Title: New York Minute

Author: RoswellChic4Ever

Category: M/M with CC

Rating: MATURE

Disclaimer Roswell belongs to like a million freaking people. I can’t keep track anymore. New York Minute was sung by Don Henely and written by… Like I know… Anyway, The only thing that belongs to me is the plot.

Summary: Michael is on his way to becoming one of the most famous architects in Roswell. He has a beautiful wife, and three beautiful children, but a trip to New York shatters his dreams of having a normal life. First story in the Something’s Coming Trilogy.

Author’s Notes: Everything up to Destiny happened. No season two, no season three. Tess is good, Alex is alive. Set 7 years after Destiny. This first story is REALLY short… But there really was no other option for this one. The other two will be longer.

Part One

Michael Guerin strolled into work, whistling a happy tune. To most, this would seem normal, but to anyone who knew Michael Guerin, this was an uncommon occurrence. Michael Guerin wasn’t the type of guy who whistled a happy tune in any type of situation.

He was one of the fastest growing architects in Roswell, even though he had only graduated 2 years ago. He opened his own company with a good college friend and the company, though it struggled for about a year, was doing extremely well.

“Why you so chipper today Guerin?” Jesse Ramirez, Michael’s partner asked.

“Well today is January 31st.” Michael told Jesse. He opened his briefcase and sat down at his desk.

“Yes, today is January 31st…” Jesse said, hinting that he wanted an answer better than that.

“You do know what January 31st is… don’t you Jesse?” Michael asked, pulling out a folder.

Jesse shook his head. “I’m afraid I don’t.”

Michael frowned. “Well I’ll tell you then. Today is January 31st and as of today I have been married to Maria for 5 years.”

“Oh it’s your anniversary?” Courtney Banks, Michael’s secretary exclaimed as she entered the room. “How cute, what did you get your wife?”

“Now that is something I can’t tell anyone. It’s a surprise for Maria, and I intend on keeping it that way.” Michael told them.

“Oh come on, we won’t tell.” Courtney pushed, sitting on her desk.

“No, and get your ass off my desk. I don‘t pay you to do nothing. And shut the door on your way out.”

Courtney rolled her eyes and left the office, planting herself back at her own desk, ready to take phone calls.

“Donut?” Michael said, holding out a small box of Krispy Kreme’s.”

“Thanks.” Jesse grabbed a donut and took a seat.

“So what do we have today?” Michael asked, looking at his schedule.

“The rumor is that Mandrake is interested in building a hotel here in Roswell. The problem is, he doesn’t know who he wants to design it.” Michael’s face lit up. Randolph Mandrake was the wealthiest hotel owner in the world and Michael wanted him to pick their company to head up his new project.

“Well we need him.” Michael told Jesse.

“I agree but he’s in New York. How are we going to convince him that we are the best architect for him?”

“We’ll convince him.” Michael shut his briefcase and Jesse gave him a funny look.

“What are you doing?”

“Yeah, I’m taking the rest of the day off to be with my wife. I’ll see ya tomorrow.”

With that, Michael Guerin exited his office, and resumed whistling his happy tune all the way to his car. He had a big night planned for Maria, and wanted to make sure everything went absolutely perfect, because for Maria, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

* * *

Maria stood over the breakfast bar in the kitchen and flipped through some papers. “Not here.” She mumbled to herself.

She moved to the table, but still couldn’t find the item she wanted.

“Damnit.” She placed her hands on her hips and tapped her foot. “Where is it?”

“Where is what?” The sound of another voice shocked her and she jumped and spun around. There stood her husband holding a vase full of pink roses.

“What are you doing here?” She exclaimed.

“Happy Anniversary to you too.” He said, a frown on his face.

“Oh, I didn’t mean it like that.” She leaned up and kissed him. “I’m just surprised to see you home so soon.”

“Well I took the rest of the day off to spend with my beautiful wife.” Michael said, setting the roses on the counter.

“Pretty flowers.” She said, looking at them. “For me?” She asked, a grin on her face.

“Who else would they be for?” He asked, pressing his lips to her neck. He worked his way up her jaw line and started nibbling on her ear.

“Mmmm… As much as I would love to just have my way with you right here, I can’t.” She told him.

Michael pulled away and pouted. “But why?” He whined.

“Mama!” A small blonde girl came running into the kitchen, grabbing Maria’s leg.

“That’s why.” Maria said, looking down at her daughter. “What is it sweetheart?” Maria lifted her in her arms.

She pointed towards the living room and pouted.

At that moment another blonde girl, looking exactly like the previous ran into the kitchen. Michael grabbed her and scooped her into his arms. “Now what on Earth has our twins running away from the living room?” Michael asked, already knowing the answer.

“Aiden Michael Guerin! Get in here right now.”

The 5-year-old boy came staggering into the kitchen, his hands behind his back. “Yes Mommy?” He asked, pretending to be innocent.

“What do you have behind your back?” Maria asked her son.

He shrugged. “Nothing.”

Maria gave him a stern look. “Aiden…” She started. “You better show me, or you’re going to be in big trouble.”

Aiden held out his hands and Maria walked towards him. The little girl in her arms coward away from her brother.

“Aiden!” Maria exclaimed, seeing the lizard that the boy held in his hands. “Get that out of my house immediately!”

Michael burst into laughter at seeing what caused such chaos. “It’s just a lizard Maria. It won’t hurt anyone.”

Maria glared at Michael. “Do you want that thing crawling on you while you’re asleep? I didn’t think so. Tell your son to get it out of here.”

Michael put the little girl in his arms on the floor and walked over to Aiden. “Let’s take this outside, ok buddy?” Michael suggested.

Aiden nodded. “K daddy.”

Michael looked back as Maria talked to the twins. She was a fantastic Mother, and a fantastic wife, and tonight he had plans to show her just how much he loved her.

Part Two

“Where are you taking me?” Maria asked, giggling as Michael held his hands over her eyes.

“I’m not telling.” Michael told her.

He led her to where he wanted her to stand. “Remember about a year ago when we were driving around and you saw that house you wanted. It was big, had the pool and the nice porch with all the balconies on the rooms?”

“Yeah…” Maria said slowly.

“And you wanted it because it was around the corner from Max and Liz’s house. And you and Liz always said you’d be neighbors and this house was the closest you’d ever get to that.”

“Uh huh.”

Michael took his hands away from her face. “Open your eyes.”

Maria did as she was told. She was standing in the foyer of a house she had never been in before. “Oh my God… Michael…” Maria looked around in aw.

“I bought you that house.” Michael told her.

Maria’s mouth dropped. “But… this house… it’s huge! It’s more than we could afford remember.”

Michael shook his head. “Maria, we can afford this house.” Michael assured her. “Trust me.”

“Oh my God.” She whispered again.

“Do you like it?” He asked.

She nodded. “I LOVE IT!” She exclaimed. She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him hard on the lips. “I love you.” She said, after breaking the kiss.

“I love you too. But there’s more.”

“There’s more?” She asked, shocked.

“Come on.” He grabbed her hand and led her upstairs.

“Oh, I’m so excited.” She said.

Michael opened a door and Maria gasped, in shock for the second time that night. The room, she assumed was the master bedroom, was lit only by candles. Tons of candles that were placed throughout the room. In the middle was a blanket, on the blanket sat a picnic basket. Rose petals were scattered among the room as well, most of them making a trail to the blanket.

“Michael…” He led her over to the blanket and sat down, pulling her with him. She leaned over and captured his lips in a kiss, pushing him down, Maria on top of him.

“God I love you.” He said, breaking the kiss.

“Do you think that we’ll be this happy forever?” Maria asked.

Michael ran a hand through her hair. “I hope so. Because the only way that I couldn’t be this happy is if you weren’t with me… and I could never do this alone.”

“Do what alone?”

“Live. I don‘t think I could live without you.”

“I don’t think I could live without you either.” She whispered. She placed her head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around her. He held her like that for a long time; not wanting to ever let her go.

* * *

“Maria, I’m home.” Michael said, opening the door a few days later.

“I’m in the bedroom.” She called.

Michael walked into the bedroom and set his briefcase on the bed. “Babe, what are you doing?” He asked.

“Just packing.” She told him. “You said that we were going to be moving into the house next week, so I figured we should get started.”

“Yeah… about that. I have some bad news.” He said, biting his bottom lip.

“What?” She asked, standing up.

“I have to go to New York tomorrow.” He told her.

Her face dropped. “Why?” She whined. She reached and grabbed his hand. “I don’t want you to go away.”

“I know but I have to go. IT shouldn‘t be too long. Maybe you can get Max, Kyle, and Alex to help you move in. Then you can decorate it all for me before I get back. It’ll give you something to do to pass the time.”

“I guess.”

“Hey, where are the kids?” He asked, suddenly noticing how quiet it was in the small house.

“Oh Max and Liz took them for the night. They wanted to take them to see a movie with Kaylie and Justin and then just offered to keep them.” Maria told him.

Michael raised an eyebrow. “So we have the whole house to ourselves… for the whole night?”

“Yes we do.” She replied, snaking her arms around his neck. “What do you want to do?” Michael kissed her neck and Maria giggled. “Do you ever think about anything besides sex?” She asked.

“Umm… Sometimes…” Michael answered. “But usually I just sit at work and imagine all the things I can do to you when I get home.”

“You’re horrible Michael Guerin.”

“You love it.” He said, kicking the door shut, just in case anyone did happen to come to the house.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you for the next few days.” He said, inhaling the scent of her hair. It always smelled like strawberries, it had since they were younger.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you either.”

He leaned down and kissed her on the lips. She took a step closer, their bodies completely touching now. He tangled his hand in her hair and started moving her towards the bed when the phone rang.

“I should get that.” She said breathlessly.

Michael kissed her on the neck. “Ignore it.” He told her.

“It could be the kids.” Michael sighed in disappointment and let her go, knowing she could be right. “I’ll be right back.” She promised.

He nodded then took a seat on the bed, kicking off his shoes. He heard Maria start talking and rolled his eyes. It wasn’t the kids, it was Amy… and Amy and Maria could talk for hours. There was no way he was getting her off the phone for an hour at least.

He ran a hand through his hair and shrugged. He would just have to pass the time, imagining what he would do to her when she was done.

Part Three

Michael walked down the streets of New York and stared at the buildings and the people. Michael had traveled, but he had never been to New York, and this city was the complete opposite of Roswell.

“Move it buddy.” Some man pushed past Michael while he started in awe. He immediately felt embarrassed and continued on his way. His hotel was only a few blocks away.

“Michael Guerin?” A familiar voice made the hair on Michael’s neck stand up. It was a voice he never expected to hear again, and hearing it made him nervous.

He turned around and stood face to face with a man who appeared to be in his early to mid 50’s. “Nasado.” He said.

“Yes, that would be me. Long time no see Michael.” The older man brushed his hand along Michael’s shoulder. “You look like you’ve done good for yourself. All dressed up in your suit and tie.”

Michael couldn’t help but fear this man. Although he knew that Naseado would never do him any harm, the thought that he could hurt Maria or the kids was always in the back of his mind. “Yeah, I’m on my way to a meeting.” Michael finally got out. “With Randolph Mandrake.”

“Wow, you’re meeting with the wealthiest hotel owner in America. You must be a pretty important man Michael. Randolph Mandrake doesn’t just meet with anyone.”

“I’m an architect. He’s building a new hotel in Roswell and my partner and I want his business. It could put my company on the map.” Michael explained.

“That it could… Hmmm… Well good luck Michael. I’ll be seeing you.”

“Um… yeah… bye.” Michael said, always puzzled by the man who was supposed to be his protector. He shrugged off the weird feeling and continued towards his hotel, to check in, then head to his meeting. He wanted to close the deal and get back to Roswell as soon as possible… back to Maria as soon as possible.

* * *

“Michael buys Maria this huge ass house and we get stuck with the bitch work. Typical.” Kyle whined.

Maria rolled her eyes as she took a box from him. “Stop whining Kyle. You offered to help.”

“I was just being nice, I didn’t think you’d actually take me up on it.” He shot back.

“God Kyle, could you be any more rude?” Isabel snapped. “I think I remember Michael spending a few days helping you with things when you and Tess got your place.”

“Ok guys, enough.” Maria said sternly. “We need to get this done before Michael gets back. I want him to just be able to come home from New York and relax.”

“Mommy! Your celly phone is ringing.” Aiden said, running towards Maria with the phone.

“Hello?” Maria said.

“Hey Baby.” Maria smiled at the sound of Michael’s voice.

“Hi. How was your trip?” She asked.

“Good, I slept most of the way. How’s it going with the house?”

“Good, Kyle and Isabel are here helping.” She told him.

“Good, I didn’t want you doing any heavy lifting on your own.”

She rolled her eyes, even though he couldn’t see her. “I’m sure I could handle it.”

“Well anyway, I need to get heading to my meeting, but I’ll call you later tonight.”

“When are you coming home?” She asked in a pouting voice, already missing her husband.

“In a few days. I promise I’ll come back as soon as I can.” He assured her.

“K, I love you.” She said.

“I love you too, tell the kids I love them.”

She nodded. “I will, bye.”

“Bye.”

Maria clicked off the phone and shoved it in her back pocket.

“Oh Michael, I love you sooo much…” Kyle mocked, making kissy noises.

Maria sighed and rolled her eyes at him. “You’re just jealous cause Tess won’t marry you yet.”

Kyle glared at her. “Hey, I got her to move in didn’t I?”

Maria laughed. “Yeah, and she said no when you proposed.”

That shut Kyle up. He grabbed a box and stomped up the stairs while Maria laughed behind him.

She looked around the house and saw that everything was coming together nicely. In a few hours everything would be moved from their old, very small house, into their new, very big house. Maria felt excitement course through her. She had the best husband ever, and she couldn’t wait until he came home so they could start life in their new house.

* * *

“Thank you Mr. Mandrake.” Michael said, shaking the older man’s hand.

“No Mr. Guerin, thank you. It was a pleasure meeting with you and I’ll get back to you about this contract within the next few days. Would you like me to contact you in Roswell or will you be here in New York?”

Michael shook his head. “No sir, I’ll be heading home in the morning, you can fax those papers to me.”

“Sound great Michael.” Mr. Mandrake smiled at him. “I look forward to working with you and meeting your partner in two weeks.”

“I look forward to working with you as well. Goodbye.” Michael nodded and headed out the door. He wanted to cry out in excitement. He had won over Randolph Mandrake in less than an hour. Now he could go home, way earlier than expected and help Maria move things into the house. And in two weeks he would start the design on the new Mandrake Hotel.

* * *

Michael walked down the street to a small little café for dinner. It wasn’t very crowded so he picked a seat by the window so that he could people watch as he ate.

“What can I get for you?” The old, wrinkled, gray-haired waitress asked him.

“Just a coffee and… a cheeseburger with fries.” He told her.

She quickly scribbled the order on the pad and walked away. Michael turned his attention the streets of New York City. It seemed like thousands of people walked by and Michael couldn’t believe how different they all were. In Roswell it seemed like everyone was the same. That was definitely not how it was in here.

“Here’s your food.” The ever-friendly waitress said, setting down a plate, cup of coffee. “And here’s your bill.” She slapped the piece of paper down in front of him.

“Thanks.” He said.

He grabbed his burger and again looked towards the window, but this time what he saw shocked him. Four people walking down the street. There wasn’t anything special about them to the normal person, but for Michael, seeing them made his skin crawl.

The four people looked exactly like Max, Isabel, Tess… and himself. Michael jumped up from the booth and started towards the door.

“Hey, you have to pay for that.” The waitress yelled. Michael threw a twenty at her.

“Keep the change.” He called, and then hurried out of the café. Once he was outside he slowed down, keeping the four look-alikes in sight, but making sure they couldn’t see him.

He noticed that they were talking, like normal people. The one that looked like Michael had his arm draped around the Isabel look alike. The other girl, Tess’s twin, followed Max’s twin closely, reminding Michael of the way Tess used to follow Max back when she was in love with him.

Michael wanted to get closer, to hear what they were saying, but he was nervous. He didn’t want them to see him. He had no idea what they would do if they did.

He followed them around a corner into a deserted street. The only inhabitants were a few rats that scurried around.

Michael watched as the group stopped. Then everything seemed to happen very fast. The Max twin seemed to get distracted by something while Michael’s duplicate raised his hand towards a metal balcony hanging above Max. The Isabel look alike grabbed Tess’s twin and held her hand over her mouth, pulling her away as the balcony crashed down onto Max’s twin.

Michael’s twin looked towards Isabel’s twin and smiled, indicating that he was happy with the outcome. Michael’s whole body froze up once he realized what had just happened. They had killed their Max… they murdered him.

Michael couldn’t think. He started to run, but ran straight into a trashcan, knocking it over, a loud crash echoing through the alley.

The duplicates looked towards him and he started running faster. He knew that he had been seen, and that he was in serious trouble.

Part Four

Michael collapsed against the door to his hotel room, panting and breathing heavily. He had lost the dupes a few blocks away, but didn’t want to take any chances of them being able to see where he was staying.

“You couldn’t leave well enough alone could you?” Michael jumped at the sound of another voice in the room. He reached and flipped on the switch, lights illuminating the room. Sitting on the bed was Nasado.

“What are you doing here?” Michael asked angrily. “Get out.” He demanded.

“I’m here because you just signed your death certificate, and it’s my job to protect you.”

“Yeah, what a great job you’ve been doing.” Michael snapped. “We haven’t seen you for seven years.”

“I’ve been here tracking them. They’re trouble.” Naseado told him.

“Who are they? Why do they look like us?” Michael’s mind was reeling. Was this even real? His life was so perfect, and one stupid business trip had changed the whole thing.

“They are the second set. They are exactly like you, only the way they have been raised has made them who they are, just as the way you were raised made you who you are.” Nasado explained. “You are more human… but they… they are completely alien.”

Michael looked at Naseado and furrowed his eyebrows. He didn’t understand. Naseado sighed. “There were two sets of pods Michael. You guys were safely hidden, while the other set was a reject. We dumped them in the sewers. We knew that they were no use to us now. However they did completely remember everything from your past… They remembered everything you didn’t.”

“So why did they kill their Max?” Michael asked.

“Zan… Who knows why they killed him. Rath and Lonnie are evil. Both so determined to get back to Antar… They’d do anything, obviously Zan was in their way.”

“And me?” Michael asked.

“Now it would seem that you are in their way. I believe that they will stop at nothing to destroy you. They aren’t like you Michael…”

“No, they’re like you. Killing anyone that gets into their way. What kind of people do we come from?” He snickered. “Look, I need to get some sleep. My plane leaves early tomorrow and I’d just like to get home to my family.” Michael told Naseado.

“You think you can just go home and this will be over? They know where you live. They know how to find you. They’ll kill you and you’re whole family. They don’t care who they hurt Michael.”

Michael ran his hands through his messy hair. “Great, so what should I do?”

“I think I may have a plan.” Nasado said with a smile.

* * *

“Yo Rath, your dupe is gonna tell the King that we killed ours.” Lonnie’s thick New York accent echoed throughout the tunnels of the sewer.

“Yeah and now we’s got to eliminate him too.” Rath told her.

“Great, killing someone else.” Ava snapped. “Why can you just take lives and not care.”

Rath grabbed Ava and threw her into the wall. He held his hand tightly around her neck and she gasped for air. “Don’t make me kill you too bitch.”

“Rath, let her go.” Lonnie instructed.

“You fucking mess up our plan and you’ll be joining your lover in hell you got that?” Rath said, then let Ava go. She slid down the wall to the ground clutching her neck.

“We’ll take care of that pretty boy punk.” Rath promised. “He’s dead.”

Part Five

"Do you really think this will work?" Michael asked Nasedo.

"It better, or you'll be dead."

Michael rolled his eyes. "Great, that makes me feel really good.

"Meet me at the assigned location... you know when." Nasedo said, freaking Michael out. He was so secretive and cryptic. Michael couldn't imagine what it must have been like to live with him, as Tess did for all those years.

"See ya then." Michael said, nodding at his protector. He made his way back to his hotel room and sat down on the bed. He looked towards the phone and an overwhelming need to talk to Maria overtook him.

He dialed the phone quickly and waited as it rang a few times. "Hello?" Michael smiled. Hearing her voice was like hearing an angel.

"Hey Baby." He said. "How are you?"

"Michael!" Maria said happily. "I was just thinking about you."

"Really?" He asked.

"Well I always think about you." She told him.

"I was thinking about you too. I just wanted to call and tell you that I love you."

"I love you too." She told him.

Michael wanted to tell her about everything, that this could be the last phone conversation they could ever have, but he couldn't. He wouldn't do that to her. He would scare her.

"Can I talk to the kids?" He asked.

"Yeah, hold on just a sec."

Michael sighed into the phone as Maria called Aiden, Lauren, and Lucy into the room.

"Hi Daddy!" A chipper Aiden sung into the phone.

"Hey Buddy. Are you taking care of Mommy and the twins like I asked you?"

"I sure am Daddy! I'm a good man of the house."

Michael laughed. "That's good. Let me talk to the twins now."

"Ok. Bye Daddy."

"Bye Aiden, I love you."

"Love you too Daddy."

"Daddy!"

"Daddy!"

Michael laughed. Maria must have had the girls on separate phones because they were both talking. "Hey Lucy, Hey Lauren."

“Miss you Daddy.” Lauren said.

"I miss you guys too. I'll be home in a few days."

"We wuv you Daddy." Lucy said.

"I love you too. I'll talk to you later."

"Buh byes!" They said.

Michael felt a twinge in his heart at hearing how much his family missed him. If this didn't go right... well he wouldn't even think of that.

"Well, I hate to cut this so short but I have to get dinner for the kids or they might go nuts." Maria said, when she got back on the phone.

"Ok, well I'll call you tomorrow."

"Alright. I love you."

"I love you too Maria, I love you so much."

"I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye."

"Bye." Michael hung up the phone and collapsed back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. He started praying to God that there would be a tomorrow.

* * *
Rath and Lonnie watched as Michael Guerin stood by himself on a street corner. He held a piece of pizza in his hand, eating it casually, just watching the people passing him by.

What moron walked around New York by their self, especially when he knew that someone wanted him dead.

"What a freakin' dumbass." Lonnie said quietly. "What the fuck is he doing?"

"He's having his last supper." Rath answered. Lonnie rolled her eyes at him.

"Real funny. Look, I say we just finish him right now. We've got the gun, and we can melt it afterwards. No murder weapon, no one will see us."

"I say you're right." Rath agreed.

Lonnie pulled out a small gun and pointed it straight at the unsuspecting Michael Guerin. She aimed towards his head... and pulled the trigger.

Part Six

Maria danced around the living room with the twins and Aiden, singing and laughing, and un-packing things. “Harry got up, dressed all in black, went down to the station and he never came back.” Maria sang, to Don Henely’s voice as it traveled around the room. “In a New York Minute, everything could change. In a New York minute things can get pretty strange. In a New York minute everything can change. In a New York minute…”

"Ahh!" Maria jumped when she heard a loud pounding on the door. She laughed at herself for being frightened and brushed a few stray hairs from her face as she went to answer the door.

"Oh hi Jim.” Maria greeted her stepfather lovingly. She could remember the days when she had been afraid of him, but those days were long past. He was such a great man. He had been a great husband to her Mom and a great grandfather. Unfortunately right now he didn’t look very happy. “What’s going on?” She asked.

The man in front of her swallowed hard. “Can I… come in?” He asked hesitantly.

“Oh yeah! Sure!” She exclaimed. “I’m sorry for the mess. I’m still trying to get things situated.”

“It’s not a problem… Listen… Maria, can we talk?”

“GRANDPA!” Aiden ran and jumped into Jim’s arms. Jim laughed and hugged the boy. Aiden absolutely adored Jim. He always talked about being a Sheriff just like his grandpa.

“Hey Aiden.” Jim set him down. “Do you think you could be a good boy for me and take your sisters to play while I talk to your Mommy?” Jim asked, knelling down to his height.

“Yup! I’m the man of the house.” Aiden said, sticking his small chest out proudly.

Jim laughed as the young boy coaxed his sisters into the other room.

Maria sang softly, unconsciously to the music. “You better take a fools advice and take care of your own. One day they’re here, next day they’re gone…” She cleared some boxes from the couch. “So what’s up?” She asked, turning down the radio.

“Well, I don’t exactly know how to tell you this Maria. So I‘m just going to say it.”

Maria felt a knot tighten in her stomach and a lump form in her throat. “What’s wrong?”

“I just got a call from the New York police.” He started.

“Oh God…”

“Maria… I’m sorry to tell you this… but Michael has been shot.”

Maria jumped off the couch. “Oh my God. He’s ok right?” She asked terrified of the answer.

“I’m sorry Maria, Michael is dead.”

In a New York minute
everything can change
In a New York minute
things can get pretty strange
In a New York minute
everything can change
In a New York minute…
