Great Chapter!!!! Please please please please please please please please please come back and post more really really really really soon? I can't wait to read what will happen next for Max and Liz. I'm glad Liz is having a great start to her birthday. I think it is good that Liz and Kim are going to the support group for what Richard did to them. So maybe this Brian Larson is the guardian angel for Kimberly and Liz. Hopefully Brain Larson can protect Liz, Kim, Max and friends from Sean and Tess. Can't wait to read what will happen between Max, Liz at the birthday party. And who is going to get Sean and Tess before they do something to Liz and Max.

Liz and Kim headed back to Kim's car after leaving the support group. Kim was unlocking the doors when she heard someone call her name.
"Kimberly?"
Kim turned to see a man that stood just over six feet tall with soft blue eyes and short light brown hair. She smiled when she recognized him. He had filled out nicely since she had last seen him. Gone was the skiny lanky teenager. Instead a strong muscular man stood before her. He had changed a lot but she had never forgotten those eyes.
"Brian Larson." Said Kim
"Hello Liz." Said Brian
"Hi." Said Liz
"How are you Kim?" Asked Brian
"OK. The trial was really hard. But I am doing ok." Said Kim
"Good. What about you Liz? That night I got called to your apartment you were in really bad shape." Said Brian
"Well I have healed physically. But emotionally it's taking more time." Said Liz
"I can understand that. I want you to know that when I saw you laying on the floor unconscious and not moving covered in bruises and bleeding I wanted to snap that bastard's neck." Said Brian
"In a way I wish you had. But I am also glad you didn't. We need good men like you out here keeping us safe." Said Liz
"Liz is right we need more people like you Brian." Said Kim
"Thanks. Kim, uh I don't know how long you are in town for now that the trial is over. But I was wondering if maybe you would like to have dinner with me?"
"Brian, I don't know. I have a daughter and I don't know if my sister can babysit." Said Kim
"Brian are you off Friday night?" Asked Liz
"Yeah."
"Kim, will go out with you Friday. Kim, bring Beth over to my house. Between, Serena, Alex, Sarah and me she will be in good hands." Said Liz
"OK." Said Kim
"Great!" Said Brian
They exchanged numbers and then Liz and Kim went to pick up Beth before heading back to Liz's for the party. Liz followed Kim up to her parent's front door. The door opened and they were both face to face with Kimberly's father.
"Kimberly, I believe I told you that bastard child of yours was not welcome here." Said Mr. Peters
"Jess, was just babysitting for a little bit." Said Kim
"Next time it better be at your place. Now get the brat and get out of here." Said Mr. Peters
Kim went into the house to get Beth. Liz looked at the man in front of her and couldn't believe that this man was treating his own daughter this way.
"Mr. Peters, how can you treat Kim like this! What happened to her wasn't her fault!" Said Liz
"What your stepfather did wasn't her fault. I understand her not wanting to kill an innocent life. All she had to do was give that kid up for adoption."
"That is your granddaughter you are talking about!"
"It's a reminder that my daughter fucked up her life."
"She didn't mess up her life. Kim, is a strong loving person. I am glad to have her as my friend."
Just then Kim came back to the door with Beth carrying a drawing, and Jessica following.
"Aunt Liz!" Yelled Beth
Liz smiled and bent down and hugged the little girl.
"Hi Beth." Said Liz
"This is for you. Mommy said today is your birthday." Said Beth hand the drawing to Liz.
Liz took the drawing and saw two stick figures holding hands and smiling. One she could tell was a girl with long brown hair with a purple skirt on and pink shirt. The other was a boy with darker hair with blue pants and green shirt. The names "Liz and Max" written neatly under them. She knew Jess had to have written it for Beth.
"Thank you Beth. I love it." Said Liz
Liz, Kim and Beth headed out of the house. Jessica followed.
"Kim, remember just cause dad doesn't want Beth around, doesn't mean I don't. I love both of you." Said Jess giving Kim a hug.
"Thanks Jess." Said Kim
"Liz, if you need anything, let me know." Said Jess
"Thanks."

Great Chapter!!!! Please please please please please please please please come back and post more really really really really soon? I can't wait to read what will happen next for Max and Liz. The Brain guy is really sweet and caring guy. I'm glad that Brain cares so much for Liz and Kim. And Brain wants to be there for Liz and Kim. Mr. Peter's is a major asshole for being very mean to Kimberly and being a rude ass about his grand daughter. I love the picture Beth made for Liz's birthday. That was very sweet and kind of Beth. I like how Jess is with Kim and Liz. What will happen when Liz and Kim get back to the house? Will Liz be happy to see everyone? Will everyone have a good time? Hehe, really no excuses for Kim now that Liz has volunteered to take care of Beth.
But really, what kind of horrible father does Kim have? It doesn't matter that he says he understand that it was not Kim's fault that she was raped and got pregnant - he must still think so deep down otherwise he wouldn't have treated her like something he found under his shoe.

Max watched as Liz started to open her gifts. He just loved seeing her smile.
"She does care about you." Said Kim sitting next to him.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Max, just take things slow. Liz is a little scared of what she feels."
"I'm in love with her Kim. I want to make her happy. I want to show her how a man should love a woman."
"She is doing better then I was for a long time."
"You doing better?"
"Yeah. My dad is kind of an ass but other then that yeah. I am actually going on a fate Friday. It's with a guy I really like. One I had always wanted to ask me out."
"That's great. So your sister going to watch Beth?"
"Uh no. Liz said someone here would."
"That's good."
"Yeah. I think you should ask her out."
"She keeps telling me she doesn't want to be more than friends."
"Max, Liz was always one of my favorite kids to babysit. Even with the way her stepfather has treated her she still that kind sweet loving girl."
Just then Liz walked over with one of gifts. He saw it was the neckless he got her.
"Hey Liz." said Max
"Hey Max."
"So uh do you like it?"
"Yeah it's beautiful. I was hoping you would help me put it on."
"Sure."
Max took the neckless from the box and opened the clasp. Liz turned her back to him and let him put it around her neck. Max's hands gently brushed over her collar bone. Liz turned to face him and smiled. She raised herself up on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
"So what did you get?" Asked Max
"Alex, made me a CD with all my favorite songs. Maria and Isabel both got me new outfits. That I really like. Serena got me this book I have been wanting. Sarah got me a journal. Your mom got me a nice blouse."
"That's great. So you like everything?"
"Yeah I do."
"That's great. So you are enjoying your birthday?"
"Yeah I am for the first time in a long time."
"Great."
"Max, what is going on?"
"Well uh Liz the thing is I really want to take you out to dinner and uh maybe a movie."

He then opened the closet to hide and wait for the chance to finally have what was promised him. It was time that bitch paid for what she did. Thanks to her and those other lying bitches his Uncle Rich was going to spend a long time in prison. Something that didn't deserve to help him. All he cared about now was that Harding could keep that loser Evans from coming back.
