I took this off a media blvd pg but it’s valid...

Keeping Roswell on the Scifi Channel, Let's show them we love our aliens...

Roswell's 5 year contract with Scifi will be ending at the end of December. They did have 2 rotation days scheduled in January but they pulled them off of the schedule. We need to let them know how much we appreciate them picking it up and giving us the opportunity (the old fans and the new ones) to relive this amazing story and we want to have it stay around for a long time.

We can contact them two ways,

1. You can e-mail them at Scifi feedback

The programing feedback is the first one. If you can, e-mail them daily asking them to please continue the shows after the contract is up. You can tell them what the show means to you and why you love it. If you can't do it every day, try to do it at least once or twice a week, the more the better.

this is the email address: feedback@scifi.com

2. Send a few cards to them too.

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v654/ ... firos2.jpg)

Send them to:

SciFi Channel
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112

You can add: Attn. Programing Dept. too, so it will get to where we want it to go.

Hopefully they'll see how much we love it and want to keep it around.

Shiri's show is still going to air despite the writer's strike. :) Read the following article.

'Dead Zone,' '4400' Get the Ax
USA cancels veteran dramas to make way for newbies

The other shoe has dropped for two of USA Network's longer-running series, "The Dead Zone" and "The 4400."

Rumors about the fate of the sci-fi series had been floating for some time, and USA made it official this week. The cancellation of the two shows will make room for new series, including the crime drama "In Plain Sight," with Mary McCormack, and the dramedy "To Love & Die," starring Shiri Appleby and Tim Matheson.

"We wish we could keep all our great shows alive forever," USA original programming chief Jeff Wachtel tells The Hollywood Reporter. "But we feel we need to give some of our new shows a platform to grow, and it's with great sadness that we say goodbye to two shows that had a great run and helped create the resurgence of original programming on our network and on all of cable."

"The Dead Zone," based on the Stephen King novel about a man (Anthony Michael Hall) who can see people's futures when he touches them, premiered in 2002 to a then-record audience of 6.4 million viewers. It ran for six seasons.

"The 4400" came along in 2004 and broke that record, drawing 7.4 million viewers to its premiere (a figure since surpassed on ad-supported cable by TNT's "The Closer"). The tale of a group of abductees who return to earth with special abilities ran for four seasons.

Creator Scott Peters posted news about the cancellation on a USA message board, thanking fans for making the show a success. "We've had a great time bringing you this story and submersing you in the lives of all these incredible characters," he writes. "I wish we could go on forever, but the party has come to an end."

My Canadian friend and I were chatting about upcoming Batman Film "Dark Knight" on lunch time Today. As far as I know,
The New Batman Film doesn't show Talia Al Ghul. When I told him this, the topic of discussion moved to which actress would be a good choice to play Talia al Ghul. I don't know what you think, but I picked Shiri Appleby. Of course Shiri is not of mixed heritage like Talia Al Ghul, but I believe she has some kind of exotic feel about her appearance with the right makeup and dressing. Talia in the comics is often portrayed as a exotically beautiful woman With long black hair. Shiri looks great with long black hair and some makeup could make her skin look darker, making her a good candidate to play Talia.

Of course, there are number of other actresses fit to play Talia, but I believe Shiri could be the one in the future. Only problem is that she is getting a bit old for the role. She is 29.
