always ends up surprising people.
The shrill of the phone brought both of them to a halt. Every time the phone rang at the house there was an awkward heart wrenching silence.
That not everything is gonna be the way

“I’ll get it.” Max said walking over to the kitchen, Liz following behind.
“Hello.”
”Hello, this is Bellevue Hospital calling. Is this Mr. Evans?”
“Yes this is he. Is everything ok?”
“I think it would be best if you and Miss Parker came down to the hospital.”
“Can’t you just let me now? .” Max’s voice was full of demand and from behind him Liz was shaking with anticipation and fear.
“Please Mr. Evans.”
“Ok, we’ll be there in 10 minutes.” With that he hung up and turned around to face Liz.
Open the door
And show me your face tonight
I know it's true

“What happened?” Liz’s voice was full of panic.
“They said we should just come down to the hospital.” Max said as he walked over to the front door and grabbed his jacket and keys from the hook.
“Oh god Max. What if..” Max silenced Liz by placing his finger on her lips.

I'm so heavy tonight
But your love is alright
And I do believe
“We can’t be thinking like that Liz. Everything’s fine. Let’s just go and see.” Max knew that if they assumed things, it wouldn’t be pretty.
Liz nodded and followed after him to the car. They drove in silence and by the time they reached the hospital they were both trembling. They didn’t see the need to stop at the receptionist’s desk and walked straight to Jason’s private room.
Max clutched the door knob with dear life before he turned it. They both took a deep breath before walking in.

“Michael, we got to get to the hospital. Something’s happened with Jason.” Maria said putting on her coat and grabbing her purse. She had just gotten a phone call from Liz and they were on their way to the hospital after they got a less-detailed phone call from the hospital.
“What happened?” Michael asked grabbing his coat. They didn’t have to worry about Emma because she was staying with the Parkers for the weekend.
“I don’t know. They just said to come right away, and to call everyone.” Maria said opening the door.

“Hi Mommy, Hi daddy.” Jason said giving his parents a wide toothy smile as they walked through the door.
“Oh my baby.” Liz cried with tears of joy as she rushed to his side. She engulfed him into her arms. “I’m so happy your ok. So happy.” She rocked him in her arms as she sobbed.

Max walked over to them. “Hey slugger.” Max said kneeling down so that he was face to face from Jason. “Hey dad.” Max gave him a kiss on his forehead and ruffled his hair. He was finally getting his life back.
“OH THANK GOD!” Maria screamed from the door-way entry and rushed over to the family, Michael trailing behind her.
“You gave us quite a scare little man.” Michael said as Maria plastered his face with kisses.
“Sorry Uncle Mikey.” Michael smiled, it’s been so long since he heard that and he was more than happy to hear it again.
“It’s alright kiddo.”
After a long battle, things were finally starting to fall in place. The five of them stayed in that little hospital room laughing and smiling, as joy finally struck their lives.

1 month later
Max had took Jason to go watch a baseball game so Liz was home alone, cleaning. It had been a long month, but a happy one, and Liz couldn’t be more ecstatic. Things finally seemed to be looking up for her.
“Hello.” Liz answered the ringing telephone after she had finished wiping her hands on the dish rag.
“Liz. It’s Sean.” Liz held back a groan. Truth was that he was really starting to get annoying. She told him she wanted to put things on hold for a while; she thought he would get the hint that it was a nice way of saying it was over. Obviously he didn’t. He called her constantly always asking if they could have lunch, or if they could have dinner, and Liz always turned him down. She felt bad, but with Max back in her life, she couldn’t see herself with another man.
“Hi Sean.”
“Hey, do you think you could come over for a few. It’s kind of important.” Liz rolled her eyes trying to come up with an excuse.
“I’m really busy..”
“It’s only going to take a little while.” Sean cut her off. Liz sighed, she knew she wouldn’t get him off the phone until she agreed.
“Alright, I’ll be there in 20 minutes.”
“Great! See you soon.” Liz let out a groan once they hung up, reluctantly walked to her bedroom to get ready.
15 minutes later she was on the road on her way to Sean’s house.

Chapter 12
Liz took a deep breath before knocking.
“Liz! Hey glad you could make it. Come in, come in.” Sean said moving aside to let Liz in.
“I can’t stay for long though.” Liz said walking in, getting seated on the couch.
“I won’t keep you long, I just want to show you something.” Sean said walking over to the T.V.
“Sean, I really can’t stay for a movie, it’s just that Jason is going to be home soon and I need to prepare dinner..”
“Oh it’s not really a movie, and trust me you’ll want to see this.” Sean pushed in the tape in the VCR and placed play.
On the screen played Liz having sex with several different guys. Liz covered her mouth with her hand.
“Sean what the fuck is this!” Liz screamed getting up from the couch. Sean smirked.
“Wonderful what technology can do these days isn’t it?” Liz looked up at him with fury.
“You sick fuck! What the hell is wrong with you!” Liz screamed.
“Uh uh, Lizzie dear, I wouldn’t get too testy. Imagine what I could do with this video. The press I could get, Max Evan’s ex-wife, she certainly has moved on. I wonder what Jason would say when people are calling his mommy a whore.”
“Why are you doing this?” Liz cried. She couldn’t understand, he was great the first couple of times they were together, then he got a little obsessive, but she never thought he was capable of something like this.
“Hmm, why would I do this? That’s a good question. Let’s see, maybe because I’m no Max Evans.” Liz looked up at him.
“What are you talking about.”
“Oh are you that stupid! All my life I’ve wanted the one thing that I couldn’t have, and that’s because of Max fucking Evans. I’ve wanted you for so long Liz, I’ve been in love with you since I could remember, and then when I had my chance, when I had my opportunity, that bastard comes back and takes it all away from me. Only difference is this time I’m not letting him get away with it.”
“Why would you do this to me?” Liz sobbed.
“Because you’re suppose to be me with me, and either you like it or not Lizzie dear, you are going to take my hand in marriage and will become Mrs. Sean Deluca” Sean said with venom in his voice.
“I won’t do it.”
“Oh yes you will. See I know one thing you don’t, and that’s that your still very much in love with Max Evans. Not only will the press eat him a live once that video goes out, but it will break his poor little heart, and I know you don’t want that. Plus imagine what would happen to poor little Jason, torn between mother and father. I wonder who he would pick? The whore of a mother, or the rich father.”
“You bastard.”
“You know you call me the bastard, but yet you’re the pathetic little bitch who always goes crawling back to him. Why did you do it! Why! Are you that stupid. After the shit he put you through, you forgave him. After the fact that you knew that someone tried to kill your son and it was all his fault! You still did forgave him!”
“It wasn’t his fucking fault! HE’S TWICE THE MAN YOU’LL EVER BE!”
“Oh I’m sure it’s not his fault. His manager and ex-fling just happened to be the reason as to why Jason got shot.” Liz brought her head up and stared at him in shock.
“How did you know that?” Sean looked at her in confusion.
“Know what?”
“That it was Kyle and Serena, the press never got a hold of that. How did you know that?” Liz questioned again.
“I..”
“You had something to do with it didn’t you! YOU SICK MOTHER FUCKER! YOU HAD MY SON SHOT BECAUSE OF YOUR JEALOUSY!” Liz clenched her fist with fury.
“I THOUGHT IT WAS MAX!” Sean screamed in defense.
“What!”
“I went to Serena and Kyle, gave them a plan, of course they were willing. When you told me you were going out that day, I figured it was going to be with Max. That’s when I told Kyle and Serena to get the guy to shoot Max. That dumb bastard fucked up the plan, and he got attacked, and the gun went off and it accidently shot Jason. I didn’t meant for Jason to get shot, but when it happened we couldn’t do anything. Then I came up with another plan, maybe if you saw that it was Max’s fault that Jason was shot you would leave him and you would come back to me. So I sent the detective, working on the case, pictures of Serena and Kyle and the shooter. But of course what happens! You forgive him and tell him it’s not his fucking fault! THEN YOU FUCKING BREAK UP WITH ME! YOU STUPID BITCH!”
“IT WASN’T HIS FAULT! IT’S ALL YOURS!” Liz screamed. Sean raised his hand and slapped her across the face, shoving her against the wall.
“Now you fucking little bitch, I don’t care what you think. You’re going to marry me whether you like it or not. I will not hesitate to sent that tape over to all the big tabloid agencies.” Liz spat in his face.
“Welcome to the family.” Liz pushed him off her and walked over to grab her bag.
“If you tell anyone Lizzie, I’ll kill you and your precious little son, I’m capable of anything.” Sean threatened. Liz glared at him before walking to the door.
“Oh and one more thing.” Liz closed her eyes and turned her around to look at him. He walked over to her and opened a velvet box. He grabbed her left hand and placed a sparkling diamond ring on her finger.
“Make sure your ecstatic when you tell Max the good news.” With that Liz left slamming the door on Sean’s smirking face.
Chapter 12

“Wonderful what technology can do these days isn’t it?” Liz looked up at him with fury.
“You sick fuck! What the hell is wrong with you!” Liz screamed.
“Uh uh, Lizzie dear, I wouldn’t get too testy. Imagine what I could do with this video. The press I could get, Max Evan’s ex-wife, she certainly has moved on. I wonder what Jason would say when people are calling his mommy a whore.”
“Why are you doing this?” Liz cried. She couldn’t understand, he was great the first couple of times they were together, then he got a little obsessive, but she never thought he was capable of something like this.
“Hmm, why would I do this? That’s a good question. Let’s see, maybe because I’m no Max Evans.” Liz looked up at him.
“What are you talking about.”
“Oh are you that stupid! All my life I’ve wanted the one thing that I couldn’t have, and that’s because of Max fucking Evans. I’ve wanted you for so long Liz, I’ve been in love with you since I could remember, and then when I had my chance, when I had my opportunity, that bastard comes back and takes it all away from me. Only difference is this time I’m not letting him get away with it.”
“Why would you do this to me?” Liz sobbed.
“Because you’re suppose to be me with me, and either you like it or not Lizzie dear, you are going to take my hand in marriage and will become Mrs. Sean Deluca” Sean said with venom in his voice.
“I won’t do it.”
“Oh yes you will. See I know one thing you don’t, and that’s that your still very much in love with Max Evans. Not only will the press eat him a live once that video goes out, but it will break his poor little heart, and I know you don’t want that. Plus imagine what would happen to poor little Jason, torn between mother and father. I wonder who he would pick? The whore of a mother, or the rich father.”
“You bastard.”
“You know you call me the bastard, but yet you’re the pathetic little bitch who always goes crawling back to him. Why did you do it! Why! Are you that stupid. After the shit he put you through, you forgave him. After the fact that you knew that someone tried to kill your son and it was all his fault! You still did forgave him!”
“It wasn’t his fucking fault! HE’S TWICE THE MAN YOU’LL EVER BE!”
“Oh I’m sure it’s not his fault. His manager and ex-fling just happened to be the reason as to why Jason got shot.” Liz brought her head up and stared at him in shock.
“How did you know that?” Sean looked at her in confusion.
“Know what?”
“That it was Kyle and Serena, the press never got a hold of that. How did you know that?” Liz questioned again.
“I..”
“You had something to do with it didn’t you! YOU SICK MOTHER FUCKER! YOU HAD MY SON SHOT BECAUSE OF YOUR JEALOUSY!” Liz clenched her fist with fury.
“I THOUGHT IT WAS MAX!” Sean screamed in defense.
“What!”
“I went to Serena and Kyle, gave them a plan, of course they were willing. When you told me you were going out that day, I figured it was going to be with Max. That’s when I told Kyle and Serena to get the guy to shoot Max. That dumb bastard fucked up the plan, and he got attacked, and the gun went off and it accidently shot Jason. I didn’t meant for Jason to get shot, but when it happened we couldn’t do anything. Then I came up with another plan, maybe if you saw that it was Max’s fault that Jason was shot you would leave him and you would come back to me. So I sent the detective, working on the case, pictures of Serena and Kyle and the shooter. But of course what happens! You forgive him and tell him it’s not his fucking fault! THEN YOU FUCKING BREAK UP WITH ME! YOU STUPID BITCH!”
“IT WASN’T HIS FAULT! IT’S ALL YOURS!” Liz screamed. Sean raised his hand and slapped her across the face, shoving her against the wall.
“Now you fucking little bitch, I don’t care what you think. You’re going to marry me whether you like it or not. I will not hesitate to sent that tape over to all the big tabloid agencies.” Liz spat in his face.
“Welcome to the family.” Liz pushed him off her and walked over to grab her bag.
“If you tell anyone Lizzie, I’ll kill you and your precious little son, I’m capable of anything.” Sean threatened. Liz glared at him before walking to the door.
“Oh and one more thing.” Liz closed her eyes and turned her around to look at him. He walked over to her and opened a velvet box. He grabbed her left hand and placed a sparkling diamond ring on her finger.
“Make sure your ecstatic when you tell Max the good news.” With that Liz left slamming the door on Sean’s smirking face.

Hey Guys Im so sorry I took so long to update! 
But I want to thank everyone who left feedback! It means a lot to me. This story was never intended to be a long one, and i'm sad to say that I have only a couple of more chapters to go. Anyways enough of my rambling. Here it is. Once again I'm still beat-less so sorry for any mistakes!!
Chapter 13
Liz couldn’t believe what was happening to her, she didn’t understand how someone could be so cruel. She was finally getting her life back, things were looking up for her and Max. He was slowly making his way back into her and Jason’s life, but yet again it all gets messed up. Liz has been through a lot with Max in the past, there have been so many fights, so many problems, but one thing was for sure and that was that she was desperately in love with Max Evans, and that would never change. She might have been through a lot but this was the last straw, she wasn’t going to let this mess everything up, she was going to fight, fight for the happiness that she deserved.
Liz parked her car, and got out; stretching as she finally got out of the car after the long 4 hour drive. She closed the car door behind her and pressed the button on her keychain for the alarm, and walked the pathway to the front door. She waited patiently after she rang the doorbell and when it finally opened she was greeted with a shocked face.
“Liz! This is a surprise! How are you?” He said going in and gathering her in his arms for a hug.
“I’ve been good. But I need your help.” She said once they spread apart. Seeing the worry etched on her face her quickly ushered her in insuring her he’d do whatever it is he could to help her.

“This isn’t like her Maria, something must be wrong. I mean she hasn’t called in over 6 hours!” Max said worried as he paced the room, running his fingers through his hair.
Max came home to find the house an empty one, with no messages, or anything. When he tried to call her cell he just got her voicemail. He wasn’t sure what was going on but he could sense something was terribly wrong.
“I don’t know what to tell you Max! I’m just as worried about her as you. I don’t know where she could possibly be, I’ve tried to call her cell-phone also and she doesn’t pick up my calls either! God Michael what if something’s really wrong, what if… Should we call the police?” Maria sobbed. Michael rushed to her side gathering her in his arms, trying to be strong for his wife, but truth was that he was breaking down inside, his baby sister was missing and he didn’t know what to do.
“I’m sure if there was an accident we would have been contacted.” Michael said reasonably.
“Daddy where’s mommy?” Jason asked tugging on Max’s pants, his eyes filling up with tears. Max bent down to pick him up.
“I’m not sure kiddo, but I’m sure she’s ok, no need to worry.” Max assured him.
“I miss mommy.” Jason sobbed burying his head into his father’s neck.
“Max we have to do something.” Maria said.
“I’ll go call the police.” Max said walking over to the kitchen to grab the phone.
“There’s no need for that.” Max stopped his actions at the voice.

“If I could get my hands on that son of a bitch, I’d rip him to shreds.” He seethed.
“Alex honey, we need to be calm right now.” Isabel said trying to calm down her husband. Truth was she was just trying to be the strongest out of everyone, she truly couldn’t believe the ludicrousy Sean brought upon his ex-sister-in-law, who she still dearly loved.
“Calm! Isabel, who could be so fucking sick and twisted! I mean I knew growing up Sean was trouble, but never in my mind did I think that he would stoop so low.”
“Yeah, well believe it. We can’t worry about that now. I need a plan. I need to bring him down now. You’re my only hope Alex, you always knew what to do. Can you help me?” Liz pleaded. She was in trouble, but if anyone could bring her out of, she knew it could be Alex.
Alex looked at his long time friend. “Of course I can help you.” Liz sighed with deep relief.
“What do you have?” Liz asked.

“HE DID WHAT!” Michael screamed in fury.
“Michael your going to wake up Jason.” Maria said trying to calm him down.
“I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL HIM DO YOU HEAR ME!” Michael promised.
Max couldn’t believe the story that his brother-in-law was telling him. If Sean Deluca was capable of something this big, he wasn’t sure if he ecstatic about the plan that they had come up with it.
“Max, you haven’t said anything yet.” Isabel said getting worried about her brother’s quietness.
“I’m fine. But are you sure this is going to work. Why can’t we just let the police handle this, and get this all over with?” Max asked.
“Because, we need evidence, and when we have it Sean can really pay.” Alex said.

“This is a surprise.” Sean said opening the door wide enough to let her in. Liz nodded her head.
“I know. I was thinking, about everything you said. I can’t believe I was stupid. You were so right.” Liz cried sitting down on the sofa. Sean closed the door behind him and turned back to Liz with a confused look.
“What?”
“You were right, this was his entire fault! I mean I bet you even if you had nothing to do with it, Kyle and Serena would have come up with something else, and either way something bad would have happened and it would have been all his fault. I can’t believe why I was so stupid and forgave him. He’s screwed me over so many times; he doesn’t deserve any of it! I shouldn’t have forgiven him!” Sean smiled; everything he wanted for so long was finally working to his advantage.
“Its ok, let it all out.” He said sitting down next to her rubbing his hands up and down her back. Liz tried to ignore the fact that he was touching her and tried to concentrate on her plan.
“God, I was just so stupid. I mean I bet you he fucked Serena and was too coward to admit it! Did you know he fucking kissed his publicist all those years ago, and we were still married! I guess I was so blinded I didn’t see what was really in front of me.” She turned to look at him. He had the biggest smile on his face and she felt like nothing more then slapping it right off his face.
“I mean, all you did was be good with me, you gave me all you had, after knowing my past. I never saw it, but now I do. You did all this for me, because you love me so much you went through everything to show me what I couldn’t see, Max would never do something like that.”
“No he wouldn’t.” Liz looked down and fiddled with her ring.
“I’m actually happy about one thing; it looks like I’ll actually be in a marriage that will work out.” She said looking up plastering on a smile.
“Of course you will.”
“I’m glad that no one led on to you, that they only caught Kyle and Serena.”
“Me too, other wise we wouldn’t be together right now would we. All that I went through, the shooting, setting up the hit man, making up the fake sex tape, it was all to show you what was truly meant to be, I didn’t do it to hurt you. I only did it to help you.” Sean confessed. Liz smirked.
“I know, and I see that now.” Sean was leaning in to kiss her and Liz thought of an excuse.
“I should really get home. I haven’t seen Jason and he must be worried sick, and I have to call Maria and tell her the great news! OH and I have to call my mom, this is so exciting!” Liz said getting up before Sean had the chance to kiss her. Sean got up as well.
“You sure you can’t stay for a little longer.” He said wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her towards him. Liz resisted the urge to vomit.
“Sean! We have plenty of time for that later, I need to see Jason. Sorry honey, but I promise I’ll call you later.” She said. Sean sighed.
“Ok, I guess your right. Tell Jason I’m looking forward to spending time with him again.” He said walking her to the door.
“Don’t worry I will.” She said giving him a quick peck on the lips before leaving. Once she was sure that he wasn’t in her view anymore she spit and wiped her mouth has hard as she could.
“I can’t believe he was so fucking dumb, for a lawyer, he was pretty fucking stupid.” Liz muttered shaking her head as she walked off to her car.
Once she got in, she turned on her cell phone and called Alex.
“I got it. See you soon.” Liz said as she hung up. She took off the tiny voice recorder attached to her shirt; placing it carefully in her purse, and sped off in the direction of her house.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! And thank-you for being so patient with me! My son's doing a lot better, so I should be getting back on track now. Chapter 14
“Oh thank god your ok!” Maria exclaimed rushing to Liz’s side once she entered the house. Liz smiled.
“Liz I’m so sorry! This is all my fault, if I had never set you up on that date with Sean, this would have never happened, and god I don’t know what I’d do if something had happened to Jason..” Liz hushed the sobbing Maria.
“Maria, it’s not your fault, do you hear me. Sean has problems, but you didn’t do anything wrong. Sean fooled us all, not just you, so don’t blame yourself.” Liz told her. Maria nodded and reached in for another hug.
“I’m just glad your ok.” She whispered into her shoulder before pulling away. Michael was the next one to engulf her into his arms.
“Why are you stupid, why couldn’t you let me handle him?” He asked as they were embraced. Liz laughed.
“Because killing him won’t solve my problem with him.”
“Yeah, but it would have been fun.” Michael retorted pulling back. Liz gave him a small smile. She reached into her pocket book and got out the mini recorder and handed it to Alex.
“It’s all in there.” Liz told him. Alex smiled.
“I knew you could do it. I’ll go call the detective right now.” Alex said walking away towards the phone, Isabel, Michael, and Maria following his lead.
Liz looked up and found herself looking into the pair of amber eyes that always manages to steal her breath away every time she looks into them.
“Max..” Liz started but was hushed away with his finger on her lips. Instead of talking he grabbed her into his arms and leaned into her giving her a passionate, loving kiss. When they pulled apart Liz looked into his eyes, and couldn’t for the life of her remember why she thought she fell out of love with this man. It had been so long she had tasted his lips, and now she didn’t ever want to forget again.
“Max, I just want to say that I’m sorry about everything. I was so wrong about a lot, and I don’t care what happened in the past. All this had made me remember exactly what you mean to me, and I don’t care I never want to loose you ever again. I want you Max. I want you more than anything in this world, I want every single piece of you, in every single way. You’re the love of my life, you always were, I just forgot it for a while. But I know that now, and I just want us together again.” Liz pleaded with him while still in his arms. Max smiled.
“You don’t know how long I’ve waited for you to say that.” He said before leaning in for another kiss.
“Looks like we’re all going to be family again.” Michael whispered to Isabel and Alex while they spied on his sister and ex-brother-in-law.
“I call Maid of Honor this time!” Maria told Isabel. The last time Max and Liz got married, Isabel had been maid of honor, but it was only because at the time of the wedding, Maria and Michael weren’t on the greatest terms, and Liz didn’t want the wedding to have any conflict, since Michael was the best man.
“So, do you think we should move closer to the family?” Alex said wrapping his arms around his beautiful wife. After spending all this time with everyone, Alex forgot how much he missed everyone. Him and Isabel lived so far away, and they barley saw anyone.
“I think that sounds like a great idea.” Isabel said leaning for a kiss.

Sean had been put into Jail, after being found guilty of blackmail, fraud, and attempted murder. After that everything seemed to be going great for Liz, and her perfect life slowly began to fall back into place.
2 months later Max had officially moved in with Liz and Jason, and they couldn’t be anymore happier. Max and Liz finally had agreed to become a couple again, but the topic of marriage had been left untouched. They didn’t want to rush things, they wanted to go slow, and make sure that nothing would get messed up.
“Liz baby where are you?” Max asked yelling out into the house he shared with Liz. He had been so ecstatic over the past few months, nothing could ever ruin his mood. He loved his life more than anything now, and would do anything to keep it that way.
“In here!” Liz yelled from inside the bedroom. She was folding clothes that had just been out of the laundry. Liz’s parents took Jason on a trip to the country for the weekend, so she and Max finally had the house to themselves. She was nervous about being alone with Max, because they haven’t really pursued having sex. They’ve came close, but were always interrupted by Jason. Now with no interruptions, Liz wasn’t sure what would happen, it had been so long since she last had sex, and she wanted it to be perfect.
Liz smiled as she felt her boyfriend’s strong arms wrap around her waist. She leaned her head back against his shoulder and he leaned in for a short but sweet kiss.
“MMM, hi there.” Liz said savoring the kiss. Max laughed and turned her around so that they were now facing each other.
“Hey.” He said huskily leaning in for another kiss. Liz wrapped her arms around his neck as Max deepened the kiss, his tongue seeking for entrance which she granted him. Liz moaned into his mouth as their tongues dueled with one another. Max pulled Liz closer tighter to him never once breaking contact with her. He pushed her against the bed and they both landed on top of the folded laundry, which just became very wrinkled.
Liz giggled. “So much for that.” Max laughed pushing the laundry onto the side bringing Liz up closer to the head of the bed. The laundry was forgotten as Max was on top of Liz starting an assault on her neck. Liz leaned her head back farther against the pillow giving him better access.
Liz had trouble focusing on anything, she felt like everything revolved around her and Max, and she didn’t want the feeling to ever go away. She had been so stupid, because she was so deeply in love with Max, it was crazy to think that they hadn’t been on speaking terms for 4 years.
Their clothes were soon discarded and Max lay on top of Liz the tip of his head lined against Liz’s entrance. He was planting sweet kisses all over her body. Liz closed her eyes at the sensation, he made her hot with desire, and she never wanted anyone more; he was the only one who could ever make her feel that way.
Max slowly pushed into her entrance, and Liz closed her eyes at the familiar feeling.
Max looked into her eyes lovingly, he had been waiting for so long for this moment, and he wanted it to be perfect, and slow. They rocked in sync with each other, slowly and gently, taking in the pleasure, never wanting it to go away. They climaxed together whispering out each others names as they did. That’s how it was the entire night was spent; making love to each other promising each other that their love would never die.

“Morning.” Liz said once she woke up looking into the eyes of the love of her life. Max smiled.
“Morning.” Liz looked at the clock and noticed it was almost noon.
“How long have you been up?” Liz asked as she stretched her arms.
“For a little while.” He told her.
“What?” Liz asked noticing that he was staring at her like he wanted to ask her something.
“Come somewhere with me.” Max whispered getting up off the bed. Liz looked at him like he was crazy.
“Now? Max I haven’t even had time to brush my teeth.” Liz said while Max pulled the covers off her handing her her robe.
“Please my love.” Max asked reaching out his hand for her to take. Curiosity struck Liz, and she reluctantly put on her robe and grabbed his hand. Together they walked hand in hand outside to the backyard.
“Max, it’s kind of cold.” Liz said shivering at the cold air that just hit her once she came outside. Max went around Liz and put his hands against her eyes.
“Max, what’s going on?” Liz whined. Max smiled.
“Be patient my dear.” Max said pushing Liz slowly towards where his surprise lay.
“Ok.” Max said taking his hands off her eyes. Liz gasped at the sight in front of her. In front of her was an arc built from white rose petals in the shape of a heart. It was placed on the side of the house and inside the heart was several pictures of Max and Liz through-out the years. Liz traced the pictures with her fingers smiling at each memory from the pictures. She turned back to Max.
“This is beautiful.” Liz said smiling. She couldn’t believe he did this without her knowing.
“Your beautiful.” He said wrapping his arms around her as they both looked at the collage in front of them.
“Look behind the wedding picture.” Max whispered in her ear. Liz turned around to look at him, and gave him a questioned look. He shoved her lightly towards the collage. Liz smiled and grabbed their wedding picture of the wall and turned it around.
Reach inside your pocket
Liz looked around at Max who had the biggest smile on his face. He nodded at her to tell her to proceed on with what it said to do. Liz reached inside her pocket and found her hand coming in contact with a small object. She pulled it out and gasped at what she saw. It was the exact same ring Max had both her from the first time he proposed to her only this time there was two more diamonds on the side of it.
“Max..” Liz tried to get the words out but she couldn’t.
“Marry Me..again.” Max said. Liz laughed and threw her arms around him.
“I wouldn’t dream of anything else.” Liz said pulling him into a kiss.

Chapter 14
“Oh thank god your ok!” Maria exclaimed rushing to Liz’s side once she entered the house. Liz smiled.
“Liz I’m so sorry! This is all my fault, if I had never set you up on that date with Sean, this would have never happened, and god I don’t know what I’d do if something had happened to Jason..” Liz hushed the sobbing Maria.
“Maria, it’s not your fault, do you hear me. Sean has problems, but you didn’t do anything wrong. Sean fooled us all, not just you, so don’t blame yourself.” Liz told her. Maria nodded and reached in for another hug.
“I’m just glad your ok.” She whispered into her shoulder before pulling away. Michael was the next one to engulf her into his arms.
“Why are you stupid, why couldn’t you let me handle him?” He asked as they were embraced. Liz laughed.
“Because killing him won’t solve my problem with him.”
“Yeah, but it would have been fun.” Michael retorted pulling back. Liz gave him a small smile. She reached into her pocket book and got out the mini recorder and handed it to Alex.
“It’s all in there.” Liz told him. Alex smiled.
“I knew you could do it. I’ll go call the detective right now.” Alex said walking away towards the phone, Isabel, Michael, and Maria following his lead.
Liz looked up and found herself looking into the pair of amber eyes that always manages to steal her breath away every time she looks into them.
“Max..” Liz started but was hushed away with his finger on her lips. Instead of talking he grabbed her into his arms and leaned into her giving her a passionate, loving kiss. When they pulled apart Liz looked into his eyes, and couldn’t for the life of her remember why she thought she fell out of love with this man. It had been so long she had tasted his lips, and now she didn’t ever want to forget again.
“Max, I just want to say that I’m sorry about everything. I was so wrong about a lot, and I don’t care what happened in the past. All this had made me remember exactly what you mean to me, and I don’t care I never want to loose you ever again. I want you Max. I want you more than anything in this world, I want every single piece of you, in every single way. You’re the love of my life, you always were, I just forgot it for a while. But I know that now, and I just want us together again.” Liz pleaded with him while still in his arms. Max smiled.
“You don’t know how long I’ve waited for you to say that.” He said before leaning in for another kiss.
“Looks like we’re all going to be family again.” Michael whispered to Isabel and Alex while they spied on his sister and ex-brother-in-law.
“I call Maid of Honor this time!” Maria told Isabel. The last time Max and Liz got married, Isabel had been maid of honor, but it was only because at the time of the wedding, Maria and Michael weren’t on the greatest terms, and Liz didn’t want the wedding to have any conflict, since Michael was the best man.
“So, do you think we should move closer to the family?” Alex said wrapping his arms around his beautiful wife. After spending all this time with everyone, Alex forgot how much he missed everyone. Him and Isabel lived so far away, and they barley saw anyone.
“I think that sounds like a great idea.” Isabel said leaning for a kiss.

Sean had been put into Jail, after being found guilty of blackmail, fraud, and attempted murder. After that everything seemed to be going great for Liz, and her perfect life slowly began to fall back into place.
2 months later Max had officially moved in with Liz and Jason, and they couldn’t be anymore happier. Max and Liz finally had agreed to become a couple again, but the topic of marriage had been left untouched. They didn’t want to rush things, they wanted to go slow, and make sure that nothing would get messed up.
“Liz baby where are you?” Max asked yelling out into the house he shared with Liz. He had been so ecstatic over the past few months, nothing could ever ruin his mood. He loved his life more than anything now, and would do anything to keep it that way.
“In here!” Liz yelled from inside the bedroom. She was folding clothes that had just been out of the laundry. Liz’s parents took Jason on a trip to the country for the weekend, so she and Max finally had the house to themselves. She was nervous about being alone with Max, because they haven’t really pursued having sex. They’ve came close, but were always interrupted by Jason. Now with no interruptions, Liz wasn’t sure what would happen, it had been so long since she last had sex, and she wanted it to be perfect.
Liz smiled as she felt her boyfriend’s strong arms wrap around her waist. She leaned her head back against his shoulder and he leaned in for a short but sweet kiss.
“MMM, hi there.” Liz said savoring the kiss. Max laughed and turned her around so that they were now facing each other.
“Hey.” He said huskily leaning in for another kiss. Liz wrapped her arms around his neck as Max deepened the kiss, his tongue seeking for entrance which she granted him. Liz moaned into his mouth as their tongues dueled with one another. Max pulled Liz closer tighter to him never once breaking contact with her. He pushed her against the bed and they both landed on top of the folded laundry, which just became very wrinkled.
Liz giggled. “So much for that.” Max laughed pushing the laundry onto the side bringing Liz up closer to the head of the bed. The laundry was forgotten as Max was on top of Liz starting an assault on her neck. Liz leaned her head back farther against the pillow giving him better access.
Liz had trouble focusing on anything, she felt like everything revolved around her and Max, and she didn’t want the feeling to ever go away. She had been so stupid, because she was so deeply in love with Max, it was crazy to think that they hadn’t been on speaking terms for 4 years.
Their clothes were soon discarded and Max lay on top of Liz the tip of his head lined against Liz’s entrance. He was planting sweet kisses all over her body. Liz closed her eyes at the sensation, he made her hot with desire, and she never wanted anyone more; he was the only one who could ever make her feel that way.
Max slowly pushed into her entrance, and Liz closed her eyes at the familiar feeling.
Max looked into her eyes lovingly, he had been waiting for so long for this moment, and he wanted it to be perfect, and slow. They rocked in sync with each other, slowly and gently, taking in the pleasure, never wanting it to go away. They climaxed together whispering out each others names as they did. That’s how it was the entire night was spent; making love to each other promising each other that their love would never die.

Max wrapped his arms around his wife’s waist and pulled her tight to him and gave her the sweetest, and most perfect kiss to mark a great new beginning. They spread apart only to hear the wild cheers and claps from the audience.
Max scooped Jason into his arms, and held out his arm for Liz, which she graciously took, and together the three of them walked down the isle, all grinning like there was no tomorrow. It was a joyous event, and after everything all three have been through the past few years, everything finally seemed like it was going to be ok.

“28...29..30!! Here I come Lizzie!!!” 7 year old Michael said taking his hands off his eyes as he and his baby sister played hide and seek at the local park.
4 year old Liz Parker giggled as she hid behind a bush, which her brother just passed by; completing missing her.
Just as she was about to come out of the bush, she felt her shoe lace get stuck into something and she stumbled back and fell on top of a young boy.
6 year old Max was captivated by the little girl who stumbled on to him. He never seen someone so pretty before, he always thought his mommy was the most beautiful girl he ever met, but there was something about this girl.
Liz blushed as she looked up at the boy, he was looking at her funny, and she started to get a funny feeling in her stomach.
“You have the most bootifulest eyes I’ve seen.” Max said to her. At that moment, Liz knew that she was in love

"My mommy was telling me, that when you love someone, that they become husbam and wife, and that they kiss all the time. You’re my best friend, and I love you, so do you want to be my wife?" Max asked innocently.
"Really! I've never been anyone's wife befowre." Liz said playing with her doll.
"You can be my wife forever." Max told her.
"Pwomise?" Max nodded his head.
"Do we kiss then?" Liz asked.
"I guess we do." Max leaned in and gave her a peck on the lips.

"Ever since I saw you that day at the park, you were my everything. I never would have thought that I could fall that hard for a girl who could barley read, but yet you captured my heart. Your soulful eyes, and your beautiful personality, I knew I never wanted to spend my life with anyone else. I still don't, you're the one for me, Liz, you always were, and always will be. Marry Me, and make me more happier than I already am." Liz turned around and looked at him with shock. He wrapped his arm around her and opened the velvet box, that held a beautiful diamond ring.

"Desired, owned by the young Elizabeth Evans, definitely surprised us all, when announced in Vouge Magazine, to be one of the hottest fashion stores in the year 2000, big things are going to be happening for the young fashion designer." Max read from the newspaper.
"WE DID IT BABY!!!" Liz screamed happily jumping into his arms.

As the song faded out Max gave Liz a sweet, passionate kiss.

He's going to be getting one big surprise on their honeymoon.
