"Why did you leave!?" My mom asks my angrily. She's moved from teary-eyed, to mad, and now to downright pissed off. Half the Crashdown is staring at us by now.
"I had...issues to deal with." I say.
Smooth, Liz, real smooth.
"That's not good enough!" My mother shouts at me. "How could you do this to us!? We're your parent's, Liz! You abandoned us!"
And that's when Max walked in.
Yay, I really feel like a freak now. I run a hand through my hair and let out a small sigh before answering her.
"I'm sorry, mom." I say. And by now I'm well aware that I'm repeating myself. "I really am. I screwed up, big time and I trust me I know it. You know, If could turn back time...actually I don't know if I would of done the same thing again but you have to know that I'm really sorry that I didn't call you guy's. I wanted to, I swear. There's not a minute that passed by that I didn't think about calling you guy's to let you know that I was okay. That I was fine."
I fucked up and I know it. What more am I suppose to say now? I doubt there's anything I can tell them that will make them forgive me.

I walk into the Crashdown and immediately hear the shouting. When I walk in Liz sees me and turns back to her parents.
"I'm sorry, mom. I really am. I screwed up, big time and I trust me I know it. You know, If could turn back time...actually I don't know if I would of done the same thing again but you have to know that I'm really sorry that I didn't call you guy's. I wanted to, I swear. There's not a minute that passed by that I didn't think about calling you guy's to let you know that I was okay. That I was fine."
Liz screwed up? How could Liz screw up, she was only away about 12 hours....
And then I realise she mustn't have called since she left Roswell all those years ago. I look at them and go forward.
"Mr Parker, Mrs Parker, can I just say something...for the record. Liz may have left but that wasn't her fault. I don't really want to go into that, but if she didn't call then Im sure she had reasons why she didn't. And you can tell that shes sorry. Sometimes you just have to forgive people for there mistakes."
I then realise how stupid that sounds coming from me, who can never forgive himself, but thats a different kettle of fish. Forgiving someone else is completely different from forgiving yourself. And its not as if Liz will ever forgive me, even a little.
"Don't waste whatever time you have each other...you never know when things will end....how much you'll miss it when your gone. How it will change you...in ways you can't imagine"
Like when Liz left. I changed. And I have no idea how to get back to that.
I look up at them and shrug. "Anyways...I think Isabel will be outside by now so..."
I turn around and start to walk out of the Crashdown.

He pauses and takes a small step back. "Anyways...I think Isabel will be outside by now so..."
I watch him as he turns around and heads out of the Crashdown. I hadn't expected for him to step in, but I'm glad he did. Maybe now my mom can stop yelling, if only for a couple of seconds.
"I am sorry, you know." I say quietly. "I never should of left you guy's. You have no idea how much I'm kicking myself for it."
"No, I'm the one who should be sorry." My mom says with a small sighed. "I shouldn't of yelled like that. I love you , you know that? And I do forgive you. It's just been a though couple of year's for me and your father and I."
"I'm sorry." I say as I pull her ad my father into a hug.
"You know, Max was right." My mom says to me. "We shouldn't be fighting about any of this. We should we spending some time together, like Max said, you never know when thing's will end."
"Your right." I say, putting a small smile on my face.
"Which means I want to hear everything's that you've ben up to for the past couple of year's." My mom says. "We can sit, have a milkshake and you can tell us everything you've been up to."
"Uhh," I say. "Um, sure, why not? But before I do that, you guy's don't mind if I go see Max for a sec? There's just something I have to tell him."
"Sure," My father says. "We'll be right here. And come back quickly, we want to hear everything' you've been up too."
I smile weakly. Great.
I turn and head out of the Crashdown where I immediately spot Max by the Jeep. I walked over to him and he turns around.
"Hey," I tell him. "I just wanted to thank you for that whole speech you said in there. What you said seems to have done the trick. And now they want to hear my life story, everything I've been up to. But, anyway's, thank you."

I go out to the jeep and stand by it waiting for the slaughter to begin. God shes going to kill me...but like I told her she cant really make me feel anyworse than I do right now.
And with that I hear footsteps and I immediately know its Liz. I just know it. Its like my Liz radar is already back in focus. I use to have one before...even before that first day at the crashdown, when my life began...
I turn around and as expecred its her. I lean against the jeep and look down.
"Hey, I just wanted to thank you for that whole speech you said in there. What you said seems to have done the trick. And now they want to hear my life story, everything I've been up to. But, anyway's, thank you."
I shrug still look at the floor.
"Its ok" I say quietly. "You don't have to thank me Liz. You never have to thank me. Not after..." I drift off and mutter "No need to thank me"
I look round as though Im looking for Isabel, but its just an excuse to look at something else.
"Erm so Isabel's on her way....shes gonna kill me apparantly....you might want to go inside before the slaughter begins....I don't even know what colour my blood is" I joke.

I sigh and look at Serena. "Look, Im gonna go meet them at the Crash, come if you want to" I tell her as I start to walk off. I walk fairly briskly towards the Crashdown, and I can hear the footsteps of her following me. Good...I think...Im not sure any more.
We walk in silence, her following me the entire way there. And eventually we arrive at the Crashdown, where I see Liz standing by the jeep with her ex.
"Hey" I say awkwardly to announce my presence to the guy, since Liz has seen me and he hasn't.

I look up and see that Nathan dude. Immediately I want to go over there and kick his butt, but I know Liz doesn't want me to, so I leave it...for now.
Besides, at that moment I see Isabel.
I gulp.
"Oh this cant be good" I mutter.

I head over to Liz and give her a smile.
"Hey you ok?"

I try to keep my attention on Isabel, but hearing him talk to her...well...lets just say that my brain isnt all there at that moment...cos all I can think of is "Get away from my Liz!2
