Summary: Max Evans is a member of RISK (Roswell Investigators of Serial Killings). An elite group of Police investigators who specialize in doing just as the name implies: stopping serial killers. When a string of cop murders start to show up in Roswell, taking the life of his partner Tommy, Max makes it his duty to find out who the culprit is. However, he isn’t counting on having the aid of a new partner. Elizabeth Parker has idolized Max Evans since she was a rookie at the Roswell Police Academy. It’s a dream come true when she is assigned to be his new partner. But Max doesn’t want anything to do with her. She’s too green and too damned cute for his taste. But all that will change once Max discovers who the killer’s next target is.

Beware of Maligns:
Maligns are extremely dangerous and harmful creatures. Though they have the ability to appear human in form, do not be fooled by this mask of humanity they wear. These highly dangerous creatures are far from humane. They are clever, cunning, and deadly. They will kill without remorse or regret. These creatures are masters of deception that possess abilities meant to aid them in that deception. Because they lack any and all true visceral emotions, Maligns are to be treated as less than living, and therefore are to be terminated on sight. If you suspect someone you know is indeed among one of these creatures, contact your local authorities immediately and stay far away.
Be wary. Be cautious. Be careful.
They are among us.
The Year is 2230.
It has been twenty years since former MD Lieutenant Dover Blackwell discovered a small malign boy inside of Lacebark Cave.
Twenty years since he freed that boy.
Twenty years since he brought that boy home to live with him.
Twenty years since he gave up his job to protect that boy’s secret.
..Ten years since he disappeared.

Rating/Category: TEEN/ML/AU with aliens. To clarify, there are no actual aliens, but there are angels and a bit of good old fashion Christmas Magic, so I’m just being on the safe side.
Summary: What could have been? Liz Parker doesn’t have time in her life for “shoulda, coulda wouldas”. That’s why it’s a good thing she’s got three overly enthusiastic guardian angels looking to score their wings on her side. Thankfully, it’s their job to show her that what shoulda been, coulda been really wonderful. If only she just woulda.
I know. lol. Okay, for real) A condescending contemporary columnist and stanch realist, Max has a bit of trouble when it comes to seeing the true magic of Christmas. But this year he'll get a little help from a most intriguing source: A little lady named Liz Parker. After this whirlwind Christmas, Max will probably never be the same. And hey, maybe that isn’t such a bad thing.
