I Just want to know who is everyone's favorite UC Couple:

Mine are:

Zan/Liz

Zan/Liz/Max

a little Michael/Liz

Kyle/Liz

"Ground Zero" is usually a term used for the spot on which a bomb has fallen and where there is the most devastation. I thought Max and Maria were called that because at the end of S1, they both had bombs dropped on them that left them totally destroyed.

Then again, maybe I don't have a clue

Being someone who knows the person who came up with this shipper term (I have been around TOO long. lol

) I will just clarify. Ground Zero came from the estimation that Max and Maria together would be an explosive combination, although I like Midwest Max's better. lol It became simply GZer after Sept. 11, when the term "Ground Zero" took on an entirely too sad connotation.

As for my UC ships...I am sadly conventional, but I do admit a slight tendency towards Cliffiedom (Michael and Isabel just intrigue me), and I also really like the idea of Tess with Alex for some reason. I just think he could reform her, and wouldn't put up with her crap. I've even considered writing a story about it.

Hmmm...interesting debate here. But from the stories I've read so far, I really like the ideas of Liz/Michael and Max/Maria together.

I've never like the idea of Isabel/Kyle and Alex/Tess together though. I thought Isabel "ice princess" attitude and Kyle's "jock" mentality were too boring and predictable. I won't even get started on how wrong Alex and Tess are together! Ewwwww! GRoss!

Michael/Maria
Kyle/Maria (Remedialists)
Kyle/Ava
Max/Tess (depends on whether it's AU, or some switched thing)
Zan/Maria

I definitely like to try that - reading fics on the Cliffies (Mi/I) and the fifth wheelers (A/T). There's hardly any fic on those UC couples, and somewhat 'refreshing'.
And coming from you, kath, it's definitely going to be a good one.
