"Her name is Xadalyn," Mrs. Evans tells me after I said the thing. Xadalyn. Funny. It sounded almost like Xan. Wait...naah...couldn't've been related. Even if they looked sort of familiar together.
Then there's this bright light. I stared at it. I was really starting to feel like I was in a movie right at that moment. I didn't quite heat what they were talking about - just because I moved a few steps behind because the light had scared me. I moved a little closer and then I hear Mr.Evans talking to Xan.
"Alexander, go with Justin. Out the main door to this chamber and go to the left. There should be a . . . a place to wait." he told Xan.
Geez, I got treated like a baby - and after a short while dragged by Xan somewhere. "Xan, I can walk by myself, I won't run away somewhere. You don't need to babysit me.." I sighed, but wasn't sure if he could hear me. Still the girl bothered me. I kept mumbling about her and how she seemed too familiar. But he didn't hear that either.
Then we entered this odd kind of library. I looked around, but as clumbsy as I was I hit something. I saw Xan turning to say something - but then he looked somewhere else instead. I looked at the direction he was looking and saw a picture of a lady. She was pretty. Then Xan whispered something but I didn't hear what he said.
Then the same girl appeared again and they started talking. I wasn't sure what, because I didn't quite understand. Some other language perhaps? Since when did Xan learn other languages? Humph. I wandered off while they were talking. I didn't want to disturb them. I looked around. It seemed like a normal library, but something told me it wasn't..hmm.
'I've never like librarie, though..' I though and looked behind me -- and bumbing into something that fell. I closed my eyes because the crashing sounded to loud. Then I head Xan yell my name. I rolled my eyes. Of course he knew it was me right away. I looked back where he and the girl were.
"I'm okay, I just hit something...not sure what.." I told them.

OOC: I'm assuming that the Oracle was speaking in English otherwise Liz wouldn't be able to understand, if you intended otherwise just say and I'll edit. This is going to be very short compared to my normal, given I have to leave for work in less than fifteen minutes, but hopefully it will get me back into it a little, sorry again for the absence.
~Liz~
To know that Sarah is somewhere in the grounds, which hardly seem completely safe at the moment, is something of a worry, but someone has gone after her, and I know that Max needs me right now. When we got married, we made our own vows, I made a promise to be there with him, wherever that was. We didn't know what was going to happen in the future, on earth we were simply teenage parents, trying to make a living, go to college and look after the kids, but we both knew that somewhere else Max was far more than that.
Hearing him referred to in this way is strange, and I know he's probably not very comfortable. I stand next to him, listening as the Oracle explains the prophecy and blocks etc. To know that Xan has had powers all this time, and yet we haven't known it, we've thought of him as being without, comes as something of a shock, but then again how long mine were developing before they emerged is debatable I guess...
I agree with Max's comment about him learning to control it, that is without a doubt very important, but as I hear his suggestion in my head, my reaction is quick and sharp. *No! We stay together Max, I'm not leaving you here... Sarah will be safe enough when she calms down, and besides, I think you'll probably want a little longer than a few days to get to know your daughter won't you...?* I look at him silently, using the connection that formed so long ago to voice my feelings without the audience, as such, of the Oracle.
OOC: I know this isn't really complete, but the rest will be thinkiing, no conversation and I'll have to edit to add it after I get back from work sorry. Hope what I have works for you Isabelle, I imagine you have an idea of how my mind is working through this one

There was a very loud crash and Xan yelled. "Oh, great. Justin!" And then the boy I saw earlier comes out from the mess he made. "I'm okay, I just hit something...not sure what.." How did he get here?
“It’s ok.” I tell him in English and I wave my hand over the mess cleaning it up instantly. “You guys are probably tired and its getting late. I’ll get someone to take you to the guest quarters. Maybe their finished talking by now anyway. Come on let’s find out.”
We walk back down the hall to my quarters and I open the door to see my father standing there with some brown headed human. Khivar’s words come back to me. “You know your father didn’t even want you? That’s why Avalyn came to Antar in the first place. Xan, oh he goes by Max now. He wanted you dead before you were even born. And do you know why? He was in love with a human, that’s right; he had rather stayed on earth with his human whore than come back to Antar with his wife and child.”
I feel my brother’s presence behind me and it gives me comfort. “It’s getting late, Isa will show them to the guest Quarters.” I say and The Oracle bows to Max and then to me. “Whatever you wish your highness, we know you need your rest.” She says and I wonder what she was up too had to talk to them about
~Oracle~
“If his blocks are removed this her’s will be too. It’s automatic. Same as if you were to give the seal to Xada, Xan’s would also automatically be activated as well. If we take the blocks off, no matter how far away they are they will still be able to tap into the ancient power.”
Before Max can answer Xada and Xan and another boy come in. “It’s getting late, Isa will show them to the guest Quarters.”
“Whatever you wish your highness, we know you need your rest.” I say

OOC: Aww, thanks!
Glad you like it
Alexander
Justin crept out, saying, "I'm okay, I just hit something . . . not sure what . . ."
I shook my head. The kid was such a klutz. I felt a bit guilty though, for not watching him closely enough.
“It’s okay,” Xadalyn said gently, speaking in English now. She swept her hand over the mess and it cleared up by itself. “You guys are probably tired and it's getting late. I’ll get someone to take you to the guest quarters. Maybe they're finished talking by now anyway. Come on let’s find out.”
I nodded and walked out with her, making sure that Justin was close by. As we walked down the hallway, the only sound was the light clicks of Xadalyn's dainty shoes that were hidden by her long gown trailing behind her. When we got to the door, Xadalyn paused momentarily, looking at Mom and Dad. For the first time, I wondered how she must have felt, seeing the father she had never known, not to mention his new wife. Did she feel . . . betrayed? How would I have felt?
“It’s getting late, Isa will show them to the guest Quarters,” Xadalyn said, a soft note of authority in her voice, one that sounded much like my father's.
The white-headed Oracle bowed first to Dad, and then to my sister. “Whatever you wish your highness, we know you need your rest.”
The discussion between the Oracle and my parents was over. What had she told them? Did my father think differently now, compared to what he had thought before she came?
It then occurred to me that we were probably leaving the very next day. Or perhaps that night itself. Maybe this was the first and last time I would ever see my twin.
But maybe not. I was on Antar then, and everything else that I used to know back on Earth seemed . . . unreal . . . in the past . . . and far, far away, which was, in fact, the truth.

"Why the long face?" I heard someone talk to me, sitting right beside me. I wripe my tears away and look at the Alien infront of me. Its weird he speak a different language and english as well. The Guy looks to me to be Xada protecter. My Mother or my father must of send him to go look for me.
"It doesnt matter. My life has change, everything I know is a lie now."
I Stood up. "Please go back in the castle, I want to be left alone. Beside not like anyone notice I am gone."
I sat by the funny looking tree and look at the stars and moons.

Skyler-
The girl wipes the tears from her eyes and looks up at me, "It doesnt matter. My life has change, everything I know is a lie now."
I look at the girl as though she is joking. I have never thought that someone would take this so hard. I thought if anything that Xan would be the one upset, the one to think his life is over. I start slowly watching my words as to not affend her. "Your life isn't over. You just found more family. Family is a good thing. You should feel lucky. I lost my family as a child and I found a new one with Avalyn and her family." I look at her and wait for the anger to leave her when she snaps at me, "Please go back in the castle, I want to be left alone. Beside not like anyone notice I am gone." I stand and look at the girl, "Okay I will leave you, but you shouldn't dwell on the things of the past or they will end up ruling your life." I bow and walk away speaking in antarian to a nearby guard, " Keep an eye on her."

Xada remembers Khivar's words about Max rather well. I hope she also remembers what he said about Tess and what Max told her after he healed her...

Liz rejects my suggestion almost automatically. I'm not surprised. I understand her feelings completely but sometimes, we can't do what we want. Circumstances often dictate another path. Xan and Xada need to be apart a bit longer and I need to spend some time with my new daughter. Of course, I would prefer more than a few days but any time at all would be a great gift.
*I don't want to be separated from you, either, love,* I tell her silently. *But I think we need to concider it unless a better solution presents itself.*
When the Oracle answers my spoken question, I'm rather shocked. It never occured to me that two of my children could have active seals at the same time. I've gotten so used to the incorrect fact that Xan was completely human, that I'd almost forgotten that he has an inactive seal, too. And Kyria told us right away that Xadalyn does. The two of them would have to rule together, in that case. How could we leave him up here, so far away.
What's more, it's clear that activating the seal would most likely destroy the block that she just recommended should stay in place for a few more years. It seems that she is suggesting that I not do this for Xadalyn yet, regardless of the other forces in play at the moment.
Still, while the danger she cites is obvious, that wasn't quite what I meant. "Is there no way to release his powers while maintaining the block between them?" I ask. Afterall, Xadalyn has full use of her powers. Or is that just because Xan has been closed off? He really needs a chance to learn control at a reasonable rate -- not to be suddenly endowed with the power to move planets...
But The Oracle doesn't answer. Xadalyn arrives with Xan and Justin. She suggests that we retire to guest quarters. Surprisingly, the Oracle ends our conversation and allows that we do just that. Only minutes ago, she was urgently suggesting that we leave the planet within the hour. Now, it seems that morning will be fine. I'm not completely sure I'm comfortable with that. Might they not continue to probe the blocks subconciously as they sleep?
Still, I know I should take the Oracle's assurances. If she thinks it's safe, then I should accept that. At least for now.
"It has been a long day," I say to Xadalyn. Stepping forward, I take her hands in mine. I feel my emotions swell as I look at her. Although I never knew her, I already care so much for her. "I'm so pleased to have met you. I wish I had known about you before today but I'm looking forward to getting better acquainted. There's so much we need to tell each other." For just a moment, I want to lean forward and give her a fatherly kiss on the cheek or forehead, but I'm not sure that's a good idea. "We'll see you in the morning."
*Liz? You go on with Isa and take the boys to the guest quarters. I need to go find Sarah, first.* The mention of guest quarters made me think of the cottage by the lake. I remember vacationing there with ... well with my parents and also with Avalyn. Although I think Xada is thinking of the rooms in the north wing. I don't know which ones are occupied, but I'm sure I can find Liz later...

Yes…but people tend to remember the bad more than the good, bad things tend to stick in ones head even if they know there lies, but don't worry about it, it probally won't be expanded on I just wanted to throw something in there
~Xadalyn~
They leave my room and now its just me and the oracle left alone. “I do not understand why all the secrecy…isn’t secrecy messed my family up enough?”
“Some things are best kept by secrets.” The oracle says and of course she would answer me with some sort of riddle I will never figure out. “You can leave now.” I say and in a flash she disappears from sight.
I walk on to my balcony and breathe in the salty sea air. I have a big day tomorrow on top of a major Summit’s meeting I have with the ruling families of the 5 planets I need to get to know my new family. ….what a crazy, crazy day it’s been.
First Khivar and now a family I never knew existed. My head is pounding for some reason. That’s weird, I never get headaches, they usually heal themselves.

OOC - I'm not sure who Isa is or where she(?) came from, but the name was mentioned in the Xada post so I'll use her a bit.

Predictably, Liz isn't happy about spliting up but I kiss her lightly on the forehead and assure her that I'll soon be joining her. Isa guides her and the boys towards the guest quarters and I take a deep breath before looking around.
It's amazing how much this place looks familiar. It's as if nothing's changed in over 70 years. Of course, with historical structures, there does tend to be a huge sense of tradition. I'm still worried about Xan and Xada, and actually quite tired from the events of the day, but first, I need to find Sarah.
I head down the hallway and come to the door of the library. If she'd been in there the boys would have discovered her, so I pass it up and continue for now. I'll be visiting it later, I'm pretty sure. I have a lot of questions and I think it may help me figure out some of the answers...
I check some of the other common areas before heading downstairs and wandering through the Main Hall, Ballroom, Banquet Hall, Study and other areas. I see a few guards but none of them move to stop me. It appears they all know who I am. I approach one and ask if she'd seen my daughter, glad to have recovered my understanding of my native language.
She indicates that she'd heard someone was in the rosidln garden. Thanking her, I wander outside. The grounds cover nearly a hundred acres including two ponds and about 26 acres of gardens. Fortunately, the rosidln garden is nearby and not as large as some of the others. As upset as Sarah had seemed, I wouldn't expect her to go all that far away.
Soon, I come across another of Kyria's security staff and see that he seems to be loitering, peering down a gentle hillside. As I approach, I find I don't need to ask. I can see Sarah sitting below on one of a ring of small stone benches around a fountain.
"Thank you," I tell him. "I'll take care of her, now."
"As you wish," he says, sounding efficient and respectful. He turns and moves off as I head down to see my daughter.
"Hey, Sarah, You found a pretty spot," I say moving to sit next to her. "Are you okay?"

Kyria
I was in my own quarters. Things around this place have been kind of hectic since the Xada' Earth family has arrived. Im constantly having to make sure there safe, being in charge of Xada was one thing. But, the rest of her family! They were all something else.
I leave my room to go make sure that everyone is being well taken care of and tended to. I find that Liz and the boys have been taken to two of the guest rooms. Liz in one, where Maxwell would join... and the boys in another.
I walk into the boys room, not knocking first.
"I suppose this is quite different for you all." I say looking at them both. Gosh, Xan looked so much like Xada... and the male verison of Xada was pretty dam nice.
