Carolyn Liz is far from the typical Hollywood type. She has never forgotten where she comes from and the the values her parents taught her. Oh I say it is a safe bet that her new neighbor will be welcoming her home.

SmileeUk Liz has chosen her path in Hollywood and will not be derailed from it. Max and Liz are going to grow closer over time. As for Michael, I would have to say where Maria is he can't be far behind.





Part 7

Liz walked into her apartment building with her bag. She really hated having to deal with the crowd at LAX. It didn't help that her flight had been delayed this morning by a thunderstorm leaving New York. She reach her door and found a note taped to it. She pulled it off and opened it.

~Hi Liz,
I don't think you will be in the mood to cook. So if you want come over and I will make you dinner. Mind you I can't cook much. But I do make a mean spaghetti and meat balls. I will have a salad too.

Liz smiled. She would take him up on his offer after putting her bag in her room. Just taking her keys she headed over to Max's apartment. She knocked on the door and was surprised when a tall blond opened the door.

"Hi come in Liz. I'm Max's sister Isabel."
"Nice to meet you Isabel."
"Max just ran to the store he will be back soon."
"Great."
"Liz relax. I won't tell anyone where you live."
"Thanks. So you a fan like your brother?"
"I'm more of a fan of Alex then you to be honest."
"Alex is a good guy. We are good friends."
"Is he seeing anyone?"
"Not that I know of."
"Izzy don't go asking my friend to set you up with your crush." Said Max coming in.

Max smiled put the bag down he was carrying and pulled Liz into a hug.

"How did the interview go?" Asked Max
"Good. Though like every reporter she did try and get me to open up about my personal life. But didn't push it when I said that it was off limits." Said Liz
"That's right! No one knows anything about your off set life." Said Isabel
"Well Isabel, you now know a little. So please keep it to yourself."said Liz
"I promise I won't say anything. I don't want you run through the ringer like Zan is all the time." Said Isabel
"Isabel, I hope this doesn't offend you. But I really dislike your cousin." Said Liz
"Well I kind of realized that when I saw the video of you covering him in your extra large coffee."
"The one time I lose my temper and a camera is rolling."
"I don't believe that is the first time Zan made you lose your temper." Said Isabel
"OK that is true. But it is the only time it happened in front of a camera!"
"I believe that. So what are your plans for the break?" Asked Max
"Just relaxing. Though I do have a movie premier in a couple weeks to go to."
"Really?"
"Yeah this horror movie I filmed last year."
"Doesn't seem like the kind of thing you normally do." Said Max
"Yeah well let's just say it is not fun to be covered in fake blood for days."
"So does that mean you die in it?" Asked Isabel
"I'm not saying. You will have to wait until it comes out to find out."

Max smiled he had to wonder if she had a date for the event.

"Uh Liz do you have a date for the event?" Asked Max
"I don't have a boyfriend if that is what you are asking." Said Liz
"Do you want a date? I mean I will go with you if you want as your friend."

Isabel had to smile at the way her brother was acting. She could tell that, that he WO LD love to be more than friends with Liz.

"I'll think about it." Said Liz
"OK. Well ladies dinner is ready." Said Max

The three of them sat down to a nice friendly dinner.

Zan threw back another beer before taking the crack pipe from one off his buddies. He took a long drag off it. He loved the way the drugs made him feel. He smiled when a red head girl came up to him. He remembered fucking her before and had to wonder if she would be up for it again.

"Yo babe you want to go upstairs with me?" Asked Zan
"Sure hon. Been a while since we got together for a little fun." Said the girl

Zan smiled took one more drag of the pipe and headed upstairs to one of the bedrooms with the girl. Once in the room he locked the door started to kiss her. It didn't take him long to get her out of her skimpy dress leaving her in only her red thong. He then undressed and shoved her roughly onto the bed. He climbed on top of her doing everything he knew to get her ready for him. He groaned when she started to rub her hand over his dick. That was when he removed her thong spread her legs and entered her hard and fast. She moaned with each of his hard thrust. He grunted as he felt her juices cover him. He knew he was going to get his release soon. He knew she wasn't close not that he cared. He never cared if his fuck got off. It was only about him.

It wasn't long they both dressed and headed back to the party.

Like the way Liz and Isabel met. So Isabel has a crush on Alex. Now that is really cute. Love how Max and Liz are with each other. So Max asked if Liz needed a date. That was really cute how Max asked Liz. That was nice of Max to have Liz and Isabel over for dinner.

Lillmonster It isn't so much that Liz doesn't want Maria to visit. It's more like she is not looking forward to Maria butting in on her lack of a love life right now.

Carolyn Liz is thinking about it. Only time will tell if she will take her up on it.





Part 8

Liz woke to her cell phone ringing. She reached for it and answered without looking at it.

"Lizzie are you watching the Today show?" Came her father's voice
"Dad, I was sleeping." Liz mumbled into the phone.
"Why didn't you tell me you were doing an interview with them?"
"I don't know. Maria knew. I figured all of Roswell would know."
"You should have told your mother and me."
"Dad, I'm sorry."
"Does this have something to do with your blow up about a month ago?"
"Yeah. I needed some damage control before things got out of hand."
"Ok. The interview is going to air in the next half hour."
"Ok dad. I will grab my coffee and watch to make sure they didn't do anything in editing."
"Ok sweetie. Love you."
"Love you too dad. Tell mom I love her."
"Ok honey."

Liz got out of bed made a cup of coffee and curled up on the sofa turning on the TV to NBC. She watched the interview and was happy with the way it turned out. It went just how she remembered it. She finished her coffee and went to take a shower.

Max was finishing his breakfast when his cell phone rang. He looked at it and didn't recognize the number.

"Hello?" He asked answering
"Hi uh Max?"
"Yeah."
"It's Ava from Starbucks."
"Hey Ava."
"Your offer still good about finding me a lawyer?"
"Yeah."
"Good cause I want to prove that asshole is my baby's father and make him support it."
"Ok. I will help you."
"Thanks."
"Ava, you are doing ok right?"
"Yeah. Max why you doing this?"
"Because if Zan thinks he is a man by having unprotected sex he should have to pay for his actions."
"Your really are one of the good guys Max."
"Thanks give me a few days and I will call you back."
"No problem."

Max hung up and called his dad.

"Hey dad you still in touch with your friend that handles paternity cases?"
"Yes Max. Please tell me you didn't get some girl pregnant."
"No I didn't. I met a girl that claims Zan got her pregnant."
"You want to help this girl?"
"Yeah. Dad, you know Zan has never taken responsibility for anything he has done. He is always bragging about all the girls he has had sex with. He even told me that he doesn't like condoms."
"How far along is this girl?"
"About seven months."
"Ok. I will have David get in touch with you. You will have to set up the meeting with this girl and him."
"Thanks dad."

Max hung up and put his phone down. He hoped that they could prove that Zan was the father of Ava's baby. His cousin had to grow up and learn that there were consequences for his actions.

Wow what a way to be woken up by a parent. So glad the interview went so good for Liz. Finally Ava is going to prove Zan is the father to her baby and make him pay support. So Glad Max is going to help Ava. Max is really a good guy.

Part 9 A week later

Liz took a deep breath and knocked on Max's door. She gulped when he opened the door wearing only a pair of jeans hanging low on his hips and hair still wet from a shower.

"Hey Liz."
"Uh hi."

Max smiled this was a new side of Liz he was seeing.

"Why don't you come in?" Asked Max
"Uh thanks."

Liz followed Max into his apartment not able to take her eyes off him.

"What can I do for you Liz?"

Liz broke her gaze at him and walked over to the French doors that lead out to the balcony that over looked a courtyard. His apartment had nearly the same layout as hers. Only she had a view of the beach and ocean.

"Liz, is something wrong?" Asked Max
"Is your offer to go to that movie premiere still out there?"
"Yeah."
"Will you be my escort?"
"Of course. Liz, what is going on? You seem nervous."
"I'm not nervous."
"If you aren't nervous then there is something else."

Max smiled when he realized that she was trying not to stare at him.

"Liz, are you avoiding looking at me?"
"No! Why would you think that?"
"Well after you came in you have not made eye contact with me, nor did you at the door now that I think about it. It can't be that I don't have a shirt on. You have seen guys without shirts before. Hell you made out with Zan on a beach with him in nothing but swimshorts on."
"Can we not talk about the fact I have had to let that asshole put his hands on me? Not to mention kiss him? Let me put it this way, he makes me sick!"

Max let out a soft laugh and smiled at her.

"Liz, with how much he smokes how do you do it?"
"It's not easy. Fake blood which by the way doesn't taste good is more enjoyable then your cousin's mouth."
"I know that you don't have a boyfriend. But have you dated?"
"Yeah. But most of the guys only wanted to use me to try and get their career off the grown. Or they got mad when I wouldn't have sex with them."
"Liz, I want you to know I will never try and use you."
"I know. You are different then most guys. I have met. Oh uh I am having Serena, her boyfriend and Alex over tomorrow night to watch the season finale together. You and Isabel are welcome to come."
"I will be there. I will have to call Isabel and see if she wants to come."
"Great. Oh Max the premiere you need a nice suit."
"Not a problem."
"Great."
"You do know that some of those reporters are going to think that we are more then friends."
"I know. Max, if you don't want to go I can go alone. It wouldn't be the first time."
"No I am fine with it. I just want to make sure you are going to be OK with possibly ending up in the tabloids."
"I can handle it."
"Good."

Max leaned down and kissed Liz on her cheek.

"I should go. I need to go to the store and get a few things for tomorrow."
"Want me to bring anything? Beer or wine or something?"
"Max, not a good idea to bring alcohol. Neither Serena or I are twenty one yet. I am not sure about Kyle. Alex is and doesn't drink very often."
"OK. See you later Liz."
"Yeah."

Liz left with part of her wishing that kiss had been somewhere other then her cheek.
