ooc: Oh my gosh...Storm, I'm so sorry about not getting back to you. If you still need a Maria (and isabelle is willing to part with her) I could take her. I know I promised myself I wouldn't do anymore, but I couldn't resist one of your RPG's, so here I am...if you still want me.
P.S. Give me time to read and play ketchup.
P.S.S. Do we have a Lex? I don't recall seeing any posts from him.

LOL yes we have a Lex, there have been posts as well as JP's. In fact, another JP will be put up soon.
I'm going to be working on getting my posts up shortly I hope.... I'd had plans to get them out last night, however for some reason my net and phone were down but my cable was fine (and all three are digital cable based...)... so now I'm having to try again lol.

Pod Chamber
I couldn't believe that I was trying so hard to do what was needed when all I felt like doing was giving up. The others didn't know that I was responsible for Max's death, they had no idea how much it was eating at me. Along with that was the fact that I should have been able to protect Maria. I should have kept her safe. It's all my fault. The pain Liz feels, Maria and Max being dead. It's all my fault. "Liz, keep your focus!" I yell as Liz seems to start to once again fall into thought. Lifting my hand, I send a bit of energy toward her feet. "Losing focus will get you killed, Liz."
"I'm trying, damn it!" Liz calls and I hear the barely held in check tears threatening her.
I growl low and shake my head, "Go home Liz. We're done for the day." I hate feeling like I'm pushing her but I don't want to have her blindsighted. I want her safe. I owe Max that much. I couldn't stop what happened to him, but I'll keep Liz from being killed.
"Michael, are you coming over for dinner tonight?" Liz asks me and I turn to face her. She still looks so pale and empty. Her eyes were filled with sadness and I held my arms open, letting her rush into them and just embraced her. I'd been gaining comfort from her and she had from me, but no matter what neither of us could forget our pain.
"I'm sorry, Liz. I know I've been pushing you hard lately. About dinner, I don't think it's a good idea for me to go with you. I have to get Alex practicing too." I tell her as I walked with my arm around Liz's shoulder. "I'll drop you off at your parents and I'll see you tomorrow." I tell her before moving to open the passengers door for her. Once she climbs in, I close it and walk around to the drivers side, climbing in.
Starting the car, I began driving over the highway when suddenly I glanced in the rearview mirror and saw a strange woman sitting there. Quickly pulling over, I turned to see her and before I could react, her hand touched my shoulder and blackness enveloped me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Slowly, I feel a hand on my shoulder shaking me at the same time as I hear a voice singing in my ear, "Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping? Brother Mike? Brother Mike? Morning bells are ringing..." What a strange thing to hear when waking up? It takes me a while before I manage to open my eyes. Looking up, I see a young girl that is rather lovely but I have no idea who she is.
"Who are you?" I ask, my hand raising instantly although something tells me she's not hear to harm me. "How do you know my name?" I ask. I can't help but wonder these things. I mean, granted she'd called me Mike, but still even that much is something I wouldn't expect. While keeping my eyes on her, I scoot up into a sitting position and take in some of the surroundings. The pod chamber? How did I get here? I was in my car with.. Liz. "Where's Liz? What happened to her?" I question, my voice going hard as I was concerned that I had failed to protect her.
There was a time when I would have simply blasted and asked questions later, but ever since I gained the seal and along with it, Max's powers, I'd learned to temper myself.
Tai-San and Lex by: AerdrieMoonwind and StormWolfstone
JP 2 (3rd part)
“Babe now hold on a sec,” Lex stated as he watched her storm off pass him toward the mall. He managed to keep from tripping over his own feet, his head still felt a little muddled, but much clearer. As Tai-San walked up to the front entrance, Lex realized that the grill was up. He tried to stay behind her, but she had some kind of unspent energy that was making her move faster. He managed to grab the door as she went through before it slammed on him and his arm brushed against something, well to him it felt more like his arm hit something. Lex glanced back quickly over his shoulder to see what or who was there and saw no one and picked up his step to catch up with Tai-San.
Tai shook her head, she was trying very desperately not to think, but that was impossible. She wished more then anything that she had never returned to the mall, never known that her husband had cheated on her because it hurt too damn much and she was too confused on how she felt. Part of her wanted to knock him out and a part of her wanted to be held by him. When she walked in through the opened grille, she glanced around. Nothing seemed changed even with the way the city looked. She could hear voices from upstairs and turned to look at Lex, "Well, obviously there's someone here." She said as he neared her.
Peering over her shoulder as he walked up behind her, Lex looked over everything and nothing had changed as far as he could tell. Not that he was a stickler for tiny details. But if they had aged, surely something else had as well. But his mind refused to dwell on those things. If there was one thing he knew and knew well is when a woman was upset, the look on their face, if they stormed away avoiding to look someone in the eye. Zandra had many times when she was upset with him over many things, and most of them his fault, but Tai-San had that same look and feeling about her.
Lex reached out to grab at her arm, stopping her, “Babe… Tai-San, I said wait a sec, what’s wrong?” He tried to get her to turn back and look at him, just to see what expressions that played across her face, hoping to see something that may clue him in to just what was irking her.
Tai had just turned back away to try and decide just where to go, whether to investigate the voices or go into her room to see if all was as it should be. Her old room anyway, not the one she'd shared with Lex. Before she could step far, Lex's hand reached for her arm and stopped her movements and she didn't know what to expect, but his words caused her to stiffen. She lifted her chin and kept her gaze away from him even as she turned toward him. When she finally looked at him, she felt the freshness of the pain from his betrayal of their vows. "What's wrong? You have the nerve to ask me what's wrong?" She begins, her voice quavering with a mixture of anger and sorrow.
She shakes her head, "I come back after being kidnapped, I go to see my husband in the arms of another woman, and you ask me what's wrong. We took vows Lex. You vowed to be true to me and you cheat on me..." She balls her fists at her side, trying to hold back both of her urges.
His brow furrowed with deep lines, Lex had no inkling of what she was talking about, “Wha? What vows… you mean the vows me and Zandra said? You were there, I didn’t cheat on you… you married me and Zandra.” Lex only blushed slightly at what he was going to say, “You … and … well you did sleep with me once, for the good of the tribe, but that was before you married me and Zandra.”
He hated to think about all that had happened after Zandra’s and his brief time together, that she had been carrying his son, but Tai-San was spouting off things like madwoman, “You were there, when the Observatory blew up, Zandra… she… she…” his head lowered in guilt, he hadn’t watched out for her, hadn’t protected her as he should. Such a profound feeling to lose someone so dear and lose what chance he had to prove himself and to everyone that he would not become his father. “We didn’t find her… and my son… he… he… he died with her.” He closed his eyes tightly to keep any more tears from falling.
Tai shook her head, what was he saying? Did he get injured and forget about their marriage? He was talking about what happened with Zan as though it had only recently happened. "Lex, that was years ago. You and I got married a year after we lost Amber and Zandra, then we learned later that Amber was alive, Ebony had set it up to look like Amber had died." He truly looked as though he had no idea what she was talking about. Still, the thought that he had forgotten their marriage upset her, had her feeling tears threatening.
She must have really gone crazy, “I’ve never been married to you. It’s been only a couple of weeks ago when I lost Zan… no way!” he tried to look her in the eyes. “Me and you… together, you never gave me the time of day...” Lex was unsure if the alcohol had run it’s course yet, was his ears still playing tricks on him, “Amber isn’t dead, but … but… she was in there with Zan, she’s dead, how’d she get out, why didn’t Zandra survive?” Even though Lex knew that he had fallen off the horse lately, drinking too much, and staying away from mall as much as he could, he’d have remembered being with Tai, unless he had been out of his mind for that long? Couldn’t have been for years, “What are you talking about?”
Tai sighed, "Lex, did you get injured recently? I can think of no other reason why you wouldn't remember the last three years that we've been married. I didn't get involved with you after that one night because of Zandra, but after nearly a year, things changed. We grew closer but I denied things for a time because of Alice having feelings for you, I even tried to break it off but you were very convincing." Tai got a slightly wistful expression as she remembered how it had felt for him to hold her and talk to her as he did.
“Alice, you mean the one at the farm? I don’t know her.” The look in Tai-San’s eyes seemed rather odd for one who, yes, may be into metaphysical stuff, but she didn’t get the dreamy look of a love struck girl. “Are you sure you aren’t the one that’s been hit on the head? I don’t think I’d forget 3 years, with you.” His mind fell into the gutter a bit because he definitely wouldn’t have forgotten that.
Tai shook her head and turned away from Lex, not able to face him with how hurt she felt that he didn't remember. "Let's drop this subject because obviously we're getting nowhere." Her voice betrayed her as she heard her words break. She felt a tear slide down her cheek and attempted to remove her arm from Lex's hold since she had barely realized that his hand was there. How he couldn't remember their marriage or anything else since a couple weeks after Zandra died was beyond her and it felt as though she'd been crushed.
“Hey there, babe,” Lex turned her back toward him. He looked down at her, frowning lightly at the tear sliding down her cheek. He wiped at it with his thumb, “I’m not sure what’s going on, but hey there’s no need to cry, babe.” Lex truly hated to see such a pretty face full of sadness. A sadness he couldn’t fathom the cause, but if she truly felt that they had been together for three years, and somehow was made to believe it then…
“I’m still Lex, same smile, eh?” He gave his smiled down at her, “Same lame jokes.” He caressed her cheek, “Just as flirty.” With all that she had been saying, even if she may have gone all wonky, Tai-San wouldn’t be a bad catch. Lex did like her and he was sure about that. And he had definitely never let their one night together slip from his mind. Even so, whatever may be the truth for them both, he really didn’t want to be alone any longer. He wanted more than anything was to forget it all.
Tai-San had felt so warm in his arms earlier, but her skin was so much cooler now. He rubbed her bare arms, letting the heat from his hands warm her skin. He looked down at her, tenderness in his eyes and caring in his slight smile. But uncertainty of what he was doing seeped into his mind. He had this desire to comfort her, but was this right? He had the notion to pretend that all was well, play her game, but … He frowned it away and let the back of his hand, his knuckles stroke her soft cheek again before he pulled her closer to embrace her.
OOC: just a note.... yes we know that coupling is different, but as always, some things are subject to change and angst is always good lol.... so don't think this means anything at the moment about how things are going to go.... there are all sorts of things that can happen.
Tai-San and Lex JP by: Stormwolfstone and AerdrieMoonwind
JP 2 (Part 4)
Tai didn't want to look at Lex as he turned her back to face him. She was afraid that she'd lose all control, something that was rare and something Lex had only seen her do a handful of times. However, looking down at the expanse of his shoulders and chest wasn't helping either. Slowly, she lifted her eyes toward his even as she felt him wipe the tear that had begun to trail down over her cheek. She listened as he spoke, felt her heart catch at his smile and his touch. She felt herself melting, felt her resolve fading and simply looked in his eyes. As his hands slid over her arms, she sighed.
Still, Tai struggled internally, hearing a reminder inside of what she had seen. Yet, when Lex caressed her cheek yet again and then drew her into his arms, she found herself letting him. Her head fell to his shoulder and she closed her eyes. She let his comfort surround her even when a part of her screamed that he was a liar, that he was a cheat and this wasn't real. She felt as though she was making a mistake, letting herself get drawn in was only bound to cause her more pain. Another part of her though, felt as though this was Lex and she had forgiven him for other things. She'd forgiven him for nearly killing her with the crossbow, for accusing her of being intimate with the Guardian and for May's innuendos, so why couldn't she forgive him for sleeping with that girl?
It took Tai a few moments for her to get past her hesitation and place her arms around him. She told herself that she wouldn't let things continue, that she'd be fine as soon as she could focus. That if her room was still in the same order it was, she would shut herself in and re-center herself, get her charkas in order. Yet, still she let herself cling, tears falling silently. As always, she found herself growing uncomfortable with accepting comfort, and after several moments she drew back, her hands slowly falling away from Lex as she gave a tentative smile. "Thanks." She glanced around slowly, "We should go do something, figure out something..." She wanted to kiss him, to hold him and yet at the same time, the image of him and that girl flashed in her mind.
“Can’t let go yet,” Lex mumbles as he pulls her back to him, “just a little longer,” Lex felt her soften against him, enveloped in his arms so perfectly, and the scent of whatever she used in her hair was so tempting. He pulled back enough to cup her chin lightly and tilt up to him and kissed her soft lips ever so sweetly, wishing at that moment that his breath wasn’t tainted by whiskey. He kissed her closed eyelids gently and smoothed her hair away from her face. Something about this felt so right to him, Zandra had never felt this way against him and not as relaxed. It was little like a comfort drug, feed it enough and Lex would become addicted just as he had to the alcohol. He took a breath and let go, letting his fingertips linger on her arms before stepping away, “Okay then…yeah. Let’s go down to the rooms then?”
Tai-San shifts as Lex pulls her back to him and holds her again. She can't keep herself from smiling and relaxing against him. As he cupped her chin and pressed his lips against hers, she closed her eyes and found herself returning the kiss. The taste of the whiskey reminding her that he'd been drinking. The following gestures he did caused her to sigh, wanting to let things continue and yet wanting to do as she would have before, make him take an herbal remedy that would help cleanse his breath and take away any lasting effects of the alcoholic beverage.
Instead, she opened her eyes just as he stepped back, her form tingling as she listened to him respond, her mind turning to things that would be best forgotten. At least, that's what she has to convince herself of. She nods, "Alright." She turns and starts walking away, forcing her mind not to linger on the kiss. They both had rooms on the bottom floor, not too far from each others. When she came to Lex's, the only bottom floor room to have an actual sliding door on it, she stopped, "Should we meet out here once you've checked your room and I've checked mine?" She was tempted to go in with him.
Tempted to give him one more love making session, see if she could refresh his memory and yet she also knew that if she did, it would make it harder. Part of her waits to see if he'll invite her, to check it out with him, while the other part waits to be dismissed as though that brief moment was nothing to him. As though she was nothing to him.
Lex remembered that he had taken all of Zan’s things out of the room, except a couple of fluffy boas she liked, but with how things were going, he wasn’t sure what he’d find. Moldy food on plates, and empty bottles, which was what he remembered at least, “Nah, won’t take but a sec,” he told her, “mind you it may be a big mess.” Lex reached out for her hand slid open the door with the other. “Hey look at that, it’s clean, maybe Salene came in here and cleaned it all.” Everything looked the same, same bed with its comforter, burgundy painted walls, but no mess… and no Boas.
Tai-San looked around, the feeling of her hand in his made her confusion mount. But, as she looked around his room she felt herself shiver. There was definitely something off. The place was not set the same way it had been. The furniture wasn't set for positive flows as it had been when she had moved in with her husband. Only a bare amount of her belongings had remained in her old room. She couldn't understand what was going on around here she'd somehow ended up in a madhouse or something. "This has got to be a dream." She muttered, "Nothings as I remember. We've somehow grown up, had memories of different things and find that the city has changed as have our belongings. It's got to be some sort of dream."
Laughter suddenly sounded around them and as she watched only a hand appeared almost in front of them holding a sheet of paper. Tentatively she reached out and took the paper, looking at Lex as she read what was written, "What once was, is different when looked upon separately, just as you are not who the other thinks. Neither of you truly know the other, in the same way as your mind and heart might believe." Tai shakes her head, as she dropped the hand with the letter. "I have no idea what the hell that's supposed to mean." She noticed that the hand that had held it simply vanished.
"Now, I know this has to be a dream. A hand appearing and vanishing just doesn't happen in real life." Yet, Lex's hand on hers felt real, the brief kiss they'd shared had felt real, his arms around her had been real. "I need to realign my chakra that's all..." She trailed off and simply glanced down at the note in her hand again.
“Huh, odd thing that is, doesn’t make any sense, huh. Well, the room is different, it’s clean.” Lex walked around looking for items that were normally on tables and the dresser, but found only items that were his alone, nothing that had belonged to Zan. But being a guy, he didn’t care much for details, he had no idea if the furniture had been moved just that it was all the same stuff.
Lex took the note from her, looked it over, but couldn’t read it much anyway and laid it on the dresser. “Hey there, babe,” all he knew is that he wanted her to smile, to erase the frown that wrinkled her forehead and nose, still cute like but seemed unlike her. “If ya want to pinch me to hear me say ouch, or I’ll pinch you, I’ll gladly let you.” He leaned over to try to get her to look him in the eyes. He pinched himself rather hard first though, to tell himself, “Owww! See there! That hurt. Whether it’s a dream or not… at least we’re together, Babe.”
Tai looked at Lex as he spoke, his comments on pinching him had her trying not to smile, but as he pinched himself she couldn't hold back the soft laugh that escaped. As she spoke, she was shaking her head, "I'm not stupid enough to give you permission to pinch me, Lex. Since obviously, I have a husband that doesn't remember marrying me, I'm not going to be acting like the wife." Saying those words bothered Tai, but yet in another way she couldn't keep from remembering when she'd refused his attempts before and felt like she was in control. Of course, she hadn't felt in complete control since she'd fallen for him and decided to marry him.
"I need to go check my room and see whether everything is in order." She said suddenly, deciding that she needed to try and put some distance between them especially when her gaze had swept to the bed that she had shared with him time and again, her cheeks flaming.
“Wait, hold on there, babe.” This wasn’t leading where Lex wanted it to, he hooked her arm and pulled her to him, “Tai, help me remember, something’s happened, maybe I got hit on the head too hard, I don’t know.” He held her cheek in his hand, “I don’t like seeing you like this, it’s tearing me up inside.” At least that part was the truth. He kissed her forehead before pressing his cheek against it, holding her tightly to him.
“Do you wanna go look at your … old room, together? I don’t think we should go alone anywhere right now.” He wasn’t sure what the note had meant, his mind wasn’t all that keen on things, especially riddles. He crooked an eyebrow and pulled far enough away to look at her face, “Or we can stay here.”
Tai shook her head as she looked up at him. Was he really saying what she thought he was? She was tempted to give into it too. What if she did try to help him remember and when his memory returned he realized that he didn't love her? That could be the only reason that he could have cheated on her in the first place, right? Thing is, at this moment she was seeing the side of him that had drawn her to him in the first place. The side that he had rarely shown around others, tender and caring. "Lex, now is not the time for this...” She protested weakly, yet even as she spoke her arms were wrapping around his neck. 'No!' Her mind screamed with her limbs ignoring her. "I need to get my chakras in order. I can't do that with you so close...”
She found herself admitting these things and yet a part of her mind screamed for her to step back from him, release him. The other part of her simply relaxed. She looked in his eyes, feeling herself blush even as she gave him a slight smile. "I might be convinced though, Lex." She repeated a phrase she'd used a couple of times while they'd been married.
“You can wait till later to straighten those things out, I’m here right now.” Lex let instinct take over and kissed her, letting part of himself fall in, drowning, in that kiss. Tai-San was so warm and vibrant in his arms, an untapped energy just waiting for him to let it out. He let his kisses trail along the line of her jaw, breathing hot breaths on her skin and tender areas on the skin on her neck, tasting her here and there, and breathing over the wet places he left behind as he nuzzled a sensitive area behind her ear at the hair line. He moved his hands at the small of her back, his warm hands against her bare skin, pulling her closer to him.
In one part of his mind, he knew it was wrong to lead her on like this, but how she was responding to him was telling another part of him that she wasn’t acting like a bashful girl, but her face was that of a woman who knew what she wanted, Tai-San as a woman and he was a man now that needed things. He kissed the tops of both of her bare shoulders before returning to her soft lips that were so soft and swollen from his attention to them earlier. He pulled back to look at expression, knowing from her breathing that she was enjoying it, but that inner part of him was still unsure.
Tai-San sighed as she gave into the kiss, letting the sensations fill her. This was Lex. He might be older, he might not remember their marriage, but it was still Lex. At least, that's what her heart and senses were telling her. As his lips trailed over her skin she let her head tilt back, helping him with access while her hands slid over his back. When he recaptured her lips, she gave a soft moan against his lips, one hand delved beneath his shirt, nails tracing circular patterns over his back while the other hand moved into his hair. When he pulled back from her, she took a moment before she opened her eyes and looked at him.
Her desire for him was obvious in the depths of her eyes and the rise and fall of her chest. "Lex...” She breathed and with her head nodded toward the bed, silently telling him that she wasn't about to back down. She was enjoying this and if it turned out to be some strange dream or something, so be it. It couldn't hurt, could it?
Tai-San and Lex JP by: Stormwolfstone and AerdrieMoonwind
JP 2 (Part 4)
Tai didn't want to look at Lex as he turned her back to face him. She was afraid that she'd lose all control, something that was rare and something Lex had only seen her do a handful of times. However, looking down at the expanse of his shoulders and chest wasn't helping either. Slowly, she lifted her eyes toward his even as she felt him wipe the tear that had begun to trail down over her cheek. She listened as he spoke, felt her heart catch at his smile and his touch. She felt herself melting, felt her resolve fading and simply looked in his eyes. As his hands slid over her arms, she sighed.
Still, Tai struggled internally, hearing a reminder inside of what she had seen. Yet, when Lex caressed her cheek yet again and then drew her into his arms, she found herself letting him. Her head fell to his shoulder and she closed her eyes. She let his comfort surround her even when a part of her screamed that he was a liar, that he was a cheat and this wasn't real. She felt as though she was making a mistake, letting herself get drawn in was only bound to cause her more pain. Another part of her though, felt as though this was Lex and she had forgiven him for other things. She'd forgiven him for nearly killing her with the crossbow, for accusing her of being intimate with the Guardian and for May's innuendos, so why couldn't she forgive him for sleeping with that girl?
It took Tai a few moments for her to get past her hesitation and place her arms around him. She told herself that she wouldn't let things continue, that she'd be fine as soon as she could focus. That if her room was still in the same order it was, she would shut herself in and re-center herself, get her charkas in order. Yet, still she let herself cling, tears falling silently. As always, she found herself growing uncomfortable with accepting comfort, and after several moments she drew back, her hands slowly falling away from Lex as she gave a tentative smile. "Thanks." She glanced around slowly, "We should go do something, figure out something..." She wanted to kiss him, to hold him and yet at the same time, the image of him and that girl flashed in her mind.
“Can’t let go yet,” Lex mumbles as he pulls her back to him, “just a little longer,” Lex felt her soften against him, enveloped in his arms so perfectly, and the scent of whatever she used in her hair was so tempting. He pulled back enough to cup her chin lightly and tilt up to him and kissed her soft lips ever so sweetly, wishing at that moment that his breath wasn’t tainted by whiskey. He kissed her closed eyelids gently and smoothed her hair away from her face. Something about this felt so right to him, Zandra had never felt this way against him and not as relaxed. It was little like a comfort drug, feed it enough and Lex would become addicted just as he had to the alcohol. He took a breath and let go, letting his fingertips linger on her arms before stepping away, “Okay then…yeah. Let’s go down to the rooms then?”
Tai-San shifts as Lex pulls her back to him and holds her again. She can't keep herself from smiling and relaxing against him. As he cupped her chin and pressed his lips against hers, she closed her eyes and found herself returning the kiss. The taste of the whiskey reminding her that he'd been drinking. The following gestures he did caused her to sigh, wanting to let things continue and yet wanting to do as she would have before, make him take an herbal remedy that would help cleanse his breath and take away any lasting effects of the alcoholic beverage.
Instead, she opened her eyes just as he stepped back, her form tingling as she listened to him respond, her mind turning to things that would be best forgotten. At least, that's what she has to convince herself of. She nods, "Alright." She turns and starts walking away, forcing her mind not to linger on the kiss. They both had rooms on the bottom floor, not too far from each others. When she came to Lex's, the only bottom floor room to have an actual sliding door on it, she stopped, "Should we meet out here once you've checked your room and I've checked mine?" She was tempted to go in with him.
Tempted to give him one more love making session, see if she could refresh his memory and yet she also knew that if she did, it would make it harder. Part of her waits to see if he'll invite her, to check it out with him, while the other part waits to be dismissed as though that brief moment was nothing to him. As though she was nothing to him.
Lex remembered that he had taken all of Zan’s things out of the room, except a couple of fluffy boas she liked, but with how things were going, he wasn’t sure what he’d find. Moldy food on plates, and empty bottles, which was what he remembered at least, “Nah, won’t take but a sec,” he told her, “mind you it may be a big mess.” Lex reached out for her hand slid open the door with the other. “Hey look at that, it’s clean, maybe Salene came in here and cleaned it all.” Everything looked the same, same bed with its comforter, burgundy painted walls, but no mess… and no Boas.
Tai-San looked around, the feeling of her hand in his made her confusion mount. But, as she looked around his room she felt herself shiver. There was definitely something off. The place was not set the same way it had been. The furniture wasn't set for positive flows as it had been when she had moved in with her husband. Only a bare amount of her belongings had remained in her old room. She couldn't understand what was going on around here she'd somehow ended up in a madhouse or something. "This has got to be a dream." She muttered, "Nothings as I remember. We've somehow grown up, had memories of different things and find that the city has changed as have our belongings. It's got to be some sort of dream."
~Willow~
I'm not quite sure what's going on but it's as though as suddenly I get hit by a strange sensation of confusion and anger flowing through me and feel the energy in my shield dim slightly before strengthening. As Angel takes the sword from Xander, I breathe a sigh of relief. I was never good with the shield bit, but more then that I couldn't understand why Xander seemed to want to kill me.
When Xander goes to his knees, I quickly back up not yet letting the shield go since I'm still not certain whether it's going to be safe or not. "I dont know what the hell is going on, but being reckless is not helping" Reckless? He's calling Xander's actions just reckless? I can't help but think even as I watch him go over to help Xander. This seemed rather strange to me since I know Xander never got along with Angel. Yet, he seems to let Angel help him.
With a shake of my head, I let the shield drop and moved to a nearby chair to sit down. I notice Xander watching me as if I'm a monster and I can't help but reach for a mirror in the bag I have on my back. Getting into the bag, I pull out the mirror, glance in it and shrug before setting it aside. My attention averting to the strange young girl that spoke, "No fighting," She says and then adds, "It's against the rules."
I narrow my eyes wanting to ask her what she's talking about, "To market to market to buy a fat pig," she says, and just walks away.
I take a breath and glance over at the boy that the girl seemed to know, "Do you have any idea what she might have meant by that? She seemed to know you." I ask him even as I suddenly remember, "Oh, I'm Willow by the way. And those two are Angel and Xander. Friends.... though I have no idea why Xander just tried to kill me." I glance over his way and try to hide the fact that it really hurt that he'd seem to hate me so much. "Can anyone fill me in on anything they may know that I couldn't possibly know?" I'm hoping that all of my questions will be answered even as I begin to wonder about this place.
"I honestly don't know anything other then the fact that I'm alive for now." The girl seated on the floor by where the leather clad stranger stood, spoke and I turned to face her. "I'm Moon and this is Zeus." She offered even as she deftly jumped to her feet in a way I had never seen anyone other then a slayer do. I shake my head and give a light nod of greeting.
Why had I suddenly felt those emotions when I had no reason to be angry? Fear, yeah I had my own fear that my shield would fail. Even as I thought about it, I observed Xander and noticed that something about him was different. He seemed.... older somehow. Yet, I couldn't quite understand how that was. I looked at Angel, "Does anything feel different to you, Angel?" I ask even as I add, "Something's going on and we should find out what, but instinct might help us out in the long run."
