Anyone else have this complex that seems to have now taken over my life....
The following is the list of things I have planned for the next three weeks (Not including last week not including last week when I produced a musical!)

Stage Manager for Uni Fashion Show including lots of meetings that are meant to tell me what Im doing but dnt actually have a clue - about the show, what im meant to be doing OR about fashion!
Chorus for Pantomine + Rehearsals
Showing potential uni students around campus *2 and not getting paid
Showing little kids the fun of maths ALL DAY (getting small amount of pay)
Running for Treasurer of musical theatre society
Getting 4 maths problem sheets a week that take approx 3 hrs each
2 lots of coursework - 1 that counts for small percent - one that counts for most of one of my 8 courses
Trying to study for my degree with 7 books that cost me 150 quid that I havent actually opened (because I was told they would be "useful")
Maths lectures - 16 hrs a week

Notice how the maths has been pushed to the bottom of the list.

Anyone else have a hard time saying no?

I have. I seriously think my mouth can't work out the syllable. Someone asks me to do something and I can see in their expression how bad they need it and before my brain can even proccess I hear myself agreeing to it.

So.. Yes sweetie there are other people who have a hard time saying the N word.

Same for me!..... and the worst of it, I can't never ask for help......

I had a really hard time with that. Then I was introduced to the "Bitch Complex" and life is good again. I really do hate to say no, but one day I just got tired of being a doormat and I stood up for myself. I'm a WHOLE lot happier now, and saying no gets easier with practice.

For me I can not say the word when it comes to my nephews.

When I take them some where I have to stop and get them whatever toy they see and want.And than when I bring them home,their new toys in their hands,my sister will roll her eyes and say...

"Why did you get them that?! They've got enough toys.You got to learn to tell them NO when they ask for something."

and than I go....

"No,nope can't do it.Saying no to them is your job.My job is to spoil them."

I'm completely incapable of 'no' which is why I spend every Sunday washing endless dishes in the church basement instead of enjoying my one day off a week.

I can totally relate to this problem. Sometimes I think I carry a large sign around reading "I always help. All you have to do is ask."
