I like both Hp and LotR books equally well. But I have to disagree on the point about HP being easy reading. Wow, I am so glad I found this thread. I abosolutely adore romance novels, especially historical ones. My favorite authors are Karen Monk , Lynn Kurland , Nora Roberts , Norah Hess (to the one who said they loved cowboys- all of Norah Hess' stuff is set in the old west [at least as far as I've seen]...
