If I had to choose exactly one fic, I'd choose Forever Fades Away.
This great Max/Liz story embodies everything Roswell.

My turn. A well known fic through the Ros community and a great read. It's funny and random but that's why i love it.

Spin by Incognito.

She wrote a sequel of sorts to it as well called Core which is Spin but in Max's POV, so there are extra parts thrown in there, but that one seems to have dissapeared off the web and it never got finished anyway.

Obviously it would be really hard to choose just one fanfic that I liked the best. But I decided to choose the one fanfic that stood out the most. It's very imaginative, and I absolutely loved it. I think everyone should read it.

It's called Of Cabbages and Kings by WR and it's amazing.

Summary(as given by the author): Everything happens up to Max's proposal in 'Graduation'. Things progress a little differently from there when Liz finds her friends' reaction not what she'd have hoped for.

I would expand on that summary, but I don't want to give anything away.

This is probably my all time favorite Roswell fic. I'm surprised nobody else has posted it yet.

Author's Summary: Post Graduation. We follow the gang on their journey.

The summary doesn't quite do the story justice but trust me - it's definately worth reading (a few times).
