Summary: Hahahaha Yeah Right This idea was bugging me so I HAD to write it down.

A/N : This needs a title so if you got one can you PLEASE tell me.

LIZ'S POV

Dear Diary,
5 years ago, the pod squad, Maria and Kyle left to ‘fight for freedom on Antar’ and hey, who can blame them no one was there to hold them back. 7 years ago I left Roswell and never returned except to visit Alex’s grave. I never regret leaving Roswell and probably never will, all because of a little seven letter word.
Destiny.
That little word is the worst word in my vocabulary list. It ruined my life, it ruined my soul and it killed perfect Lizzy Parker.
Amazing how such tiny words can do so much damage, isn’t it?
I’m much stronger now. Here’s the list of things that perfect Lizzy Parker does:
She swears
She has an attitude
She has a tattoo on her right shoulder.
She goes by the name Elizabeth.
She has a rule : You don’t like my opinions don’t listen.
And lucky last : She is thankful for Tess ruining her life and making her this way.

Bang

Liz went to go investigate what made the noise. She saw the door burst down and a man standing in the doorway amidst the smoke coming from it.
Damn he was fine. He had short spiky black hair with ice blue eyes that could freeze the world over. He was well built and wore jeans and black shirt that clung to his muscles. His face was emotionless with no smile and no life in it. Then she heard 3 words come from that mouth.
“Hello, Elizabeth Parker”
Then the world spiraled down into nothingness.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“My lord, Nicholas is here to report” a frightened guard said.
“Send him in” Khivar replied in a gruff voice.
The guard left quickly and Nicholas came in.
“Report” Khivar said simply.
“Zan is spreading hope and the people are starting to retaliate, my lord”
“How long until they attack?”
“At least a few months, my lord”
“Then find something to scare them in a few months Nicholas”
“My lord we have tried and they aren’t scared with the Royal 4 on there side.”
“Then find something that will scare the royal 4 Nicholas” Khivar shouted out.
“I have my lord”
“Well what is it?” Khivar was getting irritated.
“It’s a human, my lord”
“What’s so scary about a pathetic human?”
“The king’s in love with her, my lord”
“So?”
“If we threaten him with her, he’ll give in. It’s part of his human emotions, my lord,”
“Then what are we waiting for, get the ship ready”
“We, my lord?”
“I’m not going to have this ruined Nicholas so MOVE IT”
“My lord” Nicholas bowed and left the room.

Khivar’s Thoughts.

Zan. Pathetic he is. A pathetic threat. The people’s faith in him is disrupting. How is he going to get past the unstoppable army ‘he’ built anway. He is weak to love a human. He is weak to believe he can win.
This human seems interesting to have captured the heart of that weak King.

On Earth

“My lord we are on Earth and have located the human.”
“Take me to her”

Liz’s Apartment

“How do we get through my lord?”
“Easy” Khivar raised his hand and blasted the door down.
He saw a little figure ran into the room as he stepped into the doorway.
*Not bad few a human* he saw a little straight hair brunette who wore leather pants the clung to her skin and a red top that show all her curves. She was small and has a look that said *What the hell do you think your doing*
Khivar said the only thing her could think off.
“Hello, Elizabeth Parker” and he saw her fall.

Chapter 2

Elizabeth woke up with a splitting headache. She looked around at her surroundings but all she saw was this silver-blue color. She tried to get up but she was held back down by some invisible force.
Just then a door that she couldn’t see opened. Elizabeth just figured it was her imagination and this was all a dream.
“Get up human”
“Nicholas? I must be dreaming”
“Get up” he rose his foot to kick her.
“I can’t something’s holding me down.” Elizabeth was confused as she was not fully awake yet.
Nicholas waved his hand over her head.
“Hurry up and get up” he nearly shouted.
Elizabeth thinking she was dreaming got up and stumbled. Nicholas caught her.
“Now I’m going to have another bath again” he muttered. He dragged Elizabeth all the way to the meeting room.
He dumped Elizabeth on the floor before Khivar and bowed.
“My lord”
“Good she is here. Now leave” he commanded with a booming voice. Everyone left even the guards.
Elizabeth groaned and clutched her head.
Khivar saw this and smirked. *Such a weak species*
“Hello Elizabeth” Khivar said lifting up her chin.
*Spark*
Something happened as soon as he touched Elizabeth. Something electric zoomed up his arm and spread around his body. He snatched back his arm as if he were bitten by a snake and looked at his hand as if it had betrayed him.
He looked at Elizabeth and saw that she was looking at him with a confused expression. Her hair had fallen around the side of her face and she looked lost. Then she surprised him.
“Who the fuck are you?” she spat out.
Khivar slapped her face.
“Don’t you dear talk to me like that human” he snarled. He saw that her lip had started bleeding. He almost regretted what he had done. Almost. *If I only had a heart* he thought.
“Do you know who I am?” he asked as he walked around her.
She looked him up and down. “FBI? No that can’t be it you called me human” the world around her was spinning and she was having trouble thinking straight.
“So you must be an alien” She said it slowly as if she had discovered something deadly.
“Congratulations human. Now you have to figure out which alien I am”
“Can’t world spinning around”
“You species are really pathetic aren’t you?” he lifted her head with his shoe now be careful not to touch her. He removed his shoe from her face and it dropped down.
“Guards” he shouted out. Elizabeth clutched her head again to protect herself from the noise.
Two guards entered as soon as he said it.
“Get the human some food and water, clothes and cure her injuries” he commanded.
If the guards were curious about his actions they didn’t say anything. They just bowed picked a now unconscious Elizabeth up and left.

*The human is more dangerous than I thought* Khivar thought as he looked out the window and saw sparkling stars.

Elizabeth woke up having a dream where she was kidnapped by aliens. She looked around and realized she wasn’t dreaming. She got out of the dark blue silk covered bed and walked around. The only thing that was in the room was the bed and some kind of wooden chair and a window. Elizabeth went to see if she could see anything outside so she could get an idea of where she was, what she saw gave her a good idea where she was. Stars so technically she was in space. *I’m in space* she started pacing. *That’s not so bad at least I kinda know where I am* she thought to herself. *I mean it’s only like I’m god knows where probably light years away from earth. I’m starting to sound like Maria*
Then the door that definitely was no there before, opened and this beautiful 20 something year old lady came in.
She had light brown hair that flowed down her back with violet eyes that looked so warm and friendly. She was tanned and had a smile on her cherry colored lips and was as tall Isabel. The dress she wore was dark blue and matched her eyes. It gushed all the way down to her feet. There were no sleeves and had a low neckline. The dress was held together by two straps crossed into a ‘X’ at the back. The dress looked like it was molded into her body as it showed all her curves.
“Hello, you must be Elizabeth” she said with a musical voice. “I have been waiting for you” Right now she had this serene smile and her eyes looked like she had all the knowledge of the universe stored in them.
“Me, why me?”
“Because you are going to help me restore the rightful King to the throne of Antar”
“I am?”
“Oh yes. It has been prophesized”
“It has? What if I don’t want to?” Elizabeth said rebelliously.
“But you have to it is your destiny” she whispered into Elizabeth’s ear.
The lady was walking away.
“Wait who are you. Tell me your name” Elizabeth shouted out to the now empty room.
“You already know who I am Elizabeth. I am Serena” whispered a fading voice. “Welcome Elizabeth Parker. Welcome to your destiny”
Elizabeth woke up with a jolt.
*Welcome to your destiny* were the words running through her mind.
The door opened again and Elizabeth moved to the edge of the bed expecting the woman from her dream to come in.
*Serena, her name is Elizabeth. She’s the one Max told you about* she thought to herself.
Instead she was relieved when she saw Nicholas.
“Come on human. We are expected for dinner”

A/N: Thanks for the ff ppl and sorry I haven't updated for a while but I had exams then was taken on a holiday with my friends. Here's the new part. A bit short but hey at least i finally updated.

Chapter 3.

Elizabeth entered a room with a table with only two seats by it. She looked around. The wall directly in front of her was made out of glass and you could see all these mystical colors as they zoomed past galaxies and stars in hyperspace.
The two walls on the side of her were metallic blue and were bare. She looked at the table before them it had some kind of flowers. *Weird* Elizabeth thought. She looked behind her to see if Nicholas was there but he had seemed to disappeared.
Elizabeth sat down at the table looking at the knife, fork and spoon that were resting beside the plate. The doors opened and standing there was Serena.
“Hello Elizabeth” Serena said formally, slightly nodding her head,
“Serena” Elizabeth replied breathlessly.
“It took you awhile to get here but you’re here so stand up and let me have a look at you” Serena said with an amused smile. Elizabeth did what she was asked to do without even realizing it until she had stood up.
“A bit battered, perhaps, but that will come in handy soon.”
Serena said grabbing Elizabeth’s hands and looking over Elizabeth’s body. Then Serena looked into Elizabeth’s eyes. Liz felt like she was falling. Falling into a pool of beautiful shades of blue, pink and purple. She felt a gentle probing in her mind but she didn’t mind. Liz was happy, content for the moment. Everything was peaceful. The outside didn’t exist. Not even time. The place was mystical. Heaven.

“Well then shall we eat. You must be starving.”

Liz snapped back reality. Liz looked at the table about to tell Serena hat there was no food but as she looked some food suddenly appeared. Serena led Liz to the table and Liz noticed that the chairs had been moved so that they were next to each other instead of opposite sides of the table.
“Are you feeling better Liz” Serena asked her. Those simple words. At first Elizabeth didn’t know what she meant. Then her memory came flooded to her. Her door busting down, Nicholas, the man with the sparks. Everything. Before she had been aware that all this happen but the full reality never hit her, she just didn’t care.
Until now.
“Where am I?” Liz asked with alarm.
“Calm down child. All shall be explained.”
“Now” Liz said firmly.
“I had to put your mind to sleep for a little while”
“You put my mind to sleep.” Liz repeated slowly.
“You were not ready to handle the truth” Serena replied cutting up a piece of steak. “Eat your food, the servants aboard took great care in preparing food and cutlery, I believe it is called on Earth, for you, my lady”
Liz took a bite out of the chop on her plate. “So I’m not ready to handle the truth now” Liz asked.
“Why must you repeat everything I say? The things I say are for a reason and I cannot lie to you so they area the truth. You also had to get used to the atmosphere of the ship.”
“Where are we?” Liz asked calming down.
“On our way to Antar” Serena replied tranquilly.
“Antar?” Liz exclaimed.
“Why must you repeat everything I say child.” Serene told her exasperated.
Liz remembered the sparks she got when Khivar touched her.
“Khivar” she whispered to herself.
Serena looked amused but said nothing.
“What’s going on?” Liz asked in a deadly tone.
“You are not ready for the truth yet. Why don’t we get you cleaned up?” Serena said to Liz side-stepping the question. Unfortunately Liz saw it.
“You’re ignoring the question” Liz accused.
“Yes, I am. You, Khivar and the rest of the ‘V’ constellation is not ready for the truth.” Serena said standing up her eyes having turned a greeny yellow.
“Things have still got to happen before I tell ANYONE anything, so if I tell you the truth you will interfere and I have spent to long raising you, Khivar and the royal four to have one person interfere with fate. Now,” Serena said calming down at once. “Let us see to cleaning you up and dealing with those shocks running through your arms. I’m surprised you are not blowing anything up.” Serena started walking out of the room and Elizabeth still in shock had no choice but to follow her.

As soon as Nicholas had dropped the human of at the room he immediately reported to Khivar.
“My lord allows your company” The guard informed Nicholas. Nicholas replied with a nod and entered the room.
“My lord.” Nicholas said bowing in front of Khivar.
“What do you want Nicholas?” Khivar was not in the best of moods as of now.
“My lady, Serena, has requested the presence of the human”
“What for?” Khivar snapped.
“I do not know my lord, she sidestepped all of my questions and then told me to exit her facilities” Nicholas replied.
“Of course, Serena always gets her way” Khivar replied. “You may leave now Nicholas” Khivar replied turning to the window before him staring out at space.
“Guard” he yelled out.
“Yes, my lord” a guard replied.
“I request my lady, Serena’s, presence immediately” He snapped now irritated.
“At once my lord” the guard left.

5 minutes later………

“You called, my lord?” Serena said without bowing in an amused voice.
“What are you intents Serena” he asked her bluntly.
“That is of no concern to you” she replied
“Serena” Khivar said with a warning in his tone.
“I do not have time for this nonsense Khivar.”
“And I do not have time for yours” Khivar retorted looking away from the window.
“What were you doing with the human” he asked.
“I must talk with Nicholas. He never could keep his mouth shut for some reason.” she replied.
“Answer me!” Khivar yelled.
“You have your duties and I have mine. They do not include me taking orders from you and if you remember I am not some slave. I work for the prophecy and no one else. So you and Elizabeth can stop asking me all these questions. I have said it once and I will probably say it again.” Her voice was getting louder with each word and things were starting to shake from all the power radiating of her.
“I WILL NOT HAVE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE INTERFERE WITH CENTURIES OF WORK. I HAVE GIVEN TOO MUCH TO HAVE ALL THIS RUINED.” The door had flown open and she stomped out and as she had before she had regained her calm in an amazing amount of time.
“What will come, will come Khivar. Are you ready for it?” she asked out of no where.

Elizabeth got out of the bath dried of and went into the room next door to the bathroom. Lying on the bed was a white dress one like the one Serena was wearing. She put it on. It fitted perfectly. Then she heard some one screaming.

“I WILL NOT HAVE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE INTERFEREING WITH CENTURIES OF WORK. I HAVE GIVEN TOO MUCH TO HAVE ALL THIS RUINED.”

“Serena?” Elizabeth asked herself. She poked her head out of the door and saw some guards running away. Elizabeth then saw Serena come down her hall walking with her un- human grace and calmness.
“You’re finally out of the bath” Serena said. “And the dress fits you perfectly” she assessed. “Now we shall sleep”
“I’m not tired” Liz mumbled.
“Of course not” Serena said with a smile. “Ushkra” Liz fell into a fitful sleep while Serena floated Elizabeth to the bed.

Chapter 4

Liz was in a blissful sleep. She was in the crashdown with Alex, Maria and Kyle. She watched as everyone laughed as if they didn’t have a care in the world. Micheal, Max and Isabel came through the door and everything was perfect. She didn’t want to leave.
She was happy. She hadn’t felt that feeling for so long it was like a new unknown concept.
She had found home. She was content.
But felt if something was waiting for her on the outside. She more powerful than this but that feeling was soon forgotten as Max motioned for her to join them.

Serena sighed. She saw how happy Liz was in her dream and was thinking about letting Liz sleep for a little while longer but she knew she couldn’t. She had too many things to do before Liz was allowed to sleep happily. She knew there would be a day when Liz was going to find happiness but things still had to be done.
“Wakliesha” Serena whispered in Liz’s ear.
Liz starting to stir.
“Time to get up Elizabeth. We have reached Antar” Serena told her.
“Antar?” Liz said still half asleep.
“Please do not start that again. I really don’t feel like you repeating everything I say today” Serena told her exasperated. “Now come along Khivar and Nicholas are waiting for us” Serena told her walking away. Liz followed her. When she saw Khivar and some other fellow standing there, she straightened her back and held her head high. She would NOT show weakness, against those she considered the enemy. Khivar snorted at her attempts.

“Khivar” Serena said in a warning tone. “And not a word from you either Nicholas”

“I didn’t say a thing” The other man protested. “And I don’t see was you call me by that awful name”

“It is merely to annoy you Nicholas” Serena retorted.

Suddenly it clicked in Liz’s head. This was Nicholas. Of course he wouldn’t look the same because he was in a husk when he was on Earth. It was only logical that he returned to his true form while returning home to Antar. He looked like a general. He was as tall as Khivar with a stern straight mouth that went with his steel grey eyes. His hair was jet black and he stood like a sergeant. He wore some sort of armor that had this design with curls and swirls on it.

“I do not see why the human has to come with us” Nicholas stated with obvious distaste.

“Because I said so and if you have anything to say about it I suggest you take it up with my husband” Serena replied with an arched eyebrow.

Nicholas stepped back.

“I didn’t think so. Nicholas give me your arm. Khivar take Elizabeth’s” Nicholas sighed and held out his arm for her. Serena linked her arm in Nicholas’s.

“I’m not touching her/him” Khivar and Liz stated at the same time remembering the sparks.

Serena’s eyes flashed. “And why not?”

Khivar and Liz just stared at her.

“Do not tell me you are afraid of each other?” She said slyly.

“I’m not afraid of a stupid human” Khivar nearly yelled.

Serena just raised her brow again. “I think you are. What will the court think of this. Khivar afraid of touching a woman” Serena replied avoiding the word human.
Khivar was muttering under his breath then grabbed her arm and linked it with his. He jumped at the sparks running through his body and refused to look at Liz.
Liz felt jolts running down her body. Now that her head was clearer than last time that Khivar touched her she was shocked. She felt as if something were pricking her. Elizabeth’s powers started running through her body. Khivar just stared at her arms and then looked away glaring holes at the back of Serena’s head muttering under his breath about blackmail.

“Oh and Elizabeth?” Serena asked for her attention.

“Yes?”

“You have my permission to kick His Majesty Khivar, if he becomes tiresome. He won’t retaliate, it’s not permitted” Serena said smiling. “As a matter of fact you have my permission to kick Nicholas while you’re at it”

Elizabeth smirked for some reason, knowing that she was safe as long as Serena watched over her.

The door opened and Elizabeth was stunned. The sky was a mix of purple and blue with a hint of pink. There were no clouds in the sky. Further in the distance you could see a castle. Even from the distance you could see magnificent it was. It was like it was made out of crystal and had towers every where.
She looked before her and realized with a slight amazement that she was walking towards an army of men. They had all there amour on and in the crowd were ladies nobles and peasants.
*Reminds me of the medieval times* Elizabeth said.

“What are all these people doing here?” Khivar asked Serena. For some reason Nicholas and Khivar always directed there questions to Serena.

Serena, who was currently walking beside Liz and Khivar with Nicholas, smiled.
“They were probably awoken by my husbands temper and wanted to know the cause of it.” She stated.

*She has a husband?*. Elizabeth knew ‘of’ Serena because of future Max telling her but it didn’t occur to her that Serena was in a relationship or had a family. She also remembered her saying something about him in the ship but only barely as she was focusing on trying to control her powers.

As she got closer she noticed that a man stood in front of the large crowd. He looked like he was going to burst with anger. Also standing with him were a boy and a girl. As she stared at the three of them she was stunned. They were beautiful.
The biggest man had blonde hair that went down to his shoulders and was well-muscled. He was a bit pale but held an air about him that was very dark right now. Her green eyes looked as if the held a fire inside. His face held no smile. He wore some kind of robe that was black. It suited his mood.

The boy and girl looked to be in there teens. They both had blue eyes with hints of green in the middle of them. They were surrounded by some kind of graceful light around them. They were tanned and looked nearly identical, had they been the same gender. There faces held slight smirks of mischievousness. There eyes were filled of great wisdom and understanding. They both had blonde hair but the only thing that varied was there heights. The boy was the same height as the older man but the girl was only up to there shoulders.

“We must talk wife” The man who appeared to be Serena’s husband said in an oddly quiet tone. It was odd because it did not seem to suit his mood.

“About what?” Serena asked innocently.

“About un-discussed trips to other galaxies” he told her still appearing to be calm. But in his eyes you could see it all. The anger, the protectiveness, the torment he had been through, all shown in his eyes.

“I was on strict instruction from the master and if I recall” she said looking as if she were trying to recall something,
“If I recall properly” she began again. “Your name did not come up once, let alone implied in our conversation.” He looked like he was offended and saw no need for that comment

“We will speak of this later” he told her leaving no question for argument.

“If you wish” Serena replied shrugging.

“Let me look at her” he asked, not politely though. The rest of the crowd had as much of an idea of what was going on as Elizabeth did, she realized. And that was none. The only people that seemed to have a clue were the boy and girl whose smiles had grown.

“Elizabeth, come here” Serena instructed her. For some reason Liz felt complied to do as Serena requested. The man looked her over. Liz felt suddenly embarrassed to be looked over as she was by this stranger.

He sighed “She will have to do” he stated. “Children come here” he told the teens that were next to him. The two teens moved closer. As she got the chance to look closer she noticed how flawless there skin was.
“This is my family” Serena told her. “This is my husband, Kheva” For some reason Liz curtsied and rose before she had even known that she had. Kheva nodded in return.

“This is my daughter Kiara” Kiara curtsied as gracefully as Liz imagined anyone could, and stopped Liz before she could respond.

“No my lady” Kiara said “It is I, who is honored to meet you”

“And this is my son, Lakim” He grabbed her hand and kissed it after she curtsied.
She felt someone tense behind her but when she looked back all she saw was Khivar so Liz shrugged.
“And where is my other child?” Serena asked looking over her family.

“She’s gone missing again. She’s been missing ever since you left.” Kiara told her mother. “I don’t suppose you have any idea why Tyker?” she asked.

Liz looked around to see who Kiara was talking to but then she saw Nicholas was the person that Kiara was looking at. It occurred to Liz that Nicholas was a human name.
She saw Nicholas’s jaw clenched and tense. Kiara just smiled.

“Ala kesh sorn werf do serth, ret fos grit wih bot kerish” Kiara told him. It was supposedly aimed at Nicholas but as she got to the end of her sentence she looked at Khivar. Both of them started to fidget with something and they glared with a snare at Kiara. Kiara laughed and Liz started to wonder what she said.

“Shall we retire for dinner?” Lakim finally said. Serena and Kheva nodded. Lakim held out his arm and Liz took it out of some weird instinct she now had in how to act around people who are like royalty

Behind her Khivar tensed and Lakim laughed for no apparent reason.

When Liz finally got to the castle, after looking around something that seemed like a city. The castle was made out of some kind of crystal that you wouldn’t find on Earth. It was real tall and looked to be a cross from Minis Tirith in the Lord of the Rings movie, Return of the King, the Tahj Mahal and a medieval castle. It was breathtaking.

The doors swung open by two guards standing next to the doors. There was a massive statue of some kind that had some sort of glow around it. It looked something like a throne but had some type of things that was twisted around it. It just stood there in the middle of the room, by itself.

It started glowing as soon as they entered the room. Serena and her family along nodded there heads as if to acknowledge it. It glowed brighter, as if returning the favor. Nicholas, I mean Tyker and Khivar approached and bowed and the ‘thing’ glowed brighter, just as before.

Elizabeth still had her hand on Lakim’s arm and just stood staring at the statue. If she peered closer she would bet her life that it had some sort of colour inside it. A dark blur sort of fire implanted in the middle of it. The she heard Lakim whisper in her ear and Liz was regretfully returned to reality.

“Come on dear, we must eat, before we retire” All Liz could do was nod and walk off.

When she entered what was something like a main hall, Liz guessed, she expected it to be full off people welcoming there King back or something. She was in for disappointment. There were only eight places at the table. One for each, Liz guessed and the eighth probably for Serena’s other daughter. Who was still nowhere to be seen.

“You can sit by me, dear” Lakim told her. Liz just found herself nodding again in reply.

Khivar sat at the end of the table with Kheva seated on the left and Serena seated on the right. Nicholas sat next to Kheva and Lakim seated next to his mother. Liz was naturally seated next to Lakim facing an empty chair who she guessed was the daughter who was ‘missing in action’. And Kiara was seated next to Liz.

“I wonder where she is?” Kiara asked to no one in particular.

“Who?” Lakim asked his sister.

“Andena” She told her brother.

“Probably climbing trees or swimming in some unknown pool” Nicholas told Kiara his face emotionless but tense.

“Perhaps but we haven’t seen her in a long time” Kiara said with a regretful sigh.

“She’s been out longer than this” Lakim replied.

“But usually we actually know where she is” Kiara replied with a hint of worry.

“Usually?” Liz asked curiously before she even realized she spoke.

“Oh, forgive us Elizabeth” Lakim started. “Our sister likes to take extended trips to who knows where and scare us. We have gotten use to them by now but that doesn’t stop us from worrying, especially when things are getting rowdy around here.”

Elizabeth noticed that Serena, Kheva and Khivar had started up a conversation on there own.

“What do you plan to do when the Royal 4 come to rescue Elizabeth” Kheva asked.

“Kill them” Khivar replied in an emotionless voice, his face and eyes set like tone.

Liz nearly dropped her fork but she just managed to hold it. She looked down at her plate and listened intently.

“You will not harm them” Serena told him. Liz sighed.

“Then why did you tell me I could” Khivar asked her obviously irritated.

“I said no such thing” Serena replied. “What I said was that you had my permission to get Elizabeth, I said nothing about harming the Royal 4 in any physical way. AM I understood?”

Khivar stayed silent. Liz couldn’t handle anymore of this. So she just got up and left. Elizabeth didn’t even know where she was going. All she knew was that she had to get out of wherever she was and warn her friends. She heard Lakim shout after her but that only made her run faster. Khivar ordered some guards to go after her but they were halted by Kheva. Liz ran through so many halls and turned so many corners that when she finally stopped she had absolutely no idea where she was.
She sat slumped down against the wall and hugged her legs to her chest.
She stayed there for so many hours she didn’t even know if it was night or day, as it seemed like forever.

She heard footsteps. Liz shivered it was getting cold, so she reasoned that it was still night.
Liz thought it was her imagination.

Big Mistake.

Liz suddenly felt a hand on her mouth and a voice, whose owner had smelly breath, was breathing against her ear.
Liz started screaming and kicking.

“Silence little one or else I’ll end up having to kill you won’t I sweetling” he whispered in a deep and somehow ugly voice.

Liz stopped. She was the pushed against the wall and pulled up to her full height.

The man looked her over and licked his lips.

“Yummy yummy yummy” he told her. “Can’t wait till I can taste you” he told her grabbing her hair and pulling her towards him. He started turning around but found himself pushed against the wall with a foot against his throat.

“Let the girl go” the girl said. He reluctantly let her go. He seemed afraid of the girl.

“I don’t see why I should, I found her so I should get to keep her”

“You should because if you don’t you’ll find that I’ll punch you head so far down your body that your have to stick a toothbrush up your ass to brush your teeth. Not that you have any” The girl replied. She let him go. He walked away although looked like he would rather run.
“And tell everyone that if they touch the girl it’s going to be they heads added to my collection” she yelled after them.

“Ah thanks” Liz told the girl. As she looked closer, her rescuer reminded her of a panther. She had jet black hair and green eyes. Liz half expected them to be yellow. She was tall about 5’8 and tanned. Her lips were blood red probably from lipstick or whatever they called it here. Her lips held no smile but she didn’t frown. She wore some black dress. It had rips and cut everywhere. It covered everything that needed to be covered but showed her flat stomach. She looked fit and pissed. She walked like a panther, Liz concluded after walking with her. She walked in strides.

“Your welcome. What were you doing down there anyway?”

“I was running from someone”

The chick didn’t seem too disturbed by her answer. She seemed to mind her own business.

Liz was walking as fast as she could to keep up turning corners that she didn’t even remember turning.

“Elizabeth Parker” Her rescuer just raised her eyebrow.

“Andena” Her rescuer told Liz

“Your Serena’s daughter” Liz said in an accusing voice.

“Oh, great they’re back” Andena muttered under her breath.

They walked back to wherever they were walking to in silence. She looked at Andena again. She was different than her siblings. Lakim and Kiara looked like angels, pure and innocent. Andena looked like if someone made a wrong move and touched her, that person would suddenly find there arm one hands shorter. Liz started to wonder who ‘he’ was.

“Where are we going?” Elizabeth asked.

“To see Kiara. You can stay there while I go talk with Khivar and Tyker” Andena replied.

“They’re trying to kill my friends” Liz told her seriously, for some reason trusting her.

“Don’t be silly, my parents have spent to much time in raising you and the rest of them to let to idiotic people satisfy there own childish needs.” Andena told her in a tone which told Elizabeth there was no room for argument. Andena walked into a room and Liz saw Kiara looking into a mirror while brushing her hair.

“How nice of you to return Dena, it touches me deeply that you remembered us. I see you have met Elizabeth” Kiara told her sister sarcastically.

“I need you to look after her, mum and dad are busy discussing trips to other solar systems, Lakim’s busy and I need to talk to Khivar and Tyker” Andena demanded from her sister. Kiara just nodded her head.

Andena left leaving Elizabeth as confused as ever.

“Come Elizabeth you must be tired”

“Why does your family always insist on making me sleep” Liz asked curiously.

“It must be genetic” Kiara said absently as Liz fell swiftly to sleep.

Elsewhere…

“My lord the enemy has captured a new prisoner”
“What else is new?” Micheal asked the solider irritably.
“This prisoner is human, sir”
“He is?”
“She is, sir”
“Do we have this prisoner’s name?” Micheal asked.
“Yes sir. She is called Elizabeth Parker” Micheal froze.

A/N - sorry it took me so long to update and all. This hasn't been betad cause she's sick and i didn't want to make you guys wait any long so enjoy and review.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liz’s POV

I was nervous. I knew that, Kiara knew that and I’m pretty sure that the ants on Earth knew that. What’s wrong with me? I was never like this back on Earth. I was staring at Kiara who had finished brushing her hair and had started tidying up. God knows why. The room was spotless. I’m pretty sure that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the room.

“What’s wrong” she asks me.

What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Nothings wrongs. It’s just that I’m on a god damn planet in the middle of god knows where, ripped out of the life I had created on earth, where I was perfectly content on sulking about my regrets in life in a designer apartment that I worked hard for. I’ve been kidnapped by aliens who can kill me at any time and are trying to use me as bait to kill me friends. But instead of saying all that, I just reply with a shrug. She doesn’t push me any further.

I can hear some shouting down the hall. I hear Kiara sigh and say

“Not again. She hasn’t even been here for an hour and they’re causing havoc”

The shouting stops with a slammed door and ten minutes later Andena comes into the room. Thank God. For some reason I feel safe with her. She’s not the nicest person in the world but at least she’ll keep me safe. How do I know that? I have no fucking idea. She’s talking to Kiara, who is silently berating her. She looks at me.

“Come with me”

I follow her of course, not wanting to stay with Kiara, who silently shakes her head disapprovingly.

“Where are we going?” I ask her.

“I’m going to teach you how to fight” she answers simply. She never answers with full answers.

She throws me some clothes, which look a lot like sweat pants and a tank top.

“I asked Khivar to pick them out for us” she explains.

“And he did?” I asked confused. Why would a ‘King’ of Antar, run errands?

“Yup, I threatened to kick him off the throne if he didn’t” she shrugged. He also got her a lot of exercising machines. Punching bag, one of those things you run on and oddly a large rock, for rock climbing.

“You can do that?” I heard myself ask.

“Do what?” she asked punching the bag, making it swing high in the other direction.

“Dethrone him” I watched her kick the punching bag before it hit her.

“Yeah” she replied shortly.

I felt myself grow angry.

“How?” I gritted my teeth.

“My family is the keeper of the throne of the V constellation, I believe you call it. Anyway” she drew in a breath. “The only person who sits on that throne is the one we want. Khivar is currently the one the granolith up on the throne” she hits the punching bag.

“What about Ma….Zan? Why was he dethroned?” I asked in a whisper.

“Because he wasn’t the one that the granolith wanted on the throne”

“So what you just kicked him off?”

“No, we just let Khivar come and take over” Andena told me.

“And then you let him get killed” I asked, not really wanting an answer.

“Yes, I did” she told me bluntly.

“So you’re loyal to Khivar?” I asked her, my voice was surprisingly calm.

“Nope” she answered me. She had stopped hitting the bag, and turned to look at me.

“Then who are you loyal to?” I asked.

“The granolith” she replied. She raised her hand, and in it I found a ball of electricity floating in it. “Do you know what this is?” she asked me, after a moment and a sigh.

“Electricity?” I responded unconsciously.

“No. It’s the same thing running down your arms this very instant” I looked down at my hands. The green stuff had come back again.

“What are you doing to me?” I blamed her. I blamed her for all of this bullshit. I blamed her for bringing me here. I blamed her for trying to kill my friends. Hell, I think I even blamed her for ruining perfect Lizzy Parker, so I reacted. When my vision cleared, she was standing in front of me. I looked at my hands, where were glowing softly.

“I’ve been trying to get you to do that all day” Andena replied.

“What did I do?” I asked.

“You used your powers” God, how I hated her. I hated the way she knew everything, the way she talked, the way she walked, everything.

“What powers?” I asked not understanding any of this shit.

“That is the dumbest question I’ve ever heard” she scoffed. “Now get changed into the clothes, as soon as you get all that anger out of your system the sooner you’re going to fell better”

I got changed in the spot. Not caring that she could see me. Luckily I had a bra and underwear on. I don’t even know why I still did everything she asked of me. I trusted her I guessed. God knows why. Seems like I’ve been saying the word ‘God’, a lot around here.

Suddenly I felt like I was burning. I looked around. My heart had started beating faster. Not literally, of course. But it was if someone was giving me heat. I looked down I had only managed to get the sweat pants on, so I quickly put the tank top on. By then the burning sensation had gone.

Andena looked at me. I had calm down for some reason. It was weird.

Khivar’s POV

This is stupid. There is absolutely, no reason that I should be sitting here. So we tried to kill the human? What’s wrong with that? Andena summoned us exactly 1 hour, 46minutes and 56 seconds ago, and she hasn’t even showed up. Damn bitch.

Finally she has he decency to turn up when you’re about to leave, at least she gets straight to the point.

“Listen carefully, there will not be any other attempted assassinations on Miss Elizabeth Parker, I don’t feel like ‘persuading’ more of those wannabe killer to find another occupation and if I even if I hear a rumor that you’re both trying to kill her, I’ll start a head collection. Am I understood?” Most people would be running away when Andena gets like this, but then again Tyker isn’t most people. He goes head on with a fight. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

You can hear them down the hall, bickering, and in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and there goes the slam of the door. And that’s why Tyker fails, he’s so predictable, and the fact that he’s in love with Andena doesn’t help the situation either.

Andena’s probably with that pathetic human right now. I can feel the power radiate off someone nearby. It’s probably Andena blowing off steam, but just to make sure that we don’t have any snoops roaming around. Stupid rebellion, they started all this. If they didn’t want to be overruled they shouldn’t have hurt my family.

I stop and stare at the human currently blasting away at Andena. She’s glowing, in a pale green light. I stare at her. She’s amazing for a human. I’m not sure that Serena or Kheva have THAT much power. She’s doesn’t even look tired. I close my eyes, letting her anger and power seep into me. It’s coming off in waves. Her eyes are glowing, her hair flying behind her. She’s a goddess. No question about that. But she’s a weak goddess. She’s stopped her attack. She gave in. She’s been told to get changed. And she is a goddess. He stomach, her thighs, her…. Dear Granolith, I’m starting to sound like Lakim.

“Sir?” A soldier asks.

“What?” I snap at him, he flinches. Feeble minded soldier.

“We’re under attack” he announces.

Liz POV

‘Bout 5 minutes ago we, me and Andena, had been told that we were under attack by the rebellion. Exactly 3 seconds after that the room started shaking. And that’s were my memory gets fuzzy. I can remember most of it but some of it’s still hazy. Andena disappeared after ordering me to get changed back into my clothes, after I got into them. I looked up and she was gone and standing there was Lakim. He looked different somehow, he looked tired and angry. I still didn’t trust him. I was ordered to follow him. Something I never would’ve done on Earth. He tells me to look up and I do, I’m frightened at what I see. It’s destruction. A tear slips down my cheek, something I haven’t felt in a long time.

“Good, hold on to that feeling, because this is going to be a rough month” he says to me. Fucking asshole, why does this family never explain anything?

He takes me to another room, it reminds me of all those “Control rooms’ that people always go to when they are being attacked.

It is practically hell in here, but it’s impressive. I sit down on a chair which is oddly next to Khivar’s seat. How I know this? It the biggest one there, men and there ego’s. The others came in after, each at different seats. There were a few unrecognizable people, probably generals or something.

And then Khivar started talking.

“As you currently all know we are under attack, by the rebellion” Khivar stopped after seeing a General mutter something.

“Is there something that you would like to share?” Khivar asked.

“Why is the human here? She caused all this” the general asked. I tensed. I did? Andena had some explaining to do.

I looked at Khivar who was still staring at the General, who was twitching. “She’s here because I allow her to be here, if you have I problem with that come and see me after” The general shook his head. Had the asshole just stuck up for me?

Tyker suddenly came in through the door. “Where’s Andena?” he asks, I look around realizing that she’s not here. I look at Lakim who is currently holding his head in his hands.

“Not again” I hear him mutter. What the hell was Andena doing?

Andena was in what looked like an advanced jet shooting the rebellion down, while Tyker was shouting at her.

“Andena get your arse down here now before I”

“By the Granolith, Tyker, you’re starting to sound like Kiara, anyway, you know I can’t come down, it’s not procedure”

“Screw procedure” Tyker yelled at the screen, Liz saw a few people flinch.

“What do you think I’m doing?” Liz looked at Tyker and saw his fist clench.

“Tyker?” Andena asked

“What?” he snapped.

“They’re after Elizabeth, if anything happens to her…” she left the sentence hanging.

Tyker sighed. “I’ll keep her safe”

“Thank you” I stood there stunned. Had Nicholas just agreed to protect me? I stared at him. He glimpsed at me and then turned around and punched that asshole who accused me of starting this.

No one said anything. The only ones left in the room were Kiara, Lakim and the Generals.

“Follow me” Tyker said shortly. “Let’s get one thing straight, right now. I’m not doing this because I like you and for once I’m not doing this for the Granolith, I’m only doing this because of Andena. You’ll listen to me when I tell you to do something, you will do it. No questions asked. Am I clear?” All I could do was nod and try and keep up with him.

After a few minutes of trying to keep up with him, my curiosity got the better of me.

“What did you mean when you said you weren’t doing this for the Granolith?”

Tyker sighed and started swearing in his own language she guessed. Then Liz found his weak spot.

“I could ask Andena, when she gets back” I smirked.

He looked at me, and frowned.

“The Granolith is the one who decides who goes the throne, therefore it’s the one that gives out the orders. That means that I do whatever the Granolith asks of me” I nodded and looked ahead of me and gasped.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was ultimate destruction. There was smoke everywhere, fire’s blazing high and people running terrified.

“I want to help” Elizabeth said, without knowing why. Tyker looked at her frowned and then nodded.

Tyker took her into another room where Khivar was. He looked at her then looked at Tyker.

“What’s it doing here” he snapped.

“She wanted to help my lord” Tyker bowed. Elizabeth just stood there, not giving into who she considered the enemy.

“You bow in the presence of royalty, human”

“When I see royalty I’ll be sure to do that” Elizabeth retorted. She wasn’t afraid of him, Khivar knew that, and that made him worry.

“What is it doing here?” Khivar repeated the question.

“She wants to help” Khivar frowned.

“Send her to Andena or something”

Tyker tensed.

Elizabeth had made up her mind by now. She wasn’t going to stand around listening to two aliens who wanted to kill her fight. She was surprised by how easy it was to slip away from someone who had taken over a kingdom.

It was calling her. That’s why she had to get away. It was calling her. The Granolith. And she let herself be called.

It drew her to it. Softly glowing. It looked and felt alive. It was alive. It was so bright, the colours, the feelings, the life. It was wonderful. She looked around. It was so peaceful. The children were laughing and playing, the teenagers were giggling and the adults were just sitting around talking. It was a world of happiness and world that didn’t exist. Andena was there.

“Help him” Andena whispered into her ear. “Save him”

“Save who?” Elizabeth yelled out.

“Save him. He needs you”

“From what?” Liz screamed out.

“Love him?” That suggestion just freaked Elizabeth out. Who the hell was she suppose to love?

She was brought back to reality with shocks running down her arms. She looked at the owner of the hands that were shaking her.

“Would you wake up?” It was Khivar shaking her and Tyker yelling at her.

“What the hell do you think you were doing? You could’ve been killed” Tyker shouted at her, but Elizabeth was to busy to notice him. She looked up through the crystal ceiling. The jets were all gone and all that was left was the fires and smoke. A tear dropped down her cheek.

“Why do you do this to them?” she turned to Khivar. He just stared at her not answering.

“I have no reason to answer you, you’re just a human” Khivar told her his voice chilling her.

Andena’s whisper came to her “Help him understand”

Elizabeth unconsciously shivered, but by then Khivar had already gone.

The next few hours were hazy. She remembered running around trying to save lives. She wasn’t allowed outside. She remembered asking if she could help outside but was stopped by Tyker.

“Don’t even think about it” he told her. When he promises Andena something, he kept to his word. She was under his sight all day. Where ever she went he knew and usually stopped her. She hadn’t seen Khivar, Serena or her family all day, not that she realized that until she went to bed. She was exhausted; she had been running around all day and still would be unless Tyker had ordered her to bed.

Elizabeth had just finished her bath, and had washed off all the blood and black smudges that she was covered in. She was asleep before her head reached the pillow.

Elizabeth woke up early, tired as hell. Something was wrong, she knew that immediately. She got up, got dressed and then waited for someone to get her. Unfortunately she couldn’t be bothered waiting for to long. She left her room 10 minutes later and went straight to the control room, where she found Tyker, Khivar, Serena, Kheva and the twins sitting there. She was missing. Andena had been catured.

Rebellion Headquarters – Michael’s POV

She wasn’t talking. That’s what was bothering Micheal. She just sat there. Sometimes she just stared at him and smiled.

What kind of prisoner smiles at you while you’re trying to interrogate her?

We launched an attack on Khivar, it was suppose to be a distraction while a team went and retrieved Liz. They all came back saying that they couldn’t get through but they had brought a prisoner.

She came willingly, that much was obvious. There were no signs of struggle and some of the soldiers seemed afraid of her.

“Tell you what” she suggests “You bring your friends in and I give you information on how Elizabeth is doing” I think about it and agree.

10 minutes later Maria comes rushing in. She slaps the prisoner.

“What the hell have you done to my best friend” Sometimes I wish I had left her on Earth.

Isabel, Max and Kyle came in and glared at the prisoner.

“Elizabeth is fine. She should be tidying up the little mess you made right now” the prisoner told us. That confused the shit out of me. Why would Liz help the enemy?

“What is your name?” I ask her.

“Andena” she replies simply.

“What is your position with Khivar” Max asks straight out.

“Well I ain’t intimate with him if you wanted to know” she smirks. She’s really pissing Max off.

“Cut the shit and tell me what you know about Khivar and Lizzy before I blast you so far…” he only got so far.

“You’ll what. You’ll blast me all the way into the next galaxy. I can assure you, You Majesty,” she emphasized. “I’ve already been blasted there and back a thousand times over, so it isn’t going to make a difference if I go there once again. The only thing you’re ever going to get out of me is what I want you to know. Now stop pushing me, to get information before I get angry” she exploded. The ropes had snapped in the process of her yelling and now she had Max backed up against the wall.

“Anyway 1: you don’t have any powers that even come close to blasting and second if you even think about harming me my family would go out of there neutral position and blast the Royal 4 to pieces smaller than a grain of sand” she told us with a smirk

She walked over to the chair she was tied to before and sat down.

“Why is your family neutral” I asked curiously.

“Because” came a voice from the opening to the tent “her family are the keepers of the granolith. The granolith is the keeper of the throne, and currently the granolith doesn’t want either us or Khivar on the throne” Ava stepped in.

“What the granolith wants the granolith gets” Andena told Ava

“It’s nice to finally meet you” Ava told the priso…Andena.

“I must say, it’s finally nice to meet you Ava. I can finally see the difference between you and Tess” Andena stated looking at Ava. She felt everyone in the room tense and that’s when the world went black, for Andena.

A/N Sorry it took me so long to update this. Just so many things have been going on and I haven’t had enough spare time. Anyways here’s the new chapter and I hope it won’t take me this long again to update.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Michael watched as Andena’s eyes suddenly went blank and her body slumped heavily to the hard ground.

“What the hell was that?” he shouted causing two guards to come in. One look at Andena had them pale and trembling.

“Wha…wha…what have you done?” one of the guards finally stuttered. The other was on his knees praying to the granolith, rocking back and forth.

“Oh granolith, forgive us” he chanted over and over again.

“Is she alive?” the first guard hesitated.

“Yes, she’s just unconscious” Ava told the guards. They let out a sigh of relief.

“What’s so important about her anyway?” Maria asked miffed.

“She is the daughter of the high lord and lady. Her family is protected by the granolith, her family is deemed more important were deemed more important than ours at times” Ava explained, as if reaching back into her memories.

Maria scoffed.

“We have to get her off the floor” one of the guards said, fidgeting. Michael scooped her up into his arms, and laid her on the couch nearby.

“Now what do we do…about Liz, I mean” Maria questioned.

“We can’t do anything, at least not until she wakes up. She obviously came here for a reason and until we find out that reason we’re stuck here. We can’t go barging into the kingdom when their defences are on alert” Ava explained. Michael looked between Ava and Max. Out of the two of them, Ava had shown the most TRUE leadership. Sure Max called all the shots, but Ava was the one who everyone listened to. The one who knew exactly what to do.

Maria looked at Max, looking for some way to get her best friend back quicker.

“She’s right, we can’t attack now, its too risky” Even Max wasn’t that dumb. Maria stormed out, and everyone else left to do their duties, leaving Michael to his thoughts.

Over the years Michael had seen less and less of Max and more of someone else. He had become livid at the littlest things involving Khivar, retaliating mercilessly to the outsiders of the kingdom. It seemed as this war was just a private feud between Khivar and Max, or whoever he was. Everyone else was dragged into it.

Michael felt a memory trying to surface. The same one that was always at the back of his mind, whenever he thought about Max and Khivar. Michael shrugged as it faded away and returned his attention to the planning of a second attack.

________________~*~*~*~*~*~*~________________

Andena woke up and cringed at the pain, resounding throughout her cramped neck. She massage her neck with her hands but found that they were strapped. She looked down, her vision hazy, and saw she was tied to a chair.

That explains the cramps.

She looked around trying to find out what or who had knocked her out. All she saw was a blurry blue colour. She blinked trying to regain some focus. She shook her head and found that there was a figure in front of her.

“Now isn‘t the time for sleeping, my lady” a man stood before her, staring at her.

“You” she spat out, her voice was laced with disgust, her eyes flashing with hate.

“Now, is that any way to talk to family Dena” he chuckled.

“You have no family” she spat in his face.

“Still haven’t lost your spirit, I see” he wiped his face.

“Where am I?”

“You are in a dream”

“Still resorting to baby tricks”

“The old ones are the best”

“What do you want?” she looked away from him. The pain was too real.

He smirked. “I hear you’ve brought the prophecy child to Antar”

She snapped her head around to look at him.

“I see I’ve got your attention. Is she all that she’s meant to be”

“She’s a little rough around the edges but with a little help she’ll be perfect for her task” she replied. She was never able to lie to him, so she never did. No point to start lying to him now was there.

“That’s good news” he told himself

“If you touch one cell on her, I’ll kill you” she told him calmly as if this was a normal conversation.

He leered “I actually believed that” He began to walk out when he was stopped by a whisper.

“Why?” the simple question was filled with pain and confusion.

“Don’t ask a question when you’re not ready for the truth. They didn’t understand and neither will you” a tear rolled down her cheek.

“I’m sorry”

“Sometimes I am too” he walked away, once again leaving Andena, leaving her to remember the pain he had caused her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Liz POV

Liz sat in the only empty chair, next to Khivar.

“Now that everyone’s here, we can address the matter at hand” Khivar started after glaring at Liz.

“Andena’s been captured and according to reports, she practically walked into the camp and demanded that they take her prisoner” Lakim said in a resigned voice, running his hand through his hair and sighed.

I glance around the table and realize that I was the only one who slept last night. Everyone else was exhausted. You could see it engraved in their faces, implanted in their eyes and hear the strain in their voices. She looked at Khivar, who as always had a frown on his face. His face looked aged, his shoulders slightly slumped, his hair a mess and dirt all over his clothes.

I focused on the conversation.

“Why would Andena want to be captured by the rebellion” Tyker asked, frustrated, he slammed his hand on the table.

“She could be on a mission” Kiara suggested.

“Why don’t you ask the granolith?” I blurt out before I could stop myself.

Serena sighed. “It’s decided to be temporarily deaf. It’s not answering to our calls, questions or anything for that matter”

Lakim snorted. “That’s a change”

“So what do we do?” Kiara asked.

“For now we do what we can, heal the injured and restore the order the best we can. Andena knows what she’s doing or else she would have warned us, so until she contacts us we do nothing to interfere”

“Like last time?” Tyker whispered bitterly.

I watched everyone freeze and stare at Tyker. I watched him storm out and wondered what was going on.

What happened last time?

The thought left my mind as everyone got up to leave. I got up and just walked around the corridors.

What were these people doing to me? I was starting to care about them. I ended up and the granolith again. I look into the granolith and inside, instead of the usual colours, I see a little boy in a corner.

I take a step closer to the granolith, trying to see the boy closer and then I realize, I’m not even near the granolith. I look around and realize that I’m in a house.

The little boy runs right through me, laughing for some unobvious reason. I followed him and found him outside. Their was laughing.

The boy was being chased by another girl, and a woman presumably their mother was in the arms of a young man, laughing. I froze, as I stared at the man.

It was Khivar.

As I stared at him the world started spinning and I heard screaming. A woman screams and cries.

A woman dropped to the ground, lifeless and limp. I looked around and realized that their was a crowd of soldiers. They were in a circle surrounding Khivar and his family. Khivar was holding his wife’s body in his arms, crying, his face buried in her hair.

“This is what happens when you betray me, Khivar” a voice spoke up, and the soldiers made way for a figure.

“Max?” It looked exactly like Max. The same jaw, the same build even the same face, but something was different. His eyes. They were cold, uncaring, dead. He looked up from Khivar and looked straight through me. He was not Max. His hand reached out to Khivar’s daughter.

“How does it feel to watch your family die before your eyes?” Max asked as the little girl crumpled to the ground. He turned his attention to the boy.

“Max stop it, Max, leave them alone” I cried out but he couldn’t hear me. I tried to move but was unable to, as if something held her in place just to watch. Tears ran freely down my cheeks.

“Leave him alone Zan. Take me instead” Behind me Khivar was being restrained by soldiers, screaming at Zan.

Zan looked through me to Khivar.

“Say goodbye to your son Khivar” Zan’s outstretched hand went to the boys head. The boy let out a piercing before crumpling to the ground like a rag doll. Khivar yelled out, trying to break free of the soldiers, beating him to the ground.

“This is what happens when you piss off the King, slave” Zan spat on Khivars, bruised face, before walking away leaving the soldiers to beat him.

______________~*~*~*~*~*~______________

She opened her eyes, tears running freely down her cheeks, sobs trying to escape her mouth. She raised her head and saw Khivar standing before her, looking as powerful as ever, yet he seemed like a shell of what he use to be. He looked at her tears.

Liz stared at him, he glared back. He looked so different. His bruises had gone but their were faint scars on his cheeks. Happiness wasn’t something he hadn’t felt in ages, bags were evident under his eyes. His cold blue eyes, once filled with laughter now filled with…nothing.

Liz continued staring at him.

“What have I told you about touching the granolith, human?” he snapped at her. Another tear dropped from her eye.

For the first time in her life, she truly hated Max.
