Re: Emilie de Ravin (Tess Harding) News
I'm really looking forward to the first episode of LOST.
I just love her in that and her charactor is so different from Tess.
Her American accent was so harsh that it kinda fit her role in ROSWELL.
Her voice is so much softer when she is allowed to use her own accent.

I haven't read it yet but the new issue of TV Guide has a "LOST" spoilers and stuff. And yes, Emilie's accent is beautiful. I'm always fascinated by actors and actresses who either have accents in RL and act like they do not or vice versa, ya know? ESPECIALLY when it's so believeable otherwise that you're just floored when you find out, know what I mean? I suck at acting and can't really do accents that well but occassionally I attempt something--a phrase or two--just makes me respect those that do it so well all the more, haha!

everybody has an accent, but I get what you mean. Apart from one early scene in Roswell, where Nacedo confronts Tess, Isabel and Michael in the morgue and Tess shouts 'It's you.' in a very think Aussie accent, I thought her accent was great in Roswell.I'm always fascinated by actors and actresses who either have accents in RL and act like they do not or vice versa, ya know?

Yeah, you're right--everyone does have an accent, I guess. It's been said that people from Ohio have the least-noticeable, recognizeable, whatever you want to call it, accent of any other region in the country. :shrugs: And you know I'm gonna have to go back and watch that scene to hear what you're talking about! Yes, I was very impressed with Emilie. She did a great job!

I thought Emilie looked very beautiful on Lost last night.
I wish the writers would make her part bigger.

Re: Emilie de Ravin (Tess Harding) News
After that episode that showed Kate being mommy to little Aaron and with this "hint" that someone will die in next week's episode, I'm concerned that our dear Claire may not make it! I agree with you, though. Emilie did look very pretty (she's a beautiful woman) and I just love her accent, don't you?
