I chuckle at Isabel's words. "Yeah, well, you aren't all that far from the truth. I admit that I am a bit of a playboy, but not as much as I let everyone believe." I dip her playfully before adding, "As for Tess and I, I'm not really sure. She seems like a really sweet person. And obviously I find her absolutely beautiful. You seem to know her pretty well. What's she really like?"

"Well let's see" I think for a moment when Kyle asks me about the kind of person Tess is,"Tess and I became friends pretty much instantly in high school but she's not like that with everyone.She's smart,shy and reserved,very determined and a wonderful friend.And...she is also a romantic though she won't tell you.SO you better not hurt her Kyle Valenti else I'll come after you." I say that last part in a mock threatening tone

"Actually, I don't really see any, maybe some light smudgings but thats it. I think Kyle was mainly trying to tease you."

"Figures." I mutter with a shake of my head, rubbing my hand over my mouth briefly. "Do you mind if I hang out with you for awhile? You are one of Isabel's friends so I'd love to get to know you - especially since Kyle seems to like you. Besides, Max might not want to kill me around you because I got closer to his sister."

Alex

Following Tess' line of vision, I laugh. "Yeah, I guess you are right. Right now, I'm safe but ... you can never know when those sneaky big-brother-tendencies start to strike."

I briefly look towards Kyle and Isabel before turning back to Tess. "Okay ... lets get to know one another. Do you want to know anything special about me before you allow me to date one of your friends or are there any big secrets that Isabel has which you want to share with me?"

I grin when Tess says she doesn't mind me dating her friend. True, it isn't really her decision but it would suck if Isabel's friends don't like me.

"As for any big dark, secrets that Isabel might have I really don't think they are any, but if there were she'd tell you soon enough."

"Great, I've never been into women who are totally mysterious and living life on the edge." I say with a wink.

"How did you and Isabel meet?"

I roll my eyes at her threat. "Believe me when I say that it's completely unnecessary to threaten me. I have no intentions of hurting Tess. I just hope Liz hasn't told her too much about me," I say only half joking. "And if you tell anyone this, I'll have to do something horrible to you but I also happen to be a romantic at heart. This information can't leak out, though, it might get me teased by the guys for hours!" I groan dramatically and spin her around.

I make the mistake of looking up into his eyes and I gulp as I get lost in them. God, he's gorgeous! How is a woman supposed to resist such temptation? When his question registers, I grin. "I'll live, I suppose. You must not be all rock hard muscle," I tell him. Wait, that sounded a lot like flirting to me. I'm not supposed to be flirting with him!

"And if you tell anyone this, I'll have to do something horrible to you but I also happen to be a romantic at heart. This information can't leak out, though, it might get me teased by the guys for hours!"

I laugh at his revelation.Kyle Valenti,a romantic!Who would have thought of such a thing but sometimes when you leasts expect it people surprise you.
"Oh I have no doubt you will be the butt of their jokes for hours,especially my dear brother's but I don't think you'll have to worry about Alex.Michael,I can't say."

Looking around the room I spot Liz and Max,"I wonder when Liz thinks she's going to start the games she said she had planned for this evening.The ones she comes up with are always a whole load of fun."

Isabel is a lot of fun and she seems sweet. I can see what Alex likes about her. I look over at Liz and Max and grin. "I don't know. Knowing Liz though, it won't be too much longer. I like the fact that she always starts with the...tamer games and then builds up to the most risque of them. She's a mess."

Uh oh...Liz's games are dangerous and knowing her she will be up to no good.I bet she'll try and put Alex and me in a tight spot and make us do something crazy."Her games are unpredictable,I agree with you there." Suddenly I am not so comfortable anymore,I just hope she doesn't have anything to way out planned for tonight.

I can see the fear come over her as she kind of stiffens up and her smile seems a little forced now. I laugh. "Don't worry! Remember that she never forces anyone to participate and it's always just fun, everyone usually remembers that."
