ooc: patience will pay off... I'm at work at the moment, so don't have time to update just yet... in about an hour I'll try to update atleast James... then once I get home I'm going to my neighbors where I will be updating the ones I couldn't get too.... James will get Amy out... just please be patient.... and as to Jake... damn straight he's gonna rescue the damsel in distress don't forget too... Lia is in there... dampening the fire with water as well.

I can't believe that my dad is here already. But as soon as I heard my name called, i knew who it was. "James." When I turned I heard him asking, "Where's your sister? The others?"

"Marie and Lily are safe outside." I replied a moment before I hear Oliver's voice.

"Mr. Valenti!" I turned to see that Amy was with him and felt relieved that she was alright because that meant I could ease Lily's mind. "Help me..." Oliver began coughing and glanced around noting that the flames were still spreading, things were getting thick. "Help me get Amy out."

"Us out," I hear Amy add and can't stop from smirking.

"I will but how many are left in here? Have you seen any of the others?" My dad asks and for the first time in a long time I'm actually glad my dad is around.

"I haven't.... seen anyone," Oliver replied and then he added, "But I think I might be able to..." he hesitates a moment before continuing, "I think I can control the fire."

"It's most intense over here." My dad says, not even questioning Oliver and yet I can't help but wonder what the guy means. I mean... does he have powers too? Of course, that will have to wait until this is over. "James, you get Amy out of here, a door way is straight to your left. Oliver," I nod and watch him take Oliver's arm. "Let's see what you can do."

"Oliver?" Amy starts, "Im not leaving"

"Amy, listen to me. I'll be fine, but I need you to get out of here. I can't do anything if I'm worrying about you." Oliver tells her and I can't believe that I'm watching as he kisses her cheek before pointing in my direction, "Go with him. I'll see you later."

Amy kisses Oliver before looking at my dad, "Keep him safe" Then she turns her gaze to me. I'm ready to guide Amy away when my dad says something that catches my attention.

"Unless you or James can help dampen or control this fire, you really need to get out of here." Looking at my dad, I know that I'm going to have to plan on talking with him when this is over. "Go outside, find Marie and the others. Max and Liz are on the way, if anyone needs medical attention, get your father to help them."

Why would we go to Max? I'm not the only one that has that thought as I hear Oliver speak, "Why would we go to Amy's dad for medical attention?"

"And why would you think that Amy and James would be able to do what I can?" Good question, Oliver... I think to myself. " You know what," Oliver says after hacking a bit. "You'll have to tell me later. Now where should we go?"

Amy watches Oliver with a lovesick expression before saying, "Let's go." Instantly, I take her arm as we make our way toward the exit. We don't get too far when the fire ends up moving around us.

Glancing around, I can't help but try and see through the smoke. "SHIT!" Amy screams from beside me and then begins screaming for Oliver.

With my grip on her arm, despite the smoke making it difficult to breathe as well as see, I feel Amy crumble and shake my head. Leaning down, I lift her in my arms and tell her calmly, "We're going to make it, Amy."

Coughing, I glance about and decide that there is something I have no choice but to do. If I want to survive this and see to it that Amy does, I am going to have to concentrate. Focusing on the lowest section of the flames, I carefully maneuver it so one of my hands can extend some without releasing Amy.

Letting some energy build, I keep my focus and after a moment, thrust the energy toward the nearby wall. When I do, the wall bursts apart and the flames for a moment are lessened. Taking the opportunity I have, I carry Amy through the opening and then away from the building before setting her down carefully. "Are you alright, Amy?"

When Alex informs me that Kyle called and something was going down at the party where our kids are, I simply throw on the closest dress I can find and grab my keys. "I"ll drive." I say simply. My first thought is let my son and daughter be alright and the next was what if one of the kids somehow started it?

Once my husband has joined me in the car, I start the car and pull out of the drive, trying to be careful but not really heeding the speed limit. A fire? Why didn't I go? I should have been there, my daughter could have used the support... I shouldn't have let either of them go. If something's happened to them...

"What are we going to do..? What if they are hurt.?" I can't help but question aloud, feeling the fear gripping me.

When my husband tells me that our son called I'm shocked, but when he mentions the fact that there is a fire where our babies are, I can't believe it. I rush to get something on and join Kyle as he drives to the site. As Kyle rushes through the area to enter the building, I start wandering around, wanting to find out if our children are out and safe.

Sighting Marie with Liz and Lily, I sigh feeling partial relief before running over, "Marie! Are you alright? Liz, do we know anything about the others?"

I couldn't help but feel concern even as I caught sight of Max kneeling beside a child and if not for the long hair, I wouldn't have breathed evenly. "Oh, god... Liz... where's James? Where are the other kids?"

I can't locate Laura as I'm looking around, James, Amy, Oliver or my husband. Then I see Oliver come out and sigh. That's one more of them safe. My son? I can't help but drop to my knees as I wait, feeling concern edging through me.

"Do you know where they are?" Michael asks me while we're dressing. "I'll drive." Before I can reply, he rushes out of the house and I finish dressing, grab my cell phone and rush out to the car, climbing in and saying simply. "Where else would the party be, Michael? We've been there, the old Johnson factory."

I know snapping won't help, but at the moment I'm peeved because I just got home, had time with my husband, and now our kids are in danger, my husband can do all sorts of things to help and I'm just going to have to sit back and do nothing.

"Oh God, Michael... what if something's happened to our babies? I can't... I don't want to lose them..." I've missed so much, and now I can't help but pray that I've missed the only moments I'll ever have.

"You've got to get out of here." I hear someone say after running into me and I simply walk off, planning on doing exactly what I'd come to do. I'm going to search everywhere that I can and make certain people are safe.

Jake, once we know the place is empty, I'll make the pipes burst completely to help put the fire out. I hear Lia telling me as I continue to walk through the building.

"Anyone still in here?" I call out as I continue walking, every once in a while I use a small burst of energy to push the flames out of my way along with the smoke so I can see. Even still, I can't keep from coughing slightly, but there are things that need to be done and I aim to do them.

Suddenly, I catch sight of what looks like legs near a wall and rush over, leaning down. "Hey, are you okay?" I ask, not waiting for an answer as I take my shirt off and place it over the girls nose and mouth, lightly. Lifting her in my arms, I tell her simply, "Hold on to me."

I'm working my way back toward you sis. I've got a girl with me, don't know how bad she is...

I'll help clear the way, Jake. I hear Lia reply and a couple minutes later I feel sprinkles of water as I get closer, she's still holding the flames off. "Come on, Lia. Get out of here before the building collapses."

"No! I can't..."

I heard sirens, "Lia, now! There are sirens coming."

"Damn!" Lia's exclamation happens and then she says, "Get out, I'll follow you."

I don't know what is happening, but slowly voices sound as I seem to drift back toward waking. "Christina and Erik are over there, and I haven't seen the others," Tyler's voice is the first I hear and I feel some relief knowing my brother's alright and that his sister and him are okay. However, the bit about the others bothers me.

I try to move at first but my body doesn't seem to be caught up with my mind and instead I find myself just listening as people continue to talk. Eventually, I hear other's and slowly, I find myself opening my eyes to look up at Tyler and my uncle. "Tyler... Uncle Max... what happened?"

The scent in the air reminds me and my eyes widen, "Is everyone out safe?" I ask, not yet ready to move because I realize I'm in Tyler's arms and as I look at him, I give him a weak smile. "Thank you for saving me, Tyler."

"Danni, what happened back there?" Talan asks me as he helps me off the bike and I simply look at him, leaning against him slightly.

"I'm not sure. I... lost control." I sigh, "Let's go to one of our rooms and talk about it. I'm still not completely back to normal." However, before we moved, I leaned in and kissed Talan again, wanting to test myself, my senses, because a part of me was already wondering if it had actually happened and whether he had really been holding me.

After a moment, I draw back and simply wrap an arm around his shoulder, "My room or yours... it's up to you?" She paused a moment before adding, "Once we're relaxed we can talk about everything." She made certain that her wording showed that they could talk about the kissing and everything as well as what she'd done to that building.

I sputtered and coughed, trying to get up off the ground but the pain in my head was too intense. I didn't want to die here; I didn't want to die at all, but I was starting to lose hope. The smoke was so thick, and the flames were creeping ever closer. My head began to feel foggy, and my eyes started to drift shut.

"Anyone still in here?" I heard someone shout. I tried to call out to him, but all that came out was a hoarse cough.

"Hey, are you okay?" The guy asked, and suddenly he was leaning over me. I looked dazedly up into his face, noticing his light features and striking blue eyes.

"I...you--" I tried to speak, but I just ended up coughing more. He quickly removed his shirt and held it over my nose. I breathe deeply, thinking dizzily that his shirt smelled wonderful.


"Hold on to me." He commanded, picking me up and starting to walk. I wrapped my arms around his broad chest and clung to him. I was dimly aware of water hitting my skin.


"Come on, Lia. Get out of here before the building collapses." My unknown hero said, and I heard him have an argument with another voice, a female one. I kept my eyes closed, trusting him to get us out of here. I heard the sirens from a distance, and it seemed to be what the two were fighting about. I pulled back out of his arms a little, my mind feeling a little sharper than it had been before. I moved his shirt away from my mouth and looked up at him, just as the girl yelled, "Damn! Get out, I'll follow you."

"What... what's going on?" I asked him, my voice raspy. "Can we get out?"

"I was with her, but we got separated," Oliver says and looks around. "She was with James. Do you want me to try and find her?"

He moves to get up but I stop him with a hand on his shoulder. A great way for me to do a quick scan for smoke damage.

"No. You stay here. We need to keep you all together. I'll go look for them." I stand and walk to where Liz, Lily, Marie, and now Eileen stood by Kyle's SUV.

"I found some of them. Why don't you go and join them. Amy is with James. I need to go and look for them."

Just then a car pulls up behind mine. And Michael is the first one out. Just the person I needed. He can blast through the wall if we need to.
