OCC: Ok, folks we really need a Michael and Tess post. I know that Ali's still having computer problems though. Ali, if you're reading this at all, if you can't take time to post yet with your schedule, we understand, but would you mind if we post once for each of your characters to keep things running?

I feel my heart do a funny little flip at his list of things he likes, but then he said it all so quietly maybe I misheard or am misinterpretting it. When he grabs my arm and begs me to keep talking to him, I think that is an excellent idea. "K-keep talking, yeah, good idea!" I tell him nodding my head. "Uh, let's see my friends. Um, I guess I don't really have a lot of close friends. Maria, Tess and Isabel are pretty much it when it comes to close girl friends..." Think Liz! You need to keep your mind and his off of what's happening.

This is all well and good to say until the ride jerks backwards and we're back to where we were a couple of minutes ago. I gasp and clutch onto Max. Then I notice he looks a little green again and say rather loudly, "Why don't you tell me more about your work? Or medical school? Was it really hard?" I've noticed that he lights up when he talks about being a doctor and maybe if I get him talking about it, we'll both get lost in the conversation.

ARGH!

"Um...lets not talk about that! Uh... So.... Alex and Isabel huh?! My best friend and my sister... what a...fun situation... and hey Kyle and Tess....Maria and Michael....everyone's busy pairing off...."
I give a very scared laugh. This is NOT good!

I can tell Max is starting to panic and I can't honestly blame him. I take his clammy hand and squeeze it in reassurance. "Yeah, it does kind of look like everyone is pairing off doesn't it?" I agree. Think, Liz! Keep him talking. "Uh, so tell me a story about you and Isabel growing up...something funny or happy." There, that should not only help take his mind off of where we are but also maybe help start he and Isabel on the road to reunion. I gently squeeze his hand again and again, trying to keep his attention on me and not how high we are. Maybe I should call Isabel or Alex or somebody and let them know where we are. I will as soon as I get Max calmed down somewhat.

Occ: Ok, I was trying to wait on a Tess post before I posted for Kyle again but since Ali seems to still be having problems catching up, I'm gonna post one Tess post and one Michael post to try to catch them up. Yeah, they'll be kinda long. Any objections? Anyone else want to do the temp posting for Michael or Tess? Ali, hon, I hope you're ok with this! I'll wait a little while before posting for your responses.

I stand by Alex's side while he dials Kyle's number and idlely look around at the crowds.After a few seconds I start tapping my foot impatiently and give him a questioning look.

"Maybe you should try Max." I suggest "Or I can try Liz's number."

When Kyle doesn't answer, I put my cell away, scanning the crowds for a moment, not really expecting to spot one of my friends.

"Maybe you should try Max." "Or I can try Liz's number." Isabel says, tapping her foot in impatience. She looks so cute.

"I think Liz might be the better choice, I mean, she's the one responsible for the whole thing, so she probably needs to have her phone with her in case some emergency comes up."
