I agree with you Calinia
He would always be something stable in her world, no matter how messed up the rest of her life might become, another thing Isabel craved. Besides, he accepted her just the way she was. He never tried to change her, even when she wasn't exactly treating him all that well. I think in her eyes, he was simply perfect.
If only Isabel and Alex had more screen time then I am sure you would see a whole lot more Stargazers in the crowd and more Adult oriented stories.

There are quite a lot of Mature stargazer love scenes out there. You just have to be willing to read M/L and M/M fics to get to them.

it's totally fine. It's very flattering I find.

Adult rated stargazer would be pretty much identical to any of the other fan groups surely. If your that eager for stargazer adult, find a story rated adult, and change all the names.

The emotional interaction between the characters is the reason we're stargazers and not hormonaly driven breeding machines, I would have thought.

Incidentally, and off-topic for a moment, just watched the entire third series.

Why "Poor" Jesse? (that name shouldn't be mentioned here)

Poor jesse = I may not like the fact that he's a feebel replacement for Alex but I know how he will feel once the shock of the loss wears off. If given the choice between

1. the life of a hunted animal , always on guard, constant paranoia been chased by enemies who if they captured you, make death look like a good option and

2. a safe, rich life of comfort

I choose 1. I'd rather live a week with my heart in me than a life with it ripped out.

Changing names = sex is sex. How you get there is the characterisation as well as the interesting part. Its identical to "a good body will last you a night but you need a good mind to last you a life time"

WOW,

Sex is Sex? I think most people on this board would dis-agree with you here, Alex and Isabel are nothing like Max and Liz, the chemisty is different and you saying to take a beautiful story, ANY story and change the names is an insult to the writers.

As far is bringing Jesse up in the stargazer forum, gee that's a no brainer

great you feel sorry for him, go feel sorry for him on his thread. We don't need definitions, this is just not the place.

Question - whats the difference between a porn movie and a normal movie with lots of sex.

Answer - take the sex out of one and you still get a (shorter) movie. Take the sex out of the other and you get to watch 3 minutes of dodgy credits.

There are a limited amount of things you can do in a sex scene. Look at a 100 porn movies (if you can stand it) and after 10 or so they start to be the same. So by definition, unless the "sex" is merely background, the characters will act and do identical things.

Incidentally, when I say change the names I mean specifically in the sex scene. Obviously the rest of the story wouldn't be generic enough.

Re: J***e - been there, done that, didn't like. And as for going to his forum, why would I want to talk to myself? I'd rather talk to you.

:) Ok maybe we should straighten out a few things first

Are you a Stargazer? (I know this is a silly question but putting it in black and white is better sometimes)

Do you read NC-17/Adult fics?

Sometimes things posted on a board are taken the wrong way, I am a Adult A/I writer so I took offence to your change the names posts.

I have to say though you made me laugh with your last comment

I'm not a hater, but that was classic

yes - some should shoot the script writer that thought that losing alex would be a good idea

Do you read NC-17/Adult fics?

yes - but not because their NC-17, it's entirely possible they may be a good story as well

Apologies - I don't intentionally insult ANYONE, I find that patience will do that for me much more effectively (you remember "Forrest Gump" and "stupid is as stupid does" don't you). If a comment I make appears insulting, think less of emotion and more of logic. AND BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ITM I DON'T HAVE POINTY EARS

I have to say though you made me laugh with your last comment

Thank you

I'm not a hater either. I was thinking of the situation and not the character. It would apply to any of the "I know you love me but go away for you own sake" situations in Roswell but this one choked me particularly. I hate been told stuff like this. IT HURTS!!!
