The old van trudged along the road at a snails pace. Jilly clung to Max and hadn't let go since they left their little house. Siree was still asleep in Michael's arms and Isabel was staring out the window and Liz was driving; she was exhausted but they knew that they had to get to their next hide out. Her eyes failed her and she drifted off to sleep, the van veered to the left and they would have crashed despite how slow they were going. Isabel grabbed the steering wheel and took control of the van slowly bringing it to a stop in front of a road sign
"Is she okay?" asked Max "Is everyone okay?"
"She's fine Max, she fell asleep. We're all fine" Isabel replied then Michael gasped
"Max look!" he was pointing at the sign they'd stopped in front of 'Welcome To Roswell City Limits' Michael set his daughter down and got out to help Isabel move Liz into the back
"We have to get out of here!" said Isabel as she climbed into the back to look after Liz and Siree. Michael tried to start the engine but it wouldn't go
"What's up?" asked Max when the engine just sputtered
"It won't start! I think the engine's fried"
"We have to get it fixed or at least get another van" said Isabel
"Iz that means going into Roswell..."
"Max there's no way around this. We hold up in a motel till we get this fixed then we get the hell out of there before anyone catches on. We go with a plan, you and Liz are married and Julie's your daughter and me and Isabel are married and Siree's our kid"
"Right" sighed Isabel as she went to wake up her sister in law. All of them got out and began to long walk into town.

After Maria passed out her mom had taken her upstairs, if this was something alien then she didn't want anyone discovering her new identity. Amy went downstairs to close up the shop when she heard Maria scream for her
"MOM!" she yelled she had woken up and looked out the window to see Michael carried a little girl in his arms. Not only that but Max, Liz and Isabel were walking with him Amy burst into the room and hurried over to Maria
"What's wrong? What is it?"
"Please tell me I'm not seeing things. Tell me that's Michael down there" she said pointing to them. Amy's mouth fell open
"Oh My God" she gasped "It's them!" that was all Maria needed to hear. She raced out of the room and down the stairs barefoot and out onto the street
"Spaceboy!" she cried racing into the road, cars swerved to miss her and she reached the other side and threw her arms around Michael
"Oh My God Maria. Maria" he said as he held her. Sandwiched between them was Siree who was being hugged by her mom and dad; she'd never felt happier than she did right there. She pulled back and looked at the little girl
"You're Siree" she whispered like she was remembering something from a long time ago
"Hello Mama" she replied softly "I'm Sirenity your daughter" Maria plucked the little girl out of Michael's arms and held her close
"Michael she's beautiful!" she exclaimed then looked around "Quick come out of the street" she said pulling them across the road and into the now closed alien store. There were hugs all round as they were reunited then Amy began with her questions
"How did you get here? Does anyone else know you're here? Who are the little girls?" she played twenty questions them Max smirked
"We drove in old Betsy till she broke down. No one knows we're here and the girls are Sirenity and Julie. The FBI caught up with us and killed her mom in the process. She hasn't let go of him since" he said looking down
"I'll call the garage and have the van towed" said Isabel
"Oh call Kyle and see if he's okay. Maria passed out earlier and I thought it might be something alien"
"What?" gasped Michael
"We were out in the desert. Kyle and me, we were so dehydrated we were nearly dead and Sydney healed us... we're going to turn now and I think it's already happened" she said explaining it all "That kid is so strong"
"Like Siree" whispered Michael looking down to the girl in his arms "She was healed in Phoenix then her parents tried to stop her from being taken. I looked after her and she wanted me to be her father, I couldn't say no"
"Siree sent me a message off her. The answer is yes Siree I will be your mama" Maria smiled
"When was this? What message?" demanded Amy
"Remember when Sydney ran away and came to our house and I held her till we both fell asleep on the couch. The reason she ran away was to give me the message off Siree. She was asking if I would be her mama since Michael was her papa" she explained
"I'm not sure I like the idea of you having a daughter at an age so young..."
"Mom, I've been shot at. Hunted by evil aliens and the FBI, I've died and been brought back to life by a human-alien hybrid child cured from cancer by the King of Antar I think having a daughter at nineteen is something normal compared to the rest of that"
"Gramma" whispered Siree as she looked over at Amy then held her arms out reaching over for her. Amy took Siree in her arms and smiled
"My Grand Daughter! Oh you're so beautiful! Here let me get you some lolli's from the back" she said as she carried Siree off into the back. Maria rolled her eyes and Michael shook his head in disbelief
"Is there somewhere were I can lay down?" asked Liz with a yawn
"Sure there's a bed upstairs" said Maria Max, Liz and Jilly went off upstairs and Isabel excused herself and went back outside leaving Michael and Maria alone she grabbed hold of him and kissed him senseless. They kissed without stopping then held each other in their arms
"I love you. God I love you and I missed you so much" said Michael as he stroked her hair.

"Is...Isabel?" he whispered and she froze turning round slowly. Her heart leapt up to her chest; so much had happened and he was here. Right in front of her alive!
"Oh My God Kyle" she cried throwing her arms around him "I missed you so much" he just stood there frozen. So many things were running through his head, they'd never tried to rescue them from the White Room. Deep down it had been the four of them... the four proper aliens and Maria and him had been on the outside but it was different now, everything was different. He put his arms around her and smiled
"I missed you too" he told her as they hugged "When did you get back? Is it over? Have the FBI given up?" Isabel pulled back
"I've not been back long, we stopped at Maria's after the van broke down" she explained Kyle chuckled and nodded "We're not staying" she said sadly "The FBI... it's never going to be over Kyle they'll always come after us"
"So this is... this is just a quick run through"
"It's harder... we have kids with us now"
"Kids... Max and Liz didn't..." he began to ask but she shook her head "Not you and Michael?!"
"Christ Kyle no! Some girl called Sirenity who was in the White Room with us, she helped us escape. She was one of the kids Max healed in Phoenix... and some girl who lost her mom in one of our crossfires. The poor kid hasn't let go of Max since he saved her life"
"What happens when it's time to go? Can you really leave again?"
"I don't have any choice... they picked us out. We'll never be safe"
"Let me come with you"
"What? Why Kyle? You've been here safe and sound... why would you risk that again?"
"Because I wasn't safe and sound... I died. Sydney had to lead my soul or whatever back to my body! I was dead Isabel, and she brought me back. Now that's some major power she poured into me. I've been given a double whammy of alienness. I'm an alien now and so is Maria... I don't know what she wants to do but I'm going staying here when you go... I... I care too much about you to loose you again" he said putting his feelings on the table, she picked them up
"Kyle... I've loved a lot of people... I'm a married woman and I've come a long way. I missed having Alex in my life... I won't do that again" she put her hands on his shoulders leaned forward and kissed him.
From the little window across the road stood a very stunned Jesse Ramirez, not only was his wife back in town but she was back and kissing Kyle Valenti... they guy she'd been asleep with... he couldn't help jealousy rise up in him.

Max laid Jilly down but she wouldn't let go of him. He tried to unwrap her arms from around his neck but her grip just got tighter
"Jilly you have to let me go" he said but she shook her head "It's okay to let me go" she slowly let go of him and he pulled back quickly before she could change her mind
"I don't want the bad men to hurt you too" she whispered
"They won't" said Liz as she sat next to Jilly "We won't let them"
"But what about my mom?" she glanced to Max for help but he didn't know what to say either. Then Max smiled warmly and leaned closer a bit
"Those bad men were going to hurt you... but your mommy couldn't let that happen so to protect you she stopped them from hurting you. She knew what was going to happen that's why she told you to come to me, she knows I can protect you and that's what she wanted so you're going to stay with me" he looked up and Liz who just nodded "Me and Liz and we'll look after you now okay?" she just nodded as he pulled the blanket up over her "Try get some rest"
"Okay" she replied as she came down from the shock of it all.
