According to Kirsten at eonline, Emilie will be on a holding contract with Lost for season five and returning in season six. So no Emilie next year but she will be back in the future.

Last I heard, they were only going to make 2 more seasons of Lost after season 3 (this was over a year ago) and were finishing/cancelling it after season 5. Has this changed then?

six seasons. There's two more but they will be reduced from the usual 21/22 episodes to 16 (or 17 to make up for the writers strike this year.)

So we won't be getting any closure with the Creepy Claire storyline huh? Atleast not for a year. That'll be rough! But I'm glad we haven't seen the last of her and I'm glad Emilie has something solid to have planned, regardless of whether it's this year or next. Thanks for posting!

If you are on the East Coast it premiers tonight @ 9pm and again immediately after at 11pm. Then it airs again tomorrow, Sunday, 4/5/09 @ 9pm EST.
