Loves Awakening Revealed II AU,CC,ADULT NEW 28p.15 26 Feb

Post by NorafanofMaxandLiz »

Hi All! :D

I hope this week is going well for everyone. I just wanted to mention that I'll be leaving to go on vacation soon. I leave March 21 so that means I should have 2 or 3 more updates before I leave. I just wanted you guys to know. I don't usually miss my posting deadline of Saturday's but I have a great excuse I'll be out of the country and I'll be away from my beloved computer, Max. Yes, I did name my desktop that. LOL!!! What? he gets endless hours of my love and devotion so... Not mention lots of pics on Max/Jason too. LOL!!! Okay, enough of the author's embarrassing confessions. On to the Feed back and then this week's new post. Take care all

roswellian504- Hi! Yep! Michael finds he does needs those blindfold and earplugs.

Your question about how did things go down hill from Victoria's secret for Michael to wind up spending the night with Max and Liz. Well, he did the unthinkable. He reminded Maria of the time that she was completely in the wrong. It happened in the predecessor to this fic. Michael and Maria were hosed down by Isabel because they wouldn't stop arguing. So Izzy, did it to stop them. Maria was in the wrong she was supposed to call Michael after having her big talk with her mom. She didn't and she blocked his connection to her. He was a wreck worrying about her. She never called and shut him out. Both things she promised before leaving that she'd call and keep their connection open. That's what prompted the whole thing Michael reminding her of the one time she was completely in the wrong. Maria didnn't appreciate that. That's why the artic chill between Michael and Maria temporarily.

You'd think they'd all be making a bee line from Victoria's Secret to someplace quiet to get away with their significant other and well... you know. But as usual Michael and Maria's spat has a way of putting a damper on everyone's mood. Don't worry, it will all work itself out. You'll see! Thanks for your continued feed back and reading of my story. It really does mean so much to me. Also thanks for the question. I hope that clears that up for you... Take care.

roswellluver- Hi! LOL!!! I think Michael may want to buy stock in one of those companies that makes ear plugs, LOL!! That'll teach him to fight with Maria and find himself staying the night with Max and Liz. LOL!! Ah, don't worry, he won't suffer too much. A little traumatized maybe, but none the worse for wear. Thanks for reading and your feed back. I hope you like this week's part.

Hi ladylou :D G'day! How are you doing? I haven't heard from you in a while. Thanks for all your advice on the packing. I really need to start packing so I can have time to edit some of my choices and be sure I can still get my carryon on the plane and same with my checked bag. Guys have it so much easier on the packing thing. It's not fair! Oh well, I'll have to keep telling myself only take what I'll actually wear and use. I have to think just essentials. Boy! This is going to be a challenge, but I can do it. I'll definitely keep your advice in mind while I pack, thanks. It'll be nice to put a face with the name when I'm there. Take care

Cherie- Yeah our Michael is in the dog house, but not for too long though. Yeah Max and Liz definitely enjoy having him cook for them. I'm happy to hear that you liked the part about the Alex and his wanting the mouse for the computer lab. Oh and Max buying the earplugs and blindfold for Michael. Michael does find he really needs those essentials when staying with Max and Liz. LOL!! Glad you enjoyed those parts.

I bet your excited about your trip it will be really soon. I hope you have a wonderful time. I saw the clip from the beginning of SL and it really is incredible it sucks you right in. I loved Jason in that brief clip. He's always amazing. You'll have to share your stories with me and pics when you get back. I love to hear all about it. Yes, my trip is coming up soon actually I leave March 21. I'll be gone two weeks. I'm going by myself. It'll be my adventure. Oh on packing~ Where's the damn shrink ray when you need one? Right? LOL!!! I plan on getting at least two or three more posts in before I leave. But none for the two weeks I'm gone. I'll probably be too busy to write except on the long plane ride there or the one on the way back.

Have a great trip and good luck with your packing too! I need to start now just to make sure I don't over do it. LOL!!! See Ya next week!

AJK001- Hi! Aww your welcome. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed last weeks part. This week's got some funny stuff in it there too. I hope you find it funny too. Take care and thanks so much for reading and taking the time to leave me feed back. It really means so much to me. :D

LoveIsForever- I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick. I hope you're feeling much better now. If not I'll send you some happy and healthy well wishes your way, okay. :D Last week the guys were definitely up to no good, but it was fun wasn't it. LOL!! Liz touching the mouse thing. Ah well, Liz is a very compassionate person and used to working with such animals in the science lab, so touching one wasn't a big deal for her. Yes, I thought the name of Tess Jr, was fitting for the mouse. It's just my little way of venting some of my pentup Tess rage for season 2. Max and Liz were funny teasing others about the whole kissing and getting affectionate in front of the gang thing. Also I don't think Liz and Max would let a chance pass up to take advantage of Michael's wonderful cooking. Hey, who wouldn't? right?

Thanks for reading & leaving your feed back I always enjoy reading everyone's feed back it cheers me up and makes me think I should keep doing this writing thing. I do hope you're feeling bettter. Be well and take care,

Loves Awakening Revealed II

By NorafanofMaxandLiz

Part 28

Michael makes himself comfortable in Max and Liz’s kitchen cooking dinner for the three of them. Michael enjoys cooking and loves using Max and Liz’s nice cookware and cutlery they received as wedding gifts. Liz and Max smile at the sound of the clinging and clattering of things coming from the kitchen.

“I think Michael is in his element. Max, is that humming I hear coming from our kitchen? Yes it is… He’s humming a Metallica song if I know our Michael,” Liz smiles.

“Honey, you know we should feel at least a little guilty exploiting Michael’s fight with Maria for our gain. The funny thing is I don’t feel guilty about it. After all, we did rescue Michael from Maria and more of their fighting,” says Max.

Liz comments, “Knowing Maria and her temper they’d still be arguing or slamming things. Those two are cut from the same cloth. I swear half of the time Michael likes to get Maria pissed off at him just to see the fire in her eyes. Maria likewise loves to see that same effect happen in Michael. Okay, so it’s not my idea of foreplay, but it works for them. Not to worry, I predict this time tomorrow they’ll be making up and having their own romantic evening….if not before.”

“Well Babe, since you put it that way. We are doing our best friends/family duty here in letting Michael come over and stay. This gives Maria time to cool off and realize she was wrong at least this time to get upset with Michael. Being the big hearted people we are, caring for our family, we get to enjoy the perk of Michael’s gourmet cooking as a benefit just for letting him crash on our couch for the night. It sounds like a win win situation to me. I think Maria was almost ready to apologize and make up with him when she found out Michael would be sleeping on our couch and cooking for us. I hate to confess this but, I’ve been really excited about turning Michael loose in our kitchen,” smiles Max.

“I know what you mean Max. I do have to admit my stomach is doing happy dances at the thought of whatever culinary delight Michael will grace us with tonight and tomorrow morning. Nope, not feeling even the slightest bit of a twinge of guilt on this one,” replies Liz.

“Babe you don’t think that Maria is upset enough that we could get maybe another day out of this arrangement with Michael do you?” Max asks mischievously.

“We can only hope. Now that would be wrong of us wouldn’t it?” laughs Liz.

“Liz, at least you can say that and no one will get mad at you. You can just say its pregnancy hormones and everyone will just let it go at that,” says Max.

“Hey! I never said that pregnancy didn’t a have a few perks as a trade off for my eventual Goodyear blimp like status; which thankfully hasn’t manifested just yet,” Liz teases.

“Oh don’t say that Honey. I think you’re beautiful no matter what. You’re not really going to blimp up like that, are you Liz?” teases Max earning him getting hit in the head with a pillow.

“Max, yes of course I will get big. I’m pregnant, getting big is the inevitable part of being pregnant. I’ll just tell everybody to look at what you did to me. So be ready,” teases Liz.

“You’re waistline changing because you’re carrying our twins won’t change a thing about how I feel about you. It’s just all so amazing. The length of the hybrid pregnancy is so much longer than for humans. As for what I did to you… I seem to recall you weren’t complaining about it at the time,” grins Max.

“That’s sweet Honey. Just remember no fat jokes when I start looking pregnant and unable to wear regular clothes anymore,” Liz sighs feeling slightly overwhelmed just thinking about it.

“I’d never do that. I’d be bragging about how beautiful my pregnant wife is. Is that okay if I say that?” Max asks.

Liz blushes, “I’d be hurt if you didn’t, after what you just said. I have a feeling I’ll need to hear that especially when I get big and looking very pregnant. Before that happens I want to continue to do all of my favorite things while I still can and as often as possible.”

“Liz, are you saying that we can’t still make love when you are further along in the pregnancy?” Max asks with concern.

“No silly. According to what I’ve found out, there’s no reason we can’t make love all through this pregnancy, except of course when my water breaks and the contractions start… Other than that, all systems are a go. It’s okay Max, nothing can keep us apart. Lord knows Michael and Maria have tried with there impeccably bad timing along with the rest of the family,” laughs Liz.

Liz and Max walk holding hands into the kitchen to find Michael cooking up a storm and rocking out to Metallica on the radio. “Hey Michael, we were just curious how much longer until dinner. Not that we’re trying to rush you, we aren’t,” smiles Liz.

“Hey Bro, I didn’t realize you did air guitar,” teases Max catching Michael doing his best lead air guitar.

“Oh, that. Don’t tell anybody about that please,” begs Michael.

“Our silence can be arranged. That all depends on what’s for desert?” asks Liz.

“Whatever my favorite sister-in-law wants of course,” says Michael hopefully.

“Good answer Michael, see why I adore my favorite brother-in-law,” smiles Liz giving Michael a hug and whispers to Michael what she’d like to eat for desert. Michael nods his agreement.

“Sure Liz, anything you want. I’m just relieved it’s not something with pickles or deep fried bananas or something equally disgusting like that,” sighs a relieved Michael.

“Liz, aren’t you going to tell me what it is that you want for dessert?” asks Max.

“No, you’ll find out later, Max. Michael, here’s some money. That should cover everything that might be needed. Oh and Michael can borrow the jeep, right Max,” winks Liz.

“Ah yeah sure, here’s the keys and try to bring Bob back in one piece please,” smirks Max.

“Sure thing bro, now behave yourselves while I’m gone at the store,” teases Michael.

“Us, behave in our own home, not a chance,” says Max wrapping his arms around Liz. “Weren’t you leaving Michael?” says Max urging him out the door. Michael just looks at them and smirks and makes his way to the jeep shutting the front door tightly behind him.

“Boy, I’m glad I’ll miss anything too embarrassing,” speculates Michael.

Michael returns a short while later to Max and Liz’s cabin. He is surprised to find them curled up on their couch watching the news together. Michael can’t resist making a comment.

“Hi guys I’m back. Please tell me you didn’t defile my bed for the night while I was gone. Wait! Don’t tell me. It’s probably better if I don’t know,” smirks Michael hurrying to the kitchen with his bag of things for Liz’s requested desert.

“Well that depends on what you mean by defile the couch? And does it only count from today forward or do you really want the history run down on the couch’s defiling status?” teases Liz causing Michael to blush.

“Liz! Gees, No just forget I said anything. You are so bad. Max do something about her would you,” says Michael.

“I did while you were gone. Obviously she needs more of what I gave her while you were gone,” says Max causing Michael to blush.

“You didn’t, did you? You’re both just enjoying making me squirm, huh?” asks Michael.

Max and Liz both start laughing. “To be fair Michael, the answer is both yes and no. We’re not going to tell you which part is the yes and which part is the no. No details no matter how much you beg,” teases Max.

Michael says, “Okay, you had me pretty good there for a minute,” laughs Michael going back into the kitchen to make desert while dinner continues to cook.

“Should we torture him some more and tell him we weren’t kidding?” Liz whispers to Max snuggling into his embrace sitting on the couch beside him.

“Babe, give my brother a break. He is sort of in the dog house with Maria. No need to rub it in, okay,” says Max giving Liz a brief gentle kiss on the lips.

“Yeah, you’re right. We should take it easy on him and not say too much. I think after we eat dinner I’ll call Maria. I’ll let you occupy Michael helping him clean up in the kitchen,” suggests Liz.

“I know that look. Your thinking up a plan aren’t you, Liz?” asks Max.

“I’ll do a little recon and see what I can do with regards to Maria,” smiles Liz.

“You do that Babe,” smiles Max mumbling that they might still get the house and their privacy back tonight.

“God you’re cute when you mumble,” says Liz sneaking up from behind him. “Not bad coming or going, and easy on the eyes too. Yummy,” says Liz scanning his form. “Oh well, hold that thought for later,” says Liz brushing past him to go and get something to drink.

Max says to himself, ‘What is it Michael says works for him… Oh yeah, mud. Think about mud. Hey, that works.’

Liz walks back into the living room and sits beside him on the couch. ‘Yeah that worked for about 60 seconds or until Liz walked back into the room.’

“Honey, I think I’ll go upstairs and take a shower before dinner,” says Max.

“Oh, sure you don’t need any help…scrubbing your back I mean,” grins Liz seductively.

“I’m in the kitchen guys and I can hear every word you two have said or whispered,” says Michael enjoying embarrassing them a little bit.

“Liz, behave. Michael’s just in the other room,” whispers Max.

“Damn, I’ll take that as a no then,” pouts Liz.

“It’s not a no, just a rain check for later okay,” smiles Max.

“Okay, but I’m definitely calling in that rain check later,” says Liz.

“Good! I was hoping you’d say that, later remember,” says Max kissing her a little more passionately than he intended to. “I need to take that shower now, Liz. I’ll be back down in a few minutes,” Max says. He looks over his shoulder then back at the stairs climbing them two at a time hurrying to the shower.

Liz watches Max hurry up the stairs and giggles quietly to herself.

“Liz, can you come in here and taste this. I didn’t want to make it too spicy for you,” says Michael.

“Sure Michael, I’ll be right there,” Liz replies.

“Here, taste this Liz. Is it too spicy of a glaze?” asks Michael.

“Mmm. Michael that’s incredible. I love it. That’s really wonderful. Good, I see you remembered the whip cream, too. Nice touch Michael. You might want to consider a career in the culinary arts,” suggests Liz.

“Why is it that everybody keeps saying stuff to me about my cooking and doing it professionally? I just don’t understand that,” says Michael.

“Are you kidding? If Phillip and my dad new you were here cooking for us they’d be over here so fast it would make your head spin. And it wouldn’t be to see me and Max either. It would be to savor your wonderful cooking. Think about what I said Michael, you’re really good at this,” says Liz giving him a sisterly kiss on the cheek as she leaves the kitchen.

Liz, Max, and Michael enjoy the wonderful Roasted spicy herbed chicken with roasted vegetables and peppers served with risotto. “This is incredible Michael,” compliments Max and Liz not wanting to talk. They are too busy savoring and enjoy every morsel of this dinner.

“Does anyone have room for desert?” asks Michael.

“Oh I never thought you’d say that?” Grins Liz. “Bring on the desert prepared by my favorite chef slash brother in law,” smiles Liz.

“That’s right, butter me up?” smirks Michael.

“Me, butter you up. No way Michael, I only speak the truth,” says Liz giving him a sisterly kiss on the cheek as she walks past him into the kitchen.

Liz comes out of the kitchen announces that she forgot to do some of their laundry for tomorrow and runs upstairs. She leaves Michael and Max in her wake watching her climb up the stairs ready to step in and use their powers to keep her and the unborn twins safe.

Liz peaks out the bedroom door, “I’ll be down in second guys. I’m okay. I can walk up stairs you know,” Liz just smiles and shrugs, ‘they’re so cute, protective of my every step’.

Liz calls Maria and whispers her plan to get Michael and Maria back where they belong, no more silly fighting. Liz tells Maria, “just be ready. Michael will call you in the middle of the night and want you to drive over and pick him up, okay. So don’t freak out. He’ll be fine. Yeah, so that’s the plan. The rest you’ll figure out when you talk to him later. Okay, Chica. Yeah, go do your homework and get some sleep in before Michael calls, yeah okay. Bye Maria.” Liz comes down stairs carry her basket of dirty laundry and towels. “What?” Liz asks innocently. “Why are you two looking at me like I just did something wrong,” Liz asks nervously studying Max’s face then Michael’s.

“Honey, you shouldn’t be carrying anything. Just ask and I’ll get whatever you need okay,” Max says in slightly stern tone.

“Or if Max isn’t here call me, or one of the guys and they’ll be here on the double. No one wants you getting hurt okay,” says Michael waiting for her to agree to call if she needs any help. Liz nods, in agreement.

“Of course it’s no fair two against one,” pouts Liz. “I’m always careful, but I’ll try to remember
to be extra careful and I promise to be a pain in the neck by asking the men in my life for their help, okay. Happy now?” sighs Liz.

“Yeah that works for me. How about you Max?” asks Michael.

“Yeah plus I plan to hover over her and have everyone do so when I’m not there, just to be safe,” says Max sounding every bit the expectant father with Michael backing him up as expectant uncle to be.

***************

After dinner, the trio work cleaning up the kitchen and tidying up things. Max and Liz decide to start on home work assignments and tutor Michael with his studies. Michael’s very smart. He just doesn’t care for school. Michael, under Max and Liz’s tutelage has turned into a good student and attends classes rather than skip them. Michael, like the others, is very motivated to graduate high school. The discovery of true family and his destiny has opened up a new world and helped Michael to see that he’s entitled to happiness and success in his life, just like anyone else.

Michael has turned the page on his past. He no longer is a foster kid, often abused and neglected, all for the sake of a state check made out to his foster father Hank Guerin. Hank’s death has breathed life and hope into Michael. For Michael, now the glass is half full not half empty as before. Maria has shown him, with her love and her dogged determination, that she’ll not let him walk away from her ever. No matter what, she’s there for him always. Michael has siblings, and friends that are as close as siblings ever could be. There are good and loving adults in his life who know about, and will protect, his family’s secret. He now feels like he has the things he’s always wanted: true friends, family, and someone to love. Michael tells himself that ‘maybe I should look into studying the culinary arts in college. After all it can’t hurt, just to look into it, right?’

“Hey Michael, where were you just now? Don’t tell me you were day dreaming?” Liz teases.

“Michael day dream, no way,” says Max joining in on the good natured teasing.

“Yeah so what, I was day dreaming, so sue me,” smirks Michael.

“Care to share? A penny for your thoughts,” Max and Liz say urging him to tell them what he was thinking about.

“Well, I could tell you, but I’d have to abduct you and take you to my alien leaders. Oh wait, you guys are the alien leaders,” jokes Michael.

“He’s been spending way too much quality time with Kyle,” says Liz shaking her head and laughing. “Note to self, tell Maria to limit Michael’s exposure to Kyle,” laughs Liz.

“Very funny, my dear sweet sister in law,” says Michael giving her his patented smirk with an addition of a smile.

“It’s good to see you so happy and smiling Michael. I think you’re way overdue Bro,” Max says with Liz joining in with her agreement.

The three of them finish there homework in the late evening. “Here Michael, I’ll help you make up the couch. You do the pillow case and I’ll take care of the sheets and blankets,” Liz yawns and smiles.

“Liz, you’re tired. I can do this. Why don’t you go on to bed you need to rest,” Michael says concerned with her getting enough rest with her pregnancy.

“Michael, I’m pregnant not an invalid. Even though you’re family, you’ll still be a guest here tonight so let me do this for you, okay. It’s no trouble. If you let me do this I promise not to tuck you in,” jokes Liz.

“Hey she’s pregnant, don’t argue with her is the motto I live by,” says Max.

“Listen to my brilliant husband,” smiles Liz earning her a brief kiss from Max.

“Okay, Liz go ahead and make up the couch if it makes you feel better. Anything to keep you busy before you two get started kissing again and forget that I’m even here,” Michael says mischievously.

Liz quickly makes up the couch and hands Michael a blanket. “There you go Michael. You’re all set now. Remember where our bathroom is, incase you wake up in the middle of the night a little confused. I’ll leave a hall light on so you can find your way. I wouldn’t want to have my favorite brother in law falling and getting hurt. Besides, Maria would never let me live it down that I had in some way damaged you. You know Maria and how silly she can be sometimes,” giggles Liz.

“Good night Michael,” Liz and Max say on there way up the stairs to their bedroom to turn in for the night.

“Good night, see you in the morning for one of my famous breakfasts,” Michael says. “Cool, now I wonder who’s on Leno tonight,” says Michael. He reaches for the remotes power button and turns down the volume. Michael channel surfs and finds nothing of interest on TV and gets comfortable on his makeshift bed and falls asleep remembering to use the blind fold and ear plugs, not willing to chance seeing or hearing things he shouldn’t. Michael sleeps soundly getting the three and a half hours he needs. He wakes up slowly, freaks out that he can’t see and stands up looking for the hall light. Michael can’t hear anything, remembering he has ear plugs in his ears and it dawns on him about the blind fold. Michael quickly removes the blind fold and ear plugs and quickly regrets doing so.

“Hey where’s my Caveman? Oh there you are.”

Liz and Max start making sounds. Michael desperately searches for the ear plugs to block out the sounds he’s hearing. He can’t find them in his nervous panic. Michael looks down and finds them next to the remote control and grabs them stuffing them in his ears. Michael can see Max and Liz’s shadows from their open bedroom door. Michael puts on his blind fold. “I should be safe now, no seeing or hearing Liz and Max now.”

Max and Liz are in one of their especially frisky and noisy moods, completely oblivious to poor Michael downstairs having a sensory overload wishing he was anywhere but here right now. Michael keeps repeating the word, “Mud,” over and over again like it’s his only link to sanity. He can’t take it anymore and finds the phone.

“Maria, Hi it’s me. I’m sorry about whatever I said earlier that upset you. Please can you come pick me up from Max and Liz’s right now. I want to be home with you Maria,” pleads Michael.

“Michael, it’s the middle of the night! What’s wrong, are you okay? Are Max and Liz okay? It’s not the baby is it?” Maria says riffling off her questions seamlessly while still half asleep. Michael thinks, ‘that’s my Maria never at a loss for words, even when she’s half asleep’.
While Michael still holds the phone to his ear, he hears Liz and Max Moan loudly and call out each others names. “It’s Max and Liz! They’re okay! They’re just… Oh God just hurry Maria, okay. I’ll be out on the front porch waiting. I’ll leave them a note telling them I’ll be back in a few hours to make them breakfast as promised,” Michael says abruptly as he quickly dresses and leaves his note and closes the front door behind him and uses his powers to lock it.

“Max and Liz peak outside their bedroom door, giggling. “It worked, Maria’s on her way to pick him up,” says Liz.

“Are you sure that Maria would come and pick him up with him calling her at this hour?” asks Max.

“Yes, she will. I called Maria earlier and told her about my plan. I went upstairs to call her from the phone in our bedroom when I was up there getting the laundry, remember. Max, you know I can’t stand to see those two apart. Michael’s always welcomed here. It’s just their fight was silly and no reason for them to sleep apart. Besides, this way we can really have the place to ourselves and be as loud and naked as we want to be,” says Liz flirtatiously.

“I love the way your mind works, Liz. You’re wicked with your planning but I have to say, nice work. I just have one thing to add to that…Race ya to the hot tub. Oh wait, no running down stairs for you. I’ll just have to carry you then,” teases Max.

“So move that cute butt, Max and take me to our hot tub,” says Liz grinning at him.

“Do you think Maria will makeup with Michael tonight?” asks Max.

“Yeah Maria will, she just needed a way to do it without having to admit she was wrong. Maria can keep her pride, and get Michael back where he belongs. Sometimes those two need a little nudge because they are both so much alike. So, my plan gave them that nudge. Now Max help me warm up this hot tub, so we can make it hotter sooner, rather than later,” smiles Liz seductively.

Max coughs and smiles, “Yeah let’s commence with warming up the hot tub fast. We’d better use our powers. Oh, and let’s not forget Michael’s desert…Strawberry and Tabasco sauce glaze pie with lots of whipping cream. I’ll go get it, and a fork. Oh and we’ll need towels too. Anything else you need while I’m up,” asks Max.

“Well, while you’re up, no never mind…. I just need you and that pie,” Liz says with a half smile the other half resonating in her appreciative stare at him.

On to the feedback then this week's part. I hope everyone is doing well and experiencing some sunshine wherever you may live.

AJK001- Aww Shucks! This weeks part does have some funny stuff in it too. It really plays off of where it left off last week so I had to copy some of that for it to make sense. I hope you will enjoy reading it. Take care, and thanks as always for reading and your great feedback

LoveIsForever- Hi! Sorry, I'm posting a little later Saturday afternoon than I'd like. It'll be there ready for you to read the next time you check in I promise. :D . I hope you didn't come down with the flu. I'll keep thinking good thoughts for you on that one  I'm glad you enjoyed Michael in last weeks posted new part. He was funny. Max and Liz have figured out that for the most part they are past getting too embarrassed about their affections for each other infront of the gang, so now they just try to tease and shame them instead. You liked the Alien leader joke too. I thought it was funny. Yes, at the end there Liz definitely had plans for Max. Somehow I don't think he'll object. LOL!!! :D Thanks for your always fun to read feed back. I really do appreciate it! Thank you and Have a great day!

sylvia37- Hi Sylvia! :D How are you doing? I've missed hearing from you. I'm glad you have been reading and enjoying my story. It's nothing as incredible as yours but it's definitely the most Anti-Angst story on the board I'd say. I'm behind on your story I'll go and read that today and leave my feed back for you there. I love your writing you're really a wonderful writer, loved In the Heat of the Moment, too! Nora coughs (sequel) what who said that? LOL!!! Okay, so I'm terrible I admit it. Shocking huh? LOL!!! Yeah Michael repeating Mud and traumatizing Michael like that. Oh come on it was funny right? Michael will be okay... You'll just have to read this weeks post to see what happens. Take Care

roswellian504- Hi! You liked that part huh! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Yeah, well Max and Liz are just that way. Poor Michael though that was really shocking for the guy. I'm grinning that you thought that part was funny. I'm glad it came across the way I intended it to. Always happy to make someone laugh. In this world today we need more things to laugh about. Thanks for reading and always for your feed back. Take care!

Loves Awakening Revealed II

By NorafanofMaxandLiz

Part 29

Last week we ended with this…………

It’s not the babies is it?” Maria says riffling off her questions seamlessly while still half asleep.

I just have one thing to add to that…Race ya to the hot tub!

**************

Maria picks up Michael as asked. “Michael what happened with Max and Liz? Did you say something to offend them now, too?” glares Maria.

“Me? No, I didn’t say anything to them at all. It’s what I heard them saying and doing while I was there… I couldn’t believe it. I had to get out of there. Thanks for rescuing me Blondie,” sighs Michael with relief. He offers her a kiss that stills her actions making her forget what she was about to badger him about. They break off the kiss after what seems like a few minutes.

“Michael it’s late, let’s go home and go to bed,” smiles Maria.

“Yeah, that sounds good to me too, Blondie,” smirks Michael.

“Michael, about my being angry with you, I shouldn’t have been upset about that. It’s what did happen. Okay, in that one instance I was wrong and you were right, which will probably be the exception rather than the rule with us. So, what do ya say Spaceboy, are you ready to make it up to me?” Maria says suggestively raising her eyebrows as she smiles.

Michael smirks and says, “Why Blondie, I do not know what you mean by that?”

“Well, I guess when we get home I’ll just have to show you then. I’m sure it will refresh your memory,” Maria replies letting go of his hand to gently squeeze his thigh.

“Blondie! See, I knew you missed me and couldn’t go a night without me,” teases Michael.

“Oh really, are you sure it’s not the other way around, Spaceboy?” Maria asks playfully.

“That sounds like a challenge as to who missed the other more. I think I can handle proving to you Blondie. Are you up to that challenge on your end?” asks Michael.

“Anything you can do I can handle and then some,” says Maria upping the ante.

“You’re on. You’ll regret saying that. I’ll make you shout mercy,” Michael says proudly.

Maria smiles and giggles, “We’ll see who’s shouting for mercy, or just plain passes out from exhaustion,” Maria smiles as she parks the car in the driveway of their house.

“You’re on Blondie,” says Michael quickly running around to her side scooping her out of the car and gathering her into his arms and running to her door. He quickly uses his powers to open the door and make way for Maria’s bed room. Now Michael and Maria’s bedroom since her mom moved to Albuquerque and married Jim Valenti.

As promised the next morning Michael shows up and promptly makes breakfast and does his best to avoid conversation and eye contact with Max and Liz. He lamely makes an excuse that he can’t stay for breakfast with them that he has to hurry back to Maria. She needs his help with something before school. Michael quickly says his good byes and rushes out the door and to the Jetta, anxious to get back to Maria.

The later that morning, Michael and Maria arrive late for their usual get together with the gang before their first class of the day. Michael and Maria desperately try to avoid eye contact with Max and Liz. Max and Liz think it’s because of the stunt they pulled to get Michael to call Maria the previous night. Michael and Maria are actually avoiding eye contact with Max and Liz for fear that they’ll somehow know how crazy Michael and Maria got last night making up with each other.

“We heard Maria’s car pull up and saw you get in and leave with her. So how did things go with you two last night?” asks Liz with a big all knowing grin on her face.

“Oh that. We talked and made up, that’s about it,” says Michael evasively suddenly finding his shoes in need of retying.

“Maria, is it my imagination or are you glowing, Chica?” grins Liz.

“Moi, glowing? I hope you mean in a non green Roswellian sort of way?” whispers Maria.

“I think you know what I mean Maria. We’re going to make you spill all about it. You might as well spill it now, right girls,” Liz says looking to Isabel and Mystic enlisting their help.

“You bet. We need to hear something interesting after cramming for that history exam into the early hours,” Isabel and Mystic yawn.

“Good!” smiles Liz pleased with herself.

“What? Isn’t Alex and Kyle tired too? Didn’t they stay up and study with you guys. I thought you all had that same class this term?” asks Max.

“We do but we didn’t feel the need to work so hard at cramming like the girls did,” smirks Kyle.

“What Kyle, means is they decided to watch the Basketball game on TV instead,” says Mystic rolling her eyes at Kyle disapprovingly.

“We told them it’s their grade too, so if they don’t do well on the test they get no sympathy from us,” Isabel says straightening her shoulders.

“Oh come on Princess I’ll do fine you know I’m good in history class. I’ll be fine. I let Kyle look at my notes after the game. I think we’ll do fine on the test. Don’t worry about Kyle and me,” says Alex patting Kyle on the back.

“Are you kidding, both of you are a constant worry. Now come on, or we’ll be late for class. We’ll see you guys later,” says Maria.
“What’s with Maria and Michael acting weird around us today?” asks Liz.

“I have no idea. I know what you mean and I’m not talking about the test they studied for either,” says Max.

“Babe, you work on Maria and I’ll work on Michael. We’ll figure it out, they’ll spill,” Max says confidently.

“Of course they’ll spill. Between the two of us it’s a done deal. Now we’d better get to class
Mr. Evans,” Liz says with a flirtatious smile.

“I’ll go anywhere you want Mrs. Evans,” says Max. He eyes the door to the eraser room they are approaching in the hall on the way to class. Max thinks about a quick little encounter with Liz in the eraser room, but decides against it.

“I know what you were just thinking Max. I thought of that too but, you’re right not enough time or privacy,” smiles Liz.

“Welcome back to the wonderful world of Science Max and Liz. Did you work on biology homework? We’re having a pop quiz today over last nights assigned reading,” states Mr. Seligman.

“Yes, sir we did,” says Max.

“Good, then I expect both of you to do well on the quiz,” states Mr. Seligman still amazed that Liz and Max are West Roswell High’s first married students.

‘Is he kidding, we’re masters of biology aren’t we Honey,’ telepaths Liz.

‘Yes we are. What can we say, we’re devoted to science,’ laughs Max through their connection causing them both to blush.

**************

A few hours later the gang reconvenes at lunch and catches up with each other.

“Hey guys, I just thought of something. Spring break is coming up and after all this slaving away studying and taking finals we deserve some quality R and R,” says Alex.

“Any ideas?” asks Michael.

“I always have ideas,” says Kyle wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

“Kyle, you horn dog,” says Mystic.

“To know me is to love me. And you definitely know me Mystic,” Kyle says with a broad smile.

“True, I do know you and I do love you, so you’re lucky on both counts,” teases Mystic.

“Ouch! My fragile male pride is wounded here,” feigns Kyle.

“Poor baby, you want me to kiss it and make it better?” Mystic says teasingly.

“Really, you’d do that? Now’s good for me. How about you? Too many people around huh? Rain check then,” jokes Kyle.

“Kyle!” says Mystic horrified he’s saying this stuff in front of everyone.

“Hey, you’re right Michael. It is a turn on seeing the fire in their eyes when they get pissed at you,” says Kyle.

Maria and Mystic look at each other and then glare at Michael and Kyle.

“Yikes! I think we’re in for it now. Nice going there Valenti. Anybody ever mention that you don’t know when to shut up,” says Michael punching Kyle lightly on the arm.

Isabel interjects, “Okay, enough with dumb and dumber. Let’s talk about planning something fun for all of us for Spring break. It’s coming up soon.”

“Well, I could check the travel websites on the internet and see if there are any good package deals that are still available for a group our size,” offers Alex.

“Thanks Sweetie, that’s a great idea,” says Isabel while she takes his hand in hers under the table.

“I was thinking someplace warm and relaxing. I need to work on my tan,” says Maria.

“I suggest we avoid places like Fort Lauderdale or Daytona Beach Florida. They’re always so crowded,” says Max.

“You’re right. With this group a little less crowded would be better. Besides, we don’t want anybody hitting on our girls,” says Michael.

“Yeah, that could make things ugly in a hurry and tempt us to use our powers,” says Max in a low voice.

“Think about it people. We could go anywhere even California or stay here in New Mexico. We could go just about anywhere we want. But just think about it okay,” urges Alex.

“That sounds like fun, yeah we’ll all think about it. Why don’t you guys come over to the cabin Saturday around 4pm and we’ll have a BBQ and sit around and talk about it some more then. Maybe we could get Cal to come over too, and visit with us and suggest some places that would be nice to visit,” says Max.

“Why do you want us to come over so late on a Saturday afternoon, Max? Wouldn’t earlier be better?” asks Isabel.

“Uh, no Isabel. Earlier is not going to work. You see Liz and I like to spend the morning in bed…sleeping in,” blushes Max.

“You just had to ask that didn’t you Isabel. Great, now I have this visual I have to get out of my head now. Thanks a lot Iz,” says Michael.

“Take it easy on him you guys. He’s still traumatized from last night at Max and Liz’s,” Maria blurts out unexpectedly.

“Oh now this sounds good,” teases Kyle rubbing his hands together eager to hear the details of what Maria’s eluded to.

Michael blushes and looks at Max and Liz who are turning bright red and laughing so hard holding there sides.

“I can understand blushing, but laughing I don’t understand,” says Michael.

Liz and Max calm themselves after there fits of laughter at poor Michael’s expense.

“Michael, what you thought we were doing and what you heard last night wasn’t what it appeared to be. We sort of staged that so you’d panic and call Maria to come over to get you. We figured this would force you two to talk and makeup,” says Liz.

“Wait! What did you guys make Michael think you were doing?” asks Kyle with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.

Max and Liz look at each other, blush, and cock their heads to one side. “We’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count,” says Max.

“You didn’t….” says Kyle pointing his index finger from Max to Liz. “Really? Wow, now that takes nerve, and great plan by the way,” compliments Kyle.

“God Kyle, please don’t encourage them. They are even worse now than they were before they got married. Just think we used to complain about them being a little to wrapped up in each other always kissing. That was nothing compared to them now,” states Isabel rolling her eyes and delighting in making Max and Liz blush.

“And so what’s your point,” says Max as he boldly grabs Liz in his arms and kisses her breathlessly infront of the group.

“See, you just encouraged him. Thanks a lot Kyle,” says Isabel swatting Kyle on the arm.

Max and Liz break off their kiss coming up for air. “Yeah thanks Kyle for the encouragement not that Max needs any in that department,” Liz replies managing to embarrass Kyle.
Little did the group realize that everyone in the quad was silent watching their antics and stunned by their conversations that they were able to over hear. All of the sudden the sound of applause is heard all around them. The group picks up there heads and their smiles fall as they notice they are the source of attention and the reason for the applause. “Oh God, we really need to remember where we are when we talk about things, and to whisper,” says Liz blushing and burying her head into Max’s shirt and chest wishing she can just disappear.

“It’s okay Liz. This isn’t the first time people have made a big deal about us before,” says Max kissing the top of her head that seems determined to hide in his shirt.

“Are they still staring at this table?” asks Liz.

“Yes Liz,” says Max.

“Somebody please do something to stop them from upsetting Liz?” asks Max.

Kyle rises from where he was sitting and quickly forms a thought of what to say and do. “Hi everybody, Max and Liz and the rest of us will be appearing Monday through Friday at a hallway and quad near you. Now move along now people the shows over,” says Kyle.

“Thanks Kyle,” Liz says peaking out from the safety of Max’s chest and arms.

“No problem Liz, all you have to do is ask and I’ll make them go away. I’ll think of something I always do, or I could just fart that would make them clear the quad in a hurry and forget all about you guys,” laughs Kyle.

“Don’t you even think about it Kyle Valenti or you’ll be sleeping on the floor? I don’t need for any of us to be embarrassed like that. I think the rest of the school is a little unsure how to take us as it is, Kyle. Let’s not make things any worse than they already are okay. Besides, knowing you and what you eat they’d probably call the hazardous waste patrol over here and quarantine the school or something like that,” jokes Mystic.

“Ha ha very funny,” says Kyle trying not to laugh at her comments. Their group laughs at Mystic’s comments.

“Mystic, you and Kyle are made for each other. No one could come up with something like that to say, but you,” laughs Liz giving her friend Mystic a hug.

“Come on guys, time to go on to our next classes for rest of the day,” says Max and Liz still laughing at Mystic’s words and the image of that in their minds.

Everyone meets out in front of the school in the parking lot at the end of the day and talks briefly.
“Okay so we’ll expect you guys Saturday around 4 pm for a BBQ at our cabin,” reminds Liz.

“Wait, what day is tomorrow?” asks Kyle.
“It’s Saturday, silly. Mystic you need to make sure he gets some sleep. Don’t let him study anymore tonight. I think Kyle may’ve strained his brain with all that studying, and it needs rest…at least for tonight,” teases Max and Liz

“Okay see ya then. Behave you two and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do?” says Kyle.

“Oh don’t worry Kyle. We are way more creative than that,” says Max with a smirk.

Post by NorafanofMaxandLiz »

Hi All! :D

Sorry, I'm really late posting today. I had everything written proofread and ready to post this morning. But, my ISP decided to have issues and needed to repair their server or whatever. So, I couldn't post anything until now.

Okay, just a reminder I'll be gone for two weeks. I'll actually be out of the country and leave on March 21 and won't be back in the US until that first week in April. So there won't be any updates during that time. I'll even be away from my beloved computer Max. I hope I don't go through withdrawls.

I will try very hard to come up with a small part this coming week to post before I leave. I'll try really hard to make that happen it's just I'm so nervous and excited about my trip that it's hard to think. I had a tough time coming up with this week's part. Max and Liz and the gang gave me a break and helped me out. Thanks! I know some of you are in Texas at the 'Shooting Livien' premiere word is Dom will be there and I hadn't heard yet if our Jason was going to be there. I hope so for those of you going, although I'm feeling a touch envious right now. I hope you all have a great time. Like Maria, I want details people so please let me know.

On with Feed back:

AJK001- Hi :D I'm glad you liked Max's parting comments to Kyle. I had fun writing that. I have tonights post for you and hopefully one more small posting before I leave for my trip. After I get back I'll be posting like clock work again. I hope you'll understand. Thanks for reading and your fun comments. It's all very much appreciated by me. Thank You!

roswellian504- Hi :D No, nothing of the incriminating alien nature was divulged so nothing life threatening was over heard. Just some insights to how close this group is and the very interesting closeness of the couples is all. Just the embarrassing stuff nothing earth shattering worthy. I still haven't quite figured out where they should go for Spring break yet. I just know it should be someplace fun for them. So, I guess we'll both be surprised when I figure that out. Thanks for your feedback. I'm so happy your enjoying my story and the laughs along the way.

Cherie- Hi :D Hey girl, You just know I'm green with Roswellian envy that your in Texas at the premiere of Jason's staring roll Independent film 'Shooting Livien'. I wish I could've gone but I'll be leaving soon for my trip couldn't justify or afford that trip as well. Gees, another potential Jason siting and I'm out of the loop once again, Damn!! I have to meet him and try and hope I retain higher brain function to speak to the guy. LOL!!! I'm glad you liked last week's part. After meeting Nick in person and talking with him writing Kyle is a breeze. Nick's has many Kyle like qualities about him. He's a lot of fun. I bet Jason is as well. I've always heard only good things about him. Okay, I'm definitely green with envy, but I'm happy for you. I hope your trip is amazing and I hope to hear all about it and see pic's when you get back. Take care and safe journey

LoveIsForever- Hi! I loved reading your feedback last week. I'm always tickled that people enjoy the parts that I had the most fun writing. Max and Liz sure did play a trick on Michael but it was for his own good, and it was funny. The image of a terrified Michael fleeing Max and Liz for very normal reasons cracks me up. It's even funnier that Maria was his rescuer. I love writing those two they are so much fun. Oh and Kyle he's always keeping things stirred up. It's a fun Mix to keep up on. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Please see my note before the feedback explaining upcoming MIA postings. I'll be back I promise. I love writing my gang. So no worries  Thanks a million for your always fun feed back, it's always a treat to read. Thanks for reading.

Now on with the New post... Sorry for the lateness ISP issues, sorry.

Loves Awakening Revealed II

By NorafanofMaxandLiz

Part 30

Last week we ended with…

Kyle and Isabel are talking about how bad Max and Liz are about each other and how they’ve gotten worse since they got married. Max takes that comment as a personal challenge and shamelessly kisses Liz breathlessly in front of their friends.

Little did the group realize that everyone in the quad were silently watching their antics and stunned by their conversations that they were able to over hear. The group picks up their heads and their smiles fall as they notice they are the source of attention and the reason for the applause.

Now move along now people, the shows over,” says Kyle.

“Thanks Kyle,” Liz says peaking out from the safety of Max’s chest and arms.

“No problem Liz, all you have to do is ask and I’ll make them go away. I’ll think of something I always do, or I could just fart. That would make them clear the quad in a hurry and forget all about you guys,” laughs Kyle.

“Don’t you even think about it Kyle Valenti or you’ll be sleeping on the floor? I don’t need for any of us to be embarrassed like that. I think the rest of the school is a little unsure how to take us as it is, Kyle. Let’s not make things any worse than they already are okay. Besides, knowing you and what you eat, they’d probably call the hazardous waste patrol over here and quarantine the school or something like that,” jokes Mystic.

“Okay, see ya then. Behave you two and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do?” says Kyle.

“Oh don’t worry Kyle. We are way more creative than that,” says Max with a smirk.

*************

Kyle walks away with Mystic and grumbles at his friends parting comments meant as a joke. “Damn that Evans, he always gets the last word. That’s it. When we go home, break out the Karma Sutra and let the post it notes fly. Now that’s the kind of study session I can handle.”

“Kyle you’re joking, right? Hon, I have a term paper to get started on tonight. But maybe later after I get my outline done and started on writing. I will have to take a break periodically for a few essential things like something to eat, drink, etc, and of course you. Kyle, Max was just trying to get the last word and show you up, which he did by the way. It was funny. Would you just stop it Kyle. You’re acting like a child as if Max had thrown down the gauntlet aimed at your male ego. That’s just silly Kyle. It was just a funny comment Max made. Stop making more of it than it was. Men! Can’t live with them, can’t live without them,” sighs Mystic rolling her eyes.

“What? You think I’m being ridiculous? Fine!” says Kyle while opening his car door for Mystic.

“Besides, if you let me at least write my outline and start on my first draft of my term paper, I might be persuaded to take a break and let you win a hand of strip poker,” smiles Mystic giving him a wink.

“Really? You’ll play strip poker with me later. In that case we’d better stop at the store on the way home for munchies. I must be in the zone and ready to beat you at poker. How many hands did you want to play?” asks Kyle wiggling his eyebrows.

“Well that depends on how many munchies you feel like snacking on?” teases Mystic. Kyle smiles confidently and drives with a single minded determination to the grocery store like a man on a mission. Mystic looks over at him and smiles at Kyle’s whole demeanor. She senses his lightened and playful mood through their connection. They arrive at the store. Finding a parking spot they pull in and park. “You go and get what you want and I’ll just sit in the car and enjoy the sunshine today,” says Mystic enjoying the warm weather that she loves about living in New Mexico.

********
“Max we should probably go to the grocery store and buy some food for the BBQ tomorrow,” Liz suggests.

“Okay, but you know we’ll probably have to come back for more tomorrow. We will be feeding the masses. By masses I mean Michael, Alex, and Kyle. You know how much food those guys can put away,” teases Max.

“You’re right Max. We’d better make a stop at the ATM too,” Liz laughs.

“Next time it’s their turn to host the BBQ,” says Max pulling into their bank to use the ATM.

“Fair enough, now let’s do our shopping and get back home to the cabin,” Liz says grabbing several pints of strawberries, a couple of cans of whipped cream, and two large bottles of Tabasco Sauce. “What?” Liz says with a raised eyebrow.

“Liz, are you getting that for the BBQ or is that for us?” Max asks with the sides of his mouth turning up in a hopeful smile.

“It’s for us of course silly,” Liz says with a smirk.

“I was hoping you’d say that Babe. Now, what kinds of things should we buy for the gang to eat?” Max asks.

“I think the guys would pretty much eat anything food related that’s not healthy and is fattening. So that means pretty much anything that can’t eat them first,” teases Liz.

“That’s what I thought?” says Max.

Max and Liz find what they need for their BBQ and emerge from the store with a shopping cart and four very full bags of groceries.

“Max, I don’t think we eat this much food in a week let alone go through this much in a day. One thing is for certain, we can count on the guys to not let any of this food go to waste or become leftovers,” jokes Liz.

“Yeah. No fear of that happening with our group,” Max replies.

“Come on, now that we have that chore finished lets go home put this away and enjoy the rest of our evening,” Liz says pushing the cart back to it’s space.
***************

The next morning Max hears the alarm clock go off and hits the snooze alarm for it to go off again in ten minutes, or so he thinks. Liz is still sound asleep snuggled up in Max’s arms with and one hand in her long chocolate silky hair the other protectively holding on to her stomach.
Max awakens to the feel of the babies kicking his hand that rests on Liz’s stomach. At first Max is disoriented and the babies kick again making his hand fall away from Liz’s stomach. Max smiles broadly that he was woke up by their twins. Then he wakes up Liz.

“Liz honey, did you feel the twins kick just now?” Max asks excitedly.

“Max, I’ve been feeling them a little bit more now. It seems they want their mommy and daddy to wake up. What time is it anyways, Max?” Liz asks.

“Oh no! It’s 12:30 pm. We really should get up and start the day before they all show up and drag us out of our bed. I’m not sure but I think it’s really bad form for the hosts of the BBQ to be late for their own festivities and to have the guests forcibly drag them out of bed to get things moving,” laughs Liz.

“Don’t laugh. That could happen to us. You know they’d try to drag us out of bed and enjoy teasing us about it too,” Max says rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

“Well, if they dragged us out of bed right now things could get very embarrassing since we aren’t wearing anything, as usual. But still, not the way I’d care to have us greet our guests, family or not. It’s not a side of us they need to see,” giggles Liz.

“Definitely not. Come on, let’s go take our shower. We ah…still have time to enjoy a nice long shower together,” Max says with smoldering eyes.

“Well, Mr. Evans, that’s the best offer I’ve had today,” says Liz batting her eyelashes and smiles.

“What do you mean best offer today? What, you were expecting other offers?” asks Max in a joking tone.

“Well, a girl’s gotta keep her options open. Keep a keen eye out for the perfect guy. You just never know where he’ll show up,” says Liz wagging her finger playfully at him.

Liz stands and offers Max a parting smile as she drops the sheet covering her bare form. She then runs to the bathroom turning on the shower and adjust the water temperature to suit her.

“Max, I thought you were going to join me,” Liz says.

“I will. I was just hoping I’d get an offer I couldn’t refuse,” Max says. Max is still in bed lying on his side with his hand propped up holding his head. He’s waiting for Liz to peak out and say something to him.

“I was hoping you’d join me. I need you to wash my back; and if you’re very good, I’ll let you wash my front too,” Liz says beaconing him with her crooked finger.

“That was the offer I was waiting for,” Max states as he bolts up and out of bed. He’s at Liz’s side in an instant. “Now let’s see about turning up the heat on our shower shall we,” Max says taking her hand guiding her to the shower. An hour later they emerge from their bathroom freshly showered and very content. They put on their robes and go down stairs for breakfast.

“Max, let’s eat a light breakfast since we really need to get finished getting ready and straightening the house,” says Liz. She points to the trail of their clothes that is strewn on the stairs and stops at their bedroom door.

“Yeah, I guess things got a little wild last night watching TV,” says Max looking down blushing then scratches behind his ear. “We’ll definitely need to clean this mess up before everyone gets here, or risk their endless ribbing about it,” comments Liz.

Liz and Max quickly eat a light breakfast and hurry to straighten the house up making it suitable for company. When they finally finish they notice that it’s 3pm.

“We have just enough time to get ourselves dressed and made presentable for our guests,” says Max. They rush up stairs to get dressed. A short while later everyone arrives early to help Max and Liz get things set up.

“Hi guys, come on in,” greets Max sounding a little out of breath.

“We didn’t interrupt you or anything did we? You did tell us yesterday to come over around 4pm, right,” says Kyle enjoying watching Max blush at Kyle’s less than subtle insinuation.

“No, Kyle you didn’t interrupt anything. I was just out back and heard the door bell,” clarifies Max.

“Kyle would you stop with stirring up trouble just for one day please,” urges Mystic.

Kyle hands a grocery bag of food to Max to add to the collection of vast quantities the guys will no doubt consume. “Here, I brought munchies,” Kyle says and makes his way over to greet Liz and to find the remote control for the TV to see what sports might still be on.

“I wouldn’t get too comfortable if I were you Kyle,” says Alex just waiting for one of the girls to notice.

“Why, what’s wrong with catching up on the scores and what’s going on in the wonderful world of sports,” asks Kyle.

“You’ll see, just wait for it to start,” grins an all knowing Alex.

Maria glances over at Kyle and is instantly incensed he’s watching TV when this is a BBQ at Max and Liz’s. Maria brushes past Mystic and puts a hand on her shoulder she says, “I’ll take care of this.” “Oh brother dear, if you’d like to not eat your meals through tubes you’ll be getting your butt off of that couch and help Max and Liz with things now, mister,” says Maria glaring at him with her arms crossed.

Kyle glares back at Maria, “Make me.” Kyle turns his focus back to watching sports. Michael’s amused by Kyle’s refusal and Maria’s rage at Kyle. Michael takes this all in and smiles.

“What’s the problem,” Isabel asks and is quickly filled in on the details.

“Maria let me know if you need a hand with Kyle. I’m sure he might be a little more agreeable if we use our powers on him. We can zap him right off of the couch,” suggests Isabel with a grin.
“I’m always happy to help,” smiles Isabel.

“See what you did Kyle. Now you have Maria and Isabel teaming up. You’re so screwed dude, just surrender it’s safer,” advises Michael.

“Thanks for you support Michael,” remarks Kyle in his usual sarcastic manner.

“Fine, just trying to give you a word of advice before it’s too late. It’s your funeral, so go ahead,” replies Michael.

Alex leans forward and says in a low tone to Michael, “I think this is going to be better than watching ESPN. My money is on the girls. Kyle’s so out matched it isn’t even funny,” grins Alex.

Michael smiles, “I agree. This is going to be really good. Let’s hope they show him some mercy or Kyle could be sleeping at your and Isabel’s place tonight.”

“Okay, you’re right we should help him. I don’t want him staying the night at either of our places. You just had to go and ruin my fun didn’t you,” grumbles Alex.

“Sorry,” replies Michael.

“Kyle if you don’t get your butt off of the couch and the TV shut off in the next ten seconds, you’ll be one very sorry jock,” warns Maria with Isabel standing behind Maria backing her up.

“Mystic, aren’t you going to say something to them to make them stop?” asks Kyle.

“Yes, thank you for reminding me Kyle. Yeah, girls you might want to take this outside Liz just cleaned the house,” says Mystic with a mischievous smile.

“See I was right, women are pack animals. They circle and defend their own,” says Kyle.

Michael and Alex both move out of the way. “Oh crap he’s in for it now. There’s no saving him now, not after that statement,” says Michael and Alex agreeing with each other for once on something.

“Yep, it’s time to get the hell out of dodge before the fur starts flying,” says Alex.

“Yeah, I don’t want to get hit with friendly fire,” warns Michael.

“Let’s go see if Max or Liz needs any help with anything,” suggests Alex.

“I’m right behind you Alex,” says Michael.

“Hi Liz, how’s our favorite mother to be,” says Alex.

“I’m fine. The babies kicked a lot earlier and woke us up before the alarm went off,” smiles Liz.

“Really, so you’re saying you have possible soccer or footy players on board there,” smiles Michael.

Alex kneels down and talks to Liz’s stomach, “Okay you two no beating up on Mommy with kicking her too hard okay. Uncle Michael think you guys will be athletes, what do you think?” asks Alex.

The twins respond as if on cue and kick once back.

“Whoa, that was cool,” says Michael and Alex both in awe.

“Hey guys not that I don’t enjoy having you two kneeling before me, but I really need to get things set up for the BBQ. Would you mind taking these briquettes out there to Max for the BBQ,” says Liz pointing to the back deck area.

“Sure Liz, anything else you’d like us to do for you just let us know. Right Michael,” says Alex.

“Absolutely. We don’t want you to over do it,” says Michael getting a chair from the kitchen table for her to sit down. “Tell me what you want me to get prepped for the BBQ and I’ll take care of it. You can stay here and visit with the girls or watch them torture Kyle. He opened his mouth when he shouldn’t have and swallowed his whole damn foot again,” shrugs Michael.

Liz rolls her eyes at hearing this. “Okay, I’ll go save Kyle if I can,” says Liz. She finds out what has transpired between Kyle, Maria and now Isabel. “Who started this and what was said exactly,” asks Liz trying to remain calm. “I feel like I need to step in here and find a more peaceful less dangerous way of solving this. Kyle you said what you said, and you were out of line. It was also bad manners, too. Not rising to the level of worthy of maiming him, but I do have a solution. Kyle since you said what you did to Maria you get to go outside now and wash her Jetta. I’d advise you to do a good job and not make anything worse. Agreed Kyle?” asks Liz.

“I have to wash her car? Fine, but only the outside,” sighs Kyle. The girls were disappointed that they didn’t get to make Kyle regret his words. They did understand Liz’s solution deciding she was being more reasonable since she wasn’t angry with Kyle.

Maria finds Michael and the guys outside helping Max. “You guys have got to see this. Kyle got in trouble and Liz gave him the punishment of washing my car,” grins Maria.

“I’ve heard of having to peel potatoes but washing a car, now that’s an original one Liz,” smiles Michael.

“He’s not too upset about it. I think he realizes that they could’ve really did a number on him for his rude comments, but Liz intervened thank fully,” says Cal entering the deck area.

“Hi Cal, I see Liz called and invited you to all the fun and games,” smiles Max.

“Yes, she did. She said that you wanted to get my advice and suggestion on places to travel to for spring break that wouldn’t be to high profile for everyone,” states Cal.

“Sure that’s no problem. We can talk about that after dinner when everyone has calmed down,” he says watching Kyle threaten to hose Isabel as he washes Maria’s Jetta.

“Kyle, don’t forget to wash the windows on my car too,” says Maria smugly.

Kyle glares at her, “I’ll take care of it Maria.” Kyle continues to wash a section of Maria’s Jetta and then rinse off her car.

“You missed a spot Kyle,” says Isabel.

“Where?” asks Kyle

Isabel steps closer to him and points where he missed a spot on the car. Kyle carefully holds the hose behind him with his thumb partially over the mouth of the house and releases its pressure aimed squarely at Isabel then Maria. Kyle laughs and then sees both of the girls expressions change from amusement at teasing him to rage as they both are dripping wet from Kyle’s little stunt. He sees them raise a single hand to his direction. Kyle takes off running as fast as his jock feet will take him.

“Well that went well. More food for us at the BBQ then,” says Michael patting Alex on the back.

Isabel uses her powers to dry her and Maria off and they strategically find a place to hide waiting for Kyle to return. Kyle waits for ten minutes.

‘It’s been ten minutes now. That’s plenty of time for the girls to calm down. You have to admit it was funny,’ says Kyle to himself. He cautiously walks back toward Max and Liz’s cabin. He walks right into Maria and Isabel’s trap. They stand opposite each other as Kyle walks past some trees. Isabel and Maria emerge and fire a few warning blasts deliberately missing his feet forcing him to run and trip over a rope that goes to a five gallon bucket that is now being poured on him. Maria and Isabel high five each other in their getting Kyle back for earlier.

Kyle walks back to the cabin with Maria and Isabel beside him. He gets to hear them laughing at him.

“Yeah you got me a good one, this time,” warns Kyle.

“Oh come on Kyle you look cute doing your drowned rat impersonation,” teases Maria.

“You two have a dark gift, ya know,” says Kyle with a smirk.

“Thank you Kyle, don’t you ever forget it,” grins Isabel.

“Do you want us to dry you off?” asks Maria.

“No thanks. I think of you both like my sisters. Not going to show the bod, sorry ladies.”

“Kyle, we meant drying you off using our powers. You thought we meant…Ewww! Save the showing of your bod for Mystic, we’ll pass,” says Isabel with Maria agreeing with her.

“Let’s go see if the BBQ is ready. I don’t know about you two ladies, but I’m hungry now. It must’ve been running for my life from two girls with alien powers that did it,” smirks Kyle. He continues, “Yep, all in days work for me,” grins Kyle.

“If you sing a chorus of ‘it ain’t easy being green’, like Kermit the frog. We’ll really hurt you,” warns Isabel. “Besides, you’re a little green around the gills now too.”

“Yeah I know. I joined the alien hybrid bonding and co club. That comes with the side benefit of getting some of my bonded mate’s powers. Kind of a cool trade off really. I find my soul mate and I get wicked cool powers, and now I have more family than I know what to do with. I’m sure I’ll think of something, which reminds me about possible places for spring break. I vote for someplace warm but not in New Mexico okay,” suggests Kyle.

Isabel looks over to see Cal’s parked car. “Liz said she was going to call him and invite him over for the BBQ and help us figure out where would be a good place for our group to celebrate spring break. I suppose we’ll get to discuss that later,” comments Isabel.

Hi All! :D

I did it! Phew! I managed another part to leave you guys with while I'm gone for two weeks. Last week's posting I wasn't sure I'd be all that productive at writing, but thankfully I was able to pull it off. I really wanted to give you guys one more part before I left. I'll miss you all while I'm away. I'll be back the first week in April. I'll have to try writing on the plane or something.

I noticed a lot of you weren't here last week, that's okay. I'm sure some where in Texas at the 'Shooting Livien' premiere doing some very successful Behr hunting. Okay, so I'm envious and wishing I had been there. I'll have to figure out a way to make that happen one of these times. I know there's Philly but I don't know if I can do that either. I really need to meet him and just bask in his Behrness and Amber eyes and try not to drool too much. LOL!! To those of you that got to go and meet his hotness in person I salute you and I want details, okay. Yes, I will go Maria on you about that. The rest of you, I hope all is well with you and yours and wish you all a great Holiday/ Spring
Break.

On with the Feed back,,,,,,

AJK001- Aww... I always like reading your feed back. I'm happy you liked last weeks part. You'll miss my updates, really? I'm touched. I will do everything in my power to have good time but something tells me I won't have to try to hard. I believe that's been factored in. LOL!! I do think about my readers and enjoy re reading your feed back to make me smile, laugh, or just to lift my spirits. All of you guys are the best. Yes, I'll miss reading your feed back while I'm gone. I know that it will feel strange to not be writing and posting while I'm gone. I'll have to go low teck and write in my spiral note pad on the plane. I'll be taking all my favorite Roswell music with me to listen to and inspire me just in case. So, of course I'll think of you guys.... Take care and I hope you'll enjoy this week's part it's a short one but that's the best I could do. I didn't want to leave it to post when I came back. I hope it's okay... Take care and enjoy!

LoveIsForever- Aww shucks... You're going to make me cry saying that you'll miss me and my weekly updates. This is that one more update before I leave for my vacation. See I told you guys I'd try to get one more in before I left and I was good as my word. I did it! I'm sorry to hear about your cold. Drink lots of liquids and try to get comfortable and rest a lot. I hope you feel better soon. Darn those colds.

Now as for Kyle's escapades last week. He's lucky they regard him as a friend or even as family. Otherwise, he'd be one sorry guy. He's learned an important lesson don't mess with the girls. He also might have to give some serious thought to thinking before he speaks, nah this is Kyle he'd never do that. LOL!! That's okay we like Kyle he does manage to keep things stirred up and keep people laughing. He's fun, maybe too much for his own good sometimes. I'm thrilled you enjoyed last week's part. I think you'll like this one too.

Part 31

Last week we ended with this...

**************

Isabel, Maria, and Kyle walk around to the back of the cabin to find everyone there on Max and Liz’s deck. They are visiting and getting things situated on the picnic table, just off of the deck. “Hi guys, so what’s up?” asks Isabel.

“Oh, Kyle was with you and Maria? Okay, do I need to ask if we need Max to heal him? Michael and Alex filled me in on the whole unfortunate misfiring of Kyle’s mouth incident,” says Liz with an amused smirk.

“They told you huh… Did they mention the part where they abandoned and left me in untold danger with an angry Isabel and Maria taking aim at me? No, I didn’t think so. Thanks a lot guys,” says Kyle running his hand through his wet hair.

Max starts laughing, “What did the girls do to you?”

“Thanks for your concern El Presidente,” smirks Kyle.

“Something he deserved, no doubt,” adds Mystic.

“Mystic!” exclaims Kyle.

“Don’t you Mystic me! You insulted all of us girls, directly or indirectly. You owe us all an apology. Now, Kyle. If you don’t, you’ll be sleeping elsewhere,” warns Mystic.

“Gees, and to think he teases Max about being hen pecked. I think its clear which one of the guys here is hen pecked,” grins Alex.

“What was that Alex?” asks Isabel with a glare.

“Nothing Princess,” smiles Alex apologetically.

“Yeah, like you said. We can see who the hen-pecked one is Alex,” smirks Michael with uncontrolled laugher.

“Michael, I wouldn’t go there if I were you Spaceboy,” warns Maria winning the battle of silent wills between them.

“Max, a little help here,” requests Michael.

“Oh, now you want my help. No way, I stay out of domestic disputes particularly ones involving Kyle, Alex, and Michael,” Max says cheerfully.

“Damn he’s too smart for that,” Kyle says aloud.

“Yes he is and don’t you forget it. While we’re at it, so am I. So don’t even,” Liz cautions.

“Kill joy!” Kyle comments sarcastically. He then decides to sit and sulk.

“Give him a minute. He’ll be back in there stirring up more trouble and making us all laugh at Kyle’s own unique brand of humor,” comments Mystic.

Cal turns his attention back to Max. “So Max, I see everyone’s getting along like usual,” smirks Cal.

“Yeah, you haven’t missed much in the week you left to take care of some things. Cal, we were thinking about spring break coming up and we wanted to go somewhere, just our group. I realize that some of the non married members here might need us to have a chaperone. Liz and I were hoping that could be you. We’ve been thinking of where we could go as a group for spring break avoiding the typical places like Fort Lauderdale or Daytona Beach type of places. That’s just not our scene. So, could you help us think of places that would be adequate for our group?” asks Max.

“Ah, too be young again and have another spring break vacation,” Cal says as his thoughts carry him away remembering a younger version of himself enjoying spring break. “Sure. How can I be of assistance?” asks Cal.

“Where would you recommend for us to spend our spring break?” asks Liz.

“I’m assuming you were thinking someplace outside New Mexico. There’s Hollywood, California. I know lots of places there you kids could visit, and I could even show you around.
You could even go to one of their beaches, or take in the usual tourist spots like Rodeo drive, etc.” Cal says pausing as Maria and Isabel both look as if he just mention the Holy Grail.

“That’s just great Cal, now we have to listen to Maria nag us about going to Hollywood to shop at Rodeo drive,” sighs Michael.

“It’s not decided yet we’re still brain storming ideas right now so calm down Michael,” suggests Max.

Liz urges everyone to offer their suggestions, “Come on. Let’s hear some more names of places to go to.”

Kyle adds his suggestion to the list, “I know, how about Australia? What? Come on, who wouldn’t like to check out life down under. It’s supposed to be great for swimming, surfing, sailing, and scuba diving. All of that spells maximum bikini watching,” Grins Kyle.

Mystic adds, “I see, and just who’s bikini would you be watching, huh?”

“Kyle, she’s got ya there. Face it dude, you are off of your usual game,” says Alex.

“Do ya think,” Kyle adds after getting punched in the arm by his sweet little Mystic. “I didn’t mean all those other girls bikinis, just yours of course Sweetness.”

“Oh now that was a classic save. Nice move,” Michael and Alex confer and write on a napkin posting Kyle’s score.

“I think that’s worth 4 stars,” says Michael.

“No way, dude. It clearly was worth only three stars,” comments Alex.

“Do you think Mystic will buy his lame explanation?” asks Michael.

“Are you kidding me? Mystic’s a smart girl and a spitfire. She won’t let him get away with it,” says Alex confidently.

“I disagree. Care to place a wager on this?” suggests Michael.

“It’s a bet,” says Alex shaking Michael’s hand.

“Alex, do you and your partner in crime have any location suggestions?” asks Liz.

“I think Las Vegas could be interesting and profitable. Where would you like to go Alex,” asks Michael.

“Las Vegas does sound like fun; I could test my numbers probability program I wrote. On second thought, I think Hawaii would be a beautiful place to visit. I know my Princess would like that,” Alex replies.

“Suck up much Alex?” teases Kyle.

“I think it was very sweet what Alex said. Back off Kyle, or I’ll haunt your dreams,” warns Isabel.

“Hey Kyle, FYI she’ll do it to. Never underestimate my sister’s threats,” states Max.

“Thank you Max,” smiles Isabel.

“No problem Iz, just telling the truth,” smiles Max.

“Is everyone through dissing me for one day?” Kyle asks sarcastically.

“I’m not sure, maybe we should take a vote,” Isabel grins mischievously.

“Well, I don’t know about Iz, but I know I’m not through yet. I’ll let you know when I’m done Kyle,” Maria says with a huge fake smile on her face.

Kyle comments, “Note to self, do not piss off Isabel and Maria. Something tells me Liz has a nasty temper too, we just haven’t seen it.”

“Yes Kyle, even I have a temper and trust me you don’t want to see it. See when you make really smart people pissed off at you, they can find endless ways to mess with your life and enjoy getting even. For your sake Kyle, you’d better hope you never see that side of me,” admonishes Liz.

“Yikes! I think our women are more dangerous than enemy aliens. Okay, I’ve learned my lesson. I apologize for being such a jerk saying those things,” says a sincere Kyle.

“And... Oh come on, more groveling please,” states Maria with her hands on her hips.

“I’ll be a good boy and never do it again Mom, I swear,” says Kyle sticking his tongue out and mocking her.

“Okay focus people, back to figuring out our spring break destination,” says Max. Max points to Maria.

“I’d like to go to New York or LA. Both are great for shopping and have great sight seeing potential,” says Maria adding her own opinions to the mix.

“Isabel, your turn where would you like to go?” asks Liz.

“I agree with Maria on New York or LA. I think LA might be more doable for all of us and I’d really love to see the ocean,” says Isabel wistfully.

“Liz, where do you want to go?” asks Cal.

“Well, we did go to Hawaii, although we didn’t see much of it. I think I’d love to go to LA and check out all the touristy stuff there, and I wouldn’t mind watching some sunsets and walking along the beach with Max. So, my vote is for LA,” states Liz.

Liz asks, “Max where do you want to go for spring break?”

“I think I’d really love to see the ocean and take in some of those sunsets walking on the beach with Liz. I’d like to go to LA. There’s plenty of stuff to do as a group and as couples,” adds Max.

“Mystic your turn, where would you like to spend spring break?” asks Liz.

“I’ve always wanted to go to LA and go on a studio tour. I’ve thought it would be fun to get one of those maps of the stars and see if I can spot or, even better, meet any of them. Yes, and I would love to go to the beach and experience the ocean. It might be fun to take in a few sunset walks on the beach with Kyle, if he can behave until then. I’m definitely on board for LA,” smiles Mystic.

Max contemplates everyone’s answers, “So we have Maria, Isabel, Liz, me, and Mystic all voting for our destination to be LA. Kyle wants to go to Australia for uh… sight seeing. Which by the way would require passports and I’m sure there’s some hoops to jump through with that and a time period before they are approved and received, not to mention acquiring a visitors visa’s etc... We don’t have that kind of time to do all of that. Sorry, Kyle. Maybe this summer or graduation we could plan ahead to do that,” explains Max. “Alex, I’d save Hawaii if I were you, for just the two of you,” suggests Max. “Michael you in Las Vegas just spells trouble to me. You’d get caught using your powers cheating and get into some real trouble. I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” warns Max.

“Well guys it looks like we’ll be going to LA,” Smiles Max.

“Were going to LA, really? I can live with going to LA. Maybe I’ll get to spot a real Baywatch Babe. Maybe I could fake a drowning.” Grins Kyle.

Michael ignores Kyle’s comment. “Cal, what can you tell us about LA? None of us have ever traveled that far before. I mean since we came here from the ’47 crash. Well, with the one possible exception of Max and Liz’s honeymoon in Hawaii,” comments Michael.

“Hollywood is truly amazing. It’s the land of movie making and movie stars both on the big and little screens. As you know I’m a producer of “B” movies so I know Hollywood and LA very well. Some of you mentioned going to see the ocean. There’s that or you could travel to Santa Monica and walk along the pier and enjoy the ocean, and the girls could enjoy many of the vendors along the board walk shopping. Magic Mountain is also very popular among tourists. Trust me; with all the bizarre things in Hollywood you guys wouldn’t even get a second glance. I could arrange a studio tour if you would like. Universal Studios is there and has studio tours and shops. I’m sure we could find something for everyone to see and do in LA. With my connections it shouldn’t be a problem at all. So, is it agreed on LA then? We could talk about travel arrangements and see if that’s agreeable with everyone. Since you are all technically considered minors, I could chaperone some of the sight seeing trips. Other times you guys could be on your own as long as you keep your cell phones with you and call me if you need anything. I have some business to attend to on a picture that I’m involved with that’s just about to go into
production. This would be a great opportunity to keep on top of things.

“Cal do you think you could get us some brochures of places and things to do there? You know all the usual touristy stuff,” states Liz.

“Absolutely, I’ll call my secretary and I’ll have her Federal Express them over night. You’ll have them tomorrow. Anything else you can think of to ask me right now?” smiles Cal.

“I have a question. Can we be sure that whatever hotel we stay at, that Max and Liz get a floor to themselves?” asks Michael with concern.

“Sure, that won’t be a problem. Can I ask why?” asks Cal.

“Well let’s just say they can get carried away and there are volume control issues and I really don’t want to relive that nightmare anytime soon,” states Michael in serious manner.

“Really, so Max and Liz have volume control issues, huh? Like what exactly?” asks Kyle managing to make everyone laugh including a blushing Max and Liz.

“Kyle, give it up. No one but me is able to get even the slightest details out of either of them. I know. I’ve tried. Well, I have,” shrugs Maria unashamed of her endless quest for details.

Max and Liz change the subject hoping to defer everyone’s attention off of them and back to thinking about their spring break plans. “So Santa Monica is the famous boardwalk we see in the movies a lot, right?” asks Max.

“We definitely want to go there see the sights, shop, and enjoy a romantic sunset walk along the beach. We could make smores, Max,” Grins Liz mischievously.

“Cal, put us down for a trip to see the Santa Monica pier,” blushes Max.

“Smores, what’s so special about smores that would make Max blush and Liz grin?” asks Kyle.

“It’s a long story. It’s strictly on a need to know basis, and you don’t need to know,” states Liz wagging her finger at him.

“Gees, Liz you won’t even throw us peasants a crumb huh,” teases Kyle.

“That’s okay; please suppress any urge to share any details, Liz. This is you and my brother we are talking about. I know Michael agrees with me. We so do not need to hear any of this and neither do the rest of you. Some things are just private okay,” Isabel states firmly.

“Yeah, one traumatized sibling is enough okay. Your work is done here. Change the subject please, somebody,” urges Michael raking a hand through his hair nervously.

“Lighten up, guys. Let’s talk about safe things like our spring break,” adds Max.

“No wait, just for the sake of clarity what Kyle asked about Max and Liz getting there own floor at whatever hotel we stay at. I know Isabel and I would be very grateful,” says Michael. “Can you really set that up for them, please?”

“Certainly, not a problem at all, I have clout and favors I can call in. Don’t worry, it’s a done deal,” states Cal alleviating Michael and Isabel’s concerns. A relieved Isabel and Michael celebrate this news with high fives.

“I’m not sure Babe, but I think we’ve been insulted,” states Liz.

“It’s okay Liz, not everyone can be us. They’ll just have to learn to live with the envy. If they can handle it,” teases Max.

Loves Awakening Revealed II

By NorafanofMaxandLiz

Part 32

Last time we left off with this…

***********************

Cal stays for a while longer to enjoy the BBQ and then explains he needs to go make arrangements for the gang’s trip.

“I’ll call Max and Liz with the details and we can all touch base tomorrow on everything. Okay, goodnight kids. And Kyle, try not to make Isabel, Maria, or Mystic angry with you between now and then. You see Kyle, the thing to remember is to think before you speak and sometimes speaking less is better,” advises Cal.

“Thanks for the advice, Obi wan. I’ll try to practice that sometime. What the heck, it might just work,” shrugs Kyle.

The rest of the group just laughs at Kyle’s comment referring to Cal as Obi wan. Cal just shakes his head at Kyle’s usual funny dry comments and says good night to the others.

“You know Kyle, it might not be a bad idea to take Cal’s advice,” states Alex.

“I know I probably should, but I like living dangerously. Just look at my friends who happen to be a bunch of hybrid aliens and now I’m a little green around the gills too. I think it’s safe to say that I’m way past playing it safe in this X file scenario I call a normal life. I think I’m pretty lucky to have you all in my life. You’re my friends that I trust with my life. I consider you all family. Besides I’m one of the few people to know for sure that aliens exist and are here on earth, and that there are signs of intelligent alien life out there. Well, except for Michael here,” Jokes Kyle.

“You’re going to pay for that comment Jock Boy,” says Michael raising his hand to use his powers to fire a few low level shots at Kyle, just missing him.

“See Max, this is our life now just as it should be. Here we are one big happy family with Kyle making his usual smart ass comments and Michael on the warpath. I guess it’s all in a normal day for us with this rag tag group of family isn’t it?” Liz states.

“Yes Liz, that’s certainly true. It’s been a good day,” Max says watching Michael running after Kyle in hot pursuit and the girls laughing.

“I suppose we should break up Michael and Kyle’s latest skirmish before one of them gets hurt,” Liz says with a sigh.

“No, let them figure this out. If they hurt each other I can heal them. I’m sure things won’t get that far,” Max sighs shaking his head at Michael and Kyle.

“Max I was just thinking that after dealing with Kyle, Alex, Michael and their antics when they get on each others nerves, I think having the twins might not be quite so hard an adjustment,” Liz says causing them both to laugh hysterically.

“Too true Babe, it looks like in a way the guys are helping us prepare for the twins in there own way,” laughs Max.

The next morning Cal calls Max and Liz and asks them to have them tell the others to meet him at the Crash Down for brunch and that he’ll explain/share the details of what he arranged for them. “It’s easier if I call a brunch meeting with everyone at the Crash Down so I can share the details only once, and we can then figure out if any other issues need addressing at that time. Okay, Max I’ll see you and the gang there bye,” Cal says.

“Max, who was that on the phone,” asks Liz.

“It was Cal. We have a group meeting with him at the Crash Down.”

“Oh okay. You mean I have to get out of this bed right now? But it’s so comfy and you’re here. Remind me again why I need to get out of bed and something about Cal’s call I can’t… I seem to have lost my train of thought,” smiles Liz.

“No way Mrs. Evans, we both need to get up now and contact the others and shower and get over to the Crash Down for the meeting Liz,” Max smiles amused by her attempt to distract him.

“What Max, I have no idea what you’re implying,” says Liz batting her eyelashes at him.

“Uh huh, right Liz shame on you, stooping to that level. Come on, let’s teleconference the gang and go take a shower. If you’re a good girl we can take one together but it’ll have to be a quick one…shower I mean,” teases Max.

Max and Liz contact the others and inform them to meet them at the Crash Down for brunch at Cal’s request to inform them of their Spring break travel details.

A short while later everyone assembles at the Crash Down eager to learn Cal’s news about their travel plans for spring break. The gang all order the same thing for breakfast Belgian waffles with lot of whipping cream, strawberries, and Tabasco Sauce. Cal and the gang tuck in to their food ravenously. Jeff brings them more Tabasco Sauce for their waffles and shakes his head in disbelief that anyone would actually put that on Belgian waffles, willingly and enjoy it. Some of the other patrons notice this unusual dietary quirk chalking it up as a new trendy thing that teens are doing now.

“If no one objects I think we can discuss this while were eating,” suggests Cal. Cal receives nods of agreement as they continue to eat. “I have several things I think you may enjoy. I thought you might enjoy the usual touristy spots to start with, such as: Mann’s Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood sign, La Brea Tar Pits, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Universal Studio tour. Also for the girls I thought I’d arrange a shopping tour of Rodeo Drive. I’ll have my secretary take care of arranging that and taking them on that particular excursion. If that’s okay with you guys,” states Cal with a knowing smile.

“That’s all great Cal but what about the beach. I think some of us were really looking forward to going to the beach and seeing the ocean for the first time,” Max says wanting to make sure they get to do that during their visit.

“I know, I was getting to that part Max. Don’t worry. I didn’t forget that you, Liz, and some of the others expressed a desire to do that. I was thinking you’d like the Santa Monica Pier. It’s very low key. Not as flamboyant as Venice Beach which I think you’ll find more to your liking. Yes, there are lifeguards on duty there, Kyle. But do not hassle the lifeguards, please. Mystic, I hope you’ll be able to keep him on a short leash while there. We don’t need any unnecessary attention drawn to this group while visiting, no matter how amusing Kyle’s antics can be and that goes for the rest of the guys too,” Cal says with a smile.

“I have reserved an entire floor for Max and Liz as per your request. I have reserved executive suites for all of you as couples. I’ll be a chaperon but I realize your living arrangements here at home and thought you’d like that continued as well. Besides everyone’s parents know the situation and are okay with it. You see, I have a business partner that is part owner in the Radisson Hotel located on Wilshire Boulevard, and that situates all of you nicely in L.A. for most of the activities I’ve mentioned per your requests. I took the liberty of reserving executive suites for everyone because…why not travel first class? My friend owes me big time. I introduced him to his wife so he’s happy to accommodate our group. I think it would be best if I take a room there too, so I can keep a closer eye on you all as well,” Cal informs them.

“Wow, Cal you really know how to go all out for us thank you,” Liz says giving Cal a brief hug of appreciation.

“Of course I think it’s only fair to make a rule that you all call home to your parents daily to let them know how you are doing, okay. Plus I’ll be attending your outings to make sure security is addressed,” Cal says looking at Michael and making his point suggesting that security is to be handled discreetly. At this suggestion Michael gets a little irritated

“Hey, I’m just as concerned that we all be safe as you are Cal. That is part of my duties too, you know,” Michael firmly reminds Cal.

“I know I’m counting on your help coordinating that with me,” says Cal calming Michael’s anger.

“We’re agreed I’m in on the security arrangements then,” prompts Michael.

“Yes, of course,” replies Cal.

“Okay, if you two are through beating on your chests I’d like to ask Cal about being able to do all of this and about getting around in L.A. and visiting all these great places you’ve mentioned Cal,” Mystic asks trying to change the mood of things between Cal and Michael.

“Yes, we’ll be able to get all these things in. I just thought you’d want to be as busy as possible getting to visit all the places you asked about, so I planned it accordingly. Any revisions you’d like me to make, just let me know,” smiles Cal. “Now go home and pack. Your plane leaves this evening. Don’t forget to call your parents and leave them the contact info at the Wilshire Blvd Radisson in LA. Let them know it’s a three star hotel and you’ll be staying in suites with full amenities,” Cal suggests.

“What time this evening does our flight leave?” asks Max.

“It leaves tonight at 6pm. We’ll be taking my private jet. I think we should all meet back here at 4pm so we can take my limo to the airport. I’ll call my pilot and inform him of our itinerary for LA. That’ll give them time to prepare the jet and contact the other crew,” Cal replies.

“Okay, I just have one thing to ask…Does the suite have Internet capabilities for my laptop computer?” asks Alex.

“Yes, of course. I already considered that when I booked your and Isabel’s suite. There’s also a nearby observatory all of you might like to see. If you like I can make arrangements for that as well,” suggests Cal.

“Thanks for taking care of the internet access issue. I appreciate it. Actually, I think we all would like to pass on the observatory thing, it’s not really any of our scene but thanks for thinking about it,” offers Alex.

“Yeah, something tells me those aren’t the kind of stars we’d want to see in LA anyways,” teases Michael.

Now with all that being said, I suggest you finish your brunch and get a move on to pack. I’ll see you at 4 pm here,” says Cal as he gets up from his seat to leave.

“Well, the guy’s got style you have to admit that,” says Kyle.

“You heard the man, finish up and let’s leave to go pack. We’ll see you all soon,” Max says picking up the bill to pay for everyone’s meal and Jeff tells him to forget it.

“Max, family doesn’t charge family for a meal. You’re money is no good here. That goes for all of you, okay. Now, go and have fun. Look out for each other and be sure to call home every night okay. Max, take good care of Liz and make sure she eats and doesn’t over do it,” smiles Jeff giving Max a departing hand shake and Liz a hug.

“Bye Daddy we’ll be fine and we’ll call you and Mom, don’t worry. I’ll even take lots of pictures of us all goofing off to make you laugh. It’ll be great,” smiles Liz as she hugs her father.

The gang goes home and packs excitedly for their eminent trip to L.A. Maria and Isabel panicked about what to wear or pack. They drag their guys along with them to help decide what to pack. Alex and Michael roll their eyes at the girls making such a big deal about packing a suit case and wardrobe issues. Isabel shows Maria a cool trick to do with her powers. Isabel manages to use her powers to remove the air from her clothes and suit case enabling it to fit more in, without looking over packed. “Cool trick Isabel. You’re my kind of people. You know what that means? We can take an empty suit case each for souvenirs and Rodeo drive,” smiles Maria with a twinkle in her eyes.

“Scotty beam us up now, please… hurry,” jokes Michael.

Liz and Mystic being more practical minded packed just what they thought they needed realizing they can either buy whatever they need or use their powers to alter what they have. Unlike Maria and Isabel they are not clothes horses. After meeting up with the others and listening to the packing antics of Isabel and Maria, Max and Kyle thank their girls for not being that way.

“Yes, see Max we got the good women,” jokes Kyle giving Max a high five.

“No arguments from me on that one. No flies on you Kyle,” laughs Max.

Moments later in front of the Crash Down, a long black Limousine appears with Cal getting out to greet the kids and gather them for the ride to the airport. Cal’s jet is there standing by.

“I can’t wait to get to LA and check it out. I’m glad I brought my digital camera and extra battery and memory card,” Mystic says grinning excitedly.

“We’re at the airport now. Behave on my jet now please,” urges Cal looking at Max and Liz expectantly.

“What, why are you looking at us, we didn’t do anything,” says Liz nervously wondering if Cal was able to read her mind and her plans she had for Max later on board.

The others burst into laughter. “Oh man he’s got you two pegged. He knew you’d try and join the mile high club in his private jet,” laughs Kyle uncontrollably.

“We don’t need to try and join the mile high club, we’ve been there done that… a few times already,” smirks Max eager to wipe the smile off of Kyle’s face. Michael and Alex enjoy Kyle trying to embarrass Max and Liz.

“Kyle, give it arrest. When will you ever learn? There’s no out doing Max and Liz, just deal with it dude,” says an amused Michael.

Kyle looks at Mystic, “Are you up for a challenge?”

“Kyle, don’t be an ass. I know it’ll be hard, but resist your natural tendencies at least for a little while,” teases Mystic.

“You’re an evil woman Mystic,” Kyle pretends to sulk.

“Uh guys save the touchy feely stuff for your hotel suites please. I’m still hoping for food on the plane and don’t want to loose my appetite,” adds Alex.

“Okay kids, enough. Please just behave and talk quietly. Don’t make me referee you guys with my powers,” says Cal authoritatively.

“Yes Dad,” smirks Kyle sarcastically.

Now next stop is Los Angeles.

I still haven't done that yet, it's beginning to give me a complex... I just don't see what's wrong with being a nice fan who is unable to meet him at premiere and just stalk him. By NorafanofMaxandLiz

Part 33

Last time we left off with this….

“Kyle, give it a rest.

*********************

Cal’s pilot and crew prepare for take off after necessary checks and making sure their passengers are buckled in and ready. The pilot expertly guides the plane to the appropriate runway. He’s been cleared to take off and awaits air traffic controls acknowledgement for their go signal. Kyle and the others anxiously await take off and the thrust of acceleration as the plane lifts off.

“Now, that was cool,” says Michael grinning from the sensation.

“Yeah, I think I understand why pilots are cool. Oh man, can you imagine the rush it would be to fly one of those high tech fighter jets like an F-18A Hornet. That would be awesome,” says Kyle.

Alex replies, “Definitely. Just imagine the on board computers stuff,” beams Alex.

“Sure that’s all cool. Personally, I’d rather picture that volleyball scene from Top Gun, now there’s a target rich environment,” Mystic says still clearly day dreaming of that very thing unaware of the others surprise at her comments.

“Mystic! I can’t believe you just said that,” scolds Maria.

“Oh please, like you didn’t have a thing for Ice man. I had a thing for Maverick. I don’t fall for blonde guys you know that Maria,” jokes Liz.

“Okay you’re right Liz. I did have a thing for ‘Ice man’, he was hot. That volleyball scene definitely was memorable. Liz, you know I have a weakness for the sexy jerky rebellious types,” says Maria giving Michael a look. Michael is obviously irritated listening to the girls, specifically Maria comment on another guy she thinks is hot, bruising his male ego despite his tough exterior and attitude. Michael looks at Maria and sees the smoldering look of lust in her eyes meant only for him. He smirks and excuses himself as he walks towards the restrooms on board the jet. Maria can feel Michael’s mood and receives a brief message from Michael. Michael uses his connection with Maria telepathing her to meet him in the restroom in 5 minutes. He warns Maria to act like nothing is out of the ordinary or they’d get caught. Never hearing the end of the teasing they’d endure from their friends and family if caught.

Maria waits the five minutes and makes her excuse. “I forgot to brush my teeth this morning. I hate that yucky feeling,” says Maria reaching for her bag and retrieving her toothbrush and Tom’s all Natural toothpaste. Maria looks up and sees Liz looking at her with a question in her eyes.
“What, so my mother raised me to be a freak about having good dental hygiene habits,” smiles Maria.

“I didn’t say a word Maria,” says Liz giving Maria a knowing smile.

“Well, I thought ‘Goose’ was cute as ‘Maverick’s Reo’,” says Isabel.

“Great, I’m surrounded by women all with a thing for the guys in that damn Top Gun Movie. This is just so wrong,” says Kyle.

“Max, you haven’t said anything. Is this topic of conversation bothering you too?” asks Alex hoping for Max’s support on this.

“No, it doesn’t bother me. Liz says she’d rather watch me play volleyball than that Maverick- Tom Cruise guy,” Max offers with a huge smile. Max then reaches over and gives Liz a passionate kiss.

“Hey, that reminds me where’s Michael and Maria?” asks Isabel. Liz quickly informs Max telepathically where Michael and Maria are at.

“Oh I think Michael mentioned to me about wanting to ask the pilot something,” says Max thinking fast and hoping that’s enough to keep everyone off of Michael’s back about his and Maria’s disappearing act.

Kyle notices Max and Liz’s obviously telepathing each other about something. He takes note of Michael and Maria both being gone. Kyle smiles; he understands what’s going on. “Max is right. Michael did mention wanting to meet the pilot and ask him a few questions,” adds Kyle trying to validate Max’s previous comment. Isabel begins to talk to Mystic about their plans in L.A.

The group notices Michael and Maria’s both being gone for quite a while. A few eyebrows are raised, but it’s quickly dismissed. After all, this is Michael and Maria they are dealing with. Michael’s just not the type to do something like joining the mile high club, while their friends on board the plane. Kyle contemplates all this and looks curiously towards the cock pit and bathroom.

“Nah, not Michael and Maria,” Kyle says to himself quickly dismissing the thought from his scrutiny.

“Do you think we’ll meet any stars when were in L.A.?” asks Mystic.

“I don’t know. I certainly hope so,” Isabel replies.

“Hey Liz, what about you?” asks Mystic.

“To be honest, I didn’t really give it a lot of thought. It would be fun to bump into a star though,” Liz answers.

“Don’t worry Max. No star could ever steal Liz away from you. As far as Liz is concerned you’re it,” Isabel comments.

“Well, I feel the same way about her. Once you’ve found the perfect one you’re done,” beams Max softly kissing Liz’s lips.

“Okay you two. Just because you’re the only ones married doesn’t mean you can forget the rest of us are here. Please, don’t forget we are here or we’ll all go blind or something. Liz you and Maria are my best friends since forever, but there are just some situations you just don’t want to see your friends in. It’s just too much information,” jokes Alex. “By the way, where’s Maria?” adds Alex.

“Speak of the devil, there you are Maria. Is everything okay? Why are you a little out of breath?” asks Liz probing her friends face and then smiles realizing what she suspects happened. Maria could never keep a secret from Liz no matter how hard she tried. Liz could always read her like a book. Alex is completely oblivious about Liz’s observations and conclusion about Maria’s disappearance. Michael joins the others and takes his seat only moments after Maria does. Michael jumps into conversation having overheard what Alex had just said about Max, Liz, and the too much information. Michael tries to be as casual as possible.

“I hear ya on that one Alex. It’s not just seeing them that worries me, it’s what I can hear and then my mind fills in the visual, that’s equally horrifying. They forgot I was sleeping on their couch that one night Maria kicked me out because we were arguing. Max and Liz seemed to forget all about me sleeping on their couch. When I heard the noises I called Maria begging her to pick me up and I apologized. I couldn’t get out of their fast enough before I saw the actual visuals to go with the audio,” states Michael raking his hand through his hair.

“Don’t worry buddy, I feel your pain and suffering on that one,” smirks Kyle.

“Yeah, shame on you two sex addicts. Look what you did to our Michael. He’s scarred for life now,” Alex tries to say with a straight face, but can’t and bursts into laughter.

“Alex stop it. I’m sorry Liz and Max. Alex stop it or you’ll be sorry,” warn Isabel.

“Sorry Princess, Michael and Kyle’s influence is rubbing off on me,” Alex says innocently.

“Oh sure blame me, Alex,” says Kyle.

“Yeah why does everyone pick on Kyle and Me,” says Michael trying to find an ally anticipating friendly fire of teases and threats. Everyone erupts in laughter and mercilessly teases Kyle and Michael.

The pilot announces they will be making their descent shortly and please remain seated and buckled until after the plane has come to a complete stop. All the momentary laughter and taunts subsides and the gang does as instructed. Everyone tries to catch a glimpse out the windows of what Los Angeles looks like from the air and the cities night lights.

“Wow, look at that all those bright lights and all those cars on the highways. LA traffic looks scary. Max and Michael you get to be designated drivers,” announces Isabel.

“We can handle it, right Bro? It does look like they are all moving faster than the speed limit, cool,” says Michael.

“No way Michael, sorry I’m getting in on the driving here. In Roswell my dad’s the sheriff and I can’t have any teenage fun with speeding. It’s my God given right as an American teenager in L.A to drive here and speed. It would be un-American and impolite. After all, it’s how the natives drive. Look, see what I mean,” points Kyle watching with a big grin on his face.

“Kyle, your killing my fun here,” says Michael with Max nodding in agreement.

“Okay, look before you all decide to use LA as your personal Indy time trials. Please note that we are going to be with you in the car and one of us is pregnant,” states Liz.

“Sorry Liz, we won’t go any faster than the normal traffic okay,” the guys say in unison.

“Thank you. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to use the restroom,” says Liz getting up a little shakily and composing herself walking to the restroom. Max exchanges some worried glances with the others.

“I’ll give her a couple of minutes and go and check on her,” Max says.

“I can go and check on her if you like,” offers Maria.

“No, thanks Maria, I’ll go check on her. I’m sure she’s just fine. It’s probably just the excitement of the trip,” suggests Max.

“Okay Max, just give a shout if you need any help,” Maria says with a worried smile.

Max goes to check on Liz finding her a little pale but smiling up at him. “Hey you, I was wondering how long it would take you to check on me,” Liz says standing up to kiss him hello.

“Liz, are you and the twins okay?” Max says with concern.

“I’m fine Max. The twins just decided to give my ribs a good kick. Let’s hope they don’t play soccer in there,” Liz jokes patting her lower abdomen.

“Were alone at last, it seems a shame to waste this opportunity,” Liz says flirtatiously kissing his neck. She allows her hand free reign to put her hand under the hem of his shirt and touch his bare skin. In a low tone Max growls and closes his eyes.

“Liz, we can’t do this here. Remember the warning Cal gave us about not defiling his restroom on his jet. Not to mention the teasing we got about it from everyone,” Max hastens to add while his mind and body are having a major battle of wills at the moment.

“Max, okay you’re right. Besides everyone is sort of expecting us to do this here so they can really tease us about it. Fine, but all bets are off when we get to our hotel room,” Liz says eyeing Max with lustful eyes.

“Don’t look at me like that or we’ll just throw caution to the winds here and never leave this restroom,” warns Max.
“Ooh best offer I’ve had all day. Okay, I’ll be good for now. Later, I make no promises,” Liz replies…

Everyone is excited to get off the jet and to their hotel suites to see where they’ll be staying for the next week. The gang deplanes and their luggage is moved from the jet to the waiting limousine. The girls all remark about wanting to take a long hot bubble bath. The girls and guys enjoy the limousine ride to their hotel, the Radisson on Wilshire Boulevard. The couples pair off and check in. They are each shown to their suites by the bell hop. Max quickly thanks their bell hop and tips him, anxious to be left alone.

“Liz, are you okay now? Did our budding soccer duo decide to give you a break?” asks Max with love and amusement.

“The twins are resting after earlier,” Liz laughs.

“That’s great. I think they’re acclimated to our time and thankfully not Aunty Maria’s or Uncle Michael’s timing,” muses Max.

“We can only hope,” smiles Liz.

**********************
Two hours later… Liz, Max and the others agree to meet downstairs for a late dinner and discuss which of their plans they would like to do first tomorrow.

“I was thinking that maybe we could go and see the Hollywood walk of fame and the Hollywood sign and then break for lunch. Then how about we burn off some energy at the Santa Monica Pier,” suggests Max.

“Max! Us girls did want to get some shopping in while visiting. We will definitely want to check out Rodeo Drive,” Isabel informs Max and the guys.

“You heard the shopping Nazi. I promise the shopping excursion to Rodeo Drive will happen and Cal said his secretary would be helping with that. Today though it would be fun to see the Hollywood walk of fame and the Hollywood sign and then go to Santa Monica Pier. They do have shopping on the pier too, so you ladies could see what the shopping is like there,” suggests Max earning him smiles from the girls and glares from the guys.

“Hey you’re not allowed to side with them on shopping, Max. Clearly we need to do an intervention on him. Don’t we, guys?” Kyle says always ready to show Max the error of his ways.

“Very funny Kyle, you didn’t give me a chance to tell you all my other plans. I thought it might be fun to walk on the beach and maybe see about playing some beach volleyball. We can pick teams or whatever. Oh come on, it will be fun. Even Alex wants to do this,” Max elbows Alex in the ribs prompting his nod of approval.

“I’m not in the habit of agreeing with Max on things, infact this feels unnatural. I think Max is right. Count me in for a game of beach volley ball,” states Michael.

Cal, who is also at this meeting, suggests that the kids use his chauffer and limousine rather than go on a bus tour. “This way you can move around without worrying about your privacy or getting lost. I can accompany you on most of these outings. It would make me feel better knowing that I have a way of reaching you on the days I’m at the studio working on my new film that’s just about to go in production. Now, don’t get upset about me chaperoning, that was already a given. L.A. is a big city. There are some bad areas and some jerks out there, neither of which do I want any of you to find yourself at the mercy of dealing with. Besides, what’s wrong with traveling in style in a limousine,” adds Cal with smile that puts everyone at ease. Max and the others all agree to Cal’s suggestions.

“Now that’s been discussed and agreed upon, what time do we get started in the morning?” asks Max.

“How about we meet downstairs in reception at 10:30 a.m.?” suggests Liz. Everyone agrees to meet at that time.

“Just to refresh my memory, we are going to the Hollywood walk of fame and the Hollywood sign, then the Santa Monica Pier, right? That sounds great,” Mystic comments.

*****************
The next day…

Max, Liz, Cal, and the gang all meet up as planned and leave in Cal’s limousine off to do the touristy thing and see the Hollywood walk of fame and the sign. The limousine stops near the Hollywood walk of fame and the chauffer helps everyone out and waits for them. “Wow, look at this. We are really here. Oh look there’s Marilyn Monroe’s Star… I’m putting my hands in her impression there,” says an excited Isabel.

“Of course, Princess that makes sense. One blonde bombshell paying homage to another,” beams Alex adoringly.

“Alex, you are so sweet,” Isabel replies. She walks over to Alex and proceeds to kiss him. This earns Isabel and Alex all kinds of cat calls and wolf whistles from passerbies.

“Hey guys, cool it. It’s not even noon. Pace yourself,” teases Kyle.

“Kyle, since when do you know anything about pacing oneself,” says Mystic with mischief twinkling in her eyes. Everyone laughs at Mystic’s comments but Kyle, he just shrugs his shoulders.

“Mystic, we’ll just have to see about that later,” warns Kyle with a suggestive grin on his handsome face.

“Promise,” says Mystic wiggling her eyebrows.

“Okay guys, now it’s your turn to cool it,” says Maria.

Michael manages to change the subject. “Hey there’s James Dean’s Star and impression. Now, he was a cool guy. I’ve seen some of his movies and the guy was good,” Michael says with a mixture of respect and awe.

“Yeah, they were only a few of the great legends of Hollywood. At least we still have their films to watch and remember them by,” comments Liz.

Everyone looks around the walk of fame and has fun finding there favorite stars and enjoys seeing their star and impressions. They even get Cal to stop and take a photo of them, and then the Chauffer to take a picture of the entire gang and Cal there amongst the stars.

Kyle unable to resist jokes, “It’s fitting a bunch of aliens and their protector amongst the stars on the Hollywood walk of fame. Hey, I wonder aside from us how many aliens can ever say that?”

“Kyle, you’re lucky no one but us was around. Be careful what you say in public,” reminds Max.

“Max, I knew we were the only ones around so it was safe to say it. No problem El Presidente, so calm down,” says Kyle.

After visiting the Hollywood sign, the gang regroups and stops for lunch before going on to Santa Monica Pier. “Now that was an incredible lunch. Great suggestion on where to eat at Michael,” Alex says with giving Michael a pat on the back.

“Hey, you have to eat at “The Hard Rock Café” when in L.A. It was on my personal list of places to visit,” Michael states simply.

“I agree with Alex, that was a great lunch,” says Cal.

“Is everyone finished with lunch,” asks Liz.

Even Alex admits, “I couldn’t eat another bite. That’s saying something because I’ve tried,” laughs Alex.

“Okay, well then people let’s get moving on to the Santa Monica Pier,” Isabel says in full shopping Nazi command mode.

The girls drag the guys and poor Cal through a couple of dozen shops getting all kinds of things from earrings to silly souvenirs.

“Okay ladies, that’s about all I can take. Can we do something fun of a non-shopping variety for a change?” begs Kyle.

“Kyle!” Mystic exclaims.

“Mystic, I didn’t mean that. Hold that thought for later,” winks Kyle.

“Sorry,” blushes Mystic.

“What exactly were you thinking of that all of us could do?” asks Liz.

“Anything, but no more shopping. We are at the beach. How about a fun game of beach volleyball?” suggests Kyle.

Liz and the girls huddle up and whisper things; finally they break out of their huddle. “Okay, that sounds like fun. How should we do this, guys vs. girls, or what?” Liz asks.

“Guys what do you think, girls vs. guys?” asks Kyle conferring with the guys.

“Sure, that sounds good. But remember Liz is pregnant so take it easy on her,” warns Max.

Everyone excitedly looks around and runs to the beach to feel the sand between their toes and take in seeing the ocean for the first time.

“Wow, this is really incredible,” Liz says with a huge beaming smile.

“Not as incredible as you are to look at,” smiles Max.

“Hey, would you two lovebirds let my lunch digest first. You already got the girl, okay you’re done dude,” Michael says with a smirk.

“Yeah, words on love and romance to live by from our own Michael Guerin. Instead of criticizing, you should be taking notes,” quips Maria.

“Ouch, that’s harsh dude,” laughs Kyle.

“Kyle, don’t start,” says Mystic.

“Sorry Honey,” says Kyle apologetically.

“Enough already, let’s go find a volley ball court,” says Max holding Liz’s hand they walk on to find an empty volley ball court.

“Hey! We found one. Come on guys,” informs Liz.

They get all situated and have divided up into teams. The girls had on their swimsuits under their clothes anticipating going to the beach today. Liz and Isabel remove their shirts, shorts, and shoes; Mystic and Maria do likewise. The sight of the girls taking off some of their clothing got the attention of some nearby wanna be California surfer body builder types who think they are Gods gift to women.

Part 34

Last time we left off with the gang in L.A....

After visiting the Hollywood sign, the gang regroups and stops for lunch before going on to Santa Monica Pier. “Now that was an incredible lunch. Great suggestion on where to eat at, Michael,” Alex says with giving Michael a pat on the back.

Can we do something fun, a non-shopping variety for a change?” begs Kyle.

“Kyle!” Mystic exclaims.

“Mystic, I didn’t mean that. Hold that thought for later,” winks Kyle.

“Sorry,” blushes Mystic.

“What exactly were you thinking that all of us could do?” asks Liz.

They get all situated and divided into teams. The girls have on their swimsuits under their clothes anticipating going to the beach today. Liz and Isabel remove their shirts, shorts, and shoes; Mystic and Maria do likewise. The sight of the girls taking off some of their clothing got the attention of some nearby wanna be California surfer body builder types who think they are Gods gift to women.

*********************

“Hey ladies, what do you say you ditch the losers and come with me and my friends? My name is Steve,” says the pushy stranger.

“Sorry, we’re busy,” Isabel replies in a cold unwelcoming tone.

“Oh with them you mean,” Steve points at Max and the guys.

“Yes, actually. We’re family and we’d just like to play some volley ball without any hassles. Please take the hint and leave,” Maria says with a glare.

“Your family, huh? Well what’s the problem, your brothers won’t mind, right fellas?” says Steve with his friends encouraging him.

One of Steve’s buddies’s, Mark, walks over to Liz and puts his arm around her, urging her somewhat forcefully to go with him.

“I don’t want to go anywhere with you jerk! I’m here with my husband and his family minding our own business when you jerks showed up. Just please leave before you start something you’ll regret,” warns Liz.

Mark grabs Liz by the arm, “No chick talks to me that way and gets away with it. You’re definitely coming with me.” Mark continues to drag Liz off with him towards the nearby parked van. Liz is terrified frozen with fear not expecting this to happen and even more afraid of what could happen if she uses her powers in public. “Max, help me,” shouts Liz in a panic of shock that this is really happening to her.

“Cool, have fun buddy, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” waves Steve and shouts to his friend Mark.

“I think I’ll go for this tall blonde supermodel type right here. What was your name again baby?” Steve asks.

“My name is Isabel and you will tell your friend to let go of my sister-in-law immediately. You’re going to really regret crossing me and my family. This is your final warning. If you and your little pack of wolves act intelligently for once, and let go of Liz and leave us alone maybe you can avoid a lot of pain and suffering,” states Isabel in commanding don’t mess with me tone.

“Oh come on beautiful, it’s nothing worth getting upset about,” says Steve touching Isabel’s face and hair.

“You had better leave our family alone now! Let go of my wife and sister or live to regret it,” shouts Max holding back his rage by the thinnest of threads. Michael, Kyle and Alex flank Max on each side. Cal sees this all go down and is scanning to find a place less public to deal with these jerks and teach them a little respect. The beach is way too crowded for a showdown with alien power.

“You heard the man, leave peacefully and walk away now, or in a body bag. It’s your choice,” warns Michael.

The surfer body builder jerks laughs at Michael. “Oh yeah, right. You and what army?” laughs Steve.

“Funny you should mention that, we are an army of sorts,” Smirks Kyle. The surfer jerks don’t back down, but move closer and keep between the group and Liz. The tension is thick and it is apparent these guys are spoiling for a fight.

Michael looks from Max to Kyle and gives a nod. “You know Kyle, teaching these guys a lesson Roswellian style might be just what they need to learn some manners and respect,” Michael grins and cracks his knuckles.
“Definitely, but I get first crack at them. That jerk over there has my Liz and for that he’s going to pay and pay dearly,” Max says. His voice is full of a chaotic ridden rage being held back like a damn about to burst. The girls rush over to join Max and the guys putting up a united front in this fight if it needs to come to that.

Mark looks over his shoulder back at his friends and the conflict that’s unraveling before him. He decides he can force Liz in the van and leave and get away easy, but that means leaving his friends there to handle any fight with this girl’s family and husband. Steve shrugs this off, leaving his friends to fend for themselves against the other guys. Mark puts his hand over Liz’s mouth using his free hand to work the key opening the van door and gives her a rough shove into the van. Liz bites Marks hand for the moment.

Michael telepaths, ‘Max, go to Liz and rescue her. Make sure she’s okay. We can handle these idiots. Besides this might even be fun.’ Max is already half way to Liz. Everyone’s group connection opens wide. They hear Michael’s comments and all look to Max knowing he will handle the situation with Liz. It’s understood that Max has to handle the situation by himself because Michael, Kyle, and Alex need to keep the situation from escalating by staying and protecting their girls.

Liz screams, “Help! Max help me!”

Max looses it completely rushing to Liz’s aid. Max runs to the van and puts his hand on the hood of the car effectively frying the vans electrical system. “Going somewhere Mark? I don’t think so, and most definitely not with my wife,” Max shouts. Max’s face is full of rage and concern for Liz. In this moment he realizes he could kill this guy and not even bat an eyelash at it.

********************

“Okay Steve that’s you’re name right? See this could’ve went down easy, but then you decided to prove what too much sun and steroids can do to your brain, and hit on our girls. Bad move dude, really bad decision, especially with us guys right here. Now your friend there, Mark is really upped the ante on this. I’m afraid were going to have to hurt you…bad,” smirks Kyle rubbing his hands together eagerly.

“You can’t be serious. You three guys and your girls take on me and my guys. Well, minus Mark of course, he’s busy with that little brunette of yours,” Steve smirks arrogantly.

“Steve you and your friends must not be men enough to find your own girls. Well I guess your just over compensating for other areas that you’re lacking in, right?” says Mystic clearly trying to piss him off bruising his over inflated male ego.

“Oh yeah baby, your with me. I’m going to teach you some respect. No bitch says that crap to me and gets away with it without getting my special treatment,” Steve says seething with anger he storms over to Mystic in three quick steps and grabs her with one hand by the throat.

********
“Now see, that was a really stupid move. That’s my woman. Okay your day just went from bad to worse. Yep, I’m so going to kick your ass just for starters,” shouts Kyle full of fury.

“Don’t worry Honey, I can handle this guy. He could never hold a candle to you Kyle,” Mystic says with Steve’s hand still around her throat and she smiles. This really confuses Steve. Mystic decides she’s got this big dumbass right where she wants him. “You really think your hot stuff and love the beach so much, well I think you should enjoy it more and put on a show for the ladies,” Mystic says cryptically. Mystic has something particular in mind to humiliate this jerk and stop him from bothering anyone again. She begins to focus and concentrates on using her powers summoning her powers that enable her to manipulate earth, wind, fire, and water. Mystic comes up with just the perfect thing to do to him, yet still not suspicious. She looks over and sees the tide coming in a little bit and notices the wet sand they happen to be standing in. Mystic summons the tide to her. The tide yields to her bidding and surrounds Steve’s feet and hers. Mystic takes a step back. Now, she summons the wind starting a gentle breeze that grows stronger and picks up the dry sand as it swirls around Steve. The sand gets in his eyes and he can’t see.

“What the … I can’t see,” Steve says wiping his eyes having no effect on helping him. Tears form from the sand irritating his eyes. The wind continues to swirl and intensifies at the same time he feels his feet sink a foot into the wet sand. He can’t move his feet. It’s as if the sand has manacles around his ankles anchoring him deeper into the wet sand. “Oh God, I think I’m in quick sand. What did you do to me bitch?” shouts Steve.

“Oh you think that’s something, just wait,” laughs Mystic. She enjoys not feeling Steve’s hand around her throat after making him sink into the sand. “Oh but Steve I wasn’t done with you yet. You seemed so big on being a big macho studly guy and you obviously want female attention, well it pays to advertise,” Mystic laughs. She focuses more closely on her powers doubling the winds around Steve, and suddenly his board shorts are gone revealing all to the world.

“Hey, why do I feel cold all the sudden?” asks Steve. He then touches his waist realizing his shorts are gone. “You bitch!” he shouts to Mystic.

“Well Steve under the circumstances I just have to say that I have standards and you just don’t measure up,” laughs Mystic. She walks away leaving Steve to his more appropriate public display. Mystic’s greeted by Isabel and Mystic joined laughter.

Steve screams, “Help, somebody, help me!”

A nearby female lifeguard hears his screams for help and runs toward the direction of the screams. She stops when she reaches Steve. “Oh you again Steve; so whose boyfriend did you manage to piss off this time? I suppose your idiot jerk friends are somewhere close by. She looks down at him then up. She begins to laugh hysterically at him.

“I need help, help me!” demands Steve.

“Oh you need help alright, but not mine. The female lifeguard points at him and laughs harder. I guess it’s true about body builders if you’re any indication. It looks like to me you’ve spent way too much time building up the wrong part of your body. Steve lunges towards the lifeguard as best he can still struggling to see and with his feet still stuck unmoving. He wraps his arms around her forcefully and she screams. He yells at her, hits her and tears one of her swimsuit straps. The beach patrol cop drives by and sees him assaulting the female lifeguard. The cop stops and approaches the guy with his hand on his gun holster. “Now let go of her,” warns the beach cop. Steve feeling rather humiliated complies angrily. The officer informs Steve he’s under arrest for assault, and cuffs him.

“Oh officer, he assaulted me too,” says Mystic showing his hand print left around her throat and neck.

“Do you wish to press charges too, Miss?” asks the beach cop.

“Not now. We got to get to my friend and his wife. One of this guys friends is trying to kidnap her. My friend went after him. Maybe you could do something about that guy too officer, and call for back up,” smiles Mystic.

“Is your friend the violent type, or armed?” asks the cop.

“No, but he’s really angry and worried about his wife and went to stop the guy from kidnapping her. She was screaming for my friend, her husband, to help her and rescue her from this guys creepy friend,” adds Mystic.

************************

“Now let go of my wife before I hurt you. Trust me, you don’t want to know what I can do to you for even laying a hand on her. Just let her go and I won’t hurt you,” warns Max.

“No way, buddy. She disrespected me and that I can’t allow. She must be something else. I’ll have to find out for myself,” grins Mark. Mark has Liz with him inside his van shoved against the passenger side with Mark holding Liz in a headlock keeping her from moving away from him. Liz’s eyes are filled with fear… fear for herself, her unborn twins, for Max and the others not wanting their powers used in public exposing who and what they are. Liz pleads with Max telepathically.

‘Max, save me and the twins. I don’t know just what this guy is fully capable of and I don’t want him to hurt the twins. Use your powers if you have to, but be careful not to be obvious about it, and please don’t kill him,’ telepaths Liz.

Max lunges for the van’s driver side door and uses his powers to open it. “Now let go of my wife…and I won’t hurt you,” states Max trying desperately to hold back his every instinct to blast this guy to kingdom come for even laying hands on his Liz.

“I think not Max, that’s your name right. No, see I got your wife. Wife, is that right? You two look like your high school students how can you be married?” asks Mark.

“We’ll we got married,” replies Max.

“Ah, you got her pregnant huh? Well, that’s encouraging to know that she does put out and is experienced. Liz, you’ve been holding out on me not sharing that bit of info,” Mark comments eyeing Liz like prey he’s about to devour.

Max once again makes a move and gets inside the van now sitting in the driver side turning to face Mark.

Max calmly focuses on Liz and not his own rage and takes a deep breath. “Okay Mark, if you think I’ll let you leave with my wife, think again. Secondly, I think you’ll find your van’s electrical system is now fried. In other words you’re dead in the water, so to speak, with no get away in sight,” Max informs Mark as he reaches for Liz.

“What? My van’s fine what are you talking about?” Steve questions disbelieving Max’s words.

Max grabs Liz’s hand attempting to pull her free from Mark’s grasp. Mark tightens his hold on Liz making it difficult for her to breathe.

“I don’t think so Max,” Mark says removing a knife from his pocket and holding it to Liz’s throat.

Max is about to use his powers to deliver a low level tightly focused blast at Mark’s hand holding the knife. Suddenly Mystic, Kyle, Michael and the others followed by a police officer appear beside Mark’s van. The police officer’s gun is drawn.

“Mark, drop the knife now! Let the lady and her husband out of the van. There’s no reason anyone has to be hurt!” says the police officer opening the passenger side door slowly and carefully. The officer has had run-ins with Mark and his friends before. Even Mark sees the futility of his situation now with no way of getting out of there and now with a cop with his gun drawn on him. He does the first intelligent thing he’s done all day.

“Okay, okay, I’m dropping the knife and letting go of the girl,” Mark says. Liz moves fast to get away from Mark and out of the van. Max wastes no time in rounding the van to meet her. Instinctively, Max takes Liz into his arms and holds her easing her fears. He gives her a gentle kiss while holding her tight and stroking her back soothingly.

“It’s okay now Liz, no one can hurt you. Did he hurt you or the twins?” Max’s voice sounds shakey full of worry and raw emotion. He fights to contain his emotions and fears unrealized. He is grateful that Liz is safe and in his arms where she belongs.

“I’m okay now that I’m with you. Just hold me Max,” Liz says feeling the warmth, love, and safety in Max’s arms. Max eagerly honors her wishes.

“Mark, get out of the van. You’re under arrest,” says the cop. The officer looks around inside the van seeing several empty beer cans and a pile of tickets, likely speeding tickets all of which are unpaid. Mark is escorted to a police vehicle. The arriving backup officer uses his radio to call it in and runs the plates on Marks van. The cop smiles at what police dispatch reveals. The police officer secures Mark in his vehicle and then shares some news with Max and the others, “Mark has a bench warrant out for him for all those unpaid speeding tickets and has a list of drunk and disorderly charges against him and even an assault charge. Mark’s been busy being a nuisance to society. Did you want to press charges Liz?” asks the police officer.

“No, we’re here with Uncle Cal on vacation and I just want to put this behind me,” says Liz with absolute certainty.

“Okay, have it your way. Mark’s going to spend a lot less time on the beach and spend his time likely behind bars. Oh by the way I had to call a tow truck for his van. Mark tried to tell me that you fried his electrical system on his van. This guy is some piece of work that’s for sure. Sorry, this happened to you nice kids. Try and put this behind you and enjoy the rest of your stay in California. Now, if you’ll excuse me I have some beach trash to remove,” says the police officer getting into his vehicle waving as he drives away.

Max let’s out a big sigh of relief, “Thank God that’s over and Liz is safe. Did any of those guys hurt any of you?” asks Max.

“We’ll that Steve guy got a little rough with Mystic, but she took care of him and our new cop friend arrested him. The cop had to call for another car to come and take away the other jerks.”

Maria, Mystic and Isabel stand by Liz and Max. “Are you really okay Chica?” asks a worried Maria.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a little scared and shook up, but I’m fine,” replies Liz with her head resting on Max’s shoulder.

“Liz, I don’t mean to sound insensitive here, but why didn’t you use your powers on the guy?” asks Kyle.

“I didn’t want to draw attention to us and I was really scared and too frightened to react. I know that sounds stupid huh?” replies Liz.

“No, not at all. This was something none of us saw coming and we were all caught off guard. You do realize that Max and the rest of us would do anything to protect you Liz. You are family to us all and we will always have your back. We kept in touch with Max via our connection and knew he could handle that guy. We had to deal with the others. Mystic got the cops attention and told him what happened with Liz right away,” says Michael sympathetically understanding what being frozen with fear is like from his abusive childhood experiences.

“Now that everyone that is near and dear to us is present and accounted for, let’s get something to eat. I’m hungry. Hey, I’m so deliriously happy that Liz is okay it’s my treat,” smiles Alex.

Maria laughs, “And to think he’s not the pregnant one around here and all he thinks about is food. It’s no wonder you’re not huge, Alex. You just said a little while ago you were full and couldn’t eat another bite.”

“Well, I do have to work at maintaining a body like mine, you know,” laughs Alex.

“Hey Alex’s buying! I’m suddenly very hungry,” says Michael.

“Yeah Alex, I hope you’ve got some serious cash on you because I’m suddenly feeling very hungry and I definitely want dessert too,” smiles Kyle.

“You know I’m with the guys on this one,” smiles Max.

“Hey, all I know is something chocolate and decadent had better be on the menu for dessert,” smiles Maria.

“I know what you mean Maria. After this I’m definitely up for a nice meal and a seriously wicked chocolate dessert. Chocolate always seems to help calm my frazzled nerves at times like this,” says Isabel.

“Amen to that Iz,” says Mystic.

“Cal, do you have any suggestions where to eat? After all, L.A is your town.” smiles Liz.

“I was thinking of a very private place I know of. I’ll call ahead and tell them to be expecting us straight away. I’m sorry this whole incident happened at the beach. I used my powers to get the police officer to drive by. I had to be careful to not let anything appear out of the ordinary. You guys are a challenge to protect. From now on take it easy on me, stay together. It’s difficult to protect all of you when the group is divided. If we didn’t have a crowded beach to contend with I could’ve used my powers more openly and stopped this sooner. I’m sorry kids any of this happened,” Cal says sincerely.

“Cal we all understand. We couldn’t use our powers openly either. Mystic used her powers; but in such a way that no one noticed too much of anything. That was funny Mystic, Max filled me in,” replies Liz with sympathetic smile. Maria and Isabel begin laughing uncontrollably as if sharing an inside joke.

“Okay you two. What’s so damn funny”, inquires Kyle.

“Oh nothing much. We just gave Mark and Steve a little something to remember us by before the cops hauled all of them away,” giggles Isabel.

“What? What did you do? This ought to be good, knowing Isabel and Maria,” comments Michael.

“One word…Tattoos. Steve’s tattoo is on his forehead and it reads “Tiny 1.” Mark’s forehead reads “Loser Bitch,” Isabel and Maria burst into laughter that is quickly joined by the others.

“Oh man, that’s a good one girls. Remind me to never get you two made at me. But more importantly I’m just glad that everything all worked out and that everyone is safe. Come on we have a dinner to attend. Oh and Alex you can keep your money, this one’s on me,” smiles Cal.

“Now, get me some food. This pregnant lady is hungry and I’m so up for that chocolate dessert, probably more than one,” laughs Liz.

Cal excuses himself and makes a few calls on his cell phone. He arranges for the limousine to pick them up. The limousine arrives and Cal helps the girls inside. The group of teens happily gets into the limousine and takes up Cal on his dinner offer.

Loves Awakening Revealed IIAU,CC,ADULT pt.35 p.7 - 30 Apr

Post by NorafanofMaxandLiz »

Hi Everyone!

I'm actually early today at posting. :D I'm not feeling so hot but I'm here with my story at least. I think this weeks part is sort of something for everyone. I think most of you will enjoy it. As always thank you for reading everyone, and thank you to those of you who do post your comments. It's all very much appreciated. Thanks! :D

Now on to your comments...

LoveIsForever- Hi :D Yeah you didn't like those creepy guys either, eh? I'd have been tempted to zap them one. It's a good thing I wasn't there. LOL!!! I'm sure this weeks part will be more enjoyable for you to read. Thanks for being a faithful reader of my story, it really means a lot to me. Take care and enjoy!

roswellian504- Hi~ I loved your comments last week. No worries there the gang is doing just fine. Things will be much easier for them this week. I'm sure you'll agree... Thanks for your always fun comments...

Cherie- Hey girlfriend~ Wow you went to the premiere in Texas and the one in Philly, I'm impressed! I really want to see this movie and meet Jason of course... It just never seems to workout for me to do it though. It's very depressing. But, I can be happy for you and others that are more fortunate than me. I'll just have to live vicariously through you when you go and meet Jason on these Roswellian excursions. Oh are you going to BAT this year? I haven't decided. Plus there'd be the issue of transportation for me. Oh well that's the story of my life. LOL!! Darn, why don't they have a west coast film festival for "SL" eh? I guess not too convienient.

I'm happy to hear you liked the last two parts you read. Yeah, the tatoos was sort of a stroke of evil brilliance, leave it to Isabel and Maria to come up with that one. Well, why not label the jerks, saves everybody the time and gives them an advance warning. It's a win win thing....LOL!!! I hope you'll enjoy this weeks part. Take care and keep sharing all your fun travel exploits with me. Remember, I'm living vicariously through you now, Take care.

AJK001- Hi~ Yeah, I know believe me the gang really wanted to use their powers on the jerks, but they had to be careful not to draw attention to themselves in doing so. Although, in the end they did kind of fudge the whole no using powers in the public thing. Look at what Mystic did to that one jerk. Not to mention Isabel and Maria giving the two guys tattoos. Plus Max did use his powers to stop the van from going anywhere by frying its electrical system. I guess they found creative ways to use them without drawing attention. Oh yes, I do read all of my feedback each week and reply to them like I am now. Thanks as always for reading and commenting on my story. It's always fun to read your thoughts and comments. Thanks again and take care

Now on with this week's new part...

Part 35

Everyone returns from their week long vacation in L.A. They enjoyed L.A., well most of their time there, except for their encounter with the beach trash steroid surfer types. Other than that a good time was had by all.

“Cal, thanks for all the fun things you put together for us to do and see while in L.A,” Liz says with the rest of the gang adding their thanks to Liz’s. Liz, Maria, Isabel, Mystic all give Cal hugs and a kiss on the cheek.

“Thanks Cal for that trip to Rodeo drive and the mini shopping spree you were generous enough to give us. I still can’t believe I shopped in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive,” shrieks Isabel excited that she and the other girls got to do that.

“Yeah Cal, thanks for the fabulous Louis Vuitton handbags,” says Maria as she grabs Cal and hugs him joyfully.

“Great Cal thanks a lot. Now our girls will expect us to buy them expensive designer things and from Rodeo drive no less,” says Michael rolling his eyes.

“Oh I didn’t see you and the guys complaining when Cal took you guys on an excursion to the Ducati Motor Cycle Dealership, while we went with Cal’s secretary,” adds Maria. The dealership was another item on Michael’s wish list of places to see. Cal indulged him, Michael and the guys who got to test drive one of the bikes. Cal gave them each a pair of expensive designer driving gloves and Ducati posters.

“Michael what’s so great about a stupid Ducati motor cycle anyways?” asks Isabel.

“Oh Isabel, you know designer labels of clothes and you don’t know about the Lamborghini of motor cycles; now that’s just tragic,” smirks Michael.

“Really? That nice eh?” replies Isabel.

“Let me put this in terms you ladies can appreciate. It’s ten times better than a day of shopping at Rodeo drive,” Michael states proudly enlisting the other guys support.

“He’s right Isabel, the Ducati is awesome,” says Kyle grinning from ear to ear. Max and Alex grin and nod in agreement.

“Whatever,” says Maria. She’s uninterested in hearing about the guys motor cycle test drive experience.
Cal’s limousine driver returns each of our couples safely to their homes and then drives back to Cal’s hotel where he’s staying at in Roswell.

“Honey, we did have fun in L.A. despite that one incident at the beach. It was so much fun going on the Universal Studio’s tour and checking out Disneyland. I think Michael was the biggest kid of all there. Michael can really surprise you sometimes seeing another side of him like that. I seem to recall Michael having a partner in crime going on some of the rides at Disneyland and wanting to go on the same ride again and again,” laughs Liz.

“Okay, so we did have fun going on the rides. Michael and I can get competitive sometimes,”
blushes Max.

“I can see that,” smiles Liz.

“Liz about what happened at the beach. You’re okay, right. I mean you’d tell me if there was anything wrong, right?” Max asks taking their suitcases upstairs to the bedroom to unpack.

“Yes, of course Max. I’d never hide anything from you. I’m okay with it really, okay,” Liz says standing on tip toe to give him a tender kiss.

“Okay, good. Look, Mom put our mail on the night stand,” Max blushes.

“I think she wanted to make sure we’d see it. I have a feeling they think we spend a lot of time in here,” laughs Liz.

“Oh God, did you have to say that. I don’t want to think of my mother thinking of us…you know like that,” replies Max embarrassed of such thoughts.

“Babe, stop it. You’re mom and dad have been married a long time. Something tells me that they have their own interesting stories on that front. Not to worry, I don’t want to know about them either,” Liz reassures.

“Thank goodness,” answers Max.

“Although…Just kidding Max,” giggles Liz.

“Hey look, your mom left a note stuck on the phone,” Max says opening up the sealed note.

“Oh, what does it say,” asks Liz.

Max laughs, “It says welcome home. Call your mothers we want to talk to you both and hear about the trip. Then after you’ve done that, we stocked some goodies in the fridge for the two of you. Now go, call us then eat. Love, Nancy and Diane.”

“Really, that’s sweet of them. Our moms really know us don’t they. Okay, let’s call them and fill them in on our trip, but let’s not go into too much detail about the beach incident or they’ll be over here scared out of their minds. Please Max,” Liz pleads.

“We’ll be careful to not mention it for now,” Max says as he holds Liz and kisses her. Max and Liz dutifully call their moms and talk with them about their trip minus the beach episode. Both of their moms enjoyed giving them some good spirited ribbing about them finding their note that was strategically placed where they knew they’d see it.

“Now that was embarrassing, they teased us mercilessly about finding their note right away,” blushes Liz.

“I guess we should get used to it Liz. We’re legendary for loving each other and enjoying married life and all its perks,” Max says wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

“Oh yeah, the perks are most definitely the best. I can never get enough of…those perks,” Liz flirts back.

“Liz eh, how about we take advantage of some of those perks right now,” Max says as he gently lowers Liz onto the bed and takes her in his arms.

“Max, what about unpacking our bags,” Liz playfully asks.

“Unpack later. Let’s see about those perks now,” Max says as his mouth covers hers with gently urged kisses that quickly heat things up. Their hands caress the others body freely enjoying the exploration soon growing tired of the barrier clothing provides. Max and Liz each use their powers to remedy that situation. Liz uses her powers to pull back the covers on their bed for them to climb inside. Their legs and sheets become a tangled in the wake of their passionate lovemaking. Suddenly, they hear a creek and the bed seemed to move. Max and Liz are completely oblivious to this as their lovemaking reaches new heights. They call out each others names in the height of their culminating passions peak. Liz and Max lay breathless in each others arms contented and relaxed.

“That was … Wow, some kind of welcome home,” says Liz.

“Yes, it was,” says Max smiling.

“Did you hear something make a creaking sound earlier?” Liz asks inquisitively.

“No, I sort of had other more pressing matters on my mind,” jokes Max.

“I didn’t mean that, silly,” teases Liz.

“I think that time we made the earth move,” Max says proudly.

Liz giggles, “Either that or we broke the bed again.”

Max says, “Never say I didn’t give it my all. I guess they just don’t make beds sturdy enough for hot alien love making,” beams Max.

“Apparently, they don’t make Max and Liz Evans tested and approved industrial strength bed frames,” teases Liz.

“No they don’t. Hmm… Maybe they should. I’m sure our friends would buy some,” laughs Max.

“Boy, will we ever get teased when they hear about this happening again,” Liz giggles just imagining their family’s reaction.

“Come on, after all that we need to get something to eat. You know recharge for round two later,” smirks Max.

“Max, you are so bad. And to think I used to see you as this really shy quiet type. Now I know and love the real Max Evans, and boy is he a stark contrast to what I used to think about you. Little did I know you were this incredible. I had a feeling all was good in all departments, but I definitely know now,” Liz smirks flirtatiously.

****************

“Michael it feels so great to be home and to sleep in our own bed again,” says Maria happy to be back home.

“Yeah, it does Blondie,” Michael sighs.

“Michael, we should probably think about unpacking,” Maria says trying to motivate herself into doing just that.

“Why, this is really organized for me? I’ll just keep doing that until I need to do laundry, then I’ll worry about unpacking, definitely not before. Let’s see what’s in the fridge Blondie,” Michael comments casually.

“Fine Michael, you talked me into putting off unpacking for another day. I wonder what’s in the fridge. I hope you can work wonders with odds and ends of leftovers,” Maria says just before she opens the refrigerator.

“Michael look, a note from my mom and Mrs. Evans. Okay, now that’s a little scary when moms double team you like that,” teases Maria.

“Let me see the note Maria,” insists Michael.

Michael reads the note, “Maria your mom and Mrs. Evans were concerned we’d get in tired and hungry so they restocked the fridge. Plus your mom made us enchiladas and left directions as to how long to reheat it, plus she says in the note there’s a Mexican salad in there too. Oh and some steamed vegetables. Amy wanted me to tell you to eat your veggies,” laughs Michael.

“Yeah that’s moms for ya. Oh, I’m sorry Michael, I didn’t mean to say anything to upset you,” Maria says wishing she didn’t just say that.

“No, you didn’t upset me Blondie. There’s another page attached. This note is from Diane Evans. She’s accepted me as her other son since she and Phillip were told. She tells me to eat my veggies too,” smirks Michael trying to hide his smile at Diane’s inclusion accepting him as her son as well.

“Aww, how sweet, Spaceboy. You’re first note from your Mom… I think we should frame it or put it in a memory book. You know Diane does think of you as Max and Isabel’s brother and her other son. She just wants to do those motherly kinds of things for you Michael. It’s really sweet. She’s just showing you that you’re her son and she loves you. So that’s your secret. It’s in your DNA. Just like Max has Liz under his spell. I’m completely under yours. It’s one of those alien things. It’s probably one of your powers you don’t know you have and it’s always on rendering me helpless to you,” teases Maria giving Michael a tender kiss.

“Maria, stop it. Let’s reheat the enchiladas and veggies, then go to bed. It’s late,” says Michael.

“Michael, I have a better idea…Let’s reheat everything and fix dinner plates and take them with us to bed. We can eat and watch TV in bed, maybe even catch the tonight show with Jay Leno,” says Maria grinning trying to be irresistible forcing him to give in.

“Oh okay, sounds good, Blondie we’ll have dinner in bed and watch TV tonight, just this once,” says Michael. He adds, “Culinary experiences are meant to be experienced in the dinning room.”

Maria smiles seductively, “True, culinary experiences are meant to be experienced in the dinning room, but not all experiences with food have to solely be in the dinning room or kitchen. Nothing wrong with a little creatively,” winks Maria.

“I think you’ve been spending too much time trying to get info out of Liz. You must’ve made her crack and spill it, eh?” laughs Michael.

“No, she still hasn’t said a word. Damn, that reminds me to double my efforts on her. Besides, I have ideas of my own you know Michael,” says Maria.

“Really?” Michael says just about to bite into his enchiladas.

“Anyways Spaceboy, hand me the remote. I think Leno has somebody really good on tonight,” says Maria tucking into her own dinner plate.

“Did you notice if you the moms left us anything for dessert?” asks Michael.

“No, but I’m sure we can think of something, Spaceboy,” Maria says coquettishly.

“Dessert is sounding more interesting by the second,” Michael says mesmerized by Maria’s beauty, warmth, and vitality.

“Well, it look’s like Leno can wait,” giggles Maria.

***********************

“Kyle, would you get out of the refrigerator long enough to help me with our bags. And don’t even think about making yourself a sandwich and vegging in front of the TV watching sports. Not until you help me first. Even then, I’m calling dibs on which sports channel we get to watch,” Mystic says firmly.

“Damn, she’s good. We’ve been home like 5 minutes and she knows exactly what I’ve been up to and was about to do,” smirks Kyle running a hand through his hair.

“Honey, I wasn’t doing that. Well, okay not exactly. I was making us both sandwiches so we could snack while watching whatever milady wants later. After, unpacking of course,” Kyle says with a dazzling smile.

“Well, okay. But I’m watching you Jock boy, and that cute butt of yours,” Mystic comments.

“Really, so you think my butt is cute,” Kyle replies.

“Always,” smiles Mystic appreciatively walking behind him she gives his butt a little pinch.

Kyle stares at her. “You didn’t just make a pass at me did you? I’m not that kind of guy you know. I’m not that easy okay,” states Kyle as if defending himself only to be answered by Mystics laughter.

“Kyle we’re bonded mates and we live together. You’ll have to do better than that,” teases Mystic.

“Well, I didn’t want you to only think of me as a piece of meat,” Kyle says innocently.

“You’re in a funny mood tonight. You know I love you inspite of yourself. Okay, I love your mind, your sense of humor and wit, those incredible eyes, and last but not least that incredible butt. Feel better now Jock boy,” asks Mystic.

Kyle left speechless by her very outgoing comments walks over to the front door of their apartment he shuts and locks the door. Kyle sets their luggage inside. Kyle pauses contemplating what he should do next. He walks over to Mystic stares at her for a second. Then Kyle cracks a cocky smile. In one swift move he throws her over his shoulder carrying her off to there bedroom. Mystic’s happy laughter fills the room of their simple but very happy apartment.

*******************

“Princess, I can carry those bags in. Just set them down and I’ll be right back to bring them in. I just need to unlock the apartment and bring in my lap top first,” smiles Alex.

“Alex, I’m not helpless. I can carry stuff too. It’s not like I’m pregnant like Liz remember,” says Isabel.

“I know I just like treating you like a Princess. I’m here and I can take care of bringing in heavy things. I wouldn’t want my Princess to get hurt,” says Alex.

“Alex, that’s so sweet of you. But I’ll carry my make up case if you don’t mind. You’re protective of your computers. Well, I’m protective of my makeup. I’ve taken years to perfect it,” states Isabel.

“Okay, you carry that then, the rest I’ll get. Princess, you don’t need that stuff. Isabel, you’re beautiful just the way that you are,” smiles Alex giving her a small peck on the lips.

Isabel sighs contentedly at the sweetness of Alex’s words. “Thank you Sweetie, I love you, but I’m still carrying my makeup case,” smiles Isabel. Isabel indeed carries her makeup case inside and goes to her bathroom to unpack her belongings in just the perfect meticulous place she keeps them. Isabel sees a note attached to Isabel’s favorite bath gel and scented candle. Isabel see’s her name and Alex’s on it. She recognizes her mother’s handwriting and smiles.

“Alex Sweetie, come here please. Look at what Mom left us,” says a blushing Isabel.

“What’s the problem? What did your mom leave, I’m sorry I couldn’t quite hear you a minute ago,” says Alex now standing in the bathroom doorway.

“My mom knows me so well. She knew I’d notice the note if it was in here. She says she and the other moms have been busy being little elves stocking everyone’s refrigerators for their return and even made a favorite dish or two waiting for us in the refrigerator to reheat and eat for dinner. Oh and it says we’re supposed to call my mom and your dad no matter what time it is when we get in,” smiles Isabel.

“Did she say what exactly that dish or two was that’s waiting for us in the fridge?” asks Alex playfully.

“No. Let’s call them; then we’ll eat, okay Sweetie,” winks Isabel. They call their parents and reassure them they’re fine and happy to be back home and vow to call them later to talk about their adventures in L.A. Alex and Isabel enjoy the prepared dinner they reheated.

“Alex, you know Mom did leave us that candle and bath gel. It would just be rude of us not to enjoy that too,” hints Isabel.

“Oh you can go ahead and take a nice hot bath and I’ll just wait for you and read in bed,” says Alex oblivious to the direction and intent of Isabel’s hint.

“No, Alex. I meant we should enjoy a bath together. Come on, I promise you won’t regret it,” says Isabel flirtatiously looking at him wetting her lips. She begins to seduce Alex with her eyes and lips while her hands work their magic unbuttoning his shirt. Isabel caresses his bare chest. “There now that’s a little better, isn’t it Sweetie,” Isabel says in a breathy seductive tone.

“Yeah, um about that bath… will do,” Alex manages between kisses. He quickly rids himself of his and Isabel’s remaining clothes. Isabel draws them a nice bath pouring an ample amount of her favorite warm vanilla sugar bubble bath. She then lights the candle and turns off the bathroom light. They get in the perfectly heated bath and sink in enjoying the warmth of the water relaxing them.

“You know Isabel, I think I’m at the bigger end. Yep, there’s more room down here with me,” smiles Alex.

“Oh well you won’t mind sharing with me,” Isabel says as she removes the clip holding her hair up in a bun. Her long blonde hair tumbles down gently. Alex finds himself even more in love with this incredible out of this world girl that’s abducted his willing heart.

“Alex, I heard you’re thoughts just now and I feel the same way about you too. I love you Alex. Let’s christen the bathtub. After all, why should Max and Liz have all the fun,” Isabel says flirtatiously rubbing her foot against Alex’s leg beside her.

“Absolutely, there’s nothing they can do that we can’t. Remember Max and Liz did give us that book, “The Karma Sutra.” I’ve been doing some reading…research actually, and I added a few post-it notes of my own. I, uh even have them memorized,” blushes Alex.

“Really, well I’m impressed. I love the way your mind works so in sync with mine. Face, it we were made for each other,” Isabel sighs while Alex takes her in his arms. He places her across his lap as he reins gentle sizzling kisses down her neck and onward.

“Isabel, you have a beautiful everything in my opinion, and you’re the one and only Princess in the universe for me,” Alex says tenderly and seals with a kiss.

The note from Diane sits on the bathroom vanity. The last line of Diane’s note reads, “Welcome back to Roswell kids. Enjoy a nice dinner and bath,” love Mom (Diane).

Everyone seems to be enjoying their private couples welcome home festivities this evening… Wow, now that’s what I call a very Roswellian welcome home ala Max and Liz.

Hi Everyone! I'm not sure who all out there is reading my little story but I just wanted to say thank you if you are reading it. Please feel free to stop in and leave your comments. I love reading people's comments on my story. It keeps me motivated to continue. To those of you who are mothers or know mothers be sure to have a lovely mothers day tomorrow and do something special. Take care all and thanks for reading.

Now on with the feedback....

LoveIsForever- Hi! Thanks so much for your comments. I'm kind of moving the plot along more now. I don't think I'll be writing a sequel to this one at least I don't think I will. I do have another story I'm working on in the wings. But I'm still thinking that one through and just beginning to flesh that story out so that's no where near ready to be seen on the board. I want to finish this one first. Before I begin posting that other story. I don't want to start stories then never finish them. That's always been a pet peeve of mine about fan fic writers. I can understand how that happens when you get another story in your head. I've decided to just write that one behind the scenes and focus mainly on writing this one and getting it completed rather than try and write both and post both each week. I admire those that can do that, but I can't. It's just too stressful of a prospect for me. I know my limitations. So, don't fear I'll finish this one first before you see me post the other. I won't neglect this one.

I'm glad you enjoyed last weeks part. The gang did enjoy themselves in L.A despite the incident with the jerky guys. Besides you have to admit Isabel and Maria did definitely get them, but good. Not to mention Mystic shaming that one guy. Yeah! Don't mess with the girls... Max was careful to keep his anger under control and not kill that one creep. Not that he didn't deserve it trying to take Liz and hurt her like that.

I'm glad that the gang didn't focus on that aspect solely and did manage to have fun. I think everyone was so relieved that everything worked out they were just happy to be with the one they love and appreciate how lucky they are to have what they have... love, friends, and family always there for them through thick and thin.... Lucky them.

Well of course they had to have their own private welcome home celebrations. The mom's know their kids too leaving them those notes in places they know they'd see them. LOL!!

I'm glad you enjoyed last weeks part. It's always a pleasure to read your comments. You always make me smile with the sections you quote and comment on. Thanks for doing in that it means a lot to me. Take care and have a great weekend~

roswellian504- Yep! Nothing says welcome like good ol' fashioned Lovin' Roswellian style.  Lucky them, insert envy.

Craig- My best friend and partner in crime on my Great Oz adventure. Thanks for posting that thread. I didn't think anyone would really care to read about it, but thanks for posting it. :D

AJK001- Hi! Thanks for reading and leaving your comments. About the note if you meant the link to my vacation notes... I hope it wasn't too boring. If that wasn't what you meant then, please disregard. Australia was awesome and I'm definitely going back. :D I hope this weeks part is up to par.... Enjoy and take care.

Part 36

“Ugh, I’m not getting out of this bed,” states Liz adamantly. “I don’t care what time the stupid alarm clock says,” grumbles Liz.

“Come on Babe, you have to get up it’s our first day back at school. We have to go, besides I’ve made breakfast,” Max says sitting beside her on the bed coaxing her awake with a kisses and a tickle fight.

“Max, stop it! That’s no fare, you know all my ticklish spots,” Liz’s squeals erupt into laughter.

“Liz come on Honey, get up. I made breakfast for us and everything. Please get up. I want to make sure you eat something decent before school today,” urges Max.

“Okay, I surrender. No more tickling though, truce?” giggles Liz.

“Now that’s what I like to hear, you’re willingness to always surrender to me,” teases Max.

“Okay Tarzan, but if you start calling me Jane we might just have an issue,” replies Liz.

“Oh so I should get rid of the loin cloth you gave me then, eh?” jokes Max.

“Don’t you dare! I love that loin cloth and you know it. Perhaps we’ll need to negotiate that over breakfast, but the loin cloth stays. There will be no throwing out of that particularly cherished piece of your clothing, okay,” warns Liz wagging her finger at him.

Liz gets out of bed allowing the sheet that was covering her to cascade down onto the floor. Liz looks over her shoulder back at him and smiles. She takes in his loving gaze at her. “We’ll are you going to stare at me in my birthday suit or you going to help me wash my back in the shower. There’s room for two you know,” winks Liz disappearing into the bathroom leaving Max dumbstruck for a moment. Max finally emerges from the sexual fog realizing what Liz said to him. He joins her in the shower in short order.

A short while later Max and Liz make it down stairs for breakfast. “It’s a good thing we both got up early today,” Liz says looking at the clock.

“I know, I thought I’d never get you out of bed, not that I’m complaining mind you,” smirks Max.

Liz smiles, “Like I said it’s a good thing we got up early. I’m hungry after our usual routine, so what’s for breakfast,” Liz asks as she wraps her arms around him from behind and bestows a few tender kisses on his neck.

“Liz that’s not going to help us to get to school on time,” laughs Max.

“Well, so what’s your point, Max,” Liz says pulling away from him and gives a playful swat on his butt.

“Hey! What’s that for?” asks Max, shocked from Liz’s playful swat.

“Just because I wanted to, Tarzan,” Liz smiles the changes the subject. “So, what’s my favorite husband going to feed me for breakfast today,” asks Liz.

“Boy, you’re in a playful and silly mood today aren’t you? What do you mean favorite husband? You have another husband I don’t know about somewhere,” says Max opening cupboards and looking under things for this other husband, in a teasing manner.

“Well, you are my one and only favorite, why bother with anyone else. Honey, just chalk it up to being one very contented soul mate with pregnancy hormones. I think it stimulates my normal appetite and I don’t just mean for food,” smirks Liz. She picks up her toast and begins to butter it then looks at Max and licks the knife suggestively.

“Really, now who’s not playing fair,” asks Max dropping his toast just as he was about to take a bite. “We have to be to school in 45 minutes, and you still have to finish your breakfast. I worry you’ll starting those feinting spells again,” reminds Max. Max tries to be mindful of this even though he’s momentarily distracted by Liz’s suggestive playfulness once again. Max thinks to himself, ‘damn school. There’s always later.’

Liz smiles, “I heard that Max and I fully plan on taking you up on that, later. Now as much as I hate to admit it you’re right. We really should get to school, Damnit anyways!”

“Liz! You never swear,” says Max shocked by her comment.

“Well, let’s see what happens when your body gets over loaded with crazy hormones that take over,” says Liz.

“I’m sorry Honey, I didn’t mean to say anything to upset you,” says Max trying to calm her.

“No, it’s me that’s sorry. I didn’t mean to snap at you like that Babe,” Liz apologizes.

“Let’s just not worry about it okay. I love you no matter what. This is a big learning experience for us both. We’ll just learn about pregnancy as we go. I promise not to take offense at anything grumpy you say. On one condition, that we always kiss and make up okay, deal?” smiles Max.

“It’s a deal. You know we should get going before my husband comes home and finds us in our love nest. So, off to school for us both then,” teases Liz.

“Hey, do you think your husband and I could work out a schedule maybe share you?” replies a teasing Max.

“Hmm… I’ll ask him and get back to you on that, Lover,” winks Liz. She kisses Max to seal her playful words with a searing kiss.

“Okay, we’d better leave now, or I’ll carry you back to our bed and we’ll really be late and in trouble at school. Imagine writing that excuse to the principal... ‘Dear Principal Smith, Please forgive Liz and my lateness we were…uh fulfilling our marital duties… We’ll make arrangement to pick up our assignments from our teachers. Sincerely, Max and Liz Evans, West Roswell High’s resident happy newlyweds,’ jokes Max.

“Oh yeah that would go over really well. And so discreet of you too Max,” laughs Liz. They finally gather their things and leave in time to meet everyone before school.

Max and Liz arrive at school wrapped up in their own conversation teasing each other about writing a note for the principal, and laughing hysterically and blushing.

“Okay, what’s so funny, you two?” ask Maria carefully eyeing Max and Liz.

“Oh nothing Maria, it’s just an inside joke between husband and wife,” adds Liz raising a finger to Max’s lips in warning. “Not a word, Lover,” Liz grins.

“Oh now I know, I want to know what that was all about. Not spilling either of you, huh, damn,” teases Maria snapping her fingers.

“Maria, please do not press this with them. I really don’t want to know. Do you Michael or Alex?” asks Isabel hoping for their chorus of support in silencing Maria’s endless pursuit of Max and Liz details.

“Thank you Isabel,” says Max and Liz.

“Oh yeah feel free to clam up on those kinds of details,” says Michael with Alex’s agreement.

“Hey! Why didn’t anyone include me or Mystic in this? I for one want to know what they’ve been up to. I wouldn’t mind sneaking a peak at their copy of the Karma Sutra just to see where they’re at. Well, I would?” says Kyle unapologetically. Everyone just laughs, but no one laughed as loud as Max and Liz did.

“Kyle! I can’t believe you asked them that.” Mystic exclaims promptly elbowing him in the ribs.

“Ouch! Honey, that hurt,” says Kyle.

“Suck it up Kyle. Call it tough Love,” jokes Mystic.

“Mystic, you and Kyle are always such a riot. Girlfriend, I love the way you know just how to keep Kyle in line. Care to share? I could use all the tips I can get with Michael Guerin as my bonded mate,” comments Maria.

“Oh no, no letting the women compare notes on that. Max, some help here El Presidente. You have to veto that action fast,” pleads Kyle.

“Yeah, Max, I think Michael and I definitely support Kyle on this one,” says Alex earning him a half hearted glare from Isabel.

“He’s right we can’t let the women compare notes on how to yank the leash,” says Michael. Maria glares at him and punches him in the arm. Michael smiles secretly amused by the innocuous flecks in Maria’s emerald eyes change and ignite with a fiery glare solely aimed at him. “What, what did I say now,” smirks Michael.

“Michael, dude, you’re either awfully brave or just stupid considering that you’re deep in hostile territory right now. My money is on the latter one,” says Kyle with a big smart ass grin on his face. He’s just happy he’s out of the dog house for the moment with Mystic.

“Alex, buddy can I get break here,” asks Michael.

“Michael, as much as I’d like to help you out right now I have to pass. I fear Isabel’s wrath more than yours at the moment, sorry dude,” confesses Alex.

“Max what about you, come on Bro,” solicits Michael hopefully.

“Michael, I think you sort of over embellished the situation a bit. I think it might be a good idea to wave the white flag just for your own safety,” says Max adding a mixture of truth and humor to his comments automatically diffusing the tension.

“Yeah you’re right. It could mean I’d wind up on your couch again, and I really don’t want to be apart of that experience again anytime soon. Okay, listen up; I’m sorry to Maria and the ladies in our group that I most likely ticked off. Okay is that better now?” Michael asks.

“Yes, it is. Thank you Michael,” says Liz offering him a hug.

“See my favorite sister-in-law still likes and talks to me,” says Michael.

“Michael, you’d better not push it with Maria, okay. Just tell Maria you are sorry and then offer to make dinner tonight to make it up to her,” whispers Liz into his ear as she stands on tip toes.

“You think that will work?” replies Michael whispering into Liz’s ear.
“I know it will work, Michael. Talk to me later at lunch, I’ll have some notes for you to explain,” replies Liz in returned whispers.

“I will. Thanks Liz,” Michael hugs her.

“Bro, you’d better not be whispering sweet nothings into my wife’s ear or we might have a problem,” Max says in mock stern tone.

“Max, you know better than that, Michael’s family. I’m just going to help him with something, nothing for you to worry about,” winks Liz.

“I knew that! I was just giving you two a bad time,” teases Max.

“All right now that Michael’s apologized, it’s time to get going to class. We’ll talk later,” Liz reminds everyone about school.

“Yeah sure, see you guys later,” agrees everyone.

During the last class period of the day, each of the gang received a note for them to meet in the Principal’s office regarding Uncle Cal and summer school arrangements. “Hi guys. I take it we all got the same note,” states Max with Liz at his side.

“Yeah, did anyone know about this meeting, or did I forget something?” asks Isabel.

“I did ask Cal to help us put together summer school plan for us so we could graduate early. Remember, I mentioned that a while ago. Cal hasn’t mentioned anything to us about scheduling a meeting today though. Maybe Cal was waiting until he had everything figured out and ready to present to us and the principal all at once,” replies Liz with a shrug.

“Yeah, I remember now that you mention it,” comments Isabel.

“Well at least misery loves company and we’ll all be in it together,” Kyle adds sarcastically.

“True. I was hoping for fun summer vacation like all the rest, I conveniently forgot about that group decision we all talked about a while back. Oh well at least we’ll be with those nearest and dearest to us,” sighs Alex.

Michael adds, “Say the part again about us graduating early if we go to summer school and get ahead enough to graduate early. I’m definitely on board with that. I want out of high school as soon as possible. I’m fine with summer school. I might need some tutoring in some things, but I’m sure you guys would be willing to help me.”

“Oh my God, he’s lost it! Michael Guerin, okay with summer school. Did the Earth just fall off its axis or what? Spaceboy, are you feeling all right? Max, I think he might need help,” Maria says shocked and concerned by Michael’s good attitude about summer school.
Cal enters the Principal’s office. “Hello Mr. Smith and kids. Now that we’re all here, we can talk about the summer school plan that I’ve been working out with Mr. Smith’s help. I didn’t want to mention it to you until most of the details had been ironed out. I’m sure you’ll bring up questions and comments that can be useful and might make the plan change. Let’s discuss this and see what needs to be changed to make things more livable for everyone,” states Cal. He smiles very casually to help ease the surprise on the looks of the teen’s faces.

After the group discussion in the principal’s office everyone agreed upon a schedule that would be much like they have during regular session of school. Cal offered to hire a tutor if anyone felt they needed. Michael almost took him up on it, but Liz and the others said they’d take care of tutoring Michael.

“Absolutely, I think all of us tutoring the others in our best subjects is a great idea. Tutoring Michael provides a better option than an outside tutor considering Michael’s loveable charm and temperament might be too mean to inflict on an outsider. Besides we’re all used to his moods and attitudes. I of course know best how to handle him,” Maria grins as if to pat herself on the back.

“Hey, so you’re saying I’m difficult then? Really, try looking in the mirror Blondie,” replies Michael.

Kyle rolls his eyes, “All right you two enough with the Michael and Maria style foreplay, save it okay.”

“I agree with Kyle. At least wait until my lunch digests first guys,” states Alex with a smirk receiving a high five from Kyle.

“All right, that’s quite enough. Kyle and Alex don’t start something with Michael and Maria right now okay,” pleads Max.

Liz quickly changes the subject. “I know these schedules are going to be demanding but we’ll be okay, since we won’t be working this summer. Instead we’ll be concentrating most of our efforts on getting our required course curricula met for early graduation. This of course doesn’t rule out much needed study break weekends at times,” suggests Liz smiling at everyone.

“Okay, now there’s a plan I can focus on,” Kyle jokes.

“Kyle!” glares Mystic.

“Hey, don’t be angry. I promise to put a very serious effort into studying for the sole purpose of getting out of high school and never seeing Principal Smith’s face again. I’m motivated, okay,” states Kyle.

Mystic looks at the calendar on the wall and comments, “You know guys there’s not a lot of school left until it lets out for the summer. We can do summer school. We’ll just have to help each other out and keep everyone’s spirits lifted.”

Cal adds, “See, that’s the spirit. You kids can definitely do this and if you need that tutor just let me know. I might be able to get someone from the colony, if you change your minds.”

“Thanks Cal, we’ll keep that in mind,” Michael says.

“Well, if that’s everything needed to be discussed, I’d like to get home and start on home work,” suggests Liz.

“That’s all I wanted to discuss with everyone. I thought it would be good to discuss the plan so we can gear up for summer school. I’m sure the time will go by fast,” reassures Cal.

“Thanks for working on that for us. Now we can plan our summer schedules with that in mind,” adds Max. Okay gang, I suppose we should all go home and work on home work,” Liz says with everyone in agreement.

“Oh joy, homework here I come,” says Kyle sarcastically. The gang all laughs at his comment and all go off into their separate directions home, to begin their homework.

Hi :D

Hey all, it's nice to hear from you all. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment it really means a lot to me. You know the funny thing about writing this story. The worse I feel in my own life the better things get for the characters I know and love. So, I hope you enjoy this new part it's sort of a transition in the story. I tried to write a transition. First here's my feed back replies.
LoveIsForever- Hi thanks for your pm. I hope you have fun on your trip. Thanks always for feed back and quotes that always make me smile. Take care.

roswellian504- Yeah damn how those kinds of things just but in, huh...Like you said they can graduate early. So, that's a plus. I'm just moving things along now... Thanks for your comments

AJK001- I'm glad you liked reading about my trip to Australia.
Yeah the only thing motivating Kyle about summer school is graduating early. He's anxious to put high school behind him. Max, Liz,and the others will be, it's just another big change to get used to in their lives. Our gang is up to the challenge. Take care and thanks for reading and all your great comments.

buffyrosfan- Hi :D Welcome if I haven't said so before. It's always great to receive feed back and even better when I get to hear from someone new. Thank you for the compliments it's great to know you're reading my story and enjoying it. Thanks for reading and popping in to comment. I really appreciate it, thanks so much.

Grace52373- Hi Grace! :D Welcome. THanks for delurking and letting me know you're enjoying my story, and that you read the previous one as well. Wow!!! Thanks for reading my stories it really helps me pull it together to keep writing and share my love of Roswell and the characters that seem so real to me after knowing them for so long. Thanks for delurking and leaving your comments Grace. I really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks a bunch! :D

Cherie- Hey girlfriend! :D Wow, impressive a couple of my very favorite authors you were with visiting in Santa Barbara, lucky you. I bet you did have a blast. I've never met any of them in person, but I'm sure they're all great ladies and the life of the party. I recent went to Jason's FF and saw some pic's of him from D-War. Oh My Hot Sauce, I was spellbound and okay yes drooling too. LOL!!! I wonder if they'll premiere that on the West Coast. I recall reading that they were thinking of October 2005 but who know's that's quite a ways off. One of these days assuming I'm still around I'd love to meet Jason. Everytime I want to try it something always happens so that I can't. But if you hear anything before I do about a D-WAR Premiere or any new films etc of Jason's let me know. I'm always interested.

I'm glad you liked that last two parts. I'm kind of transitioning things along or at least making an attempt at it. Take care and keep in touch!

Anyways, here it is....

Part 37

This is where we left off last time…..

The gang all laughs at his comment and all go off into their separate directions home, to begin their home work.

*******************

“Guess what this weekend is.” says Maria.

“I have no idea, Blondie. Just tell me and then we’ll both know,” Michael says gruffly.

“It’s Mother’s Day. We should plan something for a nice family get together for the moms. Come on Michael, please. Don’t you think we should do something nice for all of our moms and our very own mom-to-be, Liz,” Maria says excitedly and rambles on.

“Yeah, you’re right we should call everyone and see what everyone else thinks,” replies Michael with a sigh already exhausted from her talking ninety miles a minute and bouncing up and down in her seat. Michael smiles at Maria. “You know what Blondie, you really love doing things for the people that you love and care about don’t you,” Michael adds.
Maria grabs her cell phone and begins calling everyone and telling them of her plan. “Hi Iz, I just wanted to talk to you about doing something special for Liz on Mother’s Day. I know she’s a mom-to-be, but still that counts. So, any ideas?” asks Maria.

“Oh that sounds great. We are going to do a big family get together for Mother’s Day since we are kind of knee deep in moms. I think if we give Liz a little something special that would be great. I know our moms, Max, Michael, Alex, Kyle and Mystic would all love to be in on it. Just let me think on this for a few minutes and I’ll call you back. Don’t worry about telling Mystic and Kyle or Alex. I’ll tell them. They’re all next door at Kyle and Mystic’s apartment watching something on ESPN. It might be trickier trying to talk to Max without Liz knowing about it,” Isabel says thinking up a plan.

“Okay, Iz that sounds great. You know how to reach me and Spaceboy. Talk to you in a little while. Bye girlfriend,” says Maria.

“So what did my sister say, Maria?” asks Michael.

“Nothing just yet, but not to worry, our master planning Nazi is on top of it and will call me back in a few minutes. Isabel’s on the job now. How about you and I think of something to do until Isabel calls us back? Preferably, involving no homework, at least not the kind from school,” states Maria. She smiles at Michael with sparkles of sexy playfulness in her eyes and smile.

Isabel hangs up the phone from Maria’s call and is already thinking of an appropriate Mother’s Day theme for this family get together she’s just been told about. “Mystic, I need your help. We need to plan something for the moms for Mother’s Day. I was thinking it would be nice to do a little something nice for Liz including her in this first Mother’s Day. What do you think?” asks Isabel.

“I think that sounds great, just one thing. I don’t see how you can plan this in secret from the moms including Liz. I mean we have to get them all together at the same place and time. That part might be tricky,” replies Mystic.

“Definitely, count me and Kyle in on this, okay. Right, Honey,” says Mystic recruiting Kyle to the cause.

“Yeah, sure Mystic. Wait! What did I just agree to?” asks Kyle with a cautious and curious look on his handsome face. Mystic and Isabel fill Kyle in on the details as they explain to Alex at the same time earning the guys full cooperation.

“Hey you know me, anything for the moms and our Liz. They’re all great ladies I’m happy to know and have in my life,” comments Alex.

“What a suck up. You’re just trying to suck up to Isabel again,” teases Kyle. Isabel and Mystic both glare at Kyle. “Yikes! I was kidding of course Iz you know that, right?” Kyle says with a nervous laugh.

Alex smiles broadly like a Cheshire cat before offering his next comment. “I have a suggestion. If you want to keep this a surprise for the moms then we’ll need inside help. We’ll need to recruit the dad’s help. The dads can help us think of a reason to get them all together for the surprise. Now, I’d suggest talking to Mr. Parker or Michael about the food and goodies situation that usually is incorporated at these family gatherings,” says Alex patting his non existent stomach that seems to be the bottomless pit of appetites.

“That’s a great idea Sweetie,” smiles Isabel.

“I’m with Alex on that. We should really make sure all the requests and food arrangements are taken care of right, Alex? I’m sure there are a few of all the mom’s favorite foods there, not to mention some of ours,” winks Kyle.

“Yep, what Kyle means is…we’ll talk to Michael and Mr. Parker and make the arrangements,” frowns Alex. Alex whispers to Kyle, “What are you doing? Trying to get me in trouble? Just don’t okay. If I get in trouble I’m taking you with me buddy,” warns Alex.

“I said I’d help you with talking to Mr. Parker and Michael, okay. Don’t stress over it dude,” states Kyle calming Alex’s slightly ruffled feathers.

Maria’s cell phone rings. “Well, that didn’t take her long,” says Maria before answering her phone. “Hi Iz, what did you come up with so far as a plan?” asks Maria smiling and knowing that Isabel’s probably mentally picking out color scheme and décor by now.

“Hi Maria, I was thinking we should have this gathering at my parents house. It’s big enough for the entire family. You’ll need to call Amy and the Sheriff and get them here for the day. I can take care of talking to Dad and coming up with some kind of reason to get everyone over here. We can tell them that I’m calling a family meeting and inviting all the parents. We’ll have to let Liz in on the idea of a Mother’s Day get together for the moms, but we don’t want her to know that this is for her too. We’ll need Liz to talk to her mom about coming over, or we could get Max to do it. I think I’ll have to teleconference or dream walk Max about our plans so far. I don’t want Liz to know we are including her in the celebration. Can you talk to Michael about maybe making one of his fabulous desserts or something? Oh, that reminds me call Mr. Parker. What do you think about a nice floral arrangement of yellow and salmon pink roses to match the table cloths I have in mind?” says Isabel finally pausing to take a breath and listen to Maria’s response.

Maria laughs, “That’s our Izzy already planning things right down to the floral arrangements and table cloths. Seriously, you’re amazing how you do that. It sounds great so far. Yes, I’ll talk to Spaceboy about making something yummy and decadent. Of course he’ll do it. With us both working on him, it’s a done deal. Okay, sounds great. I’ll call Mom and Jim about coming over Sunday to the Evan’s house. I’ll tell them I have a family announcement to make. That’ll get them here, no doubt. I’ll have to reassure Mom I’m not pregnant, at least not yet. Yes, Michael’s jaw has dropped to the floor right now. Yeah, I’ll call you later Iz, thanks for your help. Talk to you later girlfriend, bye,” says Maria amused by Michael’s shocked expression on his face.

“You’re not…not pregnant are you?” stutters a stunned Michael.

“Nah, not yet, Spaceboy. I had to think of something to get my mom and Jim here for this Sunday for the Mother’s Day party we’re throwing for our moms. Michael, if I were pregnant I’d tell you straight up, not let you over hear me casually mentioning it to your sister over the phone. So, no I’m not pregnant, but the night is young Spaceboy, so take your best shot,” says Maria with equal parts mischief and flirting siren.

“Maria, one of these days you’re going to be the death of me,” sighs Michael with snicker.

“Oh really, well what a way to go, huh Spaceboy?” teases Maria.

“Okay woman, enough flirting with fire,” says Michael swiftly throwing the giggling Maria over his shoulder and stalking off in the general direction of their bedroom. Michael deposits Maria on the bed and kisses her breathless. He stops suddenly and turns and leaves the room. Michael walks back into the kitchen searching for Maria’s cell phone left on the counter. He finds it and switches it to voice mail and turns the ringer off. “No more interruptions Izzy, at least not tonight,” says Michael feeling victorious that for once he managed to quiet both Maria and his sister.

“Michael you had better get your alien hybrid butt in here now,” states Maria sounding slightly miffed at Michael for stopping his seduction.

This of course makes Michael grin at the thought of getting his spirited Blondie upset with the gold flecks in her emerald eyes glowing as if on fire. Michael enters their bedroom. “What? What did I do now?” says Michael incapable of wiping the smile off of his face. He sees the look on her face, a combination of temptress and spitfire joined into one unique beautiful challenging package.

******

“Max do you think we can really handle summer school. I was sort of hoping for some alone time just the two of us this summer,” Liz says her voice sounding fragile and emotional.

“Babe, of course we can arrange for a weekend to ourselves or something. It’ll be okay, please don’t be upset. We’re together forever remember, no matter what,” Max states. Max takes her in his arms, holds and caresses her. Max lovingly strokes Liz’s hair and back soothing her emotional state. Max realizes this is more than likely just her chaotic pregnancy hormones again and chooses to comfort Liz as best he can calm her down.

“I’m sorry to get all weepy on you. It’s just I really need to be with you right now. I was just thinking of all our time being spent studying and cramming for summer school. It is really upsetting for me to even think about that right now. I’ll be okay. I’m just having an emotional day with all these stupid pregnancy hormones going crazy inside me. I’m sorry Max,” Liz says clutching onto him tightly as though if she were to let go he’d vanish like a dream.

“Liz I’m not going anywhere without you by my side. You mean everything to me. Pregnancy hormones or not, I’ll love you no matter what okay,” says Max looking into her warm loving brown eyes letting their eyes speak their own unspoken words of love and devotion.

“Max, I feel like I’d better lie down. My getting upset is taking its toll on me. Will you hold me while I rest?” Liz feels particularly overwhelmed and vulnerable right now, she seeks comfort in her one true safe haven of never ending love and comfort found in the warm shelter of Max’s arms.

“Yeah sure, come here we’ll both lie down and rest,” Max says grabbing a quilt from the foot of their bed and covers up Liz. He then crawls in beside her holding her close. After a short time both fall asleep with their hands joined and legs entwined with the others.

Meanwhile Isabel attempts to dream walk Arianna. Finally with success she does reach her birth mother, Arianna and asks for her to dream walk Liz shortly and try to calm her frazzled nerves about taking on the task of summer school. “Mother, it is good to see you even in a dream walk. I wish you could be here with all of us. Liz is really feeling upset and overwhelmed right now. We all are going to summer school so we can graduate early our senior year. We all plan on helping each other; and Cal has even offered to get us tutors if needed. I think Liz is just feeling a little insecure and feeling like school might be taking time away from her and Max right now. Liz has been really emotional lately over almost nothing. Can you please dream walk her and reassure Liz this is all normal. She always enjoys visits from you and the talks you two have. So, Mother will you dream walk Liz?” asks Isabel.

“Yes, of course I’ll dream walk my lovely daughter-in-law. I think Liz is experiencing the normal human pregnancy hormonal fluctuations with the added factor of being a hybrid which makes the symptoms more intense as it seems in her case. Everything is more intense with alien hormones than human so I’m told by the colonists doctors. I’ve been keeping tabs on how Liz is doing. They tell me she is the picture of a healthy pregnancy. Perhaps she might need some medical reassurance. Maybe a trip to the colony would also ease any concerns she might have about the babies and this pregnancy. I have a feeling that Liz might have some questions that need to be answered. I will dream walk her and talk with her. She’ll be fine Isabel. This is all normal for hybrid pregnancies from what I’m told. While I’m dream walking her, I’ll have Liz’s mind distracted enough for you to dream walk Max about your plans,” says Arianna with a glint of mischief in her eyes.

“Mother, how did you know about that?” Isabel asks shocked that Arianna knew about that.

“Isabel, as a mother I have an extreme hypersensitivity to my children and what’s going on with them especially since we’ve all linked with the granolith some time ago. I believe there is an earth saying called mother’s intuition. Yes, I know about the part you’re planning along with Maria and the others. It is a wonderful idea. I also knew about Liz’s emotional state and was planning on contacting her. You have a good heart Isabel. Diane and Phillip have done well raising you and Max. I do regret that they didn’t get to raise your brother Michael as well. I take comfort in the fact that all my children are reunited and with the ones that they love,” Arianna says with a tearful smile.

“No mother, that’s not true. Not everyone we love is here with us. You’re not here with us,” says Isabel.

“I know my child. I can not be there and I regret that, however, I can visit in dream walks or arranging a meeting with the granolith on occasion. I am with all of you always. Be well and send everyone my love,” says Arianna as her image begins to fade from Isabel’s dream pulling through the layers of sleep into consciousness.

Isabel awakens to find Alex by her side holding her, looking at her, and wiping the single bitter sweet tear from Isabel’s eye.

“How did it go with Arianna? Did you make contact with her?” asks Alex.

“Yes, I talked to her. She’s really amazing. Mother already knew about the reasons I contacted her. She said it was her mother’s intuition at work,” smiles Isabel.

“Does that surprise you? I mean if your mother is anything like you. I’m sure Arianna’s full of surprises she just doesn’t like to let too many people realize that about her, sound familiar? Yeah, you are your mother’s daughter all right,” smiles Alex. Isabel blushes at Alex’s comments.

“Alex are you sure you didn’t tap into my dream walk with my mother?” replies a teasing Isabel.
“Mother agreed to dream walk Liz and reassure her while I dream walk Max. I could sense they were asleep and thought now was a good time to try this,” admits Isabel.

“You should get busy and dream walk Max before your mother is finished. You know Liz and Max’s connection is really intense. If she’s not distracted with a dream walk she’ll probably tap into Max’s dream walk and find out about everything,” says Alex.

“I know, could you just hold me while I do this. Okay Sweetie,” Isabel requests.

“Sure Princess, anything for you,” smiles Alex wrapping his arms around Isabel while she wills herself and drifts off to sleep. She reaches out to Max’s conscience and begins dream walking him finding that familiar sibling connection spark to life.

“Isabel? Why are you here dream walking me? What is this all about Iz?” asks Max surprised and concerned.

“Max calm down. I’m not here to spy on your X rated dreams I’m assuming you have about you and Liz. I’m here to talk to you without Liz knowing about it. Maria and I are planning a Mother’s Day get together for all the moms in our lives. We thought since Liz is a mom-to-be it would be nice to do something special and include Liz. What do you think? We really need your help to not let her catch on that we are including her. Maria thought it would be great to round up the entire family at Mom and Dad’s this Sunday. Maria and I are handling a lot of the details but we do need your help, so what do you think Max?” Isabel asks excitedly hoping for his support.

“Isabel that’s a great idea and all the moms will love spending the day enjoying their families. So, besides keeping Liz busy anything else I can help with? I’d like to suggest that it might be easier to include Liz on the helping with the other moms and just not mention anything that she’s included in this. That way it will be much easier,” suggests Max.

“Great so we can count on your help then. I’ll tell Maria, Mystic and the guys. Oh and I dream walked Arianna earlier. She’s dream walking Liz right now. I was concerned about Liz. She seemed upset earlier even though she tried to hide it. I dream walked our mother to see if she could dream walk Liz and help her with the emotions overload she’s experiencing. Mother assured me it was all normal just pregnancy hormones, but more intense with the hybrid factor in the mix. She’s actually progressing faster than one would in a human pregnancy so everything hormone wise is way more intense as well. It’ll be okay. Mother suggested that if we are concerned, we could take Liz to the colony. The doctors there can help. Mother also mentioned that she’s aware of what’s going on with all of us. I guess she still keeps an eye on us, but she called it mother’s intuition. It’s nice to know she’s still watching over us even from someplace so far away,” sighs Isabel.

“Thanks Iz for trying to make this Mother’s Day extra special for Liz and other moms. I know you wish Arianna could be there too, but in her own way she is. Our mother is always watching over us just like you mentioned. Think of it this way Iz, we’re so lucky to have each other, our bonded mates, friends, and the moms that know about us and love us. Maybe one day it might be possible for Arianna to visit us, until then we always have dream walks and possible prearranged meetings if the Granolith permits,” says Max standing next to his sister in the dream plane putting a hand of comfort on her should.

“I know Max we are lucky in so many ways. I just can’t help but wish there was a way for our mother to be here with us if only for a real in the flesh visit,” sighs Isabel.

“Okay so fill me in on the details you have planned so far,” states Max. Isabel quickly fills Max in on her plans so far and enlists his help with the parents and Liz. “Let’s hope Michael doesn’t get chased around the house with the fear of Amy Valenti on his tail thinking that Maria is making a possible announcement that she’s pregnant. I think Michael might need to practice with me on his shield,” Laughs Max.

“Maria thought if her mother got the impression she was going to call a family meeting to announce that she’s pregnant that Amy would most definitely be there without a doubt. Okay, so it’s only slightly evil and misleading but we’ll make up for it with lots of mom spoiling that day,” smiles Isabel.

“Okay, count me in. I know better than to go against you and Maria both,” teases Max.

“See, that’s why you are the smart leader. Now, just don’t let it go to your head, daddy-to-be,” Isabel grins.

“If that’s all you want to talk to me about, I need to go. I can feel Liz is starting to call to me,” hints Max.

“Good night Max and take care of Liz. We’ll talk later,” says Isabel.

“Good night Iz, and thanks for talking to me and for doing this special moms day party. Bye,” says Max.

Isabel and Maria enlist the help of Mystic and the guys. Isabel and Maria begin making phone calls. Kyle calls Jim at work and gets his help agreeing to bring Amy Sunday to the Evan’s house in Roswell filling him on what is planned. Maria then calls her mom.

“Hi Mom, yes Michael and I are fine. What do you mean am I pregnant? No comment. I’m calling to invite you and Jim to the Evan’s house Sunday. I’m calling a family meeting and everyone will be there. I have an announcement to make and I really need you there Mom, please do this for me,” begs Maria.

“Maria, are you pregnant? Tell me what’s going on,” demands Amy with her imagination running wild.

“Mom, just come Sunday and you’ll find out then, okay. I have to go. Bye, I’ll see you Sunday, Mom,” says Maria quickly hanging up before her mom can ask her anymore questions. “Well I’d say that’s a guaranteed guest for Sunday. Her curiosity will drive her and Jim crazy until then. It’s a good thing Sunday is just a few days away,” sighs Maria. Maria’s cell phone begins ringing wildly and then her voice messaging takes a message. “That’s my mom. I hate leaving her hanging like that but it can’t be helped,” admits Maria. The girls stand by Maria and remind her it’s only for a few more days.

“Okay my turn, wish me luck,” says Isabel.

“Hi Mom, yeah we’re all fine. Can I talk to Daddy for a minute, thanks…Daddy, I need you to listen and not react too much to tip off Mom, okay. Don’t worry everyone’s fine it’s nothing like that. Its just we are planning something special for Mother’s Day and we want to have it at your house. We want all the moms to be there and we want to surprise Liz and include her in this special day. So don’t let Liz know she’s included on the list of moms. What do you think? Daddy, will you let us use your house and of course the guys are welcomed… There’ll be food too, which reminds me I need to talk to Michael about that. So, Daddy?” asks Isabel prompting him for his reaction and hopeful approval.

“Yes, I’m here. I completely agree with you honey. Yes, I have no problem with that at all. Yes, you know if you need anything you can count on my help. Is everyone else helping you in making plans?” smiles Phillip touched by his daughter’s kind and thoughtful way to celebrate Mother’s day.

“Great Daddy, thanks for letting me do this. If we need any additional help we know to count on you. Yes, it’s a collaborative effort with me in charge. Daddy, I love you and thanks again,” smiles Isabel.

“Of course Honey, that’s what we father’s are for. I love you to Izzy. Bye,” says Phillip hanging up the phone and shaking his head at how his little girl has grown.

“Well, what was that all about Phillip?” asks Diane curiously.

“Oh, nothing much Honey, just Izzy calling to get my view on something for school. A project I think for one of her classes I think is what she said,” smiles Phillip.

“I see. She could’ve asked me?” says Diane feeling slightly hurt Isabel didn’t ask her.

“It was one of those questionnaire things for a class. She was supposed to ask her father about his views answering the assigned few questions,” says Phillip trying to diffuse any hurt feelings Diane might feel being left out of Isabel’s conversation.

“Oh, I understand now. I remember the kids having an assignment asking questions to an assigned partner in one of their classes their sophomore year. It must be sort of something like that,” smiles Diane continuing to wash the dishes and tidy up the kitchen.

“Now we still need someone to talk to Mr. Parker and see about making arrangements for him and Nancy to be available to come to Mom and Dad’s since the Crash Down is open on Sundays,” says Mystic.

“Max suggested we include Liz on at least part of the plan that doesn’t involve her directly. So it will still be a surprise for her. We can call Liz later and let her call her dad and fill him in on the plans,” says Isabel.

“I’m sure my dad will be happy to help out if needed,” adds Alex.

“Thanks Sweetie, we really want this to be a special day for the parents in particular the moms since its Mothers Day. I’m sure your dad could maybe see if my dad wants to do a BBQ or something like that. I think that sounds like fun, what you think?” asks Isabel.

“Sounds great Princess, I’ll call my dad and set it up. He can call your dad,” says Alex reaching for the phone to call his dad.

The next morning as scheduled Liz received her phone call from Isabel and Maria. “Hey Chica, we’re formulating a plan and we were hoping for your help on it. What do you say Chica?” asks Isabel and Maria.

“What plan are you talking about?” asks Liz curious.

We were talking last night and thought it would be cool to get everyone’s moms together and have a special mom’s day celebration. The catch is the moms can’t know about it, it’s sort of a surprise. Cool, eh? So do you want to help?” asks Maria.

“Yes, definitely count me in! That’s way better than the traditional greeting card or phone call. I love the plan so far, what do you need me to do?” asks Liz beaming with enthusiasm feeling a little guilty for being out of touch with her parents lately. Maria and Isabel quickly fill her in on the plans Liz needs to know about.

“Max, Honey that was Izzy and Maria. They called to tell me about a plan they came up with to have a special gathering at your parent’s house for the moms for Mother’s Day. I should call my dad and talk to him about this. Doesn’t it sound like such a great way to celebrate Mothers Day?” smiles Liz.

“Yeah, Babe it does. I have a better idea. Don’t call your dad. We’ll just go over there for brunch,” Max says looking over his shoulder looking at the alarm clock. “I’m sure your dad would much rather see you in person and we can talk to him about it there. Your mom usually isn’t working out in the diner, so that should still work with keeping the secret from her,” suggests Max.

“Oh Honey, that’s a great idea. I love the way your mind works. You know I’m really hungry after last night. Let’s go take a nice shower and go over to the Crash Down,” says Liz.

“Anything for you Liz,” says Max leaning in and kissing her.

“Really, well keep that up and we’ll never make to the Crash Down for Brunch,” giggles Liz.
