Ava was quiet for a moment before she said, "I have an idea why don't we all go on a double date together?" Alex sighed, feeling like he just had this conversation with Rath. "Rath is a guy. I don't go around checking out guys"Alex moaned.
Alex waited to see if Maria was going to answer him or ask him twenty more questions about Rath. "Will you go?"Alex asked. "I don't know"Maria answered. She had to admit that Alex was making her a little curious. "Please Ria"Alex said. "Okay, I'll go, but I am not promising anything" Maria said. "Okay, we will see you in about an hour. Is that enough time for you to get ready?" Alex asked. "Are you saying I take forever to get ready? Yes I will be ready and are you picking me up here?"Maria asked all in one breath. "Yes. After we can come here, my parents are out of town for a month. You could spend the night."Alex said. "Okay sounds good See you later"Maria said. She hung the phone up to get ready.
Alex, Ava, and Rath arrive an hour later at Maria's house. Alex knocks on the door and Maria opens the door. Maria motions for them to come inside. They walk inside to her living room, Alex says, "Maria, this is Ava and this is Rath." Maria instantly notices that they look like Micheal and Tess. "Oh my god Alex, he looks like Micheal and she looks like Tess but with boy piercings"Maria exclaims. "We are their dupes actually"Ava explains. "So your Czechoslovakians?"Maria asks. "What?"Ava asks. Rath raised is right-eyebrow at her wondering what she is saying. "Yes"Alex answers. "Where are we going?"Maria asks not wanting to think about them being aliens or doubles of two of the pod squad. "How's Chinese, sound?"Alex asked. "Sounds good to me"Maria answered. "Me too, “Ava said. Rath shrugs his shoulders wishing they could have gone for pizza instead. "You will survive one day wit out pizza"Ava said.
"So you ready?"Alex asks. Maria nods her head yes following Alex, Ava and Rath to the front door. Alex opens the door holding it open for everyone. They went outside walking down the street to 'General chow's'. Alex holds the door open for Ava, who walks inside followed by Maria and Rath. They are lead to a table by the hostess, Alex sits down next to Ava, and Rath sits down next to Maria. They order their food and while waiting Maria decides to find out about Ava. "So are you with Alex/"Maria asks. Ava smiles saying, "Yes, I met him during the summer." Maria smiled, feeling happy for Alex. "Oh, that was when everyone went their separate ways after finding out about destiny. How did you meet?"Maria asked.
Ava smiled, thinking about the first time she met Alex. "Met him in a club in da city"Ava answered. She had noticed the frown cross her face when she mentioned the summer and wondered what she did over the summer. "What did you do?"Ava asked. "I became good friends with Max. He whined all summer over Liz not wanting to be with him cause he had a destiny to follow. I mopped around wanting to get Micheal's attention. Wondering how he could tell me he loved me, and just walk away"Maria babbled. "Did you tell him you loved him?"Ava asked. Maria shook her head no and said, "I just watched him walk away." "Why didn't you tell him?"Ava asked. Maria shrugged her shoulders not knowing why she didn't tell him.
Rath had been quietly sitting listening to the conversation between Maria and Ava."Ya doesn’t loves him, cause if ya hads ya woulda told him. Ya needs a man dats gonna treats ya right"Rath said. Alex gulped, when Maria turned looking directly at Rath. "That would be you?"Maria asked sarcastically. "If iz had ya, ya would never wants no one else"Rath said while looking deep into her green eyes. "Sure of yourself aren't you"Maria said. "Iz da man"Rath answered. "Wouldn't you wonder if I really wanted Micheal?"Maria asked."How far did ya get wit my dupe?"Rath asked. "We kissed"Maria answered. Rath smirked, saying, "dats it." Maria quickly got up out of her seat and ran out of the restaurant. She was confused a million thoughts running through her head. "I thought I was in love with Micheal, his double Rath comes to town, and now I don' know. It's like my whole world has been turned upside down. He mentions me screaming his name and I got all hot and wet." Rath gets up from the chair he was sitting in running out of the restaurant after her. "Ria wait"Rath yells. They break apart when they hear, "What the hell!" Maria and Rath look to see who yelled at them, only to find Micheal and Courtney. Micheal stared at the guy who had just been kissing Maria seeing he looked an awful lot like him. Ava and Alex had walked outside a few minutes after Rath, just in time to witness their kiss.
Even though Rath and Maria were no longer kissing his arms was still wrapped around her waist. Rath eyed Micheal carefully ready to fight. He was more tempted to blast the bitch holding Micheal's hand because he knew she was really a skin. "What do you care? Micheal aren't you with Courtney?"Maria asked. "Yes, I am but I am still your friend"Micheal answered. Maria tried not to laugh. "You are not thinking clearly getting involved with my dupe"Micheal growled. Micheal isn't worth the trouble." Looking at Courtney he says, "Take care of your man." Alex, Ava, Rath and Maria leave a flabbergasted Micheal.
"Let's go rent some movies and go back to my place"Alex said. "Sounds good"Ava said. "Thought we were going to the movies"Maria asked. "We were, but let's go do this instead. Next thing Micheal will do is tell the others"Alex said. Maria nodded her head yes, knowing that is exactly what Micheal would do. "I don't want to have a confrontation with them tonight. It will happen soon enough."Alex said.
Micheal watched them walking away, turning to Courtney he said, "I have to go talk to Max." Micheal walks down the street taking Courtney to her apartment. Once at the door, Courtney steps forward bring her mouth to Micheal's mouth giving him a chaste kiss. "See you later?"Courtney asked. She wanted to pick up where they had left off earlier. Micheal shrugs his shoulder not sure if he would be able to come back. "I have to go"Micheal says. He quickly turns around walking away from her heading to the Crash Down. He opens the door walking inside of the Crash down to find Max chatting with Liz.
Micheal walks over to the counter sitting down in the stool next to Liz. "Liz, did Alex tell you anything about his new girlfriend?"Micheal asked. Liz turned looking at Micheal wondering why he was asking about Alex's new girlfriend. She shook her head no, saying, "Alex isn't really talking to me. Maria would be the one to ask. Why do you want to know?"Liz asked. Micheal looks at Max saying, "We have a situation. We should have a meeting." Max sighs, saying, "Fine we can hold it at your apartment." "I'll call Alex and Maria"Liz said. She got up from the booth walking into the back room before Micheal could stop her.
Liz walked back into the diner with a puzzled look on her face. "Alex said no to the meeting and he said Maria was other wise entertained, whatever that means."Liz said. Micheal didn't want to think about what that could mean. "This is about them anyway"Micheal said. "What"Max and Liz both exclaimed in unison. "I called Tess and Isabel they will meet us at your apartment"Max said. He lead Liz out of the Crash Down followed by Micheal. Max climbed into the jeep behind the wheel. Liz climbed into the passenger seat and Micheal climbed into the back. Max turned the key bringing the engine to life, shifting the gears. He put the jeep into drive pulling the jeep back onto the road, heading to Micheal's apartment.
Micheal, Max and Liz walked into his apartment finding Tess and Isabel sitting on is couch waiting for them. "Are we waiting for Alex and Maria?"Isabel asked. "Alex refused to attend and Maria was busy"Liz answered. "Okay, Micheal what is this all about?"Isabel asked. "Two of our doubles are here, more specifically mine, and Tess's."Micheal said. "How does that involve Alex and Maria?"Liz asked. "Tess your double is Alex's new girlfriend. After what I witnessed earlier, mine is Maria's new boyfriend."Micheal answered. Isabel sat there quietly trying to take in the knowledge that Alex was moving on with his life. "So they are with our doubles"Tess said, not seeing the big deal. "Come on Tess, don't you see something wrong with that?"Micheal asked.
"No"Tess answered. "Of course you wouldn't see anything wrong with that"Liz said. "What's that supposed to mean Liz?"Tess asked. She got up from the couch walking toward the door. "Where are you going?"Max asked. "I'm going to go over to Alex's house, and talk to him, my double, Maria, and Micheal's double. Micheal you are just pissed cause Maria caught you with Courtney. Now she has decided to move on, which is something you never thought would happen. You thought no matter what Maria would be there for you to fall back on."Tess said. She saw the look of hurt flash in Micheal's brown eyes for a moment, but didn't care. "If Maria is happy with your double then I am happy for her"Tess said. She looked at Liz asking, "Did you say Maria was busy?" "Yes."Liz answered. "Then I am going home"Tess said.
Tess walked out the door and Liz stared at the door wondering why all of a sudden Tess seemed to be different. "You know that Isabel and Max's doubles will be here soon too"Liz said. "What does your double look like?"Isabel asked. "He has a Mohawk, some tattoos, and his nose and bottom lip where pierced"Micheal answered. "What about Tess's double? "I didn't see her that long to notice much other than she has purple hair"Micheal answered. "Punk versions of ourselves"Max said. He wondered what Zan would look like. "Since this meeting is over, Max you can give me a ride home"Isabel said. Max nodded his head yes, saying, "Micheal we wait and see what happens" "Of course you would say that"Micheal growled. "I'll drop you off at the Crash"Max said to Liz. Isabel got up off the couch looking at Micheal saying, "Max is right. We know nothing about them, but if Alex is with Tess's double, she can't be that bad, and I don't see Alex letting your double near Maria if he felt she would be hurt." Micheal growled knowing Isabel was right about Alex and Maria after all he had punched him knocking him on his ass. Isabel shook her head thinking, "You got what you wanted.", As she followed Max and Liz out the door of Micheal's apartment.
