Summary: Jondy escaped from Manticore and got as far away as possible. Years later she hears a news report about Manticore being taken down and another group of kids come into Roswell. How does the pod squad react to her little secret?

Jondy had run till her feet were sore and after that she walked until her legs gave out. She collapsed down on the floor and stared up at the stars, she could remember the break out. It had all started when Jack was killed and dissected for having seizures. After that we well they decided that it wasn't safe anymore and they got the hell out of there. Several of them escaped that night; Ben, Max, Brin, Eva didn't make it, Jace was too scared to come with them, Krit, Syl, Tinga, Zack, Zane and finally Jondy.
Zack their older brother and CO had paired them off in the woods after they got out. Jondy and Max were paired together and they cleared the fence together. Jondy had lost Max in some ice and she had no choice but to keep going. How she got away from them she had no idea but she did.
As she lay on the floor she thought back to some of Ben's stories, he could always tell the best stories there she smiled and wondered if it was time to go to the Good Place soldiers go to? She closed her eyes and let sleep take her.

She woke up in a comfy bed with a soft comforter and thick pillows, she sat up and looked round assessing the situation she was in, the door opened and in walked a blonde haired older woman carrying a tray
"Ah you're awake" said the lady "I was wondering when you were going to wake up"
"Who are you?" Jondy demanded
"My name is Claudia Parker and you are..." she trailed off waiting expectantly for the girl's name. Jondy thought for a moment and decided against using the name her brothers and sisters at Manticore had given her
"My name is Liz" she said and Claudia smiled
"Of course it is. Now are you hungry? You looked like you'd been through some trouble when I found you and it's a good job I did" she said as he put the tray down and handed Liz the bowl of soup and bread roll
"Thank you" said Liz as she tucked into it. She ate fast and cleared the bowl in minutes
"You looked like you needed that" chuckled Claudia
"Where am I?" asked Liz putting the bowl back on the tray
"You're just outside Roswell New Mexico" she said and suddenly the phone rang. Claudia picked it up as the young girl only about eight years slid from the bed under her watchful gaze
"Hello?"
"Hi it's me mom. The adoption fell through, Nancy's really upset about it all. She won't even speak to me"
"Jeff..." began Claudia then she got an idea as she stared at Liz "Do you have any adoption papers there with you?"
"Yeah the social working from the orphanage left them. I put them in my desk. Why?"
"Because you're going to need adoption papers and a lot of clothes for a eight year old girl. I'm on my way" then she hung up. Claudia sat down on the bed and watched Liz move about the room "Liz... do you have any family?"
"I have brothers and sisters but some of them are dead; Eva and Jack were killed" she didn't know why she was telling this lady about her life in Manticore but something inside her told her that she could trust this Claudia "The others I don't know where they are"
"What about parents? Where's your mom and dad?" she asked
"What's a mom and dad?" asked Liz confused Claudia just grinned
"A mom and dad are people who love and protect you and keep anything bad from happening to you"
"I don't have a mom or a dad. There was a man called Lydecker but he's the one who killed Eva and Jack" she whispered sadly "I saw him cutting Jack open" Claudia got up and pulled Liz into a hug
"It'll be okay now Liz, don't worry" she said and Liz began to believe it.
Claudia bungled Liz up into the car and drove into the town of Roswell to her son's little apartment above a cafe. She climbed up the steps holding Liz's hand and unlocked the door and let herself in. Jeff and Nancy were waiting in the living room with the adoption papers on the table. The second Nancy saw Liz she rushed over and wrapped her arms around her
"Are you my mom?" she asked and Nancy nodded tears running down her face
"If you want me to be sweetie" she said warmly and Liz looked up and Claudia who just nodded and sat down to sign the papers. She filled them out as best she could then gave them to Jeff
"Hide these. No one must find out that she's adopted! I don't know the whole story but I believe she broke out of some horrible lab where they tested on children. She was your daughter and she was staying with me because she was sick okay?" Nancy and Jeff nodded
"I'll go get her a night dress so she can get some sleep" said Jeff
"I don't need sleep" said Liz "I could... I could um..."
"Nonsense!" cried Nancy "I don't want to hear it! It's late and you should get some sleep" she said. Jeff came back and they pulled off Liz's grey scrub dress and put the baggy red shirt on her. Nancy picked up Liz and carried her to the bedroom "You're name is Liz Parker now and you're my little girl" she said tucking her into the large bed in the guest room.
Jeff hugged his mom and thanked her for bringing them Liz, Claudia smiled and patted his cheek
"She just needs someone to take care of her. It's late now, I better go" she smiled then left.
Nancy was so excited that she could barely sleep that night, she glanced over at Jeff and saw he was slowly falling asleep. She smiled thankful that his mother could give them such a wonderful little miracle. An hour later Nancy could slowly feel sleep taking her when suddenly a loud scream rang out through out the apartment. Jeff jerked up but Nancy was already out of the bed rushing towards the guest room where Liz had been put. Liz was screaming in her sleep and thrashing around in the bed
"Noooo! Max! Jack! Jack! Eva! No Zack! Don't let them take Max! Max!" she screamed then another loud piercing scream came from her mouth before she jerked up in her bed and threw her arms around Nancy as she sobbed and cried. Nancy glanced to Jeff standing in the doorway and her eyes mirror his own questioning ones; what had happened to this little girl?

Liz served the couple sat at the table two before returning to stand near the service window. Her mind began to wander, it had been nearly eleven years since Grandma Claudia found her laying half dead by the side of a road in the middle of the desert. She could barely remember those early days but she knew that they were the most important; in those early days she knew she had a family.
"Hey, penny for your thoughts" said Max who was sat at the counter
"Oh it'd take more than a penny for my thoughts" she said before she sat down next to him. It was quiet today and her mom was visiting her Aunt in Florida, her dad was in the back doing receipts.
"Are you okay?" he asked
"Yeah just thinking" she replied as the bell rang above the door, she offered him a smile and slid from her stool "I'll be right back" she went over to see a familar face standing before her, dark hair, dark eyes
"Hey 210" he said and she turned pale "Never thought you'd see me again did ya?"
"Krit?" she whispered then threw her arms around him "Oh My God Krit" she closed her eyes as they hugged. Max watched with curious eyes as his girlfriend hugged some stranger. Liz pulled back and looked at him with hope
"Not that I'm not pleased to see you but what are you doing here?"
"Max sent me" he told her "They've taken down Manticore" her mouth fell open and she took a few dizzy steps and almost collapsed. Krit caught her and Max came over to see what was going on.
"Manticore's gone?" she repeated "Who brought it down"
"Max, Alec, Syl, Brin and me. We had some help from the nomalies and some humans"
"What about Tinga? Jace? What about the others? Ben?" she asked, Krit knew that Jondy had always loved Ben's stories
"They're dead" he told her and she was really
"Is everything okay?" asked Max and she looked up to see him standing there worried. She nodded her head mutely before turning back to Krit
"What about Zack?" she demanded, her heart was racing; Zack couldn't be dead. He was too strong to be dead!
"He got shot, Max said he survived but he doesn't remember any of us. He went to live with norms" he explained
"Liz?" Max said and Liz glanced up at him Krit smirked
"Liz?" he asked and she scowled at him
"Max I uh... I need to have a moment alone. I'll be right back" she said then pulled Krit into the back. Max scowled at her retreating back
"Is Max calling us home?" asked Liz the second she had Krit in the back
"She sent me to find you. To let you know that there's a home for you, the rest of us are staying with her in a place called Terminal City. It's the only safe place for transgenics. I came to get you before you get killed"
"Krit I can't leave here. I have a home, parents... friends and none of them know who I am. They don't know what I am" she cried
"What about your barcode?" he asked her she pulled back her hair and showed the back of her neck, it was clear with no sign of her designation
"I had a skin graft, it's still there just covered over" she explained and suddenly a phone rang. Krit reached into his pocket and answered it
"Krit" he said into the phone "Yeah I'm here. Yes I found her, she looks really good but the dress can be left to the imagination" Liz swatted him and he grinned "I'll pass you over" he held the phone out to her "It's Max, she wants to speak to you" Liz took the phone and nervously put it to her ear
"Hello?" she whispered
"OMG Jondy" came the warm voice on the other end Liz smiled as tears ran down her face
"I haven't been called that in a long, long time" she told Max her older sister
"When are you coming to Terminal City?"
"I can't" she told her and she could almost hear Max trying not to cry
"I have a home here. After I got out I was found and adopted, I have parents that love me I have friends... I go to high school, no one knows who I am"
"Jondy listen, we have a lot of transgenics here in Terminal City. Some of them are packing up to move out. Some of them are going to be heading through your way. Krit's going to stay there and make sure they get through to the Mexican border. Will you help him? You're still a transgenic after all, please don't turn your back on us"
"Okay" she said "I'm going to pass you back to Krit now" she said and handed the phone back to him. She put her hand on the back of her neck and closed her eyes tight, how was she ever going to explain this? She opened her eyes and saw Krit staring at her
"Are you in?" he asked and she nodded "Good"
"Krit... " she began pointing to her neck, he just nodded. Krit pulled out a pen knife turned Liz around and pushed her hair out of the way to take that grafted layer off the back of her neck. She remained silent as the pain shot through the back of her neck, she was cut raw. Krit folded his pen knife away and grabbed a rolled up towel out of his messenger bag and put it on the back of her neck "Thanks" there was a knock at the door and oth of them turned to see Max standing on the other side
"Want me to get rid of him?" Krit asked
"No I should talk to him" she said
"Does he know that you were adopted?" he asked and Liz shook her head "No one knows except my parents and my Grandma Claudia and she passed away last year"
"I'm sorry Jondy" he said putting his hand on her shoulder she just smiled and went outside.
"Sorry about that" she said still holding the towel to the back of her neck
"Who was that Liz?" he asked
"Oh he was an old family friend. He's going to be staying in town for a few days. His name is Krit" she explained
"Krit? Liz... how come you never mentioned him before... you don't think he's an..."
"No Max he's not. He has nothing to do with Czechoslovakia, he's a normal guy okay?"
"Okay" Max nodded but he still wasn't convinced, he folded his arms then caught sight of the towel at the back of her neck "What's wrong with your neck?"
"Oh nothing just... I got a tattoo" she explained badly "On the back of my neck. It's not healed up properly yet" he just nodded thinking it was really strange for Liz of all people to have a tattoo.
"Want me to heal it for you?" he asked and she smiled
"Would you?" she replied and he just put both hands on the back of her neck and began to heal the damage. He got a brief flash of Krit standing near hear holding open a knife but he put it away to think about it later. She smiled and put the towel down
"Thanks" she smiled "Could you get rid of the blood as well?" he waved his hand over the towel and she went into the back and gave the towel back to Krit
"What did you tell Mr-Sticks-His-Nose-In out there?"
"I told him that you were an old family friend and you were here to stay for a while"
"Old family! You're as bad as Ben" he said then paused when he realised what he'd said "I'm sorry"
"No it's okay" she replied "How did he die?"
"He went crazy, became some religious fanatic believing in the Blue Lady. He tried to kill Max but she beat him, she broke his leg and then Manticore goons came. He begged her to kill him so he wouldn't end up back there. At that place" he said and she nodded "She made it quick. He didn't feel anything" he told her and she sat down. He sat down next to her and put his arms around her while she cried. After she calmed down he pulled out a photo of everyone from Terminal City "Here I want to show you something" she looked at it and he pointed people out "That's Max, her hair is longer than yours now. That's Logan, Max's boyfriend and that's Original Cindy Max's best friend. That's Alec" he pointed out and Liz took the photo from him
"He looks like Ben"
"He's a copy of Ben. Max called him Alec, short for Smart Alec" he told her and she chuckled "That's Joshua, he's a nomalie but he's a real great guy. A little slow on the uptake but he's really loyal and kind. That's Celia, Briggs and the rest are nomalies oh and that's Normal holding Celia's baby. Normal was Max's boss and he delivered Celia's baby. There's Syl and Brin" he pointed them out
"Syl's a blonde" she whispered "I knew she'd be beautiful when we were kids. I wish you had a picture of Zack" she said and Krit grinned
"Max told me to bring this up here. It's the only one we have" he said and handed her a photo
"Oh My God... I can see so much of Jack in him. They would have looked so alike" she whispered and he nodded
"You can keep it" he said "Max has copies back home"
"Liz!" suddenly Maria burst through the door "The gang are here. Are you com... oh hellllooo!" smirked Maria when she spotted Krit "Liz whose the hunk? Are you holding out on me?"
"He's family" she said
"Okay, well the others are here" she said then went back out
"I better go" she said and he nodded
"I'm going to find a hotel to Crash. I need some sleep, I wasn't as insomniatic as you were" he said and she grinned then she followed him out into the cafe. They were watching Krit walk through, she could tell that they didn't trust him. Krit turned and pulled her into a hug then kissed her forehead
"Jondy at least think about coming to Terminal City with me. It's safe there" he said
"I'll think about it" she said and he gave her another hug then left. Liz went over and sat down with her friends
"Who was that?" asked Kyle "Your new love interest?"
"No! God Krit? No way..."
"He's a family friend" said Max
"You know I don't think you've ever mentioned anyone by the name of Krit" said Alex
"Come to think of it I don't remember you ever telling me about him either" added Maria "You didn't even tell us he was coming"
"It was a surprise visit. He's up doing some work helping people relocate, anyway why all the questions about him?"
"You don't think there's something up with him? I mean he just shows up now. A few months after the signal goes off"
"Krit is not alien" she said pulling her hair up into a ponytail "Krit is... he's my brother" she said then got up and went into the back leaving everyone stunned.

Liz sat on her balcony staring out up at the stars when she heard someone climbing the ladder. Krit peeked his head over the top and she grinned
"Can I come up?" he asked and she just nodded her head once at him, he jumped up onto the roof and looked round "Nice set up you got here sis, I just came to see how you were in sparring"
"God" she chuckled "I'm really rusty"
"Well we need to train you up. Don't need a rusty soldier helping the transgenics through the border" she stood up putting the blanket back and he took her through some old moves. He repeated the moves till she was as sharp as she used to be
"Is that all you got puny?" she goaded him on, he walked into a bad move and she turned and pinned him "What was that about being a rusty soldier?" she whispered in his ear
"Let me up" he said and she let him go sitting back on her haunches "You kept up your training after you left"
"I practised out here by myself. I knew that one day... one day someone would find me whether it be Lydecker or you guys wanting me to fight. I wanted to be ready" she explained then sat back down on her lawn chair "Krit I want you to meet my friends"
"Okay" he said as he joined her on the lawn chair. She pulled the blanket over them "Jondy, can you tell me one of Ben's stories?"
"Once upon a time there were 14 brothers and sisters called Ben, Brin, Zack, Zane, Syl, Jondy, Jack, Jace, Eva, Max, Raven and Krit. They lived in a big castle called Manticore with a servant that did all their work and served them all called Lydecker. Now deep in the dungeons of the castle were trapped souls that Lydeckey had created before the 14 brothers and sisters grew strong and made him their servant. These trapped souls hated the fourteen because they had been in charge and wanted to be again..." she was interrupted by soft snoring and looked up to see Krit fast asleep. She smiled and curled up next to him and drifted off to sleep.
About an hour later Max climbed the ladder hoping to talk to Liz about Krit and the whole brother thing. He didn't trust the guy and believed he was an alien making her believe that he was her brother. He paused when he saw her fast asleep next to him. He climbed over and stood there for a moment before he caught sight of the tattoo on the back of her neck. He went over and took a closer look to find it was a barcode. He stared at it for a moment before he leaned over and pulled Krit's leather jacket down and saw a similar barcode on the back of his neck. Suddenly Krit jerked up grabbed his arm spun him round and pushed him up into the wall
"Who are you and what the hell are you doing?" he demanded Liz woke up and saw Krit man-handling Max
"Krit! Let him go!" she cried moving over to him. Krit dropped Max and glanced between the boy and his sister
"Jondy who is this guy?"
"This is Max, my boyfriend" she explained as she kneeled next to him "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine" he said slowly standing up
"Christ Krit! What's the matter with you?" she hissed angrily at her brother who hung his head
"He was looking at my barcode "I don't trust him"
"Well that's funny" coughed Max "Coz I don't trust you. Who are you really? You show up unannounced claiming that you're Liz's brother, did you do that tattoo on the back of her neck?"
"Max! Stop! It's not a tattoo" she said "And Krit really is my brother. I... I'm not who you think I am"
"Liz... what are you talking about?"
"Max I'm a little bit like you. You know you're half English and half... Czecholoslovakian?"
"Yeah... you're not... are you?"
"No I'm not. I'm half and half but... Max I'm a transgenic" she confessed "I was part of the X5 group. My designation is X5 210 and my barcode is 332340090210. I escaped a facility called Manticore ten years ago. No one knows I'm adopted except my parents" she said and he stared at her in shock
"Not even Maria?"
"No one. I kind of think my life depends on it" she said Max glanced to Krit
"You're a transgenic too?" he asked and Krit nodded
"Jondy and I come from a big family. Lots of brothers and sisters, a lot of them were killed and I swear to the Blue Lady if you hurt my baby sister I will hunt you down and kill you like the mangy dog you are"
"Max would never hurt me" said Liz "He saved my life, I trust him with my life. Like I trusted you and the others" she said and he nodded
"Do your parents know that you're a transgenic?" he asked and she shook her head
"They adopted me but I never really told them about my past before. They've never asked, they just knew it was a bad time for me. I used to wake up screaming about what they did to... Jack then Eva" she whispered and Krit put his hand on her shoulder
"I miss them too. You remember Joshua? The nomalie I told you about, he made a flag for all transgenics and we stood and remembered them all"
"I wish I could have been there" she whispered and Krit pulled her into a hug
"Remember one of Ben's stories? The Good Place soldiers go to? Well Ben, Eva and Jack are there. They're watching down on us" he said and she nodded before looking up
"What happened to Lydecker?" she asked
"He joined our side. He started to help us, he helped Max"
"So who are your brothers and sisters?" asked Max after he was quiet for a while
"I had thirteen other brothers and sisters but a lot of them were killed" she said "Ben, Brin, Raven, Eva, Jace, Jack, Krit, Max, Syl, Tinga, Zack, Zane and Wye" she said "Wye never made it out of Manticore. They killed Eva and Jack. Raven got shot by accident and Ben died..."
"Last year" said Krit "Zack has lost his memory now Max is the CO. She took over Terminal City up in Seattle a few weeks ago" he explained "I came here to ask Jondy if she wanted to come back and live with us?"
"Jondy?" Max repeated
"That's my real name" said Liz "When Grandma Claudia found me I lied and told her my name was Liz. That's what I've been called ever since"
"How come I never saw any of that?" he asked making Krit confused
"You saw the good important happy times in my life. I don't want anyone to have to see what happened back then"
"You held part of yourself back from me?" he whispered in disbelief
"I had to. Just like you did, 'we tell no one because our lives depend on it' remember that? Well this is the same, if they find us they'll kill us"
"They tried to kill Briggs, another friend of Max's. They tried to kill him in the street, they had strung him up and were going to burn him to death. If anyone found out what we were it would be over, they'd kill her. They'd kill Jondy!" Max reached out to touch her cheek desperately
"I won't let anyone hurt you I promise"
"I know Max" she replied and he kissed her softly
"Okay dude I so do not need to see that" Krit looked away and Liz blushed
"I better get some sleep" she said
"Okay, I think we should meet at Michael's tomorrow to discuss this"
"No" said Krit "It's bad enough you know. My sister obviously trusts you but there's no way anyone else can know!"
"Krit, my friends... we've been through a lot. They can be trusted, I trust them. You know how hard it was for me to trust people?"
"I know... I want to meet them first"
"You will" she said then turned back to Max "I'll see you tomorrow Max and we'll talk" she kissed him goodbye then he climed down the ladder...

Michael was sitting down drinking a soda watching the game and waiting for the others to arrive when Liz walked in followed by that guy who she said was her brother. Liz came in and sat down on a couch and the guy Krit went over and joined him on the couch
"Whose winning?" he asked as he began to focus on the TV
"Canucks and what the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm here for her" he said nodding to Liz, then Maria walked in followed by Alex and Kyle. Not too long after that Tess, Isabel, Max and Valenti walked in. Krit stood up nervously when he saw the Sheriff
"It's okay Krit, he's cool" said Liz
"Jondy what the hell! He's a cop! No! We have to get rid of him!" he cried suddenly there was a blur and Liz was standing in front of Valenti
"No, he's one of us. He's a good guy and I trust him" she said "Now let's just sit down, introduce everyone and talk"
"Liz how the hell did you move so fast?" asked Kyle from his crowded spot on a stool
"I'll get to that but first off I want you all to meet one of my brothers. His name is Krit and he's from a place called Manticore. Krit this is Max, his sister Isabel, their brother Michael, my best friend's Maria and Alex, Kyle and Tess oh and Sheriff Valenti" he waved nervously from his spot next to Michael. It went stony silent for a while then Krit began to sniff
"What is that smell?" he asked Liz and she smirked
"Oh you get used to it after a while" she said and Krit turned to look at Michael
"What are you looking at?"
"Why do you smell like... you smell like dust and hydropper formulate. Don't you take a shower?"
"Hey don't talk to him like that!" snapped Isabel and he turned to look at her
"You do too, but not as strong. He does as well, I noticed it around town when I first got here. It's coming off you as well" he pointed to Tess finally "It's like... hey wait a sec! You're hybrids!" he said aloud "You're hybrids! All four of you!" he stood up grabbed Tess by the head and pushed her forwards to see if she had a bar code but she didn't "What's your designation!" he demanded
"Krit, they're not transgenics" said Liz and Michael stood up fast holding his hand out
"He knows who we were are! We have to kill him!"
"You go away near my brother Michael and I swear to the Blue Lady that I will throw you out that window with my bare hands!" she hissed but Michael ignored her and took a step towards Krit. Liz moved swiftly and before anyone knew it Liz was standing there holding Michael in the air with one hand
"Liz! Let him go!" cried Isabel and Liz dropped him down on the couch
"I think that freaking transgenic better get the hell out of here!" cried Maria angrily "God Liz I can't even believe you would bring that thing here that would cause so much trouble! Haven't we got enough without you adding to it? Just get out Krit! Get out and go back to where ever you came from!" she shouted. Liz went to open her mouth to say something but Isabel stepped in front of her with her own two cents.
"You too Liz. You're dangerous, it would be better if you just left" she said coldly "before you hurt anyone else"
"Isabel!" snapped Max but it was too late, the damage was done. Liz turned and left with Krit following her. Max paused looking around the room before he took off after her.
He caught up with her in the hall and grabbed her arm, he turned her around and saw tears spilling down her face
"Liz don't go" he begged her softly but she shook her head
"You heard them Max... I can't stay here. I'm going to help Krit then I'm going back with him to Terminal City"
"Then I'll come with you!" he cried desperately "Liz we've been through so much. Let me come with you please" he begged and she nodded
"Okay" she said and he pulled her close
"It's dangerous you know that" said Krit "It's not like a walk in the park"
"We've been through bad stuff like that already. We can handle it" said Max rubbing her back softly
"Who exactly are you?" asked Krit with wonder, who had his sister fallen in with?
"King Zan of Antar" he said holding out his hand and pulling away from Liz slightly
"You're an alien?" Krit smirked "Oh Jondy! Only you could fall in with an alien king!" he shook Max's hand laughing.
"Max" they turned round and saw Tess standing there "Are you coming?" she asked from the doorway
"No I'm not. I'm taking Liz home" he said "Come on let's go" and the three of them took off down the hallway.
A Month Later
Max sat at the breakfast table with Isabel shooting daggers at him, it had been the same for the past few weeks since they found out Liz was a transgenic. Diane looked back and forth at her kids and felt utterly helpless; she had no idea why they were fighting but she knew this was really serious
"I heard that Mrs Keyes is having a bake sale again on Saturday" she said trying to break the stony silence "We should all go. As a family" she said patting Max's hand but he didn't look at her
"I'm not going to be here on Saturday mom" Max said without taking his eyes off Isabel
"Oh? Why? Do you have plans with Liz?" she asked and Isabel snorted angrily
"Yes I have plans with Liz. We're going" he said as he stood up and picked up his bowl and carried it to the sink
"Going? Going where?" asked Diane "To the movies? To a picnic?" she asked
"Going. We're leaving Roswell" he said and both Isabel and Diane reacted with shock
"What do you mean you're leaving!" cried Isabel "When were you going to tell us this?"
"I'm sure Max has a reasonable explanation for this. Maybe it's a field trip or something?" said Diane knowing her son would never take off with a proper reason
"No. It's not a field trip or anything like that, Liz needs me and I'm going. I'm not staying here with hypocritical people who treat her like that!" he shouted as Isabel then walked out. Isabel got up and stormed off leaving Diane sitting there wondering how her family fell apart without her noticing.
Max put his clothes into the suitcase when he heard a knock at his window, he expected it to be Michael to talk him out of leaving tomorrow
"It's open!" he called as he grabbed some more shirts from his chest of draws. The windows opened and in climbed Krit
"Hey Max" he said "Are you all ready for tomorrow?"
"Yeah I'm busy packing" he said and Krit nodded then took some shirts from the draws and put them in the suitcase
"Let me help" he said and Max nodded, they worked in quiet until Krit broke the silence "I'm really grateful what you're doing for Jondy. I've never seen her that sad since... well since she found out about Ben and Jack died"
"She really cares about her family doesn't she?" Max asked and Krit nodded
"For the first eight years of her life we were all she had to cling to. It was a bad time for us in Manticore. Things were really bad... what they did to us. We just took it because it was our life. I'm just glad that she found you, you make her happy and I'm glad you're coming with us"
"Thanks Krit" he said and slapped his back
"I uh... I wanted to know about Liz getting shot at. What was with that?"
"Oh, it's the whole reason why we're together now. Liz got shot working in her dad's cafe and she was dying. I couldn't let her die so I went over and used my powers and healed her. We've been together ever since"
"Wait...? You healed her? Like really healed her?" Krit asked and Max nodded "So what powers do you have?"
"I can heal people. I can change the molecular structure of things and I can put out a shield" he said and held out his hand showing Krit his shield. He nodded in approval
"That would definitely come in handy" he said as he put some pants into the suitcase while Max turned and grabbed some shirts from the closet when there was a knock at the door both of them froze. Max put his shirts down on the bed and opened the door to find his mom standing there
"Can I come in?" she asked and he stepped aside to let her in, she was a bit surprised to see Krit standing there
"Hello Mrs Evans" he said nervously "Um maybe I should go?"
"No it's okay" she said anxiously as she tried to make eye contact
"No really, I should leave you to talk. I'm going to check on how Jondy's doing with her packing" he said then climbed out the window and took off.
"Max please don't go" she begged him "Whatever this rift is between you and Isabel we can fix it"
"Mom! It has nothing to do with Isabel! This is between Liz and me" he said as he began folding up his shirts and put them into the case
"Don't lie to me! I know that something's been going on between you and your sister! It's been nothing but nasty looks and silence for weeks and I want to know why!" she demanded. Max picked up his remote and turned on the TV then flicked through to a news channel and sure enough it was covering the transgenics in Seattle
"A few weeks ago I found out Liz was a transgenic. One of those from Seattle, her brother who was helping me back just now came to get her. Liz told us all and do you know how they reacted? How her best friends reacted? They were cold, cruel and tried to hurt her! So she's leaving... and... mom I love her! I want to be with her... for as long as I can remember I've loved Liz Parker. The first time I laid eyes on her I knew I would spend the rest of my life with her, I can't let this be the end of what we have. That's why I'm going with her"
"Is she pregnant?" Diane blurted and he scowled at her
"No she's not. All we've done is kissed... we've never after the past year and a half of being together we've just never... it wasn't about that. We were just happy being with each other but... we haven't" he stammered suddenly nervous about telling his mom about this
"I can't say that I'm happy about this. In fact I hate all this but I understand you have to do this. You're a good responsible kid and I've never had to enforce rules on you or keep you from doing bad things so I'm letting you go with her"
"Mom..." he began almost in disbelief
"On a few conditions" she said interrupting him "You call every day and you get yourself into another high school and graduate, after that you can do whatever you want okay?"
"Okay mom" he nodded
"And you talk to your sister before you leave. I don't want this hanging over you two, it's not right"
"Thanks mom" he said close to tears, she crossed the room and pulled him into a hug
"I love you Max" she said as she held him
"Love you too mom" he replied then pulled away wiping his tears away with his sleeve. She turned and left him too it.
Max knocked on Isabel's door in the early hours, he knew that she should be asleep but she was always awake at this time. She opened the door and scowled at him
"What do you want?" she hissed
"I'm here to be the bigger person and say I'm sorry for the way I treated you" he began catching Isabel off guard "Mom talked with me earlier and she wanted me to talk to you, she didn't want this hanging over us and she was right. You're my sister Izzy and we shouldn't fight, I'm sorry for acting like a jerk but you were in the wrong as well" she moved from the door and sat down on her bed and he came in and shut the door
"Do you have any idea how you made Liz feel?" he asked her "All these years she's known that she's different... I've seen a few flashes from her past and god... it was worse than when I was in the White Room. It was like the White Room for eight years straight for her, her brothers and sisters were killed around her and when she finally tells us that she's like us, that she's a hybrid running from the law as well all her friends turned on her" Isabel bowed her head because she knew he was right "All of you were so hypocritical and it was wrong"
"I know that now and I feel horrible" said Isabel she stood up "Tell Liz that I'm sorry. I'm going to miss you Max, we've never been apart before like this. I'm really going to miss you!" she pulled him into a hug and they made up hugging.
"I better get going now. Liz and Krit said they'd meet me at the CrashDown with their stuff" he said pulling away from Isabel
"Wait!" she cried and grabbed a book from the side of her desk "Alex took some photos of us so you could take with you. So you don't forget us" she said and handed him the album
"Thanks Isabel" he said and left the room returning to his to get his suitcase. He carried it out to his jeep and carefully stowed it in the back. Then got in and looked back at his house before strating the engine and heading to the CrashDown. He found Liz with two suitcases and Krit with a backpack and a hold all. They helped him get the stuff into the back then they climbed in and buckled up.
"I can't believe I'm leaving" said Liz from her place riding shot gun. Max reached across and linked his fingers with hers
"It'll be okay Liz. You'll see" he said and she nodded
"Okay love birds. Let's get this show on the road!" said Krit from the back. Max started the engine and they began their journer out of Roswell.

Summary: Jondy escaped from Manticore and got as far away as possible. Years later she hears a news report about Manticore being taken down and another group of kids come into Roswell. How does the pod squad react to her little secret?

Michael was sitting down drinking a soda watching the game and waiting for the others to arrive when Liz walked in followed by that guy who she said was her brother. Liz came in and sat down on a couch and the guy Krit went over and joined him on the couch
"Whose winning?" he asked as he began to focus on the TV
"Canucks and what the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm here for her" he said nodding to Liz, then Maria walked in followed by Alex and Kyle. Not too long after that Tess, Isabel, Max and Valenti walked in. Krit stood up nervously when he saw the Sheriff
"It's okay Krit, he's cool" said Liz
"Jondy what the hell! He's a cop! No! We have to get rid of him!" he cried suddenly there was a blur and Liz was standing in front of Valenti
"No, he's one of us. He's a good guy and I trust him" she said "Now let's just sit down, introduce everyone and talk"
"Liz how the hell did you move so fast?" asked Kyle from his crowded spot on a stool
"I'll get to that but first off I want you all to meet one of my brothers. His name is Krit and he's from a place called Manticore. Krit this is Max, his sister Isabel, their brother Michael, my best friend's Maria and Alex, Kyle and Tess oh and Sheriff Valenti" he waved nervously from his spot next to Michael. It went stony silent for a while then Krit began to sniff
"What is that smell?" he asked Liz and she smirked
"Oh you get used to it after a while" she said and Krit turned to look at Michael
"What are you looking at?"
"Why do you smell like... you smell like dust and hydropper formulate. Don't you take a shower?"
"Hey don't talk to him like that!" snapped Isabel and he turned to look at her
"You do too, but not as strong. He does as well, I noticed it around town when I first got here. It's coming off you as well" he pointed to Tess finally "It's like... hey wait a sec! You're hybrids!" he said aloud "You're hybrids! All four of you!" he stood up grabbed Tess by the head and pushed her forwards to see if she had a bar code but she didn't "What's your designation!" he demanded
"Krit, they're not transgenics" said Liz and Michael stood up fast holding his hand out
"He knows who we were are! We have to kill him!"
"You go away near my brother Michael and I swear to the Blue Lady that I will throw you out that window with my bare hands!" she hissed but Michael ignored her and took a step towards Krit. Liz moved swiftly and before anyone knew it Liz was standing there holding Michael in the air with one hand
"Liz! Let him go!" cried Isabel and Liz dropped him down on the couch
"I think that freaking transgenic better get the hell out of here!" cried Maria angrily "God Liz I can't even believe you would bring that thing here that would cause so much trouble! Haven't we got enough without you adding to it? Just get out Krit! Get out and go back to where ever you came from!" she shouted. Liz went to open her mouth to say something but Isabel stepped in front of her with her own two cents.
"You too Liz. You're dangerous, it would be better if you just left" she said coldly "before you hurt anyone else"
"Isabel!" snapped Max but it was too late, the damage was done. Liz turned and left with Krit following her. Max paused looking around the room before he took off after her.
He caught up with her in the hall and grabbed her arm, he turned her around and saw tears spilling down her face
"Liz don't go" he begged her softly but she shook her head
"You heard them Max... I can't stay here. I'm going to help Krit then I'm going back with him to Terminal City"
"Then I'll come with you!" he cried desperately "Liz we've been through so much. Let me come with you please" he begged and she nodded
"Okay" she said and he pulled her close
"It's dangerous you know that" said Krit "It's not like a walk in the park"
"We've been through bad stuff like that already. We can handle it" said Max rubbing her back softly
"Who exactly are you?" asked Krit with wonder, who had his sister fallen in with?
"King Zan of Antar" he said holding out his hand and pulling away from Liz slightly
"You're an alien?" Krit smirked "Oh Jondy! Only you could fall in with an alien king!" he shook Max's hand laughing.
"Max" they turned round and saw Tess standing there "Are you coming?" she asked from the doorway
"No I'm not. I'm taking Liz home" he said "Come on let's go" and the three of them took off down the hallway.
A Month Later
Max sat at the breakfast table with Isabel shooting daggers at him, it had been the same for the past few weeks since they found out Liz was a transgenic. Diane looked back and forth at her kids and felt utterly helpless; she had no idea why they were fighting but she knew this was really serious
"I heard that Mrs Keyes is having a bake sale again on Saturday" she said trying to break the stony silence "We should all go. As a family" she said patting Max's hand but he didn't look at her
"I'm not going to be here on Saturday mom" Max said without taking his eyes off Isabel
"Oh? Why? Do you have plans with Liz?" she asked and Isabel snorted angrily
"Yes I have plans with Liz. We're going" he said as he stood up and picked up his bowl and carried it to the sink
"Going? Going where?" asked Diane "To the movies? To a picnic?" she asked
"Going. We're leaving Roswell" he said and both Isabel and Diane reacted with shock
"What do you mean you're leaving!" cried Isabel "When were you going to tell us this?"
"I'm sure Max has a reasonable explanation for this. Maybe it's a field trip or something?" said Diane knowing her son would never take off with a proper reason
"No. It's not a field trip or anything like that, Liz needs me and I'm going. I'm not staying here with hypocritical people who treat her like that!" he shouted as Isabel then walked out. Isabel got up and stormed off leaving Diane sitting there wondering how her family fell apart without her noticing.
Max put his clothes into the suitcase when he heard a knock at his window, he expected it to be Michael to talk him out of leaving tomorrow
"It's open!" he called as he grabbed some more shirts from his chest of draws. The windows opened and in climbed Krit
"Hey Max" he said "Are you all ready for tomorrow?"
"Yeah I'm busy packing" he said and Krit nodded then took some shirts from the draws and put them in the suitcase
"Let me help" he said and Max nodded, they worked in quiet until Krit broke the silence "I'm really grateful what you're doing for Jondy. I've never seen her that sad since... well since she found out about Ben and Jack died"
"She really cares about her family doesn't she?" Max asked and Krit nodded
"For the first eight years of her life we were all she had to cling to. It was a bad time for us in Manticore. Things were really bad... what they did to us. We just took it because it was our life. I'm just glad that she found you, you make her happy and I'm glad you're coming with us"
"Thanks Krit" he said and slapped his back
"I uh... I wanted to know about Liz getting shot at. What was with that?"
"Oh, it's the whole reason why we're together now. Liz got shot working in her dad's cafe and she was dying. I couldn't let her die so I went over and used my powers and healed her. We've been together ever since"
"Wait...? You healed her? Like really healed her?" Krit asked and Max nodded "So what powers do you have?"
"I can heal people. I can change the molecular structure of things and I can put out a shield" he said and held out his hand showing Krit his shield. He nodded in approval
"That would definitely come in handy" he said as he put some pants into the suitcase while Max turned and grabbed some shirts from the closet when there was a knock at the door both of them froze. Max put his shirts down on the bed and opened the door to find his mom standing there
"Can I come in?" she asked and he stepped aside to let her in, she was a bit surprised to see Krit standing there
"Hello Mrs Evans" he said nervously "Um maybe I should go?"
"No it's okay" she said anxiously as she tried to make eye contact
"No really, I should leave you to talk. I'm going to check on how Jondy's doing with her packing" he said then climbed out the window and took off.
"Max please don't go" she begged him "Whatever this rift is between you and Isabel we can fix it"
"Mom! It has nothing to do with Isabel! This is between Liz and me" he said as he began folding up his shirts and put them into the case
"Don't lie to me! I know that something's been going on between you and your sister! It's been nothing but nasty looks and silence for weeks and I want to know why!" she demanded. Max picked up his remote and turned on the TV then flicked through to a news channel and sure enough it was covering the transgenics in Seattle
"A few weeks ago I found out Liz was a transgenic. One of those from Seattle, her brother who was helping me back just now came to get her. Liz told us all and do you know how they reacted? How her best friends reacted? They were cold, cruel and tried to hurt her! So she's leaving... and... mom I love her! I want to be with her... for as long as I can remember I've loved Liz Parker. The first time I laid eyes on her I knew I would spend the rest of my life with her, I can't let this be the end of what we have. That's why I'm going with her"
"Is she pregnant?" Diane blurted and he scowled at her
"No she's not. All we've done is kissed... we've never after the past year and a half of being together we've just never... it wasn't about that. We were just happy being with each other but... we haven't" he stammered suddenly nervous about telling his mom about this
"I can't say that I'm happy about this. In fact I hate all this but I understand you have to do this. You're a good responsible kid and I've never had to enforce rules on you or keep you from doing bad things so I'm letting you go with her"
"Mom..." he began almost in disbelief
"On a few conditions" she said interrupting him "You call every day and you get yourself into another high school and graduate, after that you can do whatever you want okay?"
"Okay mom" he nodded
"And you talk to your sister before you leave. I don't want this hanging over you two, it's not right"
"Thanks mom" he said close to tears, she crossed the room and pulled him into a hug
"I love you Max" she said as she held him
"Love you too mom" he replied then pulled away wiping his tears away with his sleeve. She turned and left him too it.
Max knocked on Isabel's door in the early hours, he knew that she should be asleep but she was always awake at this time. She opened the door and scowled at him
"What do you want?" she hissed
"I'm here to be the bigger person and say I'm sorry for the way I treated you" he began catching Isabel off guard "Mom talked with me earlier and she wanted me to talk to you, she didn't want this hanging over us and she was right. You're my sister Izzy and we shouldn't fight, I'm sorry for acting like a jerk but you were in the wrong as well" she moved from the door and sat down on her bed and he came in and shut the door
"Do you have any idea how you made Liz feel?" he asked her "All these years she's known that she's different... I've seen a few flashes from her past and god... it was worse than when I was in the White Room. It was like the White Room for eight years straight for her, her brothers and sisters were killed around her and when she finally tells us that she's like us, that she's a hybrid running from the law as well all her friends turned on her" Isabel bowed her head because she knew he was right "All of you were so hypocritical and it was wrong"
"I know that now and I feel horrible" said Isabel she stood up "Tell Liz that I'm sorry. I'm going to miss you Max, we've never been apart before like this. I'm really going to miss you!" she pulled him into a hug and they made up hugging.
"I better get going now. Liz and Krit said they'd meet me at the CrashDown with their stuff" he said pulling away from Isabel
"Wait!" she cried and grabbed a book from the side of her desk "Alex took some photos of us so you could take with you. So you don't forget us" she said and handed him the album
"Thanks Isabel" he said and left the room returning to his to get his suitcase. He carried it out to his jeep and carefully stowed it in the back. Then got in and looked back at his house before strating the engine and heading to the CrashDown. He found Liz with two suitcases and Krit with a backpack and a hold all. They helped him get the stuff into the back then they climbed in and buckled up.
"I can't believe I'm leaving" said Liz from her place riding shot gun. Max reached across and linked his fingers with hers
"It'll be okay Liz. You'll see" he said and she nodded
"Okay love birds. Let's get this show on the road!" said Krit from the back. Max started the engine and they began their journer out of Roswell.

"Sure you can ride me home... I mean ride you home..." he trailed off feeling deeply embarrassed

Seattle was the worst place hit by the pulse, there it had gone to hell. Max had never seen such filthy streets before in his life. He was a little surprised that Liz and Krit were being so calm and cool about it. He forgot that they had been here before. Krit was driving and Liz was sitting in the back with him as they made their way to Terminal City.
"Hey guys" called Krit "I hope you don't mind going round the back way? I'm thinking you want to keep your jeep like this right Max?" he asked with a grin
"Why? What could happen if we went in the front?"
"We would be mobbed" said Liz knowingly "People want us dead"
"Oh, so back way it is" he said finally and Krit turned off and they went round the back and through the gates and through to a main building; HQ.
"We can find you a place to live later on. There's thousands of nice houses in the area that you could stay in but I think we better let Max and the others know you're here first" said Krit as he got out and the others joined him. Max and Liz linked hands as they followed her brother up the stairs past a scaly looking guy who looked extremely pissed at them and into a large base like room. Liz grinned when she saw Max giving orders
"Hey 452! Still bossing people around!" she shouted and Max paused whipping round
"Jondy!" she screamed and rushed over and pulled her little sister into a big hug "Oh My God! I can't believe you're here! The last time I saw you, you were... you were running off into the woods after break out. Look at you! You're all grown up!" she said as she checked her sister out "And whose this?"
"Max, uh. This is Max by boyfriend, Max meet my sister Max" she said and they shook hands
"You can call me 452 to make it easier if you want" said Max and he nodded
"Thanks" he replied then the lizard guy came in and started sniffing at Max
"He don't have a bar code but he's a hybrid. I don't like him" he said "He's a manticore spy" he pushed Max and Liz stepped in front of him
"He's not from Manticore! He's on our side and if you touch him again I'll rip your arms off!"
"Jeez! Protective much?" someone quipped and she froze at the voice, she turned round and saw Ben standing there
"Oh my... Ben!" she cried and rushed over throwing her arms around him
"Sorry little lady. The name's Alec" he corrected her Max came over and stood next to him
"This is Alec, Ben's clone. Alec, meet Jondy. Your sister" Max introduced them and his jaw dropped open. Max went over to Liz's boyfriend and looked him over
"If you're not a transgenic or a Manticore spy then what are you? You're not human that's for sure" she asked
"I'm an alien" he confessed "Liz... Jondy ended up in Roswell. We met and since last year we've been together. We've been through a lot"
"Jondy ended up in Roswell? That's a hoot, so you're an alien are you? Why aren't you green with antennae?" she asked jokingly
"I have them tucked into my head to look normal" he replied and her eyes went wide. She grabbed his head and pulled it down trying to see
"Let me see!" she said trying to see his antennae
"I was joking!" Max shouted as she tugged at his hair. She let go and scowled at him
"It wasn't funny" she hissed "So if you're an alien you can do alien things right? Do something alien for me" she said and he reached out and turned her black shirt to bright yellow "Uh! Change it back now!"
"I don't know. I think yellow suits you Max" said Logan as he came out from downstairs. He'd just got here
"Who asked you?" she sneered coldly
"Whose this?" asked Logan looking to the newcomers
"Logan I want you to meet Jondy and her boyfriend Max. Whose an alien"
"Cool" he said "Nice to meet you"
"So you do alien things right? Like fly around it space ships and zap people as well as annoying people with yellow t'shirts?" asked Max, Max reached over and turned it back to black
"Well I can heal. Change molecular structures..."
"Hold up... you can change the structures of molecules? How good are you with that?" asked Logan
"Pretty good, it's a small power so it's really easy to control" he said and Logan grinned "Why?" asked Max
"Max is my girlfriend. We're in it for the long haul, the thing is when she was in Manticore they put this stuff in her so if she touched me I would get sick and die. Is there a way you can get rid of it?" he asked hopefully, Max shrugged
"I could give it a try" he said and put his hands on Max's head "You have to look at me" she did as he said and he worked through and tried to find the thing. It wasn't part of her body so it shouldn't be that hard to destroy unless she was genetically created with it. He went through her head and found a small chip just in her head that controlled the virus. He began to change it's function. Max cried out in pain as the chin was changed into fluid and he sent it along out of her head. He let go of her head and she sneezed out some horrible blue fluid
"Ugh gross!" said the lizard man she scowled at him and wiped her nose when she felt Logan running a hand over her cheek. He pulled back and nothing happened "It worked..." she gasped and pulled him close hugging him. Alec just looked surprised
"Okay get a room!" he teased them and Max stuck up her finger at him "Charming" he said then turned his attention to Liz "So you're my sister Jondy?"
"It's Liz. My name is Liz now. Liz Parker" she said "This is my boyfriend Max... uh you missed introductions"
"Nice to meet you Max" said Alec then Krit interrupted
"Now that everyone's been introduced how about we go find a place for Max and Liz to live?"
"Um is it okay... I'm going with them" said Alec and Liz smiled as he put an arm around his shoulder
"You remind me so much of Ben" said Liz sadly
"I hope that I can measure up to him. You obviously thought a great deal about him" he said and she nodded. They all got in the jeep and Max and Liz sat in the back with Alec and Krit up front. Alec was driving
"So what kind of place are you looking for?" he asked as they sped through the city
"Nice place, not too run down. Two bedrooms..." said Liz and Max nodded agreeing
"Alec, let's go to Celia's street. There's a nice little house next to where she's set up with her husband and the baby" said Krit and Alec nodded turning sharply then continuing down the road.
They pulled up a few minutes later on a nicer part of Terminal City. The streets looked like they had been cleared off and there was grass and plants growing on front lawns
"Wow this place is really nice" said Max as they all got out. Celia was sitting on the lawn playing with her new baby girl, when she saw them she waved
"Hi guys!" she called and Alec and Krit came over as Liz and Max checked the house out
"Hey Celia. New neighbours for you" said Alec giving her a kiss on the cheek
"Cool, what are their names?" she asked looking them over "Are they both transgenics? That one smells a little funny"
"The girl's a transgenic and the guys an alien, if you can believe that! They're called Liz and Max, Liz is our sister from the first break out" explained Krit
"Oh... they're awfully young aren't they?" said Celia as her husband was coming out. Jack sat down on the grass next to Celia
"So were we" he said hearing the last part of the conversation "So they're our new neighbours. Maybe we can invite them round later? Have you told them about the two hour limit?" he asked and Alec shook his head.
"I'm gonna go check on them and tell them about Terminal City" he said leaving the couple and Krit on the front lawn.
Liz and Max looked round their new home excitedly then Liz pulled Max close
"I think this place is perfect for us. We can help other transgenics and maybe one day start a family?" she said with a grin and Max nodded
"Three kids? They'd be perfect just like you. One day..." he said putting his hand on her stomach. He leaned in and they began to make out. Alec stood in the doorway watching them make out, he had never seen anyone so in love as Max and Liz. Max had his hand on Liz's stomach and Liz's hand was resting over his as they kissed; she was pregnant. Max had got her pregnant. He crept back out not wanting to ruin their fun, they could find out about the two hour thing later.

They pulled up a few minutes later on a nicer part of Terminal City. The streets looked like they had been cleared off and there was grass and plants growing on front lawns
"Wow this place is really nice" said Max as they all got out. Celia was sitting on the lawn playing with her new baby girl, when she saw them she waved
"Hi guys!" she called and Alec and Krit came over as Liz and Max checked the house out
"Hey Celia. New neighbours for you" said Alec giving her a kiss on the cheek
"Cool, what are their names?" she asked looking them over "Are they both transgenics? That one smells a little funny"
"The girl's a transgenic and the guys an alien, if you can believe that! They're called Liz and Max, Liz is our sister from the first break out" explained Krit
"Oh... they're awfully young aren't they?" said Celia as her husband was coming out. Jack sat down on the grass next to Celia
"So were we" he said hearing the last part of the conversation "So they're our new neighbours. Maybe we can invite them round later? Have you told them about the two hour limit?" he asked and Alec shook his head.
"I'm gonna go check on them and tell them about Terminal City" he said leaving the couple and Krit on the front lawn.
Liz and Max looked round their new home excitedly then Liz pulled Max close
"I think this place is perfect for us. We can help other transgenics and maybe one day start a family?" she said with a grin and Max nodded
"Three kids? They'd be perfect just like you. One day..." he said putting his hand on her stomach. He leaned in and they began to make out. Alec stood in the doorway watching them make out, he had never seen anyone so in love as Max and Liz. Max had his hand on Liz's stomach and Liz's hand was resting over his as they kissed; she was pregnant. Max had got her pregnant. He crept back out not wanting to ruin their fun, they could find out about the two hour thing later.

Liz climbed the metal stairs to the head quarters of the Terminal City base looking for her sister, she wanted to know where she could buy some furniture. She was in desperate need of a double bed after pushing hers and Max's single beds together last night. But no one was around
"Hello?" she called then she heard something behind her. She whipped round and jumped back in surprise, she tripped over something and fell down.

Max was on his knees unpacking when he heard a knock at the door
"It's open!" he called and the door opened and someone came in. He glanced over his shoulder trying to see who it was but no one was there. He got up and dusted himself off trying to see who had come in "Hello?" he heard a giggle above him and saw a four year old little girl clinging to the ceiling
"You're the alien aren't ya?" she asked
"Yeah, how did you get up there. And where are your parents" he said reaching up to pull her down.
Alec climbed the steps carrying the little bundle of baby clothes he'd found when he head giggling and it didn't sound like Liz. He peeked round the door and saw Max with a little girl with big brown eyes and wild curly brown hair. He was holding her in his arms and tickling her with one hand; Alec gasped then turned and went down the porch. He was an uncle already! Why hadn't Liz told him she had a little girl already? He sucked in a breath and went back up the steps and knocked on the door.
"Hey Alec, Liz isn't here at the moment. She went to the base looking for Max" said Max and he nodded
"Yeah uh well um. This is off me and Max and Logan, it's for the baby. Would you be able to give it to her for me?" he asked handing over the bundle of baby clothes. Max looked at them confused for a moment then realised they must be for Celia next door! She must not be home.
"Sure, yeah I'll give them to her when she gets back" he said "And I'll tell Liz you stopped by" Alec made a quick retreat and headed back to the base.

"You okay?" asked the tall figure looming over her. It was a nomalie, she'd never seen a nomalie before, he held out his hand to help her up
"Yeah, I'm fine. You just scared me" she said and took his hand and he lifted her up "I'm Liz. Max's little sister"
"Joshua" he replied "I came get some paints. I like to paint"
"I have a friend who paints" she said he nodded then turned to leave "Joshua? Can I see some of your paintings?" he grabbed her arm and pulled her to the stairs up to the next level. It was a room and wood flooring had been laid down over the metal and several sheets hung over the walls to make it look nicer. Several canvases stood in piles near the walls and there was a worn easil near the window and the bed was a matress with thick blankets over it
"Is this your room?" she asked looking round
"Yeah" he said moving over to the canvas on the easil
"Why don't you live in one of the nice houses on Celia's street?" she asked as he took the cover off the canvas revealing a starry view.
"Coz the sights here are pretty. Specially at night" he told her, she moved to the window covered by a sheet and pulled it aside. It was breathtaking, she could see for miles and miles; she could only imagine what it was like at night! "You come with the star man, right?" he asked her and she got confused he pointed to the stars on the canvas "The one you love comes from here?" he asked and she came over. She looked the stars over then pointed to one
"He comes from this one, it's called Antar" she told him "He's a King"
"You his queen?" he asked and she paused. Did this mean she was a Queen? She was Queen of Antar, Max's queen!
"Yeah I think I am" she replied, she was really beginning to like Joshua. The big guy was such a little cutie and it was like having a big dog around; if Maria was here she would be petting him nonstop!
"I better get back but if it's okay I'll come and visit you tomorrow?"
"I would like that" he said, she turned to leave but he pulled her up into a hug. She smiled as he wrapped his big arms around her, this guy just gave off a safe vibe "Bye Joshua" she left the room and went back downstairs and bumped into a girl she'd never seen before
"Hi. Do you know where Max is?"
"Shakin up with her sugar daddy is where she's at. Some freaky deaky guy fixed her up and now they've been at it like rabbits since the word jump. I'm Original Cindy, sugar, you fine looking girl got a name?"
"It's Liz" she replied a little unsure of this girl and her fast tongue
"Wanna go for a drink? I know the best place, has the best pool tables in all of Seattle"
"I'm not much of a drinker but pool sounds good" she replied and the two girls took off.

Max put little Allis on the couch and watched as she slept, after she turned up today she had been running around the house non stop. He had no idea who her parents where or why they hadn't come looking for her yet. She looked awfully sweet when she slept, he was distracted from watching her when someone opened the door and walked right in
"Hello?" the girl called she walked into the very bare living room and saw Allis sleeping on the couch. It was Celia
"Hey Celia" said Max
"Hey Max, aw you've adopted Allis! It's about time! That poor girl has no family. She had parents but they were killed by Manticore's people. Are these for me?" she asked pointing to the baby clothes on the table
"Yeah Alec brought them over for you... Allis isn't"
"Thanks Max. Oh we're having a barbeque tonight, you and Liz should come. See ya" she said interrupting him then left. That girl was quicker than Maria, if that was ever possible! He wondered where Liz was, he was starting to get worried about her. He hoped she came home soon otherwise he'd have to go looking for her. He turned his attention back to Allis to take his mind of how quick the time was passing.

Liz stood on the stage singing her heart out, she'd had three beers two Long Island Ice Teas, A Singapore Sling because it sounded funny then five Tequila chasers and here she was doing kareoke. She'd got quite a crowd and wasn't half bad
"I shall believe!" she crooned then hiccuped and nearly fell off the stage. Original Cindy thought it was time to get her down, she was too drunk to do anything, except sleep and wake up with a really bad hangover.
"Come on Liz" she said taking her by the arms trying to lead her off
"Nooo! I wanna sing!"
"I know you do sugar but other people want to sing too"
"Okay" she said sadly "We can play pool instead"
"No sugar I think it's time we took you home"
"Nooo! I wanna have fun!" she said shoving Cindy off and heading over to the pool tables. Original Cindy took after her before she got herself into trouble; which it seems was already happening. A man was trying to grope a feel of her and she wasn't having it
"Come on sweetie pie" he said moving to stand over her "Just a little kiss"
"I said no!" she shouted and flung up her hand and blasted him across the room. People stood in shock as she stood there flickering and flashing and Original Cindy just rushed over grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the club fast.

It was getting brighter out and he was more than worried, from what he'd seen on TV he knew transgens could handle themselves but this was Liz. His Liz.
"Max?" he turned and saw Allis sitting up staring at him
"Morning Allis it's okay. Look I have to go out somewhere..."
"Can I come with you?" she asked sliding off the couch. He thought about it then gathered her up in his arms
"We're going to see Alec and Max. Hopefully they'll know something about where Liz is" he said
"Whose Liz?" she asked as they made their way out down the path to the jeep.
"She's like you but much older. I love her very much and she's Alec's sister" he explained as he put her into the passenger seat and buckled her up. He hurried round to his side, got in then drove off.
When he reached HQ everything was buzzing, people were running around shouting and giving orders. Max was pulling on a shirt as she sauntered into the place
"Okay what's going on!" she demanded, someone handed her some papers
"We got a breach. About an hour ago, we have X6s out scouting" someone replied but Max didn't get a good look at who it was. He walked straight up to Max put Allis down on the floor and said calmly
"Liz is missing" he told her and she paused, everyone heard what he'd said and Joshua who had come down to help out turned his head
"Your starman. Liz's starman? She was here" he explained "Last night. Looking for Max"
"What do you mean she was here? Do you know where she went?" Max demanded grabbing hold of him. Joshua just shook his head, he looked to Liz's sister
"There has to be something we can do" he said
"Look, there's a breach. Liz can handle herself, the only thing we can do is check the security footage. If the breach got this far in then something may had happened" she said "Follow me" she led up up the stairs into a small room with old looking TVs. She scanned through some tapes till she found the right one then shoved it into the VCR. She sped through Liz's encounter with Joshua then played it when Liz was standing talking to Original Cindy
"Whose that?"
"That's my boo. It's okay, if Liz is with her then she will most likely be either lying it off somewhere or on her way back from the Crash"
"Crash? What crash?" he demanded
"Crash. It's a club in Seattle, the only club with decent prices for alcohol and easy hustle pool tables" she told him. He paused for a moment then shook his head
"No. Something's not right about this. It's not right!" he looked at the TV then took off back down to the main room. He looked around trying to spot the video cameras and get the angle right. Once he did he knelt down and pressed his hand to the metal.

Liz and OC coming back drunk as skunks. Walking through Terminal City when they heard something, before Liz could react someone jumped out at them and knocked them both unconscious.

A fist coming down hard into his face. Feeling the pain explode around his eye as another blow was placed on his gut.
"Had enough yet Liz?" someone sneered

Liz lying between him and Nicholas. She was unmoving and Nicholas had this sick twisted smile on his face
"She's dead and it's all your fault. Can't bring her back now Max, you couldn't save her just like you couldn't save your family back on Antar. You're pathetic... now it's your turn to die"

"NOOOOOOO!" he screamed bringing the whole room to a standstill as he fell back. Someone grabbed him and shook him
"Max? Max what happened? Are you okay?"
"He-he-he's gonna kill Liz. He's gonna kill her... Oh God" he cried suddenly noticing the tears streaming down his face "I have to call the others. The others... we need help" he said.

The phone rang and she got up quickly to get it before her mom did. Max hadn't called once since he left and their mom was slowly tearing her hair out. She'd threatened several times to go to Seattle and bring him home

"Isabel... it's Max. I need your help" he said not hiding the fact that he was crying
"Max? What's wrong? What happened?" she asked, when Diane heard her daughter say his name she got up and hurried over. Isabel held up her hand
"Our enemies... Nicholas... he has Liz. He's going to kill Liz, please... I need your help. I don't know what to do, everyone's out looking for her and I just... I just don't know what to do. Help me Isabel, I need you"
"I'm coming" she said dropping the phone rushing to the door, she grabbed her coat and keys and left. Diane picked up the phone from the table
"Max? What's wrong? What's happened? Do you need money? Do you want me to come?"
"No mom... look someone's got Liz. I need you to go to the CrashDown and tell her parents that someone's took Liz and that we're all looking for her. I'll call there when I know more... I love you mom"
"Max..." she said before he hung up "Be cafefuly. I love you too"

"We're supposed to come running when he runs off?" sneered Michael "What'd he do? Get Liz pregnant?"
"Liz is missing. Max said our enemies, alien enemies God Damnit! Took her. They're going to kill her... Liz is one of us... she always has been. We can't turn our back on her know, she's apart of this group as you or me Michael and you know it" Maria got up off the couch and grabbed her coat
"When are we leaving?" she asked "Liz is my friend... I'm coming with you. I'm going to help you find her"
"Good, call the others" said Isabel, Maria went to the phone while Isabel just glared at Michael
"Liz is a hybrid, that's the closet thing that comes to being like what we were. Max said for the first eight years of her life she was in a White Room like place... please Michael... please help me. Max needs us" she begged her. He thought for a moment then got up off the couch
"What do you need me to do?" he asked her. She almost pulled him into a hug for agreeing
"We're going to go to Seattle. We're going to find her" she told him. Nothing was going to stop them from finding her and when they did, she would personally kill whoever tried to take and kill one of their own.

A fist coming down hard into his face. Feeling the pain explode around his eye as another blow was placed on his gut.

"She's dead and it's all your fault. Can't bring her back now Max, you couldn't save her just like you couldn't save your family back on Antar. You're pathetic... now it's your turn to die"

"NOOOOOOO!" he screamed bringing the whole room to a standstill as he fell back. Someone grabbed him and shook him
"Max? Max what happened? Are you okay?"
"He-he-he's gonna kill Liz. He's gonna kill her... Oh God" he cried suddenly noticing the tears streaming down his face "I have to call the others. The others... we need help" he said.

The phone rang and she got up quickly to get it before her mom did. Max hadn't called once since he left and their mom was slowly tearing her hair out. She'd threatened several times to go to Seattle and bring him home
"Hello!?" she said into the phone
"Isabel... it's Max. I need your help" he said not hiding the fact that he was crying
"Max? What's wrong? What happened?" she asked, when Diane heard her daughter say his name she got up and hurried over. Isabel held up her hand
"Our enemies... Nicholas... he has Liz. He's going to kill Liz, please... I need your help. I don't know what to do, everyone's out looking for her and I just... I just don't know what to do. Help me Isabel, I need you"
"I'm coming" she said dropping the phone rushing to the door, she grabbed her coat and keys and left. Diane picked up the phone from the table
"Max? What's wrong? What's happened? Do you need money? Do you want me to come?"
"No mom... look someone's got Liz. I need you to go to the CrashDown and tell her parents that someone's took Liz and that we're all looking for her. I'll call there when I know more... I love you mom"
"Max..." she said before he hung up "Be cafefuly. I love you too"

Isabel burst into Michael's apartment to find Michael and Maria making out on the couch
"Maria" she said interrupting them "Get on the phone, call Tess, Kyle, Valenti and Alex. Tell them that we all have to go to Seattle. Max needs us"
"We're supposed to come running when he runs off?" sneered Michael "What'd he do? Get Liz pregnant?"
"Liz is missing. Max said our enemies, alien enemies God Damnit! Took her. They're going to kill her... Liz is one of us... she always has been. We can't turn our back on her know, she's apart of this group as you or me Michael and you know it" Maria got up off the couch and grabbed her coat
"When are we leaving?" she asked "Liz is my friend... I'm coming with you. I'm going to help you find her"
"Good, call the others" said Isabel, Maria went to the phone while Isabel just glared at Michael
"Liz is a hybrid, that's the closet thing that comes to being like what we were. Max said for the first eight years of her life she was in a White Room like place... please Michael... please help me. Max needs us" she begged her. He thought for a moment then got up off the couch
"What do you need me to do?" he asked her. She almost pulled him into a hug for agreeing
"We're going to go to Seattle. We're going to find her" she told him. Nothing was going to stop them from finding her and when they did, she would personally kill whoever tried to take and kill one of their own.

Summary: Jondy escaped from Manticore and got as far away as possible. Years later she hears a news report about Manticore being taken down and another group of kids come into Roswell. How does the pod squad react to her little secret?

Isabel glanced round some of the buildings as the Jetta made it's way through the city under Maria's hand. Michael, Alex and Kyle were all squashed in the back while Tess was riding with Valenti. She couldn't help scowl at the surroundings; it was like a war zone! What had Max got himself into?
"Wait! There's that street!" cried Kyle pointing to one, he had hold of a written piece of paper with the directions on. Maria turned sharply and they all flopped to one side and came to a stop before a gate.
"Great!" Michael huffed "Now what!" Isabel climbed out and everyone followed suit. They saw someone walking towards the gate on the other side
"Hi you must be Max's friends. Come on in" he said pulling the gate open "I'm Logan" they went in and Maria got back in the car to drive it through.
Max was waiting for them when they got to HQ, Isabel pulled him into a hug and there were hugs and handshakes all around
"Come on, let's go upstairs to the control room. Max, Krit and Alec are waiting for us" he said and led them all up the stairs to the main room. A dark haired woman looking similar to the boy next to her and a lot like Liz sat on a desk waiting for everyone. Once everyone was in she spoke
"I know that there are some humans here so I just want to let you know that there is a two hour limit on how long you can spend here in Terminal City. There are chemicals and dangerous substances in the air that can make you terminally ill after two hours, hence the name Terminal City. Apparently it doesn't affect aliens" she said looking to Max who nodded. Allis came running in and he picked her up
"Now they have Liz and Original Cindy. The police aren't going to help us so it's time we did something. I want extra patrol on the perimeters, that means X7s" she said and a few people groaned.
"That's me" whispered Allis, Max had no idea she was an X7
"Do you have any idea who took her? Any leads?" asked Valenti who received a glare from one of the lizard nomalies
"Max had a flash... he said someone called Nicholas..."
"Nicholas?" Michael repeated looking to Max "Kivar's Nicholas? The scrawny brat?"
"A scrawny brat got Liz?" Alec asked confused
"No... Nicholas looks like a twelve year old but he's really, really powerful. The only one who came close to beating him was... Tess" he glanced back at the small blonde. Alec walked up to him and she swallowed hard
"Can you beat him and bring her back to us?" he asked she looked away and he closed his eyes
"I'll try" she replied and his eyes shot open
"Thank you"
"Okay guys we need to plan" said Max getting everyone's attention back on her. Max put Allis down and slipped out of the room, a few noticed but it was only Alec who went after him.
"You're really worried about her aren't you?" asked Alec and Max nodded
"Nicholas has her and... it's my fault"
"Don't worry Max. We'll get my sister back, if Nicholas lays a hand on her or the baby then I'll rip him limb from limb"
"Baby?" Max looked up surprised "What baby?"
"Liz is pregnant" Alec told him, Max didn't know? Now he was confused "I thought you knew?"
"Did she tell you?" Max asked as his anger grew
"No..." he trailed off because Max hurried back to the main room. He went straight for Kyle, he spun Kyle around and punched him
"You got her pregnant you bastard! You got my Liz pregnant!" he began punching him and it took several people to pull him off "I thought I'd forgive you over the whole sleeping together thing but you got her pregnant!"
"Liz is pregnant?" gasped Maria as Valenti helped his son up
"I never slept with her" Kyle cried holding his bruised face "She came to me and made it look like we had. It was a set up! If Liz is pregnant then I'm not the father" he shouted
"Get him to the infirmary" Krit said then marched up to Max "Get a hold of yourself. If you can't behave then you have to sit outside" Max held up his hands and everyone moved away from him.

Liz groaned and stretched out her hand to the girl on the bed next to her
"Cindy" she called before spitting out some blood "Can you hear me?"
"Yeah boo. I'm not so good" she replied
"Don't worry. I'm gonna get us out of here, they don't know what I am or what I can do" she said she reached over and pulled the metal bands holding her down off her upper arms, from around her neck and her legs then rolled over and fell off the table. She groaned then slowly stood up, she could feel her transgenic healing kicking in and stretched. She wasn't too badly damaged. She went over and picked up a needle and shot OC with a lot of painkillers then pulled off the metal bands that held her and picked her up
"Now let's get out of here" she said and OC just nodded in agreement. They got to the door but Nicholas opened it and came in
"Going somewhere ladies?" he smirked at them as two burly guys came in to grab hold of them.
"Are those painkillers kicking in OC?" asked Liz and she just nodded with a smirk. Liz tossed OC at the two guys spun round and kicked Nicholas in the jaw. He went down, OC was fast asleep on the floor and the guys were recovering. She picked up a tray and smacked one in the face then smashed her hand down on his lower back. He exploded into a pile of dust, she grabbed the tray and flung it at the second guard so hard it went through his middle and he exploded into dust. She was about to start on Nicholas but he threw up his hand and blasted her into the wall. She went down with a clatter
"You're a strong one Liz Parker. I can see why he would pick you over that Ava clone. Now let's see where the Granilith is" he said kneeling down just as she was rolling over to sit up. Quickly she blanked her mind and used the memory tricks she'd learnt in Manticore. When Nicholas touched her head all her saw was empty space
"What?" he said aloud wondering where her memories where. He tried harder but all he got was just blank "Where are your memories!" he shouted "Tell me where the Granilith is!" he demanded "I know you know Liz!"
"My name... isn't Liz. It's Jondy" she said before passing out.

Nicholas paced very agitated, he'd tried getting in the heads of both girls but found nothing of use. He tried to go through Liz's mind three times but kept getting thrown out after coming across nothing but emptiness. There was something about her that wasn't quite right. Ida had been torturing her for hours and nothing but emptiness. The door creaked open and he turned to see Ida standing there with her head bowed and he sighed
"I'm sorry sir" she apologised but he just snarled "It's like she has no memories at all!"
"That's impossible! Take a sample of her blood, have it tested. The only way she could delete all her memories would be to reverse Mindrape herself and the only way that could happen would be if she wasn't human" Ida nodded then left the room. Nicholas turned to the whimpering girl in the corner, he went over and knelt down in front of her
"Tess" he said and she flinched and tried to cower further "How are you feeling?"
"Yo-you won't get away with this" she stuttered
"Oh but I have" he replied
"They're going to know that one you replaced me with isn't really me"
"Ava? She was so weak and so easy to control, she does whatever I tell her. She thinks she's you" he said "They're never going to figure it out because they never liked you and now that 'Tess' is being nicer they'd rather have her around, and besides. You tried to betray them... what makes you think they'll want you back after what you've done?" he sneered and Tess began to sob not caring that Nicholas could use her emotion against her.

Ida stood staring at the results of the blood test. She had never seen results like this before and she had been a geneticist working on the husks! This Liz person was definitely not human! She had to tell Nicholas! Ida moved past the table Liz was on heading for the door when suddenly the girl jumped up, the metal bounds snapping like twigs. Liz stood on the table naked save for a thin white sheet of paper covering her front and back hunched over slightly breathing hard with her hair all matted covering her face. Ida inched back in fear towards the door hoping to get away but in a blur Liz flew off the table and grabbed her by the neck and lifted her off the floor.
"Where am I?" Liz demanded "What is your designation? What happened to the CO?" Ida couldn't say anything because fear had rendered her immobile. Liz tossed Ida to the side sending her crashing into metal trays with a clatter.
Liz turned and caught sight of herself in a dirty mirror and winced, she looked really roughed up. She bent over and pulled Ida's jacket off and pulled it on trying to warm herself up then left the room. She walked down the hall hearing various screams coming from places; some far off and some too close for comfort.
"Liz!" someone shouted out and she reacted to the name even though it wasn't her own. She leaned down and found a girl with curly matted brown hair and smudges of dirt on her face holding out both hands for her "Are you okay? Can you get us out of here?" she asked and Liz realised she must know the girl so she snapped the lock with ease and lifted the grate. The girl crawled out and lifted herself up using the wall then leaned against it "There's another girl in there. She's worse off than me, we can't leave her" she said and Liz knelt down and saw a blonde girl squashed into a corner. She grabbed an ankle and pulled the girl out, she was unconscious from the amount of damage done to her. Liz carefully lifted her up into her arms and they began to move. A boy was stood there watching them but he just watched, he seemed reserved about doing anything so he just let them go. Tess will soon die, if she's not already dead, I'm loosing nothing he thought as they walked the corridor and Liz kicked the door open letting the hot sun in, he stepped back to avoid it then the door swung shut and he was in the darkness again. He went to see if Ida, his mother, was still alive.

Ten minutes after leaving wherever it was they left the girl in her arms woke up croaking
"Liz?" she groaned, Liz looked down at her. Both girls kept calling her Liz? Maybe that was her name after all? And here all this time she thought it was Jondy! "Liz I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"For betraying you... I'm sorry" she managed to say before she slumped back unconscious
"Liz, in here. We're here" said the dark haired girl pointing to a hole in a fenced off area. She pulled back some sheet metal and the hole was big enough for them to get in. Liz shoved the blonde girl in then held the metal aside for the other girl to go in then she slipped inside and found they were in a small city.
"Where are we?" whispered Liz
"We're in Terminal City. Come on, it's safe now. We're home"
"We live here?"
"Yeah. Come on," they were about to take a step when several small children came over to them
"What's your designation" the smallest one said
"X5 210" said Liz then she looked to the others who said nothing. One of the little kids pulled out a radio and said something into it while the other, a small girl about four years old held up her arms
"You're my new mommy" she said "Mommy"
"I have a daughter?" she picked up the girl and pulled her into a hug, a sudden sense of maternal protection rose up inside her as a large jeep came hurrying over. Four people got out, two of them looked like twins and she recognised them as Max and Krit... the third person was Ben and the forth was someone that made her feel and loved
"Liz!" they cried pulling her into a hug. The fourth person, a boy about the same age wrapped his arms around her and the others let go. He pressed his forehead against hers then kissed her. The girl wriggled out of her grasp and he was still kissing her. Explosions of light lit up the dark behind her eyelids and she saw so much of her life and it slowly came back to her. The past few stretched hours of torture caught up with her and she pulled away before her legs gave out. Tears were streaming down her face and the pain was suddenly unbearable
"Max" she whimpered desperately before the darkness swallowed her whole...

"Liz?" she groaned, Liz looked down at her. Both girls kept calling her Liz? Maybe that was her name after all? And here all this time she thought it was Jondy! "Liz I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"For betraying you... I'm sorry" she managed to say before she slumped back unconscious
"Liz, in here. We're here" said the dark haired girl pointing to a hole in a fenced off area. She pulled back some sheet metal and the hole was big enough for them to get in. Liz shoved the blonde girl in then held the metal aside for the other girl to go in then she slipped inside and found they were in a small city.
"Where are we?" whispered Liz
"We're in Terminal City. Come on, it's safe now. We're home"
"We live here?"
"Yeah. Come on," they were about to take a step when several small children came over to them
"What's your designation" the smallest one said
"X5 210" said Liz then she looked to the others who said nothing. One of the little kids pulled out a radio and said something into it while the other, a small girl about four years old held up her arms
"You're my new mommy" she said "Mommy"
"I have a daughter?" she picked up the girl and pulled her into a hug, a sudden sense of maternal protection rose up inside her as a large jeep came hurrying over. Four people got out, two of them looked like twins and she recognised them as Max and Krit... the third person was Ben and the forth was someone that made her feel and loved
"Liz!" they cried pulling her into a hug. The fourth person, a boy about the same age wrapped his arms around her and the others let go. He pressed his forehead against hers then kissed her. The girl wriggled out of her grasp and he was still kissing her. Explosions of light lit up the dark behind her eyelids and she saw so much of her life and it slowly came back to her. The past few stretched hours of torture caught up with her and she pulled away before her legs gave out. Tears were streaming down her face and the pain was suddenly unbearable
"Max" she whimpered desperately before the darkness swallowed her whole...

Summary: Jondy escaped from Manticore and got as far away as possible. Years later she hears a news report about Manticore being taken down and another group of kids come into Roswell. How does the pod squad react to her little secret?

Max paced watching Liz rest, she had been like that for the past five hours with no sign of changing
"You should take a break. There ain't much of a floor as it is, we don't need you tearin a whole through it" quipped Max as she came over "Why don't you take your friends home? To that little place you got?"
"Maria, Kyle and Valenti are human. They'll need a place to stay for the night"
"They can crash at my place. I'm heading out now with Cindy" said Logan from the doorway
"Thanks"
"I'll go tell them. Max... I'll see you in the morning" he said then gave her a quick kiss
"I... I want to go home" whispered Liz and Max whipped round to see her staring at him. He was by her side holding her hand in an instant
"You will! I promise. We'll leave right now, I can have you by at the house within minutes"
"No Max. Home to Roswell" she replied "I made a big mistake coming out here. I thought I'd be reunited with my family... I was only leaving them behind" he just nodded and they didn't notice Max get up and slip out the door. She stood in the hallway as tears rolled down her face... it hurt. A lot.

The plane ride home was hard, Liz had had to say goodbye to all her brothers and sisters that were in Terminal City. She didn't like it but there was somewhere else she belonged.
"I never thought we'd go back, y'know" said Max as he slid his fingers between hers. She was underneath a blanket looking the worse for wear, she had been healed up and her Manticore kick ass healing was starting to take effect but she was still damn achy and sore
"Neither did I. But I never signed up for that, Manticore's gone. We shouldn't have to face that kind of torture... I remember what they did to you in the White Room. I remember seeing flashes of it and what they did to me was a million times worse. It was like being back in that hell hole and I'd have died before I was treated like that again"
"Hey, hey, hey" he shushed her "Rest up, we'll be home soon and all you have to worry about then is bullies in highschool, term papers and exams stresses" she smiled
"That'd be nice" she sighed then closed her eyes. Max rested his head against the pillow and spotted something out of the corner of his eye. He looked out the window and several of the soldiers from Manticore were holding a large banner up and saluting.
"Good Luck Jondy" it read then under that "You found what we've looked for" he didn't realise Liz was still awake, she smiled then turned to him
"Home" she explained then rested her head against his shoulder and fell asleep.

Liz stretched her legs, she was wearing long leggins today even though it wasn't uniform. She had several unhealed marks on her legs from when Aida tortured her and she didn't want anyone to start asking questions. It had only been a day since she'd come home and now she was already back at school.
"You okay Chica?" asked Maria, Maria had fussed and worried over her ever since she'd gotten to that gate. The only other things that were keeping Maria's attention were Michael and a little girl her mom had taken in. Apparently this girl smuggled herself onboard the plane and followed them here; she went by the name of Alice and soon Maria would be having another family member.
"I'm fine! I wish people would stop asking me that! I only got tortured! I was practically tortured everyday for nine years! You think I would have gotten used to it by now" she replied and Maria shook her head
"Come on, or we'll have detention for not running the laps" she told her friend as the two girls started running the track. Liz picked up the pace and soon she was racing ahead of everyone. She reached the finish line in about 3 seconds without breaking a sweat and the coach was just staring at her in disbelief
"Oh My God that was incredible! You just completed 100 metres in 3 seconds flat without breaking a sweat! Why aren't you on our track team" she demanded then Liz felt it. She started shaking then fell down on the floor just as the other girls reached the end line
"What's the matter with her?" someone gasped
"Go! Someone go and call an ambulance!" shouted the coach but Maria pushed her way to the front and knelt down
"Tryptofen" Liz coughed out between shakes "My locker. Hurry" she ordered and Maria rushed off. She came back with a little orange bottle and Liz opened it and took about three then laid back down on the ground
"Do you want me to get Max? He can fix this can't he?"
"It's genetics Ria... when they started mixing us up then messed all of us up"
"What's she talking about? asked the coach
"She's halluncinating" she replied then turned back to Liz "It was too soon for you to come back to school after the beating Aida gave you"
"She's dust. No one tortures Jondy and gets away with it!" she said before passing out. The medics arrived a little while later and carted her off along with Maria who wouldn't leave her side. This was sooo not good.
