I smile back at Isabel, telling her that it sounds great.
"Let's go socialize before people think we're stuck up."
"Yes Ma'am." I say, giving her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Hey you two! What's cooking?"
"Hey Kyle! I hope you are behaving yourself." I tease my friend, hoping that he has been a good boy and wasn't fooling around - like me. Hehe, that would be a first, me fooling around while he's a good little boy. Normally, it's the other way round.

I laugh at his pout and decide to give him a little taste of exactly what he has in front of him. I allow him to pull me closer and I wrap my arms around him, highly aware of the jasmine perfume I put on earlier. Then I lean in and lightly brush my lips over his neck, taking a deep breath so that he thinks I'm simply trying to take a wiff of his cologne. "Nice cologne. Clean and crisp smelling. What is it?" I ask, wondering if I'll have the affect on him that I usually do with this kind of proximity. Hell, nothing else has worked so far.

I grin at Alex and elbow him lightly. "I know I've been behaving myself. I like the new look, Alex but I don't much care for that shade of lipstick on you, personally. Clashes with your shirt," I tease him. It's obvious what he and Isabel have been up to. He turns beat red and I just laugh.

As I bring her closer, I can't help but smell the flowery smell of what I presume is her perfume. For a moment I forget that I'm working with a pro here, and have to close my eyes for a split second as he lips brush my neck, and then taking a deep breath to smell my cologne.
"Nice cologne. Clean and crisp smelling. What is it?"
"Uh..." I say for a moment, almost forgetting with her being so close to me. "Armani Acqua di Gio Pour Homme" I state as I quickly decide how to play her at her own game. But instead of using the tact that I have to get closer to her to smell her perfume I state, "Where as yours is a flower... now I'm no expert but... jasmine?" I say with a smile. I gently take a strand of her hair and tuck it behind her ear in a way that cries out sweet flirtation but nothing too over the top. Let's see how subtly works on her.

Armani. The man has taste. His hand brushes my hair behind my ear and I get shivers up and down my back. I look up at him and I find that I'm getting lost in his eyes. Then his words catch up to my brain and I shake off the hypnotic mood. "Very perceptive, Dr. Evans. It is indeed jasmine oil. I hope you like it." I make up my mind right then and there to enjoy my time with Max Evans. Yes, I want to win this bet but if I don't...so what? I'll have fun no matter what. Don't get me wrong, I'm still trying to win but I'm not as concerned about that anymore. I'm gonna be myself and if he goes for it...yippee for me.

I'm about to reply when Isabel speaks up, "What? He was dancing with some over eager slightly drunk girl until I rescued him."
I turn to stare at her in surprise before turning back to Kyle with a smile. Now that I know that she is not as cool about Kyle's comment as I thought she was the whole situation is a lot easier for me.
"Guess you finally started to rub off on me."
"Care to dance Kyle?" Isabel asks my unsuspecting friend and i turn to Tess with a smile.
"Would you like another drink Tess?"

"It's very nice...perfect for you" I murmur huskily. I let one of my hands rest on her hip, whilst my other hand holds her a bit higher up her side. Not so its in a... naughty position, but so that it rests gently half way up her side.

Then I realize that she didn't correct Isabel's comment about me being her date. I grin at that. Well, I'm certainly not going to correct her thinking. I take Isabel out on the floor and spin her a little before pulling her lightly into my arms. "So you and Alex seem to be getting cozy," I tease her.

Wait, I have his attention? What exactly does that mean? I'm not sure if I trust myself on the dance floor with him, maybe I should go with the drink. "How about the drink? I don't much feel like dancing at the moment," I reply. I turn to the guy behind the bar and ask for a tequilla sunrise.

My skin feels like it's on fire where his hands are touching me...and he's not even touching me in a sexual way. My right hand slides up the back of his neck to play with his hair a little and I feel him shiver just slightly. Oh yeah, definitely gonna get this guy in the end. Trying to keep conversation going between us, I ask, "So what made you decide to go into medicine?"
