Also, Merlin Olsen died a few days back, as did Fess Parker. As soon as I told my dad this, he came out with, "Merlin the Magician!" and started singing the Ballad of Davy Crockett. My dad is really quite funny. It's mostly unintentional, mind you.

The only Anne Rice book I've read was Interview with the Vampire and I liked it, but it didn't make me want to pick up another one of her books, if that makes any sense.
