hat's true, but the defence is still the big weakness of the German team. I mean, Costa Rica scored 2 of its 3 goals against Germany, mostly because the defence was positioned really badly. They lack the routine they need and I think that could become a big problem against Sweden, since they play r...

so, did anybody else see England/Sweden today? I have to say, that was by far the best game I saw in this WC up to now. Both teams played really well, and very fair. I was kind of afraid of them playing a no-attack game since both teams were practically already qualified, but they showed us some gr...

:D Yay we won 3:0 today But Equador didn't really put up a fight, I expected a bit more from them. :? It will be interesting how we will be when we meet the first real good team I saw it and I have to say Brazil played a lot better this time. If they keep improving like this from game to game, they'...

So far I have to say that I was rather disappointed by most of the games. I expected *a lot* more from most of the teams, especially the big teams, and I can't think of a single team that really, really fought to win. :D How about Australia So, who does everybody think is going to win the WC this t...

Group B will certainly be one of the most interesting groups (at least for me) and I think that England and Sweden will pass this round and one of them will beat Germany then (sorry cooks) :D we will see England is propably going to top the group as hopefully do we, so we propably won't meet them i...

Soccer World Cup Thread
I am a bit suprised that there isn't already a thread here. After all it is the worlds biggest sport event. Approxamately 33 billion viewers will see the 64 WC games So far I am quite happy with the course of action The games I saw were pretty good and we already had some suprises. Like the draw bet...

My question is, why do most North Americans still buy SUVs? I own a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback so it's very cheap on gas. I couldn't ever imagine owning a big ass car that sucks up as much gas as SUVs. :D Perhaps they love to scrub off the remains of the schoolkids they have run over every week. It...
