I think Max’s son in this was really powerful and when he was a child he touched the aliens and made them human.

There may have been time travel and the end after max’s death.

Any help with this would be appreciated cause it’s driving me crazy I know this was a great fic and was completed.

It is a Max/Liz non alien fic. Max is an architect and divorced with a son. He is nine or ten years older than Liz. Liz is best friend is Tess. She is also friends with Isabel. Liz has always had a crush on Max. She agrees to babysit for Max. Once she turns 18, she wants to Max to be her first. I tried to search on architect, Toby (the son's name I think), Stephanie (ex-wife's name). I can't remember the author's name.
