Update: Sept 28th, '08!

Hello everyone!

How's it going? I just figured I'd drop in to let you all know what the status is. Thus far, Cinematic Royalty, has done rather well in the e-publishing world. I'm proud to say it's received three wonderful reviews. I also received my first email from a reader which honestly made me tear up. These are the amazing things we live for as authors. The things that make the long hours worthwhile.

I saved it of course. I look back on it when I'm feeling really glum about the whole writing thing. On nights when I want to just throw my characters into a bus and drive it off a cliff. ;) Y'all know exactly what I'm talking about. *lol*

Just last night I finished the companion piece to Cinematic Royalty, that will be available ONLY in the print edition! That is thus far scheduled to be released on February 25th, so keep checking in! It'll be available on my publisher's website, as well as Amazon.com, from what I understand. Yay! Two stories, one book! I'm really psyched about that.

If you want to know a little bit about the new story... I've taken Film Noir and dropped it on its head, 'Clue' style. It's ridiculously over the top, to the point where you may actually have to suspend belief, but I think it pulls a smile at just the right places. It really helps that there's a slew of random (yet somehow memorable) side characters, and two leads with amazing chemistry. ;) Think of it as Moonlighting (oh Bruce Willis with hair), a la 1950s.

So that's the new with me. I'm going to give myself a day or two (or a week, ha ha) to recuperate from the madness of meeting a deadline, and then I'm going to hop on to my next project until I get my first string of edits in. I miss you all!

xoxo

Well, as you can all see, it got pushed to September, but now I'm PROUD to say, it's out!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I'm very excited and proud to have this book in print. It's my little baby and I couldn't be happier with the work that went into it on behalf of my publisher and editor. Plus, it looks so amazing to hold in my hands. ;)

So check out the new posts I've put up regarding how to get it and a little excerpt for those interested in checking it out first!

XOXO
