I just recently bought The Divine Comedy, but haven't started it. I was just wondering what other people have to say about the book.

I say, personally, that they are worth your money.
That is my opinion, dunno about others.

I'd say it's worth reading, if only for the cultural significance. It's full of wonderful mythology, and is definitely an interesting read.

I liked it. :)

I took a course on Dante in college. Brilliant writing. Definitely gets my stamp of approval. He gets mentioned in two episodes of Star Trek Voyager, too, for those who enjoy entirely useless trivia. (Shattered and Latent Image).
