Ivy is the only one that comes to mind. I either already liked a lot (Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Dandy Warhols, Mazzy Star, Garbage, Beth Orton, Radiohead...etc) or already hated/still hate the others (Lifehouse being the main dud, ughhhh). The music was pretty good overall though.

I bought Ash and Tarsha Vega because of Roswell. Several of the others I would have bought because of Roswell, but I'd already bought them because of Buffy. Seriously, the music industry would hardly have a prayer of seducing me with its wares, if not for fandom.

For me Roswell is the first and only show whose soundtrack became a starring "actor". And the music coordinators of Roswell are definitely stars of the show. I was introduced to many artists' work I like and probably never would have heard or noticed otherwise. Right now I'll just list the two cd's I bought: Coldplay's Parachutes and Ivy's Long Distance. I also like Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory.
