Anyone interested in film production?

Post by Lorastar »

I was just wondering if anyone was interested in film production. I'm starting my own company called Vanilla Films. We're currently in preproduction of our first film, Baby, I'm Just Bad News.

I know I've had the opportunity to talk to a few people from here who are interested in fp, but just wanted to see who else is!

Film is my life. But, I guess that can be expected from an aspiring actress. :D I've always had a flair for the dramatic and the filmaking process has always appealed to me nearly as much as acting. I'm writing a television pilot now and if anything ever comes of it I'm definatly going to have a hand in bringing it from paper to screen. Lemme know if you ever need an extremely talented actress for your next film  (LOL) and good luck! :D

Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom,
Man made up a story, said that I should believe him.
Go and tell your white knight that he’s handsome in hindsight,
But I don’t want the next best thing.
So I sing, I hold my head down, and I break these walls ’round me.
Can’t take no more of your fairytale love.

That's so interesting that you mention it because my brother has started his own production company, and already made some videos that he's sold. Mostly just editing and some recording (although not technically directing) stuff right now, but it gives him a chance to work with every aspect of film making.

The film industry is something that we've both loved for years (me as long as I can remember!).

I hope that everything works out for you - I know how hard and how competitve the industry can be.

Keep me updated!

Well, though I'm in my late teens and that's all I've ever done, I've been told for years that I could pass for late twenties. Unfortunatly, i live clear over in Ohio, but I've always been very dedicated to my work and distance truelly is not an issue. Acting is very important to me, and I'd definatly be willing to travel. :D Why, do you need an actress, cause I'd love you forever and ever if you did!

Possibly. We're VERY small right now, so I can't afford to pay anything, but we're working on Baby, I'm Just Bad News. Aka, a movie based on a Roswell fic. But it's changed a lot. No Roswell.

I've taken classes from UCLA online in story development, and development as it applies to film and television.

This includes analyzing new material, and helping to shape it through the metamorphosis from story to screenplay to film.

And I'm a member of Screen Actors Guild. ;)

We gotta talk, girlfrien'. :D

The questions is not, "how far?" The question is, "Do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith to go as far as is needed?"
