It was a sleepy morning in the neighbourhood, the Evans house was still fast asleep when the doorbell rang. Diane heard it, it woke her up and she headed down the stairs to the door, she gasped when she opened it
"What's happened? What's wrong?" she asked worried
"Mrs Evans... I'm sorry but we have a warrant for your son" said Valenti
"What for? What's he done?" she asked getting more worried than before "He's alright isn't he? He's supposed to be in bed..."
"Yes I uh know. We've got a warrant to arrest him for murder" he said as he stepped inside. She clapped a hand over her mouth in shock, she stood there as a few officers followed Valenti in and down the hall to Max's bedroom.

Max was sprawled on his bed, he was stuck in a nightmare that haunted his day and his nights, he barely slept at all and this time he was thankful to get some rest, even if his dreams did have Liz and Kyle together. He tried so hard to block it out, how could she betray him like that? Something wasn't right, yes she cared for Kyle, but he knew her or at least he thought he did, she would never give something that important away to someone she just cared for and didn't really love. He heard a bang and he groggily opened his eyes seeing Valenti, he sat up and rubbed his eyes
"Valenti? What's wrong? The FBI hasn't come to town again have they? Is everyone okay?"
"No Max... I umm sorry to have to do this but you're under arrest for the murder of Elizabeth Claudia Parker. You have the right to remain silent anything you say may be used in a court of law, you have the right to an attorney if you do not have one we shall provide one for you" he said as he read Max's his rights
"Liz..." he gasped "Liz is..."
"Her body was found earlier this morning just outside of Roswell. We have witnesses saying you took her" he explained then leaned in close "And there's a silver handprint burned into her back" Max's eyes fluttered shut and he felt faint. He fell in Valenti's arms as his legs gave out, Hanson and Owen dragged Max out the room. Isabel was standing in the hall
"Valenti what's going on!" she screamed "Where are they taking Max! No don't let them take him again! Max!" she shouted as she tried to stop them "Tell them to let him go!" she looked up at him with tears running down her face and saw he was about to do no such thing "Oh my god you're turning us in... You're... No! We trusted you!" she shouted stepping back and raising her hand. Diane and Phillip stood in the hallway watching the confrontation between Isabel and Valenti
"No Isabel. It's not like, I still keep your secret. Liz... Liz is dead, she was murdered and we have eye witnesses saying that it was Max"
"I need to call Liz" she said turning around then froze "Michael. I'll call Michael and the others" she said hurrying to the phone
"Sheriff what is going on?" asked Diane
"I'm going with him" said Phillip "He's going to need a lawyer" Philip pulled on a coat and headed out after the police cruisers.

Isabel was pacing up and down on the phone, she was talking to Alex at the moment and had just got off the phone after a ten second talk with Michael
"Max has been arrested" she said "Liz is... oh god Liz is..." she couldn't even say it
"Liz is what? What's wrong with Liz?" asked Alex worried
"She's dead Alex. Liz is dead... and the Police think Max murdered her" she told him and the line went quiet...

Kyle woke up to Tess running around the place frantically, she practically ran out of her room naked throwing clothes on
"Max just got arrested" she stated and he nodded
"What'd he do? Get drunk again and climb the school?" he quipped as he went to lie back down on the couch and get some sleep
"No, Isabel just called to tell me. Valenti turned up and arrested Max for murder"
"You aliens" he muttered
"Kyle!" she shouted almost forgotting the had lesson's Nasedo had drummed into her "Liz is dead!" he looked up surprised, she looked away as her eyes filled with tears "I shouldn't be crying for her. I mean she took Max away from me... he should have been mine but... but she was so selfless and tried to help me when I was nothing but cruel and manipulative to her" she wrapped her arms around her small frame and Kyle tossed his blanket aside and hugged her
"It'll be okay..." he said, she pulled away and brushed her tears away
"Isabel needs me. I think she's called everyone so..." she reached out and touched the waist of his boxers and he was dressed in seconds "Come on, let's go"
He thought about it as he walked out to the car. Liz was dead, Liz was dead it just didn't sound right. Liz cheated death, she just couldn't seem able to be dead at least not in his eyes and what was even more kooky was that Max was supposed to have killed her? Max would never hurt Liz? Right? He thought as he slid into the drivers seat, what if... Max did it out of anger? Only two nights ago he caught them in bed for the whole Future thing that no one was supposed to know about. Did Max kill Liz because she had slept, well sort of, with me? He wondered...

Isabel ran a shaky hand through her hair as the group sat there. They had been brought together by an act of violence shared fear and secrets and hope and once more they brought together by the murder of one of their own, one of the family.
Maria watched Isabel pace nervously, she had tear tracks down her face and looked pale. She wasn't quite sure why she had been called to the Evans home so early but she knew something about Max being arrested. Tess was holding hands with Kyle, they were locked together in a pale grip and something somber settled over the group. Michael stood by the mantle and Alex was in the doorway with his arms around himself, she wasn't sure what was going on. All she knew that something big had happened and Liz wasn't here yet. Isabel sat down next to her on the couch
"I think we should begin" she said but Maria turned to face her
"If it involves Max I think we should wait for Liz" she said clearly and Isabel jumped up as tears filled her eyes. She staggered for a moment before throwing a hand over her mouth and staggering to the downstairs bathroom. Alex went after her and they could hear her throwing up, Maria stood up slowly as the colour faded from her face. She turned to stare coldly at Michael
"What happened?" she demanded, he stepped forward with his hand outstretched but she slapped it away "Tell me" she urged.
Diane had moved from the kitchen when Isabel ran through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, she checked on her daughter then went to the living room to see what caused her to be so sick. Maria and Michael were in a tense stand off, Kyle and Tess were huddled together
"Max killed Liz" he said calmly like he was telling her what colour the sky was. She slapped him hard across the face
"No" she said coldly, he rubbed his chin and turned back to her
"Max killed her" he repeated
"No!" she shouted louder this time. Diane couldn't believe her son's best friend actually believed he had killed his girlfriend! She moved to step forward when Michael explained it more
"Do you know anyone else who leaves a silver handprint?" he asked
"He... an alien did this?" she gasped "What about the protector? What about Nasedo?"
"Dead remember. Whittaker took care of him" he replied, Kyle tightened his grip on Tess's hands. Even though Nasedo was a monster she was still all she could call family, he was the only thing she had in the entire world. She listened in some more when they began talking about aliens and silver handprints, these kids seemed to believe it so much that they gathered secretly to discuss it.
"Mom?" she gasped and everyone turned to look at her. Isabel was standing behind her and she had been caught. Isabel glanced at Michael who looked ashen
"How much did you hear?" asked Tess, it was the first time she had spoken since she'd arrived twenty minutes ago
"I... what is going on?" she replied "Do you know something that could clear Max?"
"No, only condemn him" replied Kyle. Maria had slowly slunk back to the couch, she was trying to make herself believe it but she was suffering from the same thoughts that Kyle had. Liz had already been shot once, she had already cheated death, it just didn't seem possible for her to die
"I want to know everything" she demanded
"No" said Michael gruffly
"It isn't an option. You tell me or I go to the police and tell them that you're all in on it" she tried to get some leverage over them, anything that would break the truth from them. Isabel and Alex moved past her, she sat on the couch while he rested on the arm with his arm around her. Maria looked up at Michael as it finally began to become clear in her mind that Liz was dead.
"Michael tell her" she urged as tears began to fall "Please" he rubbed his hands over his face then sat down on the chair with a loud sigh.

"Are you okay?" came the same dull voice "Hey wake up. Are you okay? Erin?"
"Uh? What?"
"You fell asleep sweetie, musta been a touch a sun stroke is my guess" said the kind man as he helped her up
"Where am I?"
"You're in the back field sweetie, here easy-easy" he helped her to her unsteady feet
"Who are you?" asked Erin
"I'm your father, oh poor thing. Ya musta busted ya head when ya fell, come on" he said as he helped her towards a red painted farmhouse. He opened the door and called out
"Grace! Erin passed out from sun stroke again!" he called an a dark haired woman with sun tanned skin in her mid forties hurried down the stairs; she had warm eyes and a kind smile, which locked onto Erin the second she saw her
"Oh goodness not again Zeke" she ran cold water into the sink and grabbed a towel dipping it in and folded it up as Zeke set her down on the couch
"I can't remember" said Erin as Zeke brushed her brown flowing hair off her forehead
"It's okay sweetie" he said trying to sooth her. Grace hurried over with the damp towel and pressed it against Erin's head. She couldn't help but smile at the coolness. Then suddenly without any warning she began to glow as she cooled her parents were afraid but did not sway from helping their daughter. The glowing faded and she sighed
"I saw him" she whispered "He was so beautiful" Zeke glanced at Grace and then they did the sign of the cross on their bodies, only something like this could have only been heavenly "I'm pregnant" she announced as she ran her hand over her stomach
"Dear God" gasped Grace "Like the Virgin... it's the second coming"
"Praise the Lord" said Zeke, Erin glanced up at her parents and looked at them with confusion. She could sense whatever was growing inside her wasn't holy or religious... she did indeed carry a natural born leader's child but she had never... she was a virgin. She slowly sat up and looked at them. Something just didn't seem right about her parents...

She walked around the town, she had never been in an area so populated in her life and she couldn't quite remember how she had gotten here or more importantly how she had gotten here. She needed help, she had to get some help. She saw a Sheriff's station and despite her own personal knowlegde she knew that a Sheriff would help her. She hurried over and pulled open the door. She hurried into the office and looked around, a young deputy was leaning against the counter reading something she cleared her throat and he looked up then froze
"Oh my God" he gasped "Liz?"
"Is that my name?" she asked
"Liz is that you? Wait, let me get the Sheriff!" he hurried off up some stairs. So Liz was her name? Seconds later the deputy reappeared with the Sheriff in tow, she didn't recognise him if she was supposed to. Why did the deputy recognise her so quickly? Had she been missing?
"Liz? This isn't... Hansen release Max"
"But..."
"Do it now. No wait! I'll do it" he said changing his mind quickly "Come with me" he said to Liz and she followed him into the cells. A young man was in there with his arms wrapped around his legs and he was unmoving, she looked over him and she realised he reminded her of her boyfriend Alexander then she wondered where that thought came from. The second he saw her he sat up, moving so fast towards the bars
"Liz!" he gasped with the biggest smile on his face "You're okay"
"You know me?" she asked looking between the Sheriff and this boy "What's your name?"
"Liz? Don't... it's me Max"
"I don't think I know anyone called Max"
"I'm your boyfriend!" he continued as Valenti unlocked the cell
"No my boyfriend is called Alex" she replied
"Ms Parker? Do you need to be checked out by a doctor?" asked the Sheriff. She looked them over and couldn't help but feel that she wasn't supposed to be here, they weren't the people she knew.

Grace crept into the barn. She had spent time with her daugher earlier but no amount of time could change the fact that her little girl just wasn't the same as before she passed out. She opened the cupboard and pulled the blanket off the body of Erin. She sat there staring at her with cold grey eyes, her eyes had always been grey. This lifeless thing was her daughter and that girl in there was an imposter. Maybe an alien like was rumoured over the few farms, she knew Zeke would never tell the difference. She held a maternal instinct over her family and she knew instantly that something was wrong, yes she shared a same powerful bond with the girl in there but it was clear that who ever it was, was not Erin. She wondered idly if it had anything to do with when she was seventeen before she married, she had gotten pregnant she knew it because it was way before they began to court each other and before any time that she had a physical relationship with any man....

Max cupped Liz's face and stared into her eyes, he tried to open a connection with her to find out if she was hurt or who brought her back but he failed to. The eyes he was looking into were more alien than human, he backed up and raised his hand
"That's not Liz!" he said and Valenti turned to look at her "Who are you?"
"I... I don't remember!" she cried
"Her eyes are grey instead of brown" said Max, Valenti grabbed her shoulder and spun her around when a piece of large flaky skin fell off her arm and fluttered to the floor
"She's a skin?" gasped Max
"What's happening to me!" she cried as she began to panic "Who are you people! What did you do to me!"
"Liz calm down..." said Valenti "It's okay, we'll figure this out" but she turned and hurried out.

She jumped startled when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned round quickly and saw Zeke standing there
"So you found out?" he said smirking "I'm sorry Grace. You should have never known"
"You chose me didn't you? You and... them" she replied and he nodded
"They weren't very happy that I had fallen for you but you had a purpose. Out of sheer luck on my part you were only one of the two woman in the entire world genetically perfect to carry"
"Carry... you mean my daughter..."
"Is a skin like me. We've genetically created perfect soldiers... the other one is a Hybrid Skin too. She doesn't know it... but she has all the powers, since the other one copulated we didn't need the extra skin suit for Erin. So that's what's right there"
"And Erin..."
"In Roswell, getting to know the King better. She still has her purposes, with the one who produced a child she was brought here to be watched. Apparently she's carrying the King's Child"
"So my daughter is still alive and that girl out that... that's her sister?"
"Yes, you catch on quick. Now catch on to this" he said as he raised his arm. She yelped in surprised as he jerked forward and looked down to see the pole of a spade through his middle. He turned to dust in seconds with Liz standing behind him. Grace did not feel anger or guilty, she had built a meagre happy life with Zeke because of community expectations and if he tried to hurt her daughter or her supposed sister then she was glad he was gone. Liz threw the spade down on the floor with a clatter and kicked at the dust and dead skin. Then she felt a spot on her back, luckily she didn't have a seal
"So... my daughter is in Roswell... Your home is in Roswell... that is where we must go" she said as she took hold of the Girl's hand "Do... do you remember your name?"
"I think it's something like Lisa. I keep hearing a voice calling out to me but I can't quite make out who it is" she explained as she took Grace's hand, they hurried out of the barn to pack their clothes quickly.

Liz walked down the street confused and trying not to cry, she couldn't remember at all... and then there was strange things happening to her, things the law knew about. The way that boy looked at her made her feel weak, she shook her head and sat down on a bench. She heard a sigh behind her and turned to see a boy sitting there with his chin resting on his hand
"You have a bad night too?" she asked and he turned around startled, his hair looked like it had been shocked and his eyes flashed fear, anger, worry and failure then it was all replaced by shock
"I'm Liz... I think. I can't quite remember who I am" she said as he came to sit down next to her
"I'm Michael" he replied as he put an arm over the back of the bench "Want to talk about it?"
"I woke up and... I couldn't remember, I walked about a bit then saw the Sheriff's station. Maybe I had been missing? So I thought they could help but he took me to the cells and introduced me to this boy called Max. They started shouting and Max called me a skin... I got so upset I ran. I have strange feelings that I don't belong here. I have this urge to..."
"React?" asked Michael, he kept quiet about the fact that they were enemies. There was something comforting in this girl's presence, it was something he hadn't felt from Liz before and was sure that this girl wasn't Liz at all
"Yeah... react. I feel ready for something... it's... like I have to fight against it. I'm supposed to... oh it probably makes no sense" she chuckled
"No it makes sense Liz. Talking about it makes it all real, makes it sound sane. You're a General aren't you?" he whispered and she didn't look at him. The word comforted her and filled her with fear, she nodded slowly as some part of her understood who was talking to her
"Yes I am. You are too" she replied and he just nodded "That means we have armies. Armies that will fight against each other"
"Yes it does"
"Which makes us enemies. I don't want to be an enemy to you Michael, when you understand me so much. You're like... a big brother who knows too much" she replied and he just chuckled
"Maybe we were once brother and sister? Who knows?" said when they both heard someone calling him "I have to go now. Will I see you here again tomorrow night... I don't want to call you Liz. I know that isn't your name"
"It feels like Erin" she replied and he nodded
"See you tomorrow night Erin... little sister" he replied before taking off.
She sat there for a moment and became sure that her name was Erin not Liz and that she wanted to be friends with Michael, not enemies but if the feelings in her bones brought about the future then she knew she would have very little choice...

Valenti walked along the corridor hall towards the morgue as fast as he could without running. He pushed the door open and met with the mortician
"Thank you for meeting me Sheriff, I found something really strange on one of the cadavers this afternoon. One she has no internal organs and two there was a button under a flap of skin on her back" he said as he moved to the cold tray. He pulled back the sheet to reveal Liz Parker's cold form the motion of the sheet caused the body to move then it disentegrated into dust and the draft from the open door caused it to scatter. Valenti just watched it go, Liz was a skin... or maybe this was a spare shell to that girl who came in pretending to be Liz before?
"I have never ever seen anything like this before" said the mortician
"Henry I'm gonna need her file. All information you had about this body" he said and Henry handed it over with a nervous look on his face. The second Valenti had it all he turned and walked out.

Liz looked up sleepily as she woke up, and saw the Roswell City Limits sign and as they moved further and further toward Main Street she began to recognise things
"Do you remember sweetie?" asked Grace looking at her sort-of daughter
"Yes... Max and me... we had our first date over there" she pointed to a restuarant as they passed it then she gasped as they passed another building
"Momma stop!" she cried, she didn't even wait for the car to stop moving before she jumped out of it and raced toward the building. She pulled the doors open and rushed into the diner, some people looked up and gasped. The man at the counter stopped moving all together, he stood there for a few seconds before he bolted over the counter and gathered her up in his arms
"Liz!" he cried as he held her
"Is that my name? Are you my real father?" she asked "Do you know what happened to me?"
"Liz thank god you're okay! I knew that the Sheriff was wrong when he said you were dead" he pulled her into another hug and stroked her hair "You're safe now"
"Max? Where is Max?" she asked looking round "I remembered things about me when I saw things we shared together"
"Max is... in Jail. He was arrested for your murder" she pulled away from him and hurried out "Liz come back!" Jeff followed her out as she ran across the street when she saw the Station. She hurried in and found a young deputy sitting at the counter yawning
"Where is the Sheriff? You have to let Max go!"
"We did Miss Parker, last night when you came here. The Sheriff released him and then went to the hospital to check something out"
"Where can I find Max?"
"Well since he's been up all night probably at home sleeping" he replied when the door opened and in walked Jeff. He pulled her out with a nod to Hansen
"Erin... are you okay?" asked Grace as she walked over to them
"Yes momma I'm fine" she said as she pulled away from Jeff "I have to find Max. Somehow I think he knows what's going on"
"Liz?" asked Jeff "Maybe I should take you home and get some rest"
"You're not taking my daughter anywhere!" hissed Grace and stepped in front of her
"Momma maybe I should get some rest. I will but first I just need to find Max. Please" she begged and he relented
"He's at 6025 Murray Lane" he told her she gave him a quick hug and the two of them jumped back in the old car and drove off.

Max knocked at the door halfway through Isabel's incredible story, Diane would have believed it if it didn't sound so far fetched. She listened to the obvious lies they spun and tried not to chuckle.
Maria came back in the room followed by Michael who was smiling and didn't look as tense as before. A few minutes later when they were gettings to the whole Topolski thing the doorbell rang, she got up to see Liz and a woman she had never seen before standing there, she held the door open and let them inside. The second the gang saw them everyone up and hugging her including Tess but Michael stayed where he was, Isabel turned to look at him
"Michael? Aren't you glad to see Liz?" she asked but he levelled his gaze at her
"Are you Erin or Liz?" he asked
"You know about Erin? Where is she? Is she okay?" asked Grace
"She's okay, she doesn't remember much. Is she your daughter?" Grace just nodded
"You raised a good kid. I think she's on our side"
"Whatever they did to her she's still just a kid. I just want my little girl back"
"What did they do to her?" he asked as Maria pulled Liz to sit down next to her
"They made her and she's a... skin a hybridised skin, she was a backup for Liz. When Liz got pregnant they brought her to where I lived for my husband to watch over her. My husband was one of them" she whispered and he just nodded
"What happened to him?"
"I stuck him in the lower back with a spade" said Liz suddenly "I didn't know why I knew that would finish him but it did"
"He turned to dust before my eyes, he tried to hurt my baby. I'm glad he's dead" she said coldly
"Will someone explain what's going on?" demanded Tess and Kyle nodded
"Maybe I can help?" they all turned to see a middle aged man standing there wearing leather and had long shoulder length matted hair. Liz gasped as everything came flooding back
"You... you're the father of my baby" she whispered "Max from the future" he just nodded...

"I think we should all sit down and I'll explain everything" said Max. Everyone did as he said, even Michael. He cleared his throat and ran a hand through his long dark hair
"I asked Liz to stage a scene to sleep with Kyle. In my future it was awful, Liz staged a scene to sleep with Kyle and I went to Tess. She ended up betraying us and killed Alex, we were forced to leave our homes fleeing for our lives when the FBI broke into our Graduation Ceremony with rifles and guns. The war came to Earth a few years after that and we were killed off one by one, I came back to stop that from happening. I had to do something, I knew what Kivar and Nicholas were doing so I stole Erin and Liz's new husks... they're genetically hybridised skins, they have the material of the S.C.I.N Suits crafted into human bodies. Liz was more human than Erin but they are like the Dupes. The only way to tell them apart is..."
"Their eyes" said Michael "Erin's eyes are blue, Liz's are brown" Max nodded
"Anyway I stole the suits and left the Handprints on them. But the switch was made before I could get Liz away from here"
"Okay but why is Liz pregnant?" asked Grace
"The other Future Max who changed his time line to mine slept with her. She wanted one night with him because he had fourteen years with her, it also made sure that if she ever in some strange chance got back with Max or... me then she wouldn't be a Virgin. Erin is still... but Liz is..."
"I'm beginning to remember" Liz whispered. Max stiffened and looked to the door
"I have to get out of here! Max is coming!" he announced and hurried into the kitchen when Max appeared from the door. He looked round and saw everyone sitting there and a woman he'd never seen before
"What's going on?" he asked, his heart stopped when Liz turned in her seat and stared at him. In a swift movement she was on her feet and wrapping her arms around him kissing him.
"We need Erin on our side, if Kivar created two copies of Liz then they must be for something"
"Zeke said that they were soldiers" said Grace
"They wouldn't just make soldiers, they were making a General they got lucky, one to carry the heir and the other to fight" said Michael
"What's going on? What do you mean Kivar created Liz?"
"Liz is a hybridised skin, there are two of Liz. There's Liz Parker and Erin..."
"Turner" said Grace using her maiden name. Max looked at Liz shocked, she cupped his face smiling and pulled him down for a kiss. She just need to feel and remember. The kiss caused flashes from both of them and she saw her life through Max's eyes flashing before her eyes. Maria turned to look at Michael who stood up and moved to the door, where was he going?

Grace wandered up the path, she felt so nervous. The boy Max was in that house. The same house that Michael was in... she felt a strange connection to him. She reminded her of someone she called Rath but the strange thing was that she never knew anyone called Rath... not in this life said a voice inside her head. She glanced at the car parked at the curb, it was one she recognised and was sure it belonged to her parents. She just couldn't knock on the door could she? She lifted her hand to knock when the door opened and Michael was standing there with a smile
"You're mother is here Erin. Why don't you come in?" he asked and she just nodded and stepped inside. The second she saw her mother she began to cry
"Mama" she sobbed, Grace turned around and saw her little girl standing there
"Erin!" she cried and pulled her into a hug "Oh baby! Thank God you're safe!"
"This is the strangest afternoon I've ever had" announced Diane as she rose to her feet "This has been an incredible show, I'm amazed by it all but I think I should start lunch"
"You told her?!" shouted Max, they broke for air a few minutes ago and just stared into each others eyes
"Hush love... feel" she said as she took his head and Diane gasped when Liz put it out of sight. Max just turned pale and his eyes fluttered
"Maxwell Philip Evans!" cried Diane as she walked over, she saw that Max's hand was on Liz's stomach and it was glowing
"It's our baby" she said and he nodded as a smile crept over him. She backed off and let them have that moment before she would lecture Max about getting his girlfriend pregnant.
Diane went into the kitchen and saw Future Max standing there ready to bolt out the door if Max decided to come out here
"I love you mom" he said and she stopped "I remember when Kivar began to attack he targeted out parents first. We never got a chance to tell you the truth"
"But you have now?" she asked as she began taking cups out and clicked the kettle on
"We were afraid that you would get hurt if you knew. We were so scared to tell you that if we did something would happen and we would loose you but you never knew the truth and we lost you anyway"
"Can I ask... how did we get killed?" she asked, she had no idea why she wanted to know. Call it morbid human curiousity
"Amy and Valenti were killed in the Senior Chows Explosion, Nancy and Jeff were poisoned and you and dead were shot. Dad was shot two years after you, we found you in the kitchen you had been making coffee and lunch... it was... MOM GET DOWN!" he grabbed her just in time realising she had been standing in front of the window when three bullets came through the glass. The second she was down on the floor she looked around but Future Max was gone... the others came in and Max put up his shield while the guy tried to get away. His target had gone down, his job was done...
"Mom are you okay?"
"He saved me. He saved me and then he disappeared. Max is gone!"
"Future Max?" asked Tess and she nodded
"The timeline's been altered... we carve a new time line. We can win against Kivar" said Liz "We could win"
