I give her a small smile. She must be embarressed that she said that wrong and think that I would jump to conclusions that she likes me, which I know she doesnt.
And that doesnt bother me.
Or at least it shouldn't.
"Thanks...but do you realise the last person I actually dated and cared about was you?" I said. "I mean there was Vicki...but I mean...firstly we didnt really care about each other....and two, my dad went out with her, so that cancels her out" I say.
