On our old computer, we had one, but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. So, I hope you find one :)

I have Webroot's Spysweeper with AntiVirus software installed on my computer. Pretty affordable, easy to use, and I've got it set so that it automatically renews itself every year. I've always been very happy with it. Does a good job of protecting the computer without blocking sites that are perfectly fine. In fact, the only time I got a virus was when I tried out a different AntiVirus program.

My parents have Norton Antivirus on theirs. That's a good one, too.

Just don't go with Trend Micro Antivirus. I had a lot of problems with it and sometimes ended up on the phone with their tech support people for 3 hours.

If you're up to it, there are some very reliable free antivirus programs you can download. I've never tried it, but my cousin downloaded one and says it's been perfect for him. Just do a lot of research before you do that so you know you're getting a good one.

Hope that helps!

I would say Norton! I have it since at least 4 years and never had problems!

I use the free version of avast. Never had a problem and it always seems to block malicious sites.
